GEO (GLOBAL EQUITY ORGANIZATION) AWARDS

We SHARE, the share plan for Generali Group employees, was awarded at the last edition of the GEO
(Global Equity Organization) Awards, the international global event that recognizes companies for
excellence in the design and management of their employee share plans.

“MOST HONOURED COMPANIES” IN THE INSURANCE SECTOR

Generali has been recognised among the “Most Honoured Companies” in the insurance sector in the All-
Europe Executive Team annual ranking by Institutional Investor, the specialist magazine and independent
research company in the field of international finance.
Institutional Investor awarded Generali Group CEO, Philippe Donnet, who took second place overall
in the “Best CEO” category. Group CFO, Cristiano Borean, and Head of Investor & Rating Agency
Relations, Giulia Raffo, took top spot in the “Best CFO” and “Best IR Professionals” categories,
respectively.
Generali was also ranked among the best companies in the “Best IR Program” and “Best Investor/
Analyst Event” categories, and took first place as the “Best IR Team”.

DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY EUROPE INDEX (DJSI EUROPE)

DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY WORLD INDEX (DJSI)

Launched in 1999 as a global benchmark dedicated to sustainability, the DJSI ranks leading companies
basedon RobecoSAM’s analysis of Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria and S&P Dow Jones
Indices’ methodology. For Generali, the S&P CSA questionnaire is a means to continuously improve
sustainability practices and performance. The important benchmark recognises the Group’s continuous
commitment to integrate sustainability into its business activities, consistent with its Lifetime Partner
ambition, strengthening its leadership position in terms of sustainability performance as it ranks among
the global top five companies in the insurance sector.

We SHARE was honoured by UNA’s Assorel Award with a double recognition: the award in the Internal
Communication category for the launch campaign addressed to all Generali people, and a special
award for the Mobile & App section assigned to We SHARE App, the application dedicated to Generali
employees around the world who signed up for the Generali Ownership Plan.

“PURPOSE-LED SPONSORING CAUSE” AWARD

The Human Safety Net was honoured by ESA, the European Sponsorship Association, with the
prestigious “Purpose-Led Sponsoring Cause” Award for its integrated approach connecting sponsoring
activities to community engagement, with the following motivation: “A brave and scalable idea, with
great use of sponsorship to complement and accelerate its underlying business purpose. The thinking
behind the whole concept was impressive, well executed and innovative, with strong overall results - a
very worthy winner!”

Generali was confirmed at the top of the Webranking review, the survey that evaluates the corporate
websites’ performance of leading European companies, drafted by Comprend in collaboration with
Lundquist. The Group stands out among the most transparent companies in Italy and Europe and is
rewarded with five stars and a score of 86.3 over 100, improving its score by one point compared to
2020.
