What are obstacles? In literal sense they are the actions or the situations that cause hindrance. But according to me,

opportunities are disguised as obstacles that help us improve our circumstances.

But how? The obstacle in front of us has a purpose. It makes us adaptive to the problem, and helps us figure out the

solution, develop new skills, and we improve ourselves emotionally as well as physically. In other words, the obstacles

we face help us discover our real self. They push us to come out of our comfort zone, allow us to grow and try new

things, new ways of being and new ideas. People prefer avoiding these obstacles or challenges, feeling petrified and

anxious, they don’t feel competent as they don’t know where to start; or because they feel the problem to be too big.

In today’s era the pandemic has became an obstacle too for the students all over the world. Some students let this

become a handicap while some take it as an opportunity to reach the top, expand their horizon, and to dig the real self

out. We should overcome obstacles or challenges rather that dodging or running away from them. But again the

question arises how? Stop accusing that the world doesn’t want to see you happy and that’s the reason why you have to

face all the obstacles. Face what you are going through with courage just like when you sight a wild animal, if you show

your fear, it is likely to spring upon you, but if you look at it squarely in the eyes it will shrink out of sight. Try to be

away from chaos and see the obstacle from a greater perspective. When you hit an obstacle, don’t panic, give yourself

time to analyse the situation so that you do not regret it later. The main reason why people back out before reaching

their goal is that they think the problem or the obstacle which they are going through is too big for them. At last we

need to remember this thing that obstacles and opportunities go hand in hand, the difference lies in the way we

perceive them.
