DOCTORS- THE REAL HEROES

When was the last time, you thank these people
When was the last time, you appreciated their efforts

They have been working day and night
They have been risking their life too

They have been left their families behind
They haven’t slept in a long time

They are busy saving life without a fail
Some are not realizing what the Angels are doing
Some are not standing behind them n cooperating

It’s high time we need stand with them
God sent Angles in form of Doctors

RULES OF MY ONLINE CLASS

Rules..rules.. Rules.. Rules!
Rules of my online class…
See your schedule and go to the teams,
Then login through the calendar.
As you enter the class, say good morning,
And mute yourself as quickly as you can.
Rules..Rules.. Rules.. Rules!
Rules of my online class…
If you have understood just give a thumb up,
If you haven’t, just raise your hand.
If the teacher asks something taking your name,
Then only unmute yourself but again remember to mute.
Rules..Rules.. Rules.. Rules!
Rules of my online class…
If you have net issues then be patient,
If you can’t see the shared screen then also be patient.
Everything will come up to you just have patience,
Because it’s internet, teaching you to be patient.
To the end of class, just say goodbye,
Drink water and be ready for your next class,

THE PRISON OF DISEASE

I hate this prison of disease,
I miss the days of freedom and release.

With doing all activities,
Without any captivity.

It feels like detention in my house,
Roaming here and there all day like a mouse.

I had wings I wish,
Flying everywhere with relish.

With no fear of being bound,
I would fly everywhere I found.
With all these curfews and lockdowns around me,
My favourite sweets are waiting for me.

I miss all my friends and my school,
I just sit and recall them too.

In my house- I discovered many things,
From things in big rooms to small pins.

All phones at home are filled with selfies,
Seems as if I take daily at least twenty.

I listened all songs and learned them too,
Hope I will be released from this boredom too.

I have learned to sew,
And also to cook.
Still I do cry,

‘Cause I have nothing to do.

Each day seems like a year,
I think I am forgetting to cheer.
With no exercise and nothing to play,
I am becoming a bear of clay.

I am fed up of television and mobile,
I have read each book at least thrice.
Thinking of doing something creative,
I mostly end up with only sleeping.

I daily wish and pray to the God,
Please end up all this O! Lord.
Let us go to our daily routine,

With freedom and no prison of Disease.

CORONA VIRUS

Corona virus is the virus that shocked our lives
Now we can’t even rise in the skies
First time I am missing my school
Because of the government's rule
First time the roads are empty
That’s why everyone is feeling senty
The popcorns that we eat are salty
Everyone thinks that China is guilty

For all the years to come, we shall promise
That we will not be filthy, we will be healthy.

LOCKDOWN 2020

Oh dear lockdown
You closed every town
Everyone following you
Deserves a big crown
Dada, dadi, mom and dad
All were home that made me glad
Thali beating and lamp lighting
Got together those who were fighting
This was a special time for me
I enjoyed every desserts for free
I tried to improve my hobby
And helped my mom in cleaning lobby
The online classes were interesting
It taught every one technology
But we missed our schools badly
For which china should give apology
Thank you all policemen and doctors
For working hard as our protectors
We should also credit our Prime Minister
For taking good care of our brothers and sisters

STRUGGLE OF THE WORLD

In light of pandemic disease today,
There’s just a few things I’d like to say,

CORONA, CORONA ,CORONA,
Originated from China.
I tried to kick the ball,
To the goal of war,

The building of corona was tall,
But I decided to roar.

My world has many rules tight,
I should not be careless,
I decided to fight,
I am fearless.
I was missing my school,

Wishing to meet my friends,
Even though being cool

With my family as my friend.
It was time to focus on my hobbies,

I focused on my drawing,
I learnt more humanities,
I starting meditation early rising.
I gave a little bit of my time to my health,
And learnt to take care of my mental health,
I improved my speed of cycling,
This all made my life happening.

I also read some myths,

I learnt vedic maths,

I gave one hand on craft,
I made an aircraft.

I spent my time helping my mom,
I arranged the dining table,

Washed the fruit and vegetable,
I operated washing machine,

I kept my surroundings hygiene.
Wash your hands,

Don’t touch face with dirty hands,
Keep some distance,

And don’t touch face with dirty hands,
Wear the mask,

Corona is a great task.
Salute the doctors,

Salute the policeman,
Salute the sweepers,
They are the real superman.

LOCKDOWN

This lockdown has changed our life in many ways. we are stuck at home
and we can’t enjoy parties, food at restaurant without lays.
we miss school and meetings with friends.

Due to this I cannot attend my sports academy or play basketball.
We need to stay at home,

eating habits must changed

This lockdown gave some positives also.
I have learnt how to do online classes through zoom ,teams and so.

and also how to be Self-discipline,
while learning through online classes, clay modelling and ten new words.

Help the people who are in need. By being kind and generous indeed.

Lockdown helped me develop new skills,
I love cooking and making cakes through new skills.

I have spent quality time with my parents,
and played games with my family members like ludo, indoor basketball,

carom, and studio etc.
Overall lockdown was tough but gave us many new learning of life.

A VIRUS CAME TO OUR WORLD!!

A virus came to our world,
And almost everything got disturbed.

But don’t panic, stay positive,
Defeating corona should be our motive.

In these lockdown days,
We can’t go to schools, gardens and even cafes.

But we can spend the time with family,
And can enjoy this precious time in so many ways.

Hygiene, yoga and healthy diet,
Boost our immunity to fight.

Social distancing is the way so right,
To save the world from this deadly dynamite.

Doctors, nurses, cops and sweepers,
Are the real warriors.

Collective efforts are always superior,
Soon, we will get rid of this disease so severe.
Don’t go outside to become a corona carrier,
Thanks to all the fighters to help us cross this barrier.

GO CORONA

Go Corona Go! You are not wanted anymore,
Many are suffering because of you,

And scenes you have created looks very untrue,
Poor are not getting any food to eat,

Helplessly, they are returning to their native place bare feet.
Lockdown has been declared as corona positive cases have increased,
It’s because of you, ‘Corona’ we are not getting tasty restaurant feast,

But I will not deny that we are able play with our parents at least.
Television serials are all being repeated,

Corona! One day certainly, you will be defeated.
The great doctors and scientists will soon make vaccines,

We will not tolerate you anymore in 2020’s.
The whole world has come to halt,

And we all are at home without any fault.
Internet and books have become our support systems,
Now, you have to go corona as you have created enough problems.
We are being protected by the brave doctors, sweepers and police,

Go Corona go! We want to live in peace.

O! DEAR LOCKDOWN

Oh! Dear lockdown.
For some people you are so bad,
But for me you are really good.

You are good…
Because my father gets time to play with us.

You are good…
Because my family gets time to have lunch and dinner together.

You are good…
Because I get time to enhance my creativity and explore new things.

But you are also bad in many ways…
O Corona! Because of you, just because of you, schools, colleges, shops are

all closed.
We can’t meet our friends and family,
We can’t go anywhere to hang out and play.
We can’t go out to cafes to relish delicious and spicy dishes,
You brought this world to halt, we can’t fulfil our wishes.
But, keeping everything aside, first we have to fight,
We have to fight this pandemic with all the might,
So, gear up to get rid of this deadly virus with grace,
Together, let’s make this world a beautiful place.

This pandemic virus is so adamant and cruel,
But we Indians are no less, we are ready to fight this devil.

There is only one way out to stay away from this virus,
Maintain social distancing and follow the advice given by corona warriors.
The sweepers, cops and health care workers are working day and night,

They are the pride of the nation and they will set everything right.
Let’s all pray for humans to be free from this horror,

Till that time, we will have to be careful at every corner.
We have faith that these warriors will save us from the deadly virus,

Soon, we will be free from this lockdown and all the barriers.

PEACE AND WAR

When war and conflict totally increase
In our world, there should be peace
People must learn to get along
Not blame other for being wrong

Peace on earth will surely grow
When there’s love that we all know

If beautiful love is freely spread
Nothing is there to be scared

Peace will make the world free
Open our eyes and help us to see
War and conflict made people sad

Hurting other is really bad

Peace is something you can't buy
You won't get it from the sky

Something about is truly sublime
It does not follow distance not time

Many kids live through an awful war
Their family ends very poor
During war they often lose

Sometimes even their own shoe

War and peace are at opposite side
Lesson learned that history provide

Education is a hope
Future struggles need to cope

LIFE AT A PAUSE

From micro-organism to pandemic,
From free to confined

The life has come to a halt,
Indeed, we need to mind.
Gone the noises of trains, planes and cars,
At first, it looked just ‘Flu’ or another round of ‘SARS’.
No meeting, no love, not even a good bye!
This virus made us watch our loved ones horribly die.
‘’Everything suddenly paused……………..
Places seem deserted everywhere at all.’’
Doctors, nurses, cops and health workers
Struggling night and day,
Oh! ALMIGHTY, please keep this pandemic away.
Cough, sneeze or clear your throat,
But make sure you do all that in your elbows.
Hugs, kisses and handshakes……NO! NO! NO!
‘Namaste’, blow kiss or wave hand to say ‘hi’ or ‘hello’.
No schools, no teachers, no friends and no screams,
But thanks to my DPS teachers to make it happen through ‘Microsoft Teams’
As we enter into this new normal, we all have a heavy heart and mind
But, together we all stand and it’s more important to be generous and kind.

THE DAYS OF CORONA

I will never forget those days,
When I was kept in a cage,

When I was told to keep distance,
When I was asked to wear a mask.
The world will never forget those days,

When doctors became soldiers,
When one policeman became an army,
When sweepers and security became warriors.

I will never forget those days,
When schools were closed,
When trains stood still,

When airplanes were kept on the ground.
The world will never forget those days,
When we were in a cage and
Birds were free to go,
When millions died and trillions cried.
No one will forget those days,
" The Days of Corona"
When unknown Warriors,

Paid an amount called, ' The Amount of Life For us.'

I didn’t assume that you ever had a time machine
How did you become smarter than Einstein?

Took a great leap from the 1960’s to the 21st century
Yes, I’m talking to you, Covid-19
Did we ever ignore a scientist?
Or disbelieve a meme?

Who knew you could kill thousands of us?
As easily as it doesn’t even seem…..

You cause us cough and make our throat sore
You make us sneeze like a pro

Some of them can’t breathe because of you
But you know what they say, why don’t you go?!

No time to lose hope
We’ll be stronger than we could ever be
We’ll stay at home, hygienic and clean
We’ll kick you out of the planet, you wait and see….

THE SPEC-TACULAR STORY

During this quarantine my specs broke down,
Not both of them only a temple came down
At first I panicked I didn’t know what to do,
Then I realised it’s the last day too.
But at night when I turned the TV on,
The Prime Minister said it had to go on.
I watched it and then again started to bother,

Until I knew it could be worn without its brother.
The other one then started to miss its brother,

And when I bent down it took the opportunity to jump out like the other.
I put them side by side thinking what to do,

Until I remembered a craft trick that might fix the two.
My glue-gun did the trick and put them side by side,

But alas! They leaped out again without thinking what’s wrong and right.
But the glue-gun had created pockets where both of them fit in,
So even if they ran out they had to come in.
I thought only humans like freedom
But specs want it too.
When things were looking up I ordered a new pair,
Which helped in ending all the despair.
But these naughty specs will be my most precious ones,
Because they had a story full of twists and turns

LOCKDOWN

This lockdown is a scary time,
So I thought that I could write a rhyme
I am missing my friends and teachers
Waiting for the time when school reopens.

Coronavirus has made the roads clear,
It is presently the world’s biggest fear
Online classes in many education centres are going on
I believe that the time to change the situations has not gone.

Spend your time with parents and siblings,
Do not miss those tasty noodles and dumplings

Luckily we are enjoying at our home
Think of those workers who are leaving their lodge.

Do not get bored at your place,
Maintain a 2 meter of social distance
Explore something new at home every day
The study, Play, Draw, Cook, Help each other and pray.

This is the time in which it is better to negative,
But my mind always be practical and positive
Doctors and Nurses are playing on their life
Please stay at your home to save their valuable life.

We have been locked at our home from 70 days,

THANKS TO LOCKDOWN…

Latch and lock the doors,

Like friends forever and nothing more.
Home, the nicest word there is,
To stay safe in today’s date.

Do not seed Corona seeds in the yard,
People will eat people,
Turning door to door,

They are in the arms of lockdown
Send around.

Man-eating clans,
They have come from abroad.
Hungry seeds will be destroyed

Seeing the closed doors.
This is revenge.
This is nature.

Stars light, stars bright
Soothing my closed eyes,
As I desire with all my might
I realize my vision, to the stars up
Watch them shine with such love and passion,
Without the fear of lead sky.

Butterflies fluttering around.
Canoes moving slowly,
Across the subtle waves.
Birds flying,
Ducks playing,
This is relaxation.
This is nature.

LIFE IN LOCKDOWN

In this Pandemic time,
Going out seems like a crime.
Only go out for the work which is prime,
Less work remains, no overtime.
Just love your family the entire time,
Pray to god by heart, again be divine.

They say
“Prevention is better than cure ’’

So stay away
Otherwise, you will get the disease for sure.

Inside the homes, you may secure
Enjoy, have fun with the family this you have to ensure.

Social distancing
The recent word is trending,
Or it is just physical distancing
On which we should be depending,
For this time which seems never-ending.

Lockdown is a scary time,
And the teacher giving homework to write a rhyme.

Mamma not allowing me to play out,
Which is making me want to shout.

Hope this lockdown ends,
So that I can meet all my friends.

But wait, nature symbolize
If dark comes, so the light will also arrive

We the social animals again can live
Let’s be strong until and survive

Till then, build up our families bonding tiles
Be safe, be alive

Lockdown makes day boring
People lazily snoring

Healthy routine went ignoring.

Corona virus is a pandemic,
Remember, it is dangerous than an epidemic.

If we all stand together, we will be able
to make this situation stable.

Stir a soup, prepare a shake,
Read a book, bake a cake,

Stay home, do what all it takes,
As people’s lives are at stake.

From India exporting hydroxychloroquine,
To people locking themselves up in quarantine.
Be compassionate and empathetic, don’t be mean

Keep your surroundings sanitized and clean.

Stay away from disease called fake information,
Do your bit and support administration.

Don’t venture out for meeting those in relation,
There are lots of modes of digital communication.

There are no breakthroughs which are phenomenal
For an infection that’s international

And for the world to be again successful
Social distancing and masks will be the new normal.

LIFE IN LOCKDOWN

Corona dragged itself into the world from the dragonland,
Though the Dragon denies in its migration it has any hand.

Not just one state or one nation is locked,
Actually the whole world is locked where no one is allowed to flock.

It has killed lacs if not millions,
But it has ruined economies of trillions.

In India workers and labourers in throngs on foot or stuffed in lorries and
trucks like cattle,

May God give them immunity to fight Corona battle.

Mobile and televisions are now only the source of information,
Newspapers are being stopped for some duration.

Hordes of young and old , men and women on bikes and mobikes, autos and
tempos tell the tales of miserable plight,

Whereas in contrast their privileged brethren come home by Air India flight.

It reminds of refugee migration of 1947 partition,
Sights of little children loaded on luggage speak of distress and destitution.

This virus is taking place of Spanish flu,
Whose treatment is only day-night curfew.

It was the time when lockdown was not there,
People were gathering here and there.

Tragic reality cannot be changed,
Only the habits can be.

Remember always to wear a mask whenever you stumble out for any
essential need.

And they wonder how we manage to survive.

I always cry,
I don’t know why?
And wish to be a bird flying high in the sky.
I want to run out
But I can’t.
I want to play with my friends
But I can’t.
I want to meet my relatives
But I can’t,
Because I am locked in my home,
Like a story in the tome.

No place to walk,
This is the real pain of lockdown;
Which I really don’t want.

LOCKDOWN

I thought someone had locked me in home from outside,
Then remembered the temporary law of staying at home is applied.

If you get bored, then enjoy with family,
Or alone play with your old toys timely.

Better is doing studies offline,
Adjust for some time studying online.

Learned much of the housework,
For which we should have smirk.
Parents are angry when screen time is more,
But happy when we clean the floor.

My sister and I made sweets,
But funny, it turned out to bitter treats.
In online classes knowledge we are gaining,
By putting headphones ears are paining.
It has been a long time seeing the smiling faces,
Because of wearing mask to avoid coronavirus cases.
Washing hands many times become the necessity,
Roaming here and there is banned in city.
Maintaining social distance and knowing importance of cleaning,
Staying at home and saving ourselves from covid 19 is a winning.

ARTICLE ON LOCKDOWN

When the lockdown started, I was getting bored as I had to stay home to
stay safe so I thought of doing something new. I learned how to write
poems and how to upload pics on powerpoint. I loved to play with my
little brother and spent time on doing something creative. At first, it was
a bit new to me to attend ‘online classes’ but now I am used to it. I
helped my mother with the household work. I would go cycling twice a
week, do exercise and do yoga. The happiest time in the lockdown was
when I was preparing for my state festival about RAJASTHAN. I love to
read magazines and story books in my free time. In the lockdown I
created a new routine and did things that I never did before. I just
started coding on code.org and math classes on khan academy. I am also
attending online guitar classes. I learned a new hygiene of wearing a
mask and sanitizing hands frequently. STAY HOME STAY SAFE.

LOCKDOWN

Lockdown means when people are not allowed to go out of the house.
Lockdown is imposed in an emergency situation in a country. Since
March 25th lockdown has been imposed in our country. It has been
imposed because of COVID-19 infection. This disease spreads from
person to person by droplets. We feel scared to go out of the house. We
feel bored as we can’t play outside. We are passing time by playing
indoor games and reading books. Always sitting at home is very boring.
We were happy when online classes were started. In lockdown we are
eating all homemade sweets and food. During lockdown no outside food
is allowed. I am eagerly waiting to meet my new teachers and

LOCKDOWN

For the last 3 months, from the month of March, we all are living in
lockdown. There is a coronavirus disease which is spreading very fast
and so we have to live in lockdown.

During this lockdown, I did drawing, singing and played piano. I learnt
to solve sudoku, read stories of Secret Seven and Geronimo Stilton,
helped my mom in kitchen work. During the evening hours, I played
badminton with my sister and father. Sometimes my mom also played
carrom with us. I did many other things as well! I watched Ramayan
and Mahabharat on TV which increased my knowledge. Since our
schools were closed, we used to have online classes. This was a new
type of class for me. I have not met any of my teachers or classmates
except my old friends Adya and Chirayu. But I enjoyed studying online
a lot and did my homework as well. In the State festival, I played piano
along with singing and everyone clapped for me. Now our classes are
over and summer vacations have started. I am enjoying this lockdown
because I am spending time with my family but at the same time I miss
my school and friends too......!!!

A BIG DEVIL – CORONA

COVID – 19 full form Corona Virus.
Corona virus is a family of viruses which is causing disease in humans &
animals. Its origin is from China. The person gets infected by touch and also it
is transferable disease.
It has already spread across the world. Any person or family infected by this
disease has to be Isolated for 1-16 days. Due to Covid 19 whole world was
under lockdown for almost 50 days. People were advised not to go out of their
house till it is emergency.
Due to this lockdown everyone has to stay in house with their families.
Children below 10 and elders above 50 have to take more care and
precautions. If by chance we have to go out, we must use mask covering our
Nose & Mouth.
This disease has brought many change in everyone’s life starting with children
they are not to able to go to school, Teachers & Students are Meeting on Zoom
or Microsoft for new session.
They are not able to meet their friends, go outside for playing in evening.
Having summer vacation children are not able to go to Nani Ghar. Parents have
to change time table due to excess of work on mother. They have to read,
understand and make child do the work.
Elders are not able to go out for walk, for little Gup Shup with neighbors.
Our Police Force, Doctors and other corona warriors are helping the nation to
go rid of this devil.
I thanks to all the people who are trying their best & helping us to survive in
the world.
I pray to God to take away this disease.
During this crucial time I also enjoyed with my family but missed some friends
& other family members. I helped my mother in many works eg-: Dusting,
Cleaning. I understood the importance of Cleanliness and how important it is
to use mask to protect us and our close ones from getting this disease.
I used to wash hands regularly. One of my favorite pass time was to clean my
home with mummy, doing lot exercise (Zumba) in evening with family to
increase immunity.
We played Cards, Ludo, Carrom, Chess, and Badminton etc. I started chopping
slowly with my mother, making dish by watching YouTube.

EXPERIENCE OF LOCKDOWN

Currently, not just India, but the whole world is facing the pandemic of
COVID 19. In order to keep us safe, our hon'ble prime minister Shri
Narendra Modi declared lockdown on March 22, 2020. This was the first
experience for all of us. My parents made me aware of this disease and
the precautions to be taken to stay safe. From the TV and newspapers, I
learned the importance of self-hygiene and cleanliness of surroundings.
The task of dusting and cleaning home was assigned to all the family
members. I got the responsibility of cleaning the door's handle and
windows using sodium hypo solution which I am performing well. I got
the opportunity of watching epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata in the
company of my grandparents. It was an amazing experience and I
learned many good things to follow in life. I also helped my mummy in
little household works. Apart from this, online learning was a great
experience for me. I enjoyed this with full zeal and enthusiasm. My
teachers have been kind enough to make me understand all the things
and they took care of my study very well. This pandemic has taught many
lessons for our life. We started caring for each other in the family and
spending quality time with elders. It also taught us the value of savings in
our life. I learned that I should avoid extravagance because a penny saved
is a penny earned. We often pray to the Almighty to help us get rid of this
pandemic so that our life becomes as it was earlier.

AN UNSEEN ENEMY

“Unseen enemy is the most dangerous enemy” Yes, corona virus has proved
it right. The whole world is fighting with corona virus. Our Prime Minister
Shri Narender Modi has said that where there is a hope there is a way.
Corona virus is killing thousands of people every day. The only way to stop
its deadly game is to break its chain. For this we have to follow some rules
with full determination like…
-Follow social distancing.
-Wash your hands frequently.
-Wear face mask.
-Boost your immunity
This enemy is not only killing us but also our economy. So, to save our
economy Shri Narender Modi has given a vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat”
with a slogan “Vocal for local”. This is the only way left to make our
economy stand up again and defeat this hidden enemy.

LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCE

As we all know we were not aware of lockdown. All shopping malls,
schools, cinema halls, market were closed. We are not allowed to go
out if it is not necessary. We are like locked in our home. We were not
aware of online classes. When lockdown started, I didn’t even touch my
main gate. In the evening all the family members go on the terrace to
walk. In free time my mom and I make a beautiful doll house with the
help of cardboard. My mom also made new dishes like cake,
manchurian, gulabjamun etc. Every day I play snakes and ladders and
ludo with my mom and grandmother. I also help my mom in kitchen. I
have learnt to make tea, chapati and coffee. I learnt to do stone
panting’s, art and craft and drawing. I am missing my friends and
relatives so much. I made videos of different activities given by the
teachers. I have learned so many things in this lockdown period.

POSITIVE SIDES OF LOCKDOWN

Listening of the Covid 19 news! I was really scared and felt nervous but
after talking to my mom and dad, I felt a bit relaxed and better. They told
me about the number of things that can be done during this lockdown
period.
Seeing the positive sides - Clean air, clean sky, clean environment are
perhaps the biggest boons and blessings to each one of us.
During the normal course of life, children follow a regular routine of
going to school and adjusting their remaining time in studies, play and
entertainment. Now with the continuous phase of lockdown in fact, we
all are locked within the four walls.
It is indeed an inconvenience but let's try to look at the other side of the
coin and discover the advantages quarantining has brought into our lives.
The extra time that the children are saving during the lockdown can be
used for a variety of productive and constructive purposes that can help
in their development, academic or otherwise. This can include gardening,
cooking, reading non-curriculum books, doing art and crafts activities,
playing indoor mind games, recycling old clothes and enjoying some DIY
activities.
Each child can practise self-paced learning and enjoy his/her time with
the books.
Now that everyone is at home, no child is feeling the peer pressure.
We are having the best of time by enjoying the day with our family
members and relatives.

COVID -19- A Pandemic

COVID-19 is a highly infectious and rapidly spreading disease caused by 2019 novel
Coronavirus. It causes respiratory illness and spreads by direct contact with
infected person and coughing and sneezing of infected person. When healthy
people are infected, it causes mild disease but in old people and people who have
diseases of heart, kidney, lungs and cancer it causes serious illness and more
chances of death. The first case of coronavirus was reported on 19 December 2019
in Wuhan, China. At that time, the world was not aware about this virus. The
spreading of this virus started from a town in China called Wuhan. When people of
China started travelling internationally, this virus started spreading to other
countries. Many people got infected and many died. The people who were seriously
ill were kept in ICU in hospitals. The burden of infected people increased
tremendously in the hospitals due to rapidly increasing cases of COVID- 19.Doctors
and health workers who were taking care of COVID patients also got infected and
few died. The governments of various countries decided to lockdown. International
trade and travel stopped.
The economic condition of countries was badly affected. China, Italy, America, Iran
and Brazil are some countries which reported maximum cases and deaths due to
COVID-19.
The first case of COVID-19 in India, was reported on 30 January 2020.As of 4 June
2020, the ministry of Health and Family Welfare has confirmed a total of 216,919
cases, 104,107 recoveries and 6,075 deaths in the country. The people who were
COVID positive were isolated and after contact tracing, suspected contacts were
kept in quarantine. On 24 march 2020, the government of India decided to
implement lockdown across the country.
Shopping malls, restaurants, cinema halls and small shops got closed and the
people employed there lost their jobs. During lockdown, poor labourers decided to
go back to their state but they could not go because of no means of transportation..
Many decided to walk hundreds of kilometres on foot but on their way back home
many of them died of hunger and thirst. Children could not go to school because of
lockdown and need to attend online classes. They could not do outdoor activities.
But the positive side of lockdown is that a family has got a chance to spend time
together and work together in this difficult situation.
This pandemic caused loss of lives and economies of the whole world. The
scientists from worldwide are working hard to make a vaccine against this disease.
To prevent the spread of this disease, we should stay at home and go out only when
it is very important. When we go out, we should follow social distancing and wear
masks. We should thank our health workers who are fighting this battle against
COVID -19 by risking their lives. We hope that this pandemic ends soon.

HOME QUARANTINE

Quarantine or home quarantine the worst thing which happened in
everybody’s life including me. Sometimes, I thought why this Corona
virus has come and made our life worst but on the other side, I thank to
God at least during this time we all as a nation are understanding the
problem of others. The families have come closer and spending time
together. On the other hand, we don’t go out in the functions or the
parties together.

Lockdown has made every mother a baker and dad a barber as the
unexpected virus has come in the life of ours. Studying at home through
virtual classes has been equally beneficial for us. Teachers face network
issues still try to resolve our problems until we say that “mam now it is
fine”. We all should pay respect to the Corona Warriors who serve the
nation to make us safe without taking care of that they are more prone to
the disease.

ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT

‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is a great initiative put forward by our Prime
Minister, Narendra Modi. This campaign is initiated to help and raise
Indian economy by using products made in India. India has faced major
economic crisis because of the lockdown imposed due to COVID – 19. But
we have seen that local vendors, products and services helped us to
survive in these difficult times, when all transport services were blocked.
This gives us an idea that it is very important for us to promote and
preserve local skills and products by our own vendors. This will create new
jobs and also encourage local vendors to learn new techniques of
production and thus result in the overall growth of Indian economy. More
usage of brands like Amul, Parle, Mother Dairy, MTR, MDH, Patanjali,
Britannia, Dabur, ITC, Daawat must be encouraged. Our government has
announced a special economic package worth 20 lakh crore to help and
uplift local vendors and businesses.
I support Narendra Modi and will buy more and more local products and
will proudly promote “Make in India”.

TIME FOR EMPATHY NOT APATHY
TOWARDS CORONA WARRIORS

We have clapped for them, lit diyas to salute the bravery shown by our
very own Corona Warriors. But there’s another side to the battle. We saw
multiple instances where Doctors, Policemen and other health workers
were being attacked.

Doctors have been spat at and patients directed abusive and vulgar
language towards health workers. One video, which has gone viral,
showed people throwing stones at two female doctors in the city of
Indore. Some physicians and their families have also been excluded by
their neighbours because of their exposure to patients infected with
Covid-19. A lot of health workers have also complained of lack of PPE kits
available for their own safety.

We must empathise with every doctor, every policeman, and every health
worker who are fighting a bigger battle than the pandemic itself, that is,
the fight against their own fears. We must understand that they are
risking their own lives and are also putting their family members in
danger as well. Government and we, as responsible citizens must
encourage them, thank them and help them and their families in every
possible way. Government must ensure that the health workers are
provided with enough PPE kits and other medical supplies for their
safety.

The time is tough, but only they can help us come out of it victorious.

EXPERIENCE OF CORONA LOCKDOWN

Corona virus is a pandemic and has affected the whole world including
India. Because of this disease, lockdown was started from 22 March 2020.
People can’t come out from their houses because of this lockdown. For this
reason, our classes have been conducted through online platform. Our
teachers have also given us few activities other than studies to keep us
busy. I helped my mother in the household chores. I have made many
paintings and I have used my creativity in them. I have done many science
experiments and I understood the concept. I have also watered the plants
in my garden and took care of them. So ,it has been a new kind of
experience for all.

MY LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCE

Someone has rightly said, “Life is like an ice-cream, enjoy it, before it melts
!!” We all have got this one life and who would want it to spend it all alone
keeping oneself locked, that too in his/her own house. But this tiny virus
Covid-19 has brought the whole world on its knees. Initially, I too was a bit
disappointed but then I decided to overcome this mental block. So, I started
considering this lockdown phase as that beautiful time in which I can
improve my skills.
Every coin has two sides, it’s up to us whether we choose positive or
negative side. For me, it was the time when I learned so many things like
painting and dancing. I helped my mother in dusting, cleaning my
cupboard, arranging bed sheet etc. I learned how to take care of plants and
spend time reading books.
For all of us it is very important to keep our motivation high so that we can
win any hard time. Lockdown has taught us so many things and the most
important thing is that family is very important and with our near and dear
ones even hell becomes heaven. I will always cherish this unique
experience of lockdown and social distancing in my life.

LOCKDOWN DAYS

It is rightly said that we should take the life as it come and live every
moment of it. In these tough days of lockdown, we are forced to live at
home but in some or the other way we are enjoying it. Things which we
were doing before but due to busy life we were not getting time to do,
now those activities are being done, like: cooking, dancing, exercising etc.
This lockdown has given me a chance to enhance my creativity and
writing skills. This phase has also made us realize the importance of
cleanliness and hygiene. The way every coin has two sides. This
lockdown period too has certain pros and cons. This pandemic has
brought down our economy and many people have lost their work. Our
Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi Ji is trying to solve all the problems
and encouraging us to use local goods. If we will purchase local goods
then it will give employment to our people and increase our economy.
Despite all the problems, I am utilizing this time by learning a musical
instrument "Dholak", baking cake and by playing various traditional
games. This deadly virus can lockdown a country but not anyone's spirit
as no one can stop us from exploring and learning.

HOW DID I SPEND

THE LOCKDOWN PERIOD ?

We all know Covid-19 pandemic is spreading throughout the world. Many
countries including India went into lockdown. We were advised to stay
inside home to keep ourselves safe. So, I thought that “How will I go outside
and have fun?”, “How will I play with my friends?”, “How will I go to
school?”. But I decided to think positively and got many ideas for what
should I do. I decided to have a good time with my family. I did many
exciting and amazing activities at home. I made many crafts items like
paper fire extinguisher using a bottle and a working elevator using a string
and a box. I also made a paper racing car using my toy car motor. I played
chess with my mother and always win using bishop and knight. I played
badminton also with her. My mother taught me to cook poha. I just need
some practice in measuring how much spices I have to use. I helped my
mother in making different shaped samosas. I made a dip using
mayonnaise and sauce. I named it ‘Mayoce.’ I got more time to take care of
my grandmother. I learnt many things in maths from her. She is very strict
but she loves me a lot. I made many pencil sketches like statue maker,
Vishnu Vishwa Avatar, war scenes, swimming pool, under sea scene, Shivaji
Maharaj and many more. In the lockdown period, initially I missed school
but when I got the message about online classes I jumped with excitement.
Now, I didn’t have to think what should I do now. Thanks to our Principal
for arranging online classes for us. I am really thankful to have teachers
who worked hard for us. I think that our teachers are Corona warriors too
who work for children’s education in lockdown period restlessly. They
taught us each and every thing in an interesting way using power point
presentations and videos that helped us in learning subjects more easily.
They also gave us ten to fifteen minutes at the end of the sessions to ask
our doubts to ensure that every child understood the chapter or the topic
well. In this way I made best use of lockdown period by doing fun activities,
attending online classes, spending great time with my family and keeping
myself safe by staying at home.

LOCKDOWN

Lockdown is implemented to save people’s lives during an epidemic or
pandemic. All the services are banned except the emergency services
,schools, colleges, factories; electrical shops are all shut down during
lockdown. Hospitals, clinics, grocery stores will stay open during
lockdown fire departments , electrical departments and petrol pumps
will also continue to work. As there is no vaccine for this disease
lockdown was the option for many countries. Functions which involve
huge crowds are not allowed. Although the lockdown has been
implemented to save people’s lives and prevent the spread of covid-19 it
has made a bad influence on the economy of the world. Many poor people
are facing difficulty earning their daily bread because of unemployment.
Our combined efforts will help eradicate the disease.

REVERSE MIGRATION

Migration means when people from a place moves to another place in
search of work. COVID-19 pandemic lockdown has resulted in a grave
situation, i.e., ‘reverse migration’. To control spread of this disease the
government of India had imposed a nationwide complete lockdown
since 21 March 2020. All economic activities had to stood still due to
which these migratory workers became jobless and faced many
problems relating to lack of basic requirements like food and shelter.
They were left with no other option except to return to their home. The
magnitude of this reverse migration is so large that it has surpassed the
migration at time of India – Pakistan partition. The government is
trying to prevent this reverse migration by providing them food and
shelter. At various places quarantine centers have been established but
all efforts b y government and N.G.Os have been proved insufficient.
This reverse migration has led to tremendous problems and tragedies
example, road accidents, railway track accidents, starvation and above
all has increased the spread of COVID-19 infection raising a big
question mark on the central government decisions and efforts.

LOCKDOWN EXPERIENCE

To prevent the spread of covid 19, the government of our country locked
down and advised people to stay at home. Our school was closed so that
we could avoid the virus. In this lock down I learned many new things. I
learned to study through online classes from home for the first time. All
the teachers helped us in our studies and explained all the topics very
well. I did not feel that our leave was going on. I spent quality time with
my family during this time. I have my mother, father and elder brother
at my house. My father is a doctor in AIIMS. He has to go to the hospital
every day. I like that my father is helping the needy people. My mother is
a homemaker; she also taught me some new things while staying at
home. I also helped her in her household work. My elder brother is
preparing for IIT. My brother helps me in studies. Both of us play
together and help in household chores.
This is a very difficult time for some people. People have to go through a
lot of trouble. During this lockdown all other shops were closed except
for the items of essential goods. The means of transport such as buses,
rail etc. were also closed. I and my parents experienced the lock down
for the first time. All the people supported the lock down and made it
successful.

CORONA EPIDEMIC

Through TV / radio / newspapers, etc. we saw, heard and read about
the corona disease that people of many countries got infected with, and
many died. Corona or Covid-19 is a respiratory infectious disease that
spreads to others through the corona virus coming into contact with an
infected person or object, gradually affecting our respiratory system,
which can also lead to death. Therefore the government of our country
implemented a lockdown to prevent and control its infection in the
country. During this lockdown, school holidays took place and our
evacuation also stopped. During this time, I learned many uses of
computers and mobile phones such as - studying online and learning
new dance steps from team app, zoom app, whats app, youtube etc.
Apart from this, I spent time with family members, in which I sat with
everyone and had dinner together, played antakshari, listened to the
experiences of elders. It gave the family a chance to get to know and
love and harmonise among themselves. Along with this, most of the
tasks were also learned to be done at home, and to live with limited
resources.
Corona is spread by contact with an infected person or object. There is a
high risk of it in crowded places.
There is no cure or treatment of Corona yet, and its prevention is the
only cure. So, in crowded places, in public places, at work places, when
exiting the house, put a mask on the mouth and maintain social distance
from others, follow the government orders and instructions.
While the environment has benefited from the lockdown caused by this
corona epidemic, we have got a lot of new situations and new directions
to be prepared to deal with them, it has also lost many lives.
We will always remember this time of corona and lockdown.
