and a Ph.D. in public administration
from the University of California. His
literary and military awards and ac-
complishments include three Literary
Guild selections, the Fairchild Safety
Trophy, a Silver Anvil, a Legion of
Merit, and the Medal of Honor from
the Republic of Vietnam.
