Differentiating Solution Bluing Reagent
IMEB’s Differentiating Solution is a standard formulation IMEB’s Bluing Reagent is buffered to ensure the proper
of hydrochloric acid in denatured alcohol. Its alkalinity (pH=8.0). Our Bluing Reagent requires only
reproducible batch results allow for consistent staining a 1 minute rinse in water versus conventional bluing

Mounting Medium
Tek-Select® Clear PermaSlip Mounting Medium
25% Acrylic Resin in Toluene.
Our Mounting Medium is a toluene-based rapid drying mounting medium. It is miscible with all
clearing agents including xylene substitutes. This mounting medium is optically clear and will not
cause fading of stains even after prolonged storage. Mounting Medium is packaged in two
configurations for convenience. This includes a new plastic squeeze bottle with a
twist-open/twist-close cap.

Toluene based Clear AcrySlip is a rapid-drying mounting medium that allows almost immediate
screening of slides. It has viscosity that enables easy flow of the medium. It also prevents
formation and trapping of air bubbles.
Clear Acryslip contains antioxidants inhibiting stain fading and preventing formation of
annual rings. A thin coating of Acryslip is enough to adhere a coverglass to a microscope slide.
It is soluble in xylene, toluene and xylene substitutes.

IMEB offers a versatile, durable corrugated Cardboard box construction
that is strong yet light weight and moisture resistant with special
wax coating. The files offer a less expensive option to metal and
plastic storage filing system. Boxes can be purchased pre-assembled
or unassembled. Added outer corrugated shell acts as a stabilizer in
keeping units stacked together over a long period of time. Each box
section accommodates 2,000 microscope slides or 500 cassettes. Total

kit is hygienically sealed in a perforated tear open plastic bag which
allows easy access to the slide for the pap smear procedure. A convenient
non-aersol pump spray fixative is provided with every box of twenty five
kits. Spray fixative has proven to be more effective for saturation of the
specimen. An easy to assemble slide folder will expedite the preparation
for the laboratory. The laboratory will also find that the slide holder
will allow for easier removal with less breakage. Kits are packaged
