Helping Hands YEG Magazine Issue 1
Helping Hands was created by a group of people bound together by a shared tragedy. We have chosen to honour the life of a young man taken from us far too early by using his love for automotives as a platform to encourage people, particularly youth, to speak about mental health and demonstrate care for one another. Helping Hands Car Show is providing us with the chance to achieve many worthy goals; chief among them is delivering the message that talking about mental health is vital in our community, particularly with youth to facilitate talks about mental health, to support one another, and help rid us all of the stigma associated with these difficult conversations. Our chief objective being to raise money for families in crisis with a focus on suicide prevention.
