THE STORY OF THE TWO KITES

Once there was a boy named Peter. He had had two kites and he used to
fly them on every windy day. The two kites were very fond of him as he
took great care of them. One kite was blue in colour and the other was
pink .Peter used to play with a boy called John. John envied Peter, as he
loved the look of the kites. One fine day Peter was playing with his kites.
He rushed home as his mother called him urgently. Now, John was
seeing everything that was happening. He quietly crept into the garden
and took the blue kite. Peter was just coming from his house, when he
saw that the blue kite was missing! Peter started crying, as he loved the
kite dearly. His mother came rushing towards him and then he told the
whole story to his mother. Peter’s mother calmed him down and gave
him a cup of hot cocoa. In the meantime, the pink kite started searching
for the blue kite. The pink kite knew the way to John’s house as Peter
often took him there. The pink kite slipped inside the gate and found
the blue kite there, sobbing miserably. The pink kite was very wise. He
quickly tied the strings of both the kites together and flew out of the
house. Peter came out of his house and stared in surprise at both the
kites lying there. In the meantime, John was astonished to find the blue
kite missing. He rushed to Peter’s house and told him the whole story,
as he was very angry. Peter understood the matter and let John go
home. The next day Peter decided to teach John a lesson. He went to
John’s house and took his favourite video game. The next day John
found his things missing and suddenly understood his mistake. He went
to Peter and apologized. Peter let him go but he still could not
understand how the blue kite was lying in his garden smiling. You please
don’t tell him the story, let him find it out on his own!

PARENTS

Parents are teachers, they teach
They are not preachers, but they preach
Parents teach us new things
They inspire us and give us wings
Whenever we do something wrong, they tell us what is right
For instance, whenever we get angry, they tell us not to fight.
Parents always take care of us.
But when they tell us to do something we don’t like, we make a fuss
It is very difficult for parents to calm us down
They make our face smile when there is a frown

When we have any flaws, our parents try to correct them
If it wasn’t for them, we couldn’t have survived in this realm
Parents are our best friends
Its fun to spend time with them on weekends
Its our parents whom we can trust
No wall between our parents can ever rust
You inspire us and let our imagination soar
We love you, we thank you, we admire you to the core

Traffic

Traffic, traffic what is traffic
It is like a game graphic
But it is real, this traffic
Traffic, traffic makes so much noise
I feel it might break your toys
Like that motor train and wind up boy
Everyone thinks we are making progress
Like when we invented the printing press
But the truth is, we don’t get any rest
Have you seen the traffic on the roads?
Oh, there’s rubbish and rubbish, there’s loads
You might thing how can be so near our adobes
One day superman came this way
When he got there, he ran away
Holding his nose, he cried out, ‘’may good Lord save the day.’’
So now you have seen the truth with your own eyes
Everyday you see the rubbish but you won’t be surprised
Because these dirty roads, this traffic has become a part of our
everyday lives.
