I am very thankful for you all hard work and the time and skills you show the kids
every day. As a Day Care Business, we must achieve and show positive mannerism because
there are little kids looking up to us and following our footsteps. Every single one of our
employee’s are very diligent and well mannered. Sunny Day Care have made and will
continue to make more bigger impacts within the community by helping our youth
educational wise and supporting them mentally and physically. It is very important for us
to check our employees records to make sure that our kids wouldn’t be around any bad
influences, we always do daily visits to make sure that every kid in every class room is well
behaved and is okay. Being the owner of this business helped me realize that if we all play
a role in the society we can make a change by leading the younger youth to a brighter
future.

MISSION STATEMENT
As the C.E.O. of Sunny Day Care, we are on a mission to making the youth happy and well
reminded that they are all gifted and smart no matter what others may say or think.
• Our company is based around kids feeling loved and being well taught about there
manners and education. Every child that walks threw that door will leave with a
smile because of how loved they felt and the cool thing’s that they have learned.
• We always make sure that the kids have fun by planning fun activities and trips
that the kids will enjoy. Our employees will be well mannered and will have patience
while dealing with the kids.
• Our company monitors our employee’s behavior we make sure that every child is
being treated fair and kind by our employees.
• Sunny Day Care does fundraisers every month to show the kids that being kind is
very important and makes the world a better place.
DRESS CODE POLICY
➢ All of our employees will have to follow a dress code. We want the very best for our
employees because they represent our company. A few don’ts that employees will
have to follow is (crop tops, Shirts that promote gang violence or and use of drugs,
and any shirts that has any inappropriate actions or saying will not be allowed. If
any employee comes to work wearing a outfit that is against dress code will be sent
home.
➢ Our employee’s will be allowed to wear opened toed shoes and clothes that is well
fitted. On Friday’s are employees will have to wear our school colors which is a
yellow or blue top with blue jeans.
CELL PHONE POLICY
• Each one of our employees will be allowed to have access to their phones only if
there is any emergency.
• Employees who use the email and computer provided for any inappropriate use will
immediately be fired.
• We do not want any of our students exposed to any sexual content or bad behavior.
• We will know what our employees do on the internet and computers provided
because we will have access to see the things that they look up or say. We always
check the searches on the computers every week to make sure that nothing
unprofessional have been viewed.
• Our employees are allowed to use the school internet for personal use as long as it is
for an appropriate reason.
Breaks & Pay Day
➢ Our employee’s will have breaks monthly because of holiday breaks. We are very
understanding when it comes to our employees they will only be allowed to miss
work 3 times a month depending on their excuse or what they have going on
personally.
➢ Our employees will receive their pay check at the beginning of every month. If any
employee has a question or a problem with their paycheck or being excused from
work will be allowed to contact me at [email protected] .
Sunny Daycare will be close during the following days
• Labor Day (3 days)
• Summer break (2 months)
• Martin Luther King Day (1 day)
• Thanksgiving (2 weeks)
• Christmas Day (3 weeks)
• School hours will remain the same 8am – 2pm (Monday-Friday)
• After 2pm there will be Campus Kids that will end at 6pm
Sexual Harassment
• *If any of our employees have been touched or talked to in a way that made them
feel uncomfortable they will be able to contact us at our email or come to our office at
any time.
• We do not tolerate any type of Sexual Harassment from our employees they will be
placed on leave until further notice.
• There will also be two employees in each room with a class to make sure that nobody
is making another person feel uncomfortable or touching them in a way that isn’t
okay.
• We always remind our staff and students “if you see something say something” to
prevent any misbehaviors from happening.
SMOKING POLICY
• *Our employees will NOT be allowed to smoke because that will cause a lot of kids to
be around that bad smell and they could possibly come to work high and If our kids
see anything lie that happening they will think that is cool and okay and we want to
better our students not lead them down the wrong path.
• Our employees will be required to take a drug test once a month.
LUNCH & BREAK POLICY
• Our employees have a 30-minute lunch break so that they will have enough time to
eat and anything else they need to do.
• Any employee’s that goes over there break for 4 or more days will need to be excused
to let their coworkers know so that they can cover for their class.
• If one of our employee’s was to leave for a break during class they must notify the
front office and a teacher so that they can watch their student’s while they are
absent.
