The holy Rav author of HaFela'ah, one of the Geonim of recent generations and one of
the first Tzaddikim of Chassidus, one of the greatest disciples of the Maggid of Mezeritch
with his holy brother the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmelkeh of Nikolsburg, the friend of the holy
Rav Ba'al HaTanya who said rare things about him in a letter he sent him:

A sheet with 15 editings and innovations on Tractate Ta'anis handwritten by the Gaon

MaranRabbi Akiva Eiger of Posna

which he sent in a letter to favorite and beloved grandson the Gaon Rabbi
Naftali Hirsch Bleicher, the son-in-law of his eldest son the Gaon Rabbi
Avraham Eiger.

This is a pure sheet of paper handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger, a response
letter to his grandson the great Gaon Rabbi Naftali Hirsch Bleicher Av Beis Din of
Vilehn the son-in-law of his eldest son Rabbi Avraham Eiger of Ravitch, who was
dearly beloved by his grandfather who called him 'My beloved son-in-law', a disciple
of the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger when he was still in Freedland and who, even before he
became his grandson, his son's son-in-law, Rabbi Akiva Eiger wrote of him that he is
"my friend as son".

The editings and innovations were printed, with lingual variations and re-editing, by the
Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger's sons the great Geonim Rabbi Avraham and Rabbi Shlomo, in
the Sefer 'Drush VeChidush' leaf 13. This is the original leaf with his concise editings
and innovations handwritten by the Gaon Maran Rabbi Akiva Eiger.

A manuscript letter with fifteen lines and on its back, the name of its receiver

It is common knowledge that owning a holy manuscript by Maran Rabbi Akiva
Eiger is a Segulah for protection and livelihood and learning from the manuscript
is a Segulah for Yiras Shamayim, as noted by the holy Gaon author of Avnei
Nezer of Sochatchov that his Seforim smell of Yiras Hashem. Every word and
letter by the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger was studied by our Rabbis transmitter of
the teachings as the teachings of one of the Rishonim.
The leaf is placed in an elegant ancient leather binder inlaid with gold, befitting
a manuscript by Rabbi Akiva Eiger, with a full deciphering of the manuscript,
its background and importance. The leaf is professionally restored. 20X18 cm.
Strong and readable ink. Very good condition.

Jerusalem, 1864. Written on the leaf is an
additional letter from 1853 and a list of
donors and donations. With the signatures
of the greatest rabbis of Jerusalem, stamps
and a wax seal stamp.
Rabbi Nachman Nosson Coronel (1810-
1890) - a disciple of the greatest rabbis of
Amsterdam and Hague. In 1830 settled in
Safed. Due to the earthquake of 1837, he
moved to Jerusalem. Studied at the Beis El
Kabbalists Yeshiva and served as a Shadar
for raising funds abroad for supporting
yeshivas and Torah scholars in Jerusalem.
In 1864 was one of the founders of 'Batei
Machasseh" in the Old City of Jerusalem.
During his travels abroad, he collected manuscripts, conducted studies
on the versions of the Talmud and edited and prepared manuscripts
by the Rishonim for printing. Authored several Seforim including
"Beis Nosson", "Zecher Nosson" and "Chamisha Kuntrasim".
Fold marks and short tears along the fold lines, gluings, aging
stains, good condition.

Pinkas [ledger] of the Chevra Kadisha Reshis Tov given as a gift on Erev Sabbath Kodesh of
Seder Asher Bercho Hashem by the honorable philanthropist Michl ben Yosef Bramet [1874].
[12] leaves, of them [22] written pages, scribal script on vellum. Mounted on leaf [5] is a prayer
for King William III of Netherlands, the Queen and the Heiress (Wilhelmina, later the Queen
of the Netherlands). The leaf was written between 1884, when Wilhelmina was appointed
heiress, and 1890, when her father King William III died.
Renewed binding, loose spine, wear to the mounted paper leaf, aging stains, good-very good
