JACOB BIGGERS

I am very grateful for Leanne. I met Leanne at a conference in St.
George. I was so nervous and afraid to be there. I had never been to
anything like this and I was struggling with many aspects of my life. I
was kind of hiding out at the back of this conference room, when
Leanne came and approached me. She welcomed me and showed
me love and kindness even though I was just a random stranger. She
introduced me to her daughter Kimber as well as a few others and
got me opening up and making friends. That weekend was profound
for me and was life changing in so many wonderful ways and it may
not have been had Leanne not came and showed me such love and
kindness and got me to open up a little bit. I am so grateful for her
and so many others I met that weekend. ❤❤️ ️❤️

SIERRA COPELAND

Leanne has been a good friend to me, especially in my teenage
years when I lived in Hurricane and was able to spend more time
with Jenna and her family. I look up to Leanne for being a
strong-willed woman who stands up for what she believes in. I will
always remember Leanne for being a woman I could look up to for
her loving acceptance of all the people in her life. One of my favorite
memories of Leanne is when she was directing a Broadway Magic
dance that I was in to "I Need a Hero." How she dealt with all of us
middle schoolers I will never know...

Love you Leanne & Happy Birthday!

Sierra Copeland

DESIREE WHITEHEAD

You are such an amazing being. I am amazed at the truth and beauty
that you share with us every day. I love you! Thank you for being
you!!

DANIELLE

I have loved having you teach classes. You are so knowledgeable
about anything you teach. Also having you as a choir director in
church. You are a fantastic leader. Love you and your energy!

JEDEDIAH STOUT

Leanne! The first time we had a conversation many years ago, I knew
I had found a deep-thinking sister. We've spent years exploring
profound topics together and have dived even deeper with Danny
and Nicole into explorations of truth. Thank you for being such a
dear friend, a kind person, an intelligent conversationalist, a
courageous soul and all around cool person.

I love you my friend!

Jed

KELBIE SORENSEN

I love you Leanne. You are a joy & a light in this world. I have a lot of
fond memories of you. I really enjoyed coming to your home and
teaching you yoga. You have such a strong and resilient body. It was
fun to watch you and see your determination. My fondest memories
are with you at Kimber’s retreats- particularly the reclaiming sexuality
retreat. I loved how quickly you were to ask questions and ask
peoples thoughts and share your own experiences. Your vulnerability
is powerful. It allows others to feel comfortable do open up also. You
are so so fun. I loved dancing burlesque with you!! I love your
competitive nature and also your soft nurturing love that you have so
easily for others. I always feel like a million bucks when I’m with you.
I love you, my friend. Happy happy birthday!

MURNA TRUMP

MAGGIE

Almost the moment I met you, I knew you were someone I'd love to
get to know more. I remember talking with you at Jenny
Chamberlain's book club and thinking, "What a gem." I love your
candid way of examining the world, and your tenacity at holding onto
ideas that call to you. When I first moved to Hurricane in 2013, my
Payson friend Paula Standifird told me I should get to know her
family down here. She never gave me names, so I quickly forgot to
follow through with her idea. But that book club evening, when we
realized our Payson connection, I remembered Paula. I couldn't help
but feel that she was pulling strings from wherever her vantage point
is now, making sure I got to meet you and enjoy all the good you
bring into the world. I really enjoy every time we get together. Here's
to many more!

Love,

Maggie Maxfield

BARBARA HATHCOCK

I love Leanne’s smile when she sees me. She always makes me feel
like she is sooooo glad to see me, even when we only see each
other once in a blue moon!

LAURICE WILLIAMSON

I didn’t even know her, but reached out when i got a new teaching
job. She was incredibly helpful and generous sharing lesson ideas
and supplies. Not only did she go above and beyond wanting to
help, she was just so spunky and fun to talk to!

MARYN

I've always felt that Leanne has a gift for truly seeing people. It's this
magic ability to be her authentic self and as a result, create space
for others to be their authentic selves too. Simply magical: that's
Leanne. Happy Birthday! Thanks for being you.

MARISSA TWITCHELL

Hi Leanne! You are the kind of person who lights up and room and I
always feel safe and have a good time with you! One of my many
favorite moments with you was when we took Kimber out to
celebrate her birthday and blind folded her and tried to pretend the
car wasn’t full of all of her friends. If I remember right there was
some sort of Santa convention at the restaurant you picked! You
have fun and creative ideas! I’m proud to call you one of my friends!

AMY MACKAY

Leanne is someone you can tell anything to. There’s no judgement,
just a listening ear that will give it to you straight. I remember
Leanne calling me for what she thought was probably going to be a
two minute call but she asked me how I was doing. Things weren’t
great and I was struggling. Our conversation lasted almost two hours.
She heard me out, she gave me advice and she made me feel seen
and heard. Leanne is someone I know I could turn to if I ever
needed anything, not to mention she’s so much fun to be around.
Happy Birthday, here’s to more adventures and many more laughs!

AMANDA HATCH

You took me in like I was family right from the start. I have always felt
so loved and welcomed by you. You have an amazing personality! I
feel so lucky to know you!

JANNA GIFFORD IV

Life doesn’t get any better than lazily bobbing along in a sparkling
swimming pool and talking about the meaning of life. I love you,
Leannikan! I would write more but Lols won’t let me.

LOLENE GIFFORD

I have loved Leanne ever since I first clapped eyes on her. She was
like a shining star, a flame of passion, talent, and grand ideas. She
inspired me to be better, to do better, and to laugh in the process. I
adopted her as my little sister. As we got to know each other better,
we found out that our kids liked each other, too. They had the same
wicked senses of humor. They were smart, talented, and sometimes
slightly wacky and a tad weird…so therefore, FUN! We liked to do
things with the Worwood family. We got together for some
memorable sing-a-longs at Christmas time, singing four-part harmony
and drinking wassail. In the summers, after they built their new home,
there was the pool. And the apricot and cherry trees. And Jared
making German pancakes with buttermilk syrup and bringing it out
to the poolside for us hungry swimmers. And the talk…the incessant
talk. So many memories.

Leanne and I worked together as teachers at Hurricane Intermediate
School, and then again at Water Canyon in Hildale, Utah. That was

Leanne’s fault. I was in Colorado visiting my daughters one summer
break, when I got an urgent phone call. It was Leanne. “How would
you like to have a grand adventure and go teach out at Hildale with
me?” WHAT? We talked and talked and then talked some more…and
when we were finished, we decided we could conquer the world of
education for the youth of Hildale as an unbeatable team. I loved
our time commuting together, discussing anything and everything,
laughing and crying, and solving education’s woes. It was sheer fun.
And backbreaking work. But I loved it because it was with my best
friend.

Leanne, you are the epitome of following your dreams with a
passion. You are feisty, witty, talented, and wise…a tap-dancing
wizard, a Shakespeare fiend, and I will always love you. You are the
kind of friend that I might not see for months…and yet I will feel
totally comfortable with when we do hook up. I love you, you
fabulous woman!!!
