An introduction to our group

Alexanders Horseboxes was created as a sister company to Alexanders Prestige, after founder Alexander tried to buy
a horsebox with his wife, and thought both the product and experience could be better. Having established high
expectations for customer service through Alexanders Prestige, he felt there was a gap in the equine market for high
quality vehicles, made by a firm with a fastidious attention to detail and an interest in people. Now, the company
has its own range, designed in-house, and is known across the world.
The company also sells the luxurious flagship range, Lehel by Alexanders. Working together with the Hungarian
coachbuilder, which traces its roots to the early 1900s, Alexanders is proud to offer a range of the most beautiful and
luxurious horseboxes in the world.
Meanwhile, Alexanders Prestige, a specialist selling and buying sports, prestige and 4x4 cars, is known across the
UK and indeed the world for its exemplary standards and customer service. Alexanders Prestige was born out of a
belief that the experience of buying and selling a car could be better: the experience should be personal; the prod-
uct should be faultless. The company was created by Alexander Brimelow and Andrew North, who had each been
working in the automotive industry for a number of years. Together, they set about making Alexanders what is to
today, with an emphasis on people, quality and being the best. Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire, has been our home
since the creation of the company in 2005.
Alexanders takes pride in being able to guide each and every one of its customers, whether new or returning,
through every part of vehicle ownership - the buying, financing, servicing and selling - all from under one roof.
Alexanders is also the parent company to Harvey Cooper Cars, based in Ripon near to our base in Boroughbridge.
Harvey Cooper shares the same values as the rest of the Alexanders Group and specialises in premium vehicles for
a wide range of budgets - starting from sporty superminis, up to executive saloons and refined SUVs.
Whatever brings you to us, our aim is to make the process as easy and enjoyable for you as possible. We’re always

All of our hides undergo a traditional tanning process, giving them a rich, mature leather aroma. Only then is each
