Please Read the No Mobile Phone in School
text

Recently most people own mobile phone.

Why does mobile phone user increase

dramatically in recent years? First, the feature and

functions has increased. Mobile phone is not used

just for calling, but sending text, taking pictures,

recording videos, accessing internet, playing

games and much more. Second, mobile phone has

also become a lot cheaper. Now this

communication device does not only fill the

pocket of adult but also teenager and student.

Even a lot phones are intentionally designed to

teenaged market. However should they be Source : solopos
allowed to bring them to school?

Many schools do not allow students to bring cell phones to school. It is

very reasonable because bringing phone to school potentially disrupts the

learning process. Most students use cell phones irresponsibly. They use cell

phones to talk to their friend during class time. They also use the calculator

and camera features in the class as well. Those potentially lead less

concentration in the time of learning and teaching process.

Students go to school to learn and behave fair way. Mobile phones
provide a large temptation to cheat in tests. They can communicate to anyone
and almost anywhere in the world. Because of the small size of the cell phone,
students can send a text quietly and discreetly. The text can go unnoticed
anywhere to get help on answering tests, homework, and other class
assignment. Learning in school is to behave fair not cheating.

Therefore, schools should ban students from Difficult words
bringing their cell phones. However it should be Quietly : Diam-Diam
done fairly. In case of an emergency some student Discreetly : Diam-Diam
need a call for help, providing easy access to phone

Besides the physical disorder, the psychological condition of drug addicts also

● Lets practice, this is a structure you must compose

into a good text
● Fill the answer on the next page

Title Don’t Use Drugs for Any Reason

Please imagine that death cases of drugs start from small things like 1
addiction to drugs, it brings you have a significant impact on your
body, the Minister of Health said drugs cause disturbance to the
organs in our body. More specifically, drugs interfere with the
performance of the brain and kidneys and even blood circulation to
our heart. Drug consumption continuously causes addiction and
brings destruction to the healthy; as a result, hallucinations cause
decreased consciousness, memory loss and impact physical
disturbances and drastic weight loss. In addition, the worst effects of
drug use are heart attack, dehydration, nervous disorders, overdose,
and death.

Secondly, in terms of religion, the use of drugs is strictly

prohibited in all religions. Drugs are illegal stuff that is

forbidden to be used because they cause damage to the

2 body and mind of humankind. They feel worried about
their life because drug users are people who violate

religious norms that exist in every religion. Teenagers who

use drugs are people who can trigger criminal acts, which

are prohibited in religion.

Therefore, the teenager should carefully stay away from friends or 3
people as drugs user. However, in case of the increasing number of
drug users, teenagers need to attend counselling from the government
about drug abuse, so they know how dangerous the use of drugs that
are misused can cause various negative impacts. Let's stay away from
drugs by saying no to drugs, And people who have been addicted to the
drugs must stop using them by finding a doctor to get rehabilitation.

19 | Hortatory exposition Irvan Nurrudin

In addition, crime cases also provide an enormous temptation for 4
teenagers; in terms of society, it’s almost related to religion, the teenager
is an easy target for illegal acts like drug transactions. Drugs are also a
significant factor destroying the future and life of a teenager. Drug use is
characteristic that can ruin the younger generation. Drugs affect the
increase in crime such as increasing dealers and users, murder, and theft
so that it disturbs the society and the younger generation. Drug users do
anything to get illegal things like drugs, which is a factor in increasing the
criminal cases around the community. Illicit drug abuse is a severe
violation of government regulations that carries a prison sentence.

Nowadays, drug users increase dramatically, and every year
thousands of people are killed by the drug. Drug case is a big
problem for the country and the future. The drug contains addictive

5 substances and other dangerous materials for the health of our

bodies, especially for the bodies of teenagers. However,
medications are circulated a lot and are easy to find in various
levels of society, from top to bottom or from artists to the
community; they can become targets of drug abuse.

The factors can make the younger generation drug abuse because of the lack
of parental supervision and the promiscuity of young people in this era. Other
factors causing the younger generation to abuse drugs include household
factors from their families. Some cases are also their desire to find their
identity by using medications together with their friends. Many cases of drug
abuse also start from the environment, such as the lack of monitoring of the
environment by the government it makes easier for dealers to circulate illegal
drugs. Some teenagers are victims of drug abuse and may tend to ignore the
dangers and disadvantages of some aspects resulting from drug use.

Implementing Health Protocols in the midst of Pandemic

People are starting to abandon the habit

of wearing masks and keeping their distance

amid the pandemic that has been going on for

nearly nine months. Is it okay to ignore the

health protocols? The answer is absolutely

no. We should keep obeying the health

protocols because the pandemic is not over Source: unair

yet.
In the early pandemic, most of the people are discipline in obeying

the health protocols such as wearing mask, washing hands, and keeping

a distance. These days, there is a pandemic fatigue where people are tired

of being restricted for months in this pandemic.Secondly, the

coronavirus mutates quickly causing an increase in the number of cases

of variant covid 19, every single month cases a raised with a new variant.

It makes society choose to ignore the protocol during new normal. In the

early pandemic, they are afraid because the covid 19 was found as the

first case pandemic in 2019.

38 | Hortatory exposition Irvan Nurrudin

However, this phenomenon cannot be a reason for us to ignore the
health protocols. It is because there is no cure yet which to combat the
ferocity of the coronavirus. The most important thing that we can do is
stick to health protocols so that we can break the chain of virus spread.

In addition, CDC or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
recommends us to wear mask since it can prevent us from getting or
spreading the virus.

Therefore, we need to continue to protect ourselves from exposure
to the virus for the good of ourselves and others. To overcome fatigue
in the midst of a pandemic, we can try to keep in touch with the people
closest to us so that we do not feel bored. We should remember that
everyone can be exposed to viruses and vaccines still cannot be used,
so it is important to always implement health protocols, especially when
there is an urgent matter that requires us to leave the house.
