LETTERFROM THECOMMISSIONERLETTERFROM THEIt was another great year in BTBLE, and thanks to the addition of a Superflex slotwe had a slew of new scoring records, including the two highest season pointtotals and four highest single-game scores in league history (among them the first200-point game). One of those four single-game scores was in the championship, where your Lord,God, and Commissioner finally broke through and won it all for the first time in adecade, expunging some of the frustration of five straight first round exits. Our new member Conor was a great addition, having completed a solid 23 tradesas of this writing as he reshapes his franchise according to his own design. With the five-year soft change freeze now in effect, the league has reached apeak point of maturity where I shockingly don’t feel the need to tweak or changeanything. Next year the last big change, Tight End Premium, comes online but forthe short term, 2026 should be very similar to 2025.So with all that said, here’s to another fun year of huge games, trades, heartbreak, and all the rest. If you had had a kid the same year we started thisleague, that kid would now be in high school as we enter Year 15 (!) of Basicallythe Best League Ever. Good luck gentlemen, and enjoy Volume 4 of BTBNE.Evan S.Commissioner of BTBLEand GM of the Sister KissersMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 03
MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 04If you’ll recall, the 2023 draft saw the 1.02 tradedhours before the draft and the 2024 edition followedsuit about an hour into the draft when the Teamtraded a boatload of assets to acquire the playerpicked at 1.02 (Caleb Williams). The 2025 draft alsohad its fireworks beforehand, with the Kisserssecuring the 1.01 about a month before the draft. That said, the draft itself certainly didn’t lack foraction. It didn’t break the record of 10 trades set in2024, but it had a solid eight including four beforethe first round was even done.Fantasy Loveland (previously known as IMT) was theteam that traded the 1.01 and as part of that deal theygot the 1.03 and 1.09. They didn’t end up makingeither of those picks, trading the 1.03 and the 1.07 toNMNP for the 1.04 and 1.05. Then they traded the1.09 to the Kissers along with a 2026 second for the2.01 and the 2.05. The Kissers then traded the 1.09to Brock to the Future (previously Go Birds) alongwith Kirk Cousins for the 1.10 and 2.10. Got all that?Astute readers will note the Kissers were involved inmany of these trades. They were truly in their bag, making four trades during the draft (not including thepre-draft trade for the 1.01).The biggest steals of the draft were likely (in noparticular order) Colston Loveland at 2.03 (AJRR),Luther Burden at 2.08 (Sister Kissers), Tyler Shoughat 3.05 (Wagons), Harold Fannin at 3.10 (the Team),and Kyle Monangai at 4.04 (Sad’s Lucky Buck). As for busts, Kaleb Johnson at 1.10 (Cookin’ withLove) and Jack Bech at 1.12 (Loveland) take the cake. The Draft TradesBack in 2023 we had 16 pre-draft trades, then nine in2024. This time around we had a whopping 19,fueled by new manager Conor as well as SundayFunday embarking on Basically the Best Rebuild Everand selling off nearly every asset. As mentioned, the draft itself saw eight trades. Afterthe draft, things heated up with 27 trades before theseason began, three more than in 2024. As alwaysthe Kissers and the Wagons led the way, with theKissers involved in 14 trades and the Wagonsinvolved in eight (with four trades between those twoteams), but Fantasy Loveland (nine trades) and AJRR(eight) also put in work.We didn’t have quite the blockbusters we did in the2024 preseason, but we still had notable namestraded, among them Kyren Williams, Brock Purdy, AJBrown, Colston Loveland, Cam Skattebo, and RJHarvey. As usual, the actual season saw the most activity with31 trades, slightly down from 2024's 38. The biggestfireworks were right off the bat when the Kissersmoved AJ Barner and two 2026 firsts for TylerWarren, and two days later traded Warren and two2028 firsts for Trey McBride. While it was an insaneamount to pay for one player, McBride did lap everyother tight end in production and played a huge partin the Kissers securing the top seed and winning thechampionship, so at the end of the day...worth.Last year we only saw one trade during the playoffsbut this year the Wagons went ham, making fourthemselves. Ultimately they came up short, and theleague did not implode either. So far so good on notrade deadline.THE 2025 SEASON
MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 05And that left two: the Wagons and the Sister Kissers. Thechampionship ended up being a rollercoaster ofemotions. On Thursday Jared Goff scored just 2.08 for theWagons, putting them behind the 8-ball. Then onSaturday Derrick Henry went off for 45.6, putting theWagons back in the driver’s seat. But on Sunday (andlater Monday) their remaining players struggled, while theKissers got 32.44 from Drake Maye among other solidperformances before Bijan Robinson salted thechampionship away with 37.4 on Monday Night Football. All hail the King!Championship2025 PlayoffsThe previous three years the bye week team was brutal inWeek 15, but the Kissers scored a robust 157 on theirweek off, narrowly missing a high score. That high score went to the Sell Outs, got 40 points fromKyle Pitts on Thursday. The Buck didn’t give up andactually sent a 2026 first for Michael Wilson. They cameup just short, losing 165.16-154.08.The Wagons got past BttF 147.38-137.24, and the last firstround game was a shocking upset: Fantasy Lovelandended the Team’s bid for a threepeat, winning 149.18-142.48 thanks in large part to 44.30 from T-Law.In the second round, the Sell Outs were suddenly thevictim of a 40-pointer on Thursday courtesy of PukaNacua (plus 30 from Matt Stafford), which led to 183 pointsand a championship berth for the Wagons. The othersemifinal seemed fated to go to Loveland until TreVeyonHenderson suffered a concussion on SNF, and the Kissersprevailed 145.62-136.56 for their first playoff win since2018.Regular SeasonThe 2025 season had some interesting parallels to 2024.In 2024 the clear top two squads were Go Birds and theFantasy Football Team. The Birds scored the most points, but the Team got the bye and ended up winning thechampionship. In 2025, the clear top two squads were the Team and theSister Kissers. The Team scored the most points, but theKissers got the bye and (spoiler alert) ended up winningthe championship. The Wagons had a shocking turnaround from their 9-19finish in 2024, going 21-7 to claim the third seed. And itwasn’t a fluke either - they were third in the league inscoring and amassed a treasure trove of talent throughjudicious and frequent trading.Sad’s Lucky Buck also had a big turnaround, going from9-19 to 20-8 and securing the fourth seed thanks to hugeyears from Matt Stafford, Rico Dowdle, and GeorgePickens.Last year the Sell Outs were the fifth seed with a 13-15record; this year they were the fifth seed again but thistime they were 19-9 and that was without injured starsMalik Nabers, Lamar Jackson, and Garrett Wilson formuch of the year. One player who did stay healthy wasChristian McCaffrey, who put up an overall RB1 season.Brock to the Future was voted Most Likely to Regress lastyear and that proved true as they slumped to 16-12 andthe sixth seed, thanks in large part to injuries to BrockBowers. And the final playoff team was Fantasy Loveland, as theirbevy of rookies did enough to sneak them into theplayoffs with a 13-15 record.Cookin’ with Love barely missed returning to the playoffs;they finished 12-16 and midway through the seasonlooked like a lock behind unexpected scoring fromJavonte Williams and Quentin Johnston, which prompteda trade for Josh Jacobs. Ultimately CwL ended upcollapsing. No Mooney No Problems also missed the playoffs thanksto injuries to Joe Burrow and CJ Stroud and disappointingsophomore campaigns from Brian Thomas and LaddMcConkey. And then the Project and newcomer AJ’s ReadingRainbow joined Sunday Funday as clear rebuilders, withFunday completing the mythical 0-28 season.

BL Jeremiyah Love solidified his status as one ofcollege football's most electric playmakers duringthe 2025 season, rushing for almost 1,400 yards and18 TDs (including multiple 90+ yard touchdowns), and catching 27passes for 280 yards and three more TDs. Love was already theno-brainer 1.01, but landing top-three real life draft capital furtherboosted his dynasty value. BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 111.02Fernando MendozaQB1, Indiana Fernando Mendoza played two years at Cal before transferring to Indiana for his junior season. And what a season it was. Mendozabecame the school’s first-ever Heisman Trophy winner afterleading the Hoosiers to an undefeated season and the CollegeFootball championship. The redshirt junior passed for 2,980yards, 33 touchdowns, and only 6 picks with a 71.5% completionpercentage, and chipped in 276 yards and 7 TDs on the ground. The real-life 1.01 will hopefully pair with Tyler Shough and SamDarnold to form the basis of AJRR’s QB room for years to come.
BLThe BTBLE rookie draft’s first twist came whenAJRR took Jordyn Tyson (the real-life eighthoverall pick) and not Carnell Tate (the real-life fourthoverall pick) with the 1.03. Tyson went to arguably a bettersituation and also stacks with AJRR QB Tyler Shough. Tysonstruggled with injuries in 2025 and managed just a 61-711-8 lineafter putting up 75-1,101-10 in 2024, his first year with the SunDevils. If he can get right, Tyson should pair with Chris Olave togive the Saints and their ascending offense a dynamic pair of weapons, at the same time becoming AJRR’s WR1.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 121.03Jordyn TysonWR1, Arizona State
BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 13 NMNP was happy to take Carnell Tate, who goes fourth overall both in real life and BTBLE. The latest in a long line of first round Ohio State WRs,Carnell “Tater” Tate recorded 51-875-9 in 2025 despite missingthree games. In real life Tate joins Wan’Dale Robinson to giveCam Ward some much needed weapons, while in BTBLE Tatejoins by far the league’s best WR room and could struggle to seethe starting lineup most weeks. You can never have too manygood WRs though, advice NMNP has truly taken to heart.1.04Carnell TateWR2, Ohio State
BLHaving committed to a rebuild, the Project wasa major presence in the 2026 draft. With the 1.10already in-hand, they aggressively dealt their 2027first to get the 1.05 and draft Makai Lemon. Lemon won theBiletnikoff Award in 2025 after hauling in 79 balls for 1,156 yardsand 11 TDs. The Ravens were on the clock to draft him before theEagles moved up to snag him as the likely replacement for AJBrown. Lemon gives the Project a much-needed infusion of talentat the WR position as they begin the road back to the playoffs.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 141.05Makai LemonWR3, USC
BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 151.06Jadarian PriceRB2, Notre Dame Jadarian Price joined college teammate Jeremiyah Love as the only RBs to go in the first round of the NFL draft when he was picked32 overall by the Seahawks. Even playing alongside Love, Priceracked up 674 rushing yards and 11 TDs plus another tworeceiving TDs and a kickoff return TD. With Zach Charbonnetrecovering from the ACL he tore in the NFL playoffs, Price has achance to seize the reins right away in the Seahawks backfield. InBTBLE, he pairs with the man he replaced, KWIII, and formercollege teammate Love to give BttF a suddenly-robust RB group.nd
BLAJRR made their picks at 1.02 and 1.03 beforetrading away the 1.05 - but they weren’t donemoving and shaking. After NMNP traded Cookin’with Love the 1.07, AJRR then moved the 1.09 and the 2.03 to snagthe 1.07 and draft KC Concepcion who was the clear last player inthe second tier. Concepcion had a solid 2025, recording 886receiving yards and nine TDs plus 364 punt return yards and twomore TDs. With first round real life draft capital backing him,Concepcion should get every chance to overtake Jerry Jeudy asthe Browns WR1 and gives AJRR another potential star WR.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 161.07KC ConcepcionWR4, Texas A&M
BL Omar Cooper played a huge role in the Hoosiers’ stunning 2025 championship run, amassing a 69-937-13 line. That was enough toget him drafted 30 overall by a Jets team bound and determinedto get that offense fixed. With Brandon Aiyuk, George Kittle,Stefon Diggs, and Jaylen Waddle all taking various hits to theirproduction and/or value, Cooper provides a much-neededchance for the Team to get some secondary production behindsuperstars Jahmyr Gibbs and Ja’Marr Chase.thMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 171.08Omar CooperWR5, Indiana
BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 181.09Kenyon SadiqTE1, Oregon Omar Cooper’s new real-life teammate KenyonSadiq was drafted one pick later by Cookin’ withLove, their first first-rounder in quite some time. Sadiqis one of this draft’s most polarizing players. On the one hand, hewas drafted 16 overall and his combine workout was legendary(4.39 40 at 6'3\", 241 lbs.). On the other hand, his production wasgood, not great (51-660-8) and he joins a team that just draftedMason Taylor in the second last year (coincidentally also rosteredby CwL). Ideally Sadiq will blossom and give CwL that TE threatththey’ve lacked since TJ Hockenson’s heyday.
BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 191.10Ty SimpsonQB2, Alabama Ty Simpson was the talk of both the NFL and dynasty communities after the Rams shockingly drafted him 13 overall, followed by Sean McVaylooking less than pleased during their press conference. Whetheror not you read a lot into McVay’s demeanor, it’s clear Simpson hasbeen tagged as Matt Stafford’s eventual replacement. In 2025Simpson threw for 3,567 yards with 28 TDs against five picksdespite battling through some injuries. He’ll likely sit on taxi for thefirst bit here, but Simpson is the first (but certainly not only) effortththe Project made to revamp their QB room this draft.
BLMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 201.11Eli StowersTE2, VanderbiltSunday Funday moved the 1.01 to BttF for ahaul of future picks, but that didn’t preclude themfrom getting in on the fun in this draft. With the 1.11they drafted Eli Stowers out of Vanderbilt, adding to an elite TEroom that already includes Tucker Kraft and Tyler Warren. Somedraft analysts liked Stowers more than Sadiq; he lacks Sadiq’s offthe-charts tested athleticism but was a more solid producer (62-769-4). Stowers is blocked for 2026 behind Dallas Goedert butshould be the starter in 2027 - just in time for Tight End Premiumscoring.
BL BttF were in their bag in the first round, making another trade to acquire the 1.12 and draft their third first round RB: Jonah Coleman outof Washington. Coleman rushed for just 758 yards in 2025 butscored 15 touchdowns. JK Dobbins is back in Denver for 2025, butColeman could eventually be the Mark Ingram “Thunder” to RJHarvey’s “Lightning” in a Sean Payton system that manufacturesRB fantasy points like no other. BttF went into this draft with a planto revamp their depleted RB corps and after three first rounders, it’s safe to say mission accomplished on that one.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 211.12Jonah ColemanRB3, Washington
WR6 - WASHINGTON RB4 - PENN STATEWR7 - LOUISVILLE RB5 - NEBRASKAWR8 - OLE MISS WR9 - CLEMSONDenzel Boston had some first roundbuzz prior to the draft, but in both reallife and BTBLE he slipped to thesecond round. Boston amassed 62-881-11 in 2025, using his 6'4” frame tobecome a dominant red zone threat. He joins KC Concepcion in arevamped Browns WR room and forSunday Funday, hopefully he can helpsmooth over the whole Travis Hunterdebacle.Antonio Williams struggled a bit withinjuries in 2025, managing just 55-604-4. He didn’t hear his namedcalled until the third round of the NFLdraft, but crucially he goes to a wideopen depth chart behind TerryMcLaurin. The Team is hopingWilliams can pair with first rounderOmar Cooper to give them someyoung juice at WR. Time will tell.Emmett Johnson had a breakoutseason in 2025, rushing for 1,451yards (third in FBS) and generatingsome hype as a sleeper.Unfortunately he slipped to the fifthround where he was selected by aChiefs team that just signed KWIII toa big deal. His selection at 2.04perhaps speaks to the dearth oftalent in this rookie class. If not for Ty Simpson, De’ZhaunStribling would have been the mostcontroversial pick of the draft. Despitelate steam, Stribling was not really onmost analysts’ radars so the 49erstaking him 33 overall was needlessto say a bit shocking. After hitting onlast year’s “who the hell knows” pickin Luther Burden, the Kissers tookanother swing here.rdSingleton was once the next greatPenn State RB prospect, but injuriesresulting in a return for a seniorseason. He did set the all-time schoolrecords for TDs (55) and all-purposeyards (5,586), but slipped to the fifthround of the NFL draft. He landed in agood situation as far as his futureplaying time prospects, and that wasenough for AJRR to snag him early inthe second round.Chris Bell was among the nation’sleaders in receiving yards beforetearing his ACL in late November. That injury contributed to his fall inthe NFL draft, where he was draftedby the Dolphins in the late thirdround. WR10 - ALABAMA RB6 - ARKANSASWR11 - GEORGIA WR12 - INDIANAQB3 - PENN STATE WR13 - GEORGIA STATEThere was a time in 2024 where DrewAllar was receiving some buzz as apotential first overall pick. Sadly forhim he returned to school to chase anational championship, only tostruggle without Tyler Warren andthen suffer a season-ending injury inOctober. He was drafted in the thirdby the Steelers as a potential MikeMcCarthy pet project.Ted Hurst had a solid 2025 season (711,004-6) before being drafted in thethird round by the Bucs. Chris Godwinand Emeka Egbuka are theunquestioned top two WRs there, butafter them it’s a pretty murky depthchart. Only Jalen McMillan is reallystanding in the way of playing time, and at this point Hurst probably hasmore chance of hitting the Bucs’ lineupthan Fantasy Loveland’s.Elijah Sarrett hands-down wins theaward for worst nickname in theNFL. “Waffle House” was a part ofIndiana’s stunning undefeatedseason with 65-830-15. Those 15receiving TDs led the FBS, andcrucially Sarratt landed in a nicesituation in Baltimore where there’sno established WRs behind ZayFlowers. The BTBLE run on WRs continued withBttF’s pick of Germie Bernard. Theirfourth pick in the top 19 was their firstnon-RB. Any time the Steelers draft aWR it’s notable, and Bernard went inthe second round after racking up 64-862-7 in his senior season at AlabamaDK Metcalf and Michael Pittman areentrenched on the depth chart aheadof Bernard...for now. This is dynasty, after all. After a one-pick detour for a RB theWR run continued unabated withthe Project selecting ZachariahBranch out of Georgia. WR14 - UCONN RB7 - PENN STATEKaytron Allen shared the Penn Statebackfield with Nick Singleton but stillhad a monster 2025 season, with1,303 yards and 15 TDs. The NFLdidn’t necessarily appreciate thatproduction, and Allen slipped to the6 round. The good news is he wentto a very open RB room, with onlyRachaad White and Jacory CroskeyMerritt ahead of him.thRB8 - INDIANAThe 49ers were at it again in the thirdround, making their yearly reach for aRB with their selection of Indiana’sKaelon Black. Black will compete withJordan James and Isaac Guerendo forwhatever scraps of playing timeChristian McCaffrey doesn’t vacuumup, but the potential of being the49ers lead back at any given momentis too tempting for drafters to ignore.TE3 - NOTRE DAMERaridon battled knee injuries early inhis career and played for a run-heavyNotre Dame team that featured twofirst round NFL RBs, so it’s no surprisehis production stats lack. But lookingunder the surface reveals excellentper-route efficiency, size and blockingability enough to be a three-down TE,and an open runway to being thePatriots’ TE1 in 2027. Steal of the draft? Many are saying so.WR15 - NOTRE DAMESpeaking of Notre Dame passcatchers, Malachi Fields alsostruggled with counting stats (36-630-5). The Giants traded up todraft Fields in the third round, andhe’ll compete with Darnell Mooneyfor targets behind alpha MalikNabers.QB4 - MIAMI (FL)Carson Beck played most of hiscollege career at Georgia beforetransferring to Miami (Fl) for his seniorseason in 2025. He led the Hurricanesto a national championship loss beforebeing drafted in the third round by theCardinals. He’ll open the seasoncompeting with Gardner Minshew forthe backup spot, but longterm hecould be a starter, so he was an easyselection for BttF in the third round.Skyler Bell had quite the interestingstart to his BTBLE career. TE4 - GEORGIAOscar Delp took over for Brock Bowersas Georgia’s starting tight end, and hisproduction didn’t change from whenhe was a backup. Delp’s career highfor receiving yards is just 284 back in2023. Known more for his blocking,Delp was drafted in the third round bythe Saints. In BTBLE, he’s yet anothertight end collected by Sunday Fundayin what’s becoming one of theleague’s best memes.RB9 - WAKE FORESTWR16 - TENNESSEE RB10 - TEXAS A&MRB11 - CLEMSONSometimes the NFL draft feels like theCPU-generated draft in the old NCAAgames which just smashed togetherfirst and last names of real NFL stars.Anyway, injuries limited “Le’VeonMoss” to 77-404-6 in 2025. He wassigned by the Dolphins as a UDFA,making his selection by the Buckcurious given the other RBs on theboard and even more curious whenMoss retired on May 12 . Oof.thAdam Randall went into a nicesituation as an accomplished receivingback with only aging Derrick Henryahead of him, a non-factor in thepassing games at the best of times. The Ravens’ owner also apparentlypushed to draft Randall, which they didso in the fifth round. He’s another dartthrow by the Buck, and these pickscoincidentally took as much time as adart throw does. The Buck declined to make it aperfect four RBs with their four picks, opting for CJ Daniels instead. Danielswas one of the top targets for CarsonBeck in 2025, racking up 50-557-7before being drafted by the Rams inthe 6 round. At 6'2\" and 205, hecould potentially be a replacement forDavante Adams whenever that Hall ofFamer decides to hang ‘em up.thAfter a decent 2025 that saw him rushfor 907 yards and 10 TDs, DemondClaiborne was picked in the 6 roundby the Vikings. In BTBLE, he waspicked by Sad’s Lucky Buck, their firstpick of the draft and first in a four-offive pick stretch, none of which lastedmore than maybe five seconds.Claiborne could potentially have beena handcuff to Jordan Mason, exceptthe Buck traded Mason the next day.thIt was another WR for the Projectwith their selection of Chris Brazzell, who went to the Panthers in thethird round of the real draft. With a6'5'” frame and legit speed, Brazzellis a nice deep threat to pair with TetMcMillan and Jalen Coker. WR18 - USCHaving addressed WR, the Projectelected to hammer the QB spot withall three of their fourth rounders. Firstup is Cade Klubnik who was pickedby the Jets in the fourth round to sitbehind Geno Smith. He’ll likewise siton the Project’s bench - probablyforever - but even the remote chancehe turns into a starter is always worthspending a fourth rounder.QB6 - LSUNext the Project grabbed two-yearLSU starter Garrett Nussmeier. Thesenior was limited to nine games in2025, throwing for just 1,927 yardsand 12 TDs. Last year he threw for4,052 yards and 29 TDs. He waspicked in the 7 round by theChiefs, so barring something wackyhe’ll be a backup for at least his firstrour years.thTE5 - OHIO STATEThe Buck’s four third rounders werevarying levels of meh, but they hit it outof the park with their fouth rounder.Klare was drafted in the late secondround by the Rams, who use TEs morethan any team. Klare put up 43-448-2in 2025 and profiles as more of ablocker than 2024 second rounderTerrance Ferguson, so Klare couldhave an easier path to playing time.WR19 - MISSISSIPPI STATEThere’s a video going around of MikeMcDaniel promising to take his shirtoff in the Chargers’ war room if theydrafted Thompson. It’s kind of weird, but the point is McDaniel wanted thisguy. And why not? Thompson put upa solid 57-1,054-6 in 2025 but moreimportantly, ran a 4.26 40. We allknow how McDaniel covets thosespeed guys.RB12 - VIRGINIAQB5 - CLEMSONJ’Mari Taylor rushed for 1,062 yardsand 15 TDs in 2025 before catching onwith the Jags as a UDFA. He’ll beginthe season behind Bhayshul Tuten,Chris Rodriguez, and LeQuint Allen sobasically he’s just as buried in real lifeas he is on BttF’s revamped roster. That said, the Jags produce fantasypoints for their RBs, so this is a nicelittle dart throw to end the night forBttF.With their last pick Sunday Fundaysurprisingly did not go TE even withMax Klare and Justin Joly on theboard, instead opting for Ja’KobiLane. Playing opposite first rounderMakai Lemon, Lane posted 49-745-4in 2025 and was picked in the thirdround by the Ravens, so getting himat 4.01 is unquestionable a very nicevalue for Funday.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 264TH ROUND4.01JA’KOBI LANE4.02CADE KLUBNIK4.03GARRETT NUSSMEIER4.04MAX KLARE4.05BRENEN THOMPSON4.06J’MARI TAYLOR
QB7 - ARKANSAS TE6 - NORTH CAROLINA STATEWR20 - MISSOURIKevin Coleman was the third of threeWRs drafted by the WR-needyDolphins. He went in the fifth roundafter a 2025 season that saw him rackup 68-732-2 for the Tigers. As a fifthrounder he’ll likely never amount toanything but this late in the rookiedraft, and with a player in such anunknown and wide open situation, itnever hurts to throw a dart.RB13 - NAVYEvery white RB that catches one (1)pass in college is likened to ChristianMcCaffrey, but the Steelers are takingit to the next level by listing 7 rounderEli Heidenreich as a RB/WR on theirdepth chart. Heidenreich did catch 109passes in college, which is impressiveeven without accounting for the Navypassing volume, but he’s also less than200 lbs. so likely profiles as no morethan a third down scat back.thRB14 - KENTUCKYSeth McGowan rushed for 725yards and 12 TDs in his seniorseason for the Wildcats beforebeing drafted in the 7 round by theColts. He figures to compete withDJ Giddens to be the backup toJonathan Taylor. On the bright side,Giddens didn’t do much to impresslast year, so that job could be morewinnable that first appears.thWR21 - TEXAS TECHWhether it was a Sleeper ADP glitch orthe other BTBLE managers beingalseep at the wheel (or both), the SellOuts managed to snag Caleb Douglaswith the last pick of the 2026 draft.Douglas was drafted in the third round(75 overall), well before Chris Bell(94 overall) who is also coming off anACL tear and still went 2.03.Regardless of whether Douglas everamounts to anything, what a pick!ththDrafted in the fifth round by theBroncos, Justin Joly recorded 49-4897 in 2025, a decent little receivingline. With basically only theuninspiring and aging Evan Engramahead of him on the depth chart, Jolyis a sneaky dart throw in the fourthround by the Kissers. With TEPcoming up, a starting TE on a solidpassing offense is not nothing.Taylen Green is the latest QB to beadded to both the Project’s and theBrowns’ QB rooms. Green is a notabledual threat, passing for 2,714 yardsand 19 TDs for the Razorbacks in2025 and also rushing for 777 yardsand 8 TDs. Funday managed to scorebasically zero points from the QB and RB positions (except onehilarious week where Jameis Winston was the QB1). At the end ofthe day they went 0-28, a first in BTBLE history. They alsoestablished the new record for fewest points which is quite anachievement given the league has existed since it was standardscoring with fewer starters and one less game per season. Fundayshould be slightly more competitive in 2026, there’s still no doubtwhatsoever which team will win the Jeremiah Smith sweepstakes.QB: FSunday Funday got an F- for their QB roomlast year and if it was possible for them to geta worse grade this year, they would. At leastgoing into last year they had both DanielJones and Anthony Richardson, one ofwhom would start for Indy. MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 29WR: FMarvin Harrison Jr. and Travis Hunter weresupposed to form a decent 1-2 punch butneither looks like a difference maker at thispoint - a brutal development for a teamalready bereft of non-TE talent. Mayberookies Denzel Boston and Ja’Kobi Lanecan provide some semblance of value here.Isaac TeSlaa showed a few flashes last year, but most of these guys are roster cloggers. If they did start producing, they’d likely beshipped off for draft capital regardless.TE: A+Tucker Kraft was on his way to abreakout in 2025 before tearing hisACL, and Tyler Warren was a starfrom Day One. Arguably the league’sbest TE room got even better withthe addition of Eli Stowers at 1.11.When TEP premium arrives next yearwe might see this team regularlyflexing multiple tight ends. Thenagain, with six first rounders and fivesecond rounders in the 2027 draftas of this writing, maybe not.X-FACTOR: TUCKER KRAFTAs mentioned above, Tucker Kraft was on his way to a massive breakout in2025 before sadly tearing his ACL. His “X-factor” status isn’t really related to2026 at all - Funday will be lucky to pick up a single win this year - but moreto Kraft’s future as a player. Can he recover all the way from the ACL tear? Can he hold off a somewhat-pruned carousel of WRs and truly become thisteam’s unquestioned #1 target? Will he get paid? These are the pertinentquestions for Kraft as he enters his contract year, and for Sunday Funday withTEP approaching.POTENTIAL BREAKOUT:MARVIN HARRISON JR.MHJ was the pick in this space lastyear, and with the concerningrumors Travis Hunter is destined toplay mostly CB, there’s really noother pick. Harrison has struggled sofar in three NFL seasons, noquestion, but hope springs eternal.Maybe - hopefully - a new coachingstaff can unlock the talent we all sawon display every week in college.Lol. Lmao, even.RB: FDRAFT PICKS: A++Sweet baby Jesus. Funday’sferocious wrangling of draftcapital single-handedly forcedthe inclusion of draft picksummaries in BTBNE. Never inthe history of this league (andmaybe in any serious league)have we seen such a collectionof picks. The fact six of thosefirsts and five of those secondsare in the vaunted 2027 class isjust gravy. It will be interesting tosee how many of those picksFunday actually makes, givenhistorical bust rates, and howmany they deal for proven talent.

In 2023 Funday traded for the 1.02 before the draft, and in 2025 they did it again. They debuted a newwrinkle in 2026, this time trading away the 1.01 - andthey did not start negotiations until on the clock, leading to a) a massive windfall for a team alreadyflush with picks and b) the first of four BTBLE tequilashots on the night thanks to a full 25 minutes ofnegotiations.1.11 - ELI STOWERS, TE, VANDERBILTFunday did stick and pick at 1.11, nabbing EliStowers. The late first was brutal this year for fantasybut Stowers is fine and should easily start for theEagles in 2027.Grade: BHonestly the picks Funday made barely matter, given they don’t intend on competing in 2026 andthis was a weak class to begin with. The fact thatthey came away from this draft with their sixth 2027first, two 2027 seconds, and a 2028 first makes thisdraft a huge sucess literally regardless of whathappens in 2026.Grade: A+DRAFT RECAP & GRADESMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 32OVERALL GRADE1.11 Pick Player Team Pos2026 Rookie Draft PicksEli Stowers PHI TE2 2.01 Denzel Boston CLE WR6 3.07 Oscar Delp NO TE4 4.01 Ja’Kobi Lane BAL WR18DRAFT TRADES (2)As mentioned, Funday traded away the 1.01 to Brockto the Future, getting back a coveted 2027 first (theirsixth, meaning they control half of next year’s entirefirst round), a 2028 first, and a 2027 second (theirfifth). With the top pick being a RB and thus notaligning to Funday’s timeline, they got out of thatpick and got a haul in return.Grade: A+Funday’s second trade of the night was just a littlebit less exciting: they traded the 3.01 and JahanDotson to Fantasy Loveland in exchange for a 2027second and fourth. This isn’t a blockbuster but it’sarguably even better value considering JahanDotson is probably not roster-worthy. Amazing.Grade: A+2.01 - DENZEL BOSTON, WR, WASHINGTONTwo picks later, Funday nabbed the player thatcould easily have been the pick at either 1.11 or 1.12,Denzel Boston. Boston didn’t get the first roundcapital of KC Concepcion, but as a bigger player hefills a different role.Grade: B+3.07 - OSCAR DELP, TE, GEORGIAHonestly at this point in the draft, especially in 2026,it’s all dart throws anyways. Funday has clearlycommitted to a TE-centric build. In for a penny, in fora pound, they say. However Max Klare went to abetter offense with better draft capital, so could andprobably should have been the pick here.Grade: C4.01 - JA’KOBI LANE, WR, USCFunday wrapped things up with Ja’Kobi Lane out ofUSC. Keaton Mitchell looked like De’VonAchane lite his rookie year beforebeing sidelined by a brutal knee injury. He wasn’t all the way back last year, and this year he moved to theChargers. Yes the same Chargers whohired Mike McDaniel as offensivecoordinator. Yes the same MikeMcDaniel who made De’Von Achaneinto a superstar and who pounded thetable for the Chargers to sign Mitchell. The Chargers spent the 21 overall pickin 2025 on Omarion Hampton, butAchane won fantasy leagues in 2023splitting time with Raheem Mostert.Mitchell won’t win the Project BTBLE in2026, but he can certainly providesome fireworks. Sometimes whenyou’re rebuilding, that’s enough.stPOTENTIAL BREAKOUT:KEATON MITCHELLLast year’s X-factor, Keon Coleman, was a non-factor in 2025. Hopefullythis year’s is better. Mark Andrewsfinished as just the TE16 in 2025 andat the beginning of the year lookedcompletely cooked, especially with anew coaching staff. But then theRavens let both Isaiah Likely andCharlie Kolar walk in free agency, andsuddenly Andrews is sitting pretty.Rookie Makai Lemon leads the chargein this work-in-progress WR room.Unfortunately guys like Keon Colemanand Calvin Ridley slid further into theabyss in 2025. There’s not a lot tolove here after Lemon.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 37WR: DX-FACTOR: MARK ANDREWSBesides Josh Allen, the Project hadtraditionally been able to rely on itsstable of veteran RBs like DerrickHenry and Josh Jacobs. Those boysare gone, and unfortunately bothTrey Benson and James Conner gotnuked from orbit during the NFLoffseason, first by the signing of TylerAllgeier and then especially by theCardinals shockingly and stupidlyspending the third overall pick onJeremiyah Love. A post-draft tradefor Jordan Mason has given thisgroup at least one clear starter, butthere’s really not much interesting orgood here...save for one name:Keaton Mitchell.RB: D+Mark Andrews survived the coachingchange in Baltimore, but he’s prettymeh as a dynasty asset at this point, hovering around Project teammates Brenton Strange and Dalton Schultz in value. Overall, this TE room doesn’t really inspire much excitement.TE: C+The Project have three extra 2027seconds, which is excellent. Theirpicks would look a lot better if theyhad their own (likely early) 2027 first, but it was spent to acquire MakaiLemon at the 1.05 in the 2026 draft.Other than that, this is the kind ofdraft capital you want as a rebuilder.DRAFT PICKS: B

DRAFT RECAP & GRADESMAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 40This was the Project’s first draft with a first round pick since 2020when BTBLE was a four-keeper league. The Project drafted AtlantaRB Todd Gurley with that pick, by the way. They actually made twofirst rounders this year and eight total picks, a massive changeup instrategy after making zero picks in both 2023 and 2025 (they alsomade eight in 2024).1.05 - MAKAI LEMON, WR, USCWith the pick they traded up for, the Project drafted Makai Lemon.Lemon is a fine prospect and his path to playing time should clear upassuming AJ Brown is traded after June 1. Lemon was the end of thesecond tier of players in this draft and this squad is looking for talentanywhere it can find it. So not a bad pick here, even if the processused to get the pick wasn’t good.Grade: AThe actual picks the Project made were pretty solid and a good starton the long road back to competing. Unfortunately trading away theirfirst in the excellent 2027 for the 1.05 in a weak 2026 class casts apall over their whole draft.Grade: COVERALL GRADE1.05 Pick Player Team Pos2026 Rookie Draft PicksMakai Lemon PHI WR3 1.10 Ty Simpson LAR QB2 2.09 Zachariah Branch ATL WR11 3.02 Kaytron Allen WAS RB7 3.09 Chris Brazzell CAR WR16 4.02 Cade Klubnik NYJ QB5 4.03 Garrett Nussmeier KC QB6 4.07 Taylen Green CLE QB7DRAFT TRADES (1)The Project also made a big trade during the 2026 draft, moving their2027 first rounder to acquire 1.05. The player they picked there will begraded below; right now we’re just grading the trade and it was not agood one. This squad is not going to compete in 2026 in alllikelihood, meaning that 2027 first will be early, potentially as early as1.02. Given the much-ballyhooed 2027 class, moving that pick wasalmost surely a mistake.Grade: F1.10 - TY SIMPSON, QB, ALABAMAThis was a great pick. It would have been even better had the Projectnot moved their 2027 first, because Simpson will almost surelyredshirt his rookie year, giving the Project a safe investment at thecritical QB position while also not scoring any points so as to notincrease their max potential points. Alas, the benefit of that improveddraft slot potential now goes to rival AJ’s Reading Rainbow.Grade: B+2.09 - ZACHARIAH BRANCH, WR, GEORGIABranch was part of a massive tier of WRs, any of which could be solidor nothing burgers, so there’s really not much to quibble with here. Atrade down probably would have been the best option, but perhapsthat was tried unsuccessfully.Grade: B3.02 - KAYTRON ALLEN, RB, PENN STATEThis was a pretty solid pick. Allen is a thicc boi who went to a wideopen RB room where he could easily begin as the goal-line specialistand go from there.Grade: B+3.09 - CHRIS BRAZZELL, WR, TENNESSEEThis was a nice pick. Brazzell went in the third round of the NFL draft,so getting him in the late third of a rookie draft is nice. Other thirdround WRs began going in the rookie draft as early as 2.03. Theydon’t usually pan out, but it only takes one.Grade: A4.02 - CADE KLUBNIK, QB, CLEMSONFourth round QBs don’t work out often either, but who knows?Klubnik could certainly get a chance to play his way into a job thisyear for a Jets team that will likely contend for the first overall pick in2027. Firing a bunch of darts at the QB position is a nice strategy.Grade: A4.03 - GARRETT NUSSMEIER, QB, LSUNussmeier has infinitely less chance of seeing the field for non-injuryrelated reasons, but if he did get a few starts maybe he couldgenerate trade buzz. It doesn’t matter much because he’s alreadybeen traded, but a shot at a young tight end like Max Klare probablywould have been a better choice here.Grade: C4.07 - TAYLEN GREEN, QB, ARKANSASGreen is buried on his depth chart, same as Nussmeier, but thedifference is all the guys ahead of Green suck. He can also run a tonwhich is fantasy gold.Grade: A+

AJRR had a surprise four-game head to headwinning streak from Weeks Three through Six, but in the endthey committed to the rebuild and continued to sell. Theyuncovered some key pieces for the future, amassed four2026 first rounders (including the 1.02, 1.03, and 1.05), andeven won free pizza for the 2026 draft. All in all, a prettysuccessful first season that laid the foundation for futuresuccess. They followed that up with a very nice 2026 rookiedraft that netted them three potential foundational pieces andan extra 2027 first.QB: BAJRR came into last year rostering just Geno Smith, SamDarnold, and Tyler Shough at QB and got a D grade for theirefforts. Fast forward a year, and Darnold and Shough are bothstill rostered and both look like clear hits, a welcomedevelopment. A few backups have been added, along withBTBLE 1.02 and real life first overall QB Fernando Mendoza, plus reclamation project JJ McCarthy who was so terrible inhis first year starting theVikings almost had nochoice but to go out andget Kyler Murray. Still, thisQB room is not bad at all,and really just lacks thatone elite guy as thefinishing touch.Notable Bench PlayersRB Brian Robinson RB61 Trade - '25 Player '25 Finish Acquired RB Nicholas Singleton - Rookie 2.02 QB Fernando Mendoza - Rookie 1.02 WR Matthew Golden WR90 Trade - ‘252025 FINISH:6-22 (11TH)PF: 1,264.46 (11TH)PA: 1,590.26 (8TH)SF Tyler Shough QB26 Trade - ‘25 WR Jayden Reed WR116 Trade - ‘25 WR KC Concepcion - Rookie 1.07
Hours before the first Sunday of2025, AJRR moved Tyler Warren forAJ Barner and two 2026 firsts. Oneof those ended up 1.02, so that was acoup. Barner finished TE14 in 2025,not totally embarassing himself, butthis is obviously still a group thatneeds work. This group overwent quite the overallin one calendar year. Gone are AJBrown, Tyreek Hill, and DJ Moore, three of 2025's four headliners.Jameson Williams stayed in town andAJRR got that call correct; Jamo’sWR10 finish bested all three of theguys that were jettisoned. JordynTyson and KC Concepcion are thenew additions to this group, andhopefully Matthew Golden andJayden Reed can rebound fromdisastrous 2025 campaigns.MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 45WR: C+ TE: COffseason rumors swirled that theGiants were looking to add to theirRB room, including Jeremiyah Lovebeing in play for them at sixth overall. The Cardinals made sure that didn’tcome to pass, and the Giants andnew coach Jim Harbaugh ended upstanding pat. That opens the doorfor Skattebo to build on an excellent 2025 debut - if he can stay healthy, that is.POTENTIAL BREAKOUT:CAM SKATTEBORB: CThis is the position group thatunderwent the least turnover in2025. Basically the whole crew isback, plus Nicholas Singleton andMike Washington. Cam Skattebo,Blake Corum, and Kenny Gainwell allenjoyed breakouts of sorts lastseason, and Rhamondre Stevensonasserted himself during the Patriots’Super Bowl run after a slow start. This isn’t a great room, or even agood one, but it’s decent for sure.Tyler Shough came into the NFL as a25-year old rookie - shades of ChrisWeinke. Thankfully Shough mostlyballed out, and probably boughthimself at least 2026 as the starter. With underrated mobility, a nicedeep ball, and improving weapons,Shough could easily be a QB1 in2026, further cementing his spot asthe Saints’ starter in advance of theelite 2027 rookie class.X-FACTOR: TYLER SHOUGHDRAFT PICKS: AAJRR came away from the 2026draft with an extra 2027 first - and itcould be an early one. That’s clutchsince the prior one they ownedwasn’t theirs, but the Sell Outs’. Theyalso have two extra 2028 seconds intheir back pocket, giving them ampleopportunityto continuetheir rebuild.

MAY 2026 | ISSUE 04 48DRAFT RECAP & GRADESAfter making two selections in 2025, this squad hadmade just five total picks over the past three years. They came into the 2026 draft with four firstrounders alone, and ended the night with five newplayers and another 2027 first. Great success!OVERALL GRADEOverall this was an extremely good second draft forAJRR, netting at least three probable starters andadding a valuable 2027 first while they were at it.Grade: A+1.03 - JORDYN TYSON, WR, ARIZONA STATEThis was a bit of an interesting selection. AJRR choseTyson over Carnell Tate, who went four picks earlier inreal life. The eighth overall pick is nothing to sneeze atthough, and Tyson does stack with Tyler Shough plusis a different archetype of receiver.Grade: A1.02 Pick Player Team Pos2026 Rookie Draft PicksFernando Mendoza LV QB1 1.03 Jordyn Tyson NO WR11.02 - FERNANDO MENDOZA, QB, INDIANAThere was little drama here. The only blue chip QBselection in this draft was the obvious choice.Grade: B+1.07 KC Concepcion CLE WR4 2.02 Nicholas Singleton TEN RB4 2.08 Mike Washington LV RB6DRAFT TRADES (2)AJRR made two trades during the draft. The first wasto decline selecting a player with their third top-fivepick, instead moving the 1.05 to the Project for their2027 first. Given the Project is in a total rebuild andthat pick could potentially be as high as 1.02, this is aslam dunk trade.Grade: A+AJRR wasn’t done moving and shaking. AfterCookin’ with Love did the same thing as the Projectand moved their 2027 first for the 1.07, they eithergot cold feet or switched strategies. AJRR pounced, sending the 1.09 and 2.03 for the 1.07. A steep cost, although the eventual selection was the clear end ofa tier.Grade: C1.07 - KC CONCEPCION, WR, TEXAS A&MThe last player in the secondary tier, KC Concepcionis another smaller guy with great quicks. Hopefully hecan use that quickness to actually get open instead ofputting 15 stutter steps into his routes like real lifeteammate Jerry Jeudy.Grade: A2.02 - NICHOLAS SINGLETON, RB, PENN STATEIt’s strange to see a fifth round pick drafted at 2.02,but this was a weird class and honestly it’s hard toargue. Singleton has pedigree despite some struggleslate in his college career and went to a very nicesituation.Grade: B+2.08 - MIKE WASHINGTON, RB, ARKANSASThis is more of a tricky one. Washington lit up theCombine, but he went in the fourth round and isburied behind Ashton Jeanty. Multiple third roundWRs were on the board here. This might have beengoing for need a bit too hard.Grade: C
