EDITORS NOTE

Well, we finally finished it! The long awaited 1989-1990 yearbook is now published. Our
experience as novice editors has been successful. Three months ago when we were offered
the opportunity to put together a double edition yearbook, we were full of anxiety and excite-
ment, as well as doubts that we could pull it off. None of us had ever been on a yearbook staff or
much less, edited a yearbook, so this was indeed a new experience for all three of us.
This book would not have been possible without the help and experience of John Urian, our
Herff Jones representative. John's support, enthusiasm and encouragement enabled us to put
a book together in three months that would otherwise not have been possible. Thanks John for
the patience to teach us your 21 years of experience in 90 days.
There are others who have contributed to the outcome of this book that need to be recognized.
Thank you Bruce Cowell for taking so many of "those" pictures that we could not photograh
ourselves. Another thanks to the faculty and staff of OCPM for putting up with our cameras
snapping pictures everytime you turned around. And a special thanks to Luria Marchese for
taking the yearbook orders in addition to the other million things she does everyday.
As to the graduates of 1989 and 1990 - we wish you all the very best success as you enter the
profession of podiatry. In this yearbook, we tried to capture the spirit of our school and if it
brings back even a few special memories or good times spent here at OCPM, we will feel that
our job as editors had been successful.
