MEN OF

There are several qualities that are
desirable in a professor: confidence, self-
assuredness, and a willingness to treat
students as equals, and above all, the
knowledge and ability to convey
information to students.

Dr. Elliot Biggs possesses all of these
qualities, and that is why the Class of 1986
has named him "Professor of Excellence."

A 1969 graduate of OCPM, Dr. Biggs
completed has residency (also at OCPM) in
1970. He opened his office that same year,
never losing touch with the school. He
was Director of Residency Training from
1972-1980, and was the Chairman of the
Department of Surgery from 1977-1982. A
busy man, indeed.

Dr. Biggs will remain a close friend to
many of us, highly respected and well-
liked. To have been associated with this
man during our four years at OCPM was
truly a pleasure. The Class of 1986 wishes
to thank and congratulate Dr. Elliot Biggs
for truly being our "Professor of
Excellence."
