don’t know about lime. What about some kind of grey?
Valentina: Grey? That sounds depressing.
Clark: Grey looks really clean and modern. Here, I’ll show you
pictures.
Valentina: Hmm… that doesn’t look that bad. What about a greyish-
blue color?
Clark: That might work.
Valentina: Look at this picture. Something like this.
Clark: Yeah, I kind of like that.
Valentina: Really?
Clark: Yeah.
Valentina: Wow, do we agree on this?
Clark: I think so! All right, so we’ve decided on the paint color. We
need to buy some supplies too.
Valentina: Yes, we do. We need a paint roller and trays and a couple
brushes. And some painter’s tape.
Clark: We need a ladder too, right?
Valentina: Yeah, Adam is lending us his ladder.

Clark: Oh, okay. Perfect.
Valentina: I hope the room will look good!
Clark: Me too. What if we paint the whole room and then we don’t
like it?

forty minutes.

Paul: Okay, let’s go!

Susana: So, what’s the most beautiful sunset you’ve ever seen?

Paul: Hmm… I saw some really beautiful sunsets in Thailand.

Susana: Oh really? Why were they beautiful?

Paul: There were so many amazing colors in the sky—orange, pink,
purple—and of course everything is a lot more beautiful when
you’re on a beach in Thailand!

Susana: Yeah, I bet. I hope I can go to Thailand someday!

Paul: I really want to go back. There were so many beautiful places
and the people were so nice. And, of course, the food was amazing.

Susana: I’m going to start saving money.
