CHURCH MISSIONS

Serving missions for the Church has been a longstanding Rawsel Sprague Bradford, served a three year mission

however, was that I was able to take my family with me
during this somewhat challenging assignment. Actually,
this mission in 1962 was not my first, so I should start
at the beginning and tell some of the more outstanding
experiences that I have had during each of the missions I
have served to the present time. There may even be one
more in the future because we were asked to consider yet
another mission in Europe to supervise the construction

of a new temple that is to be built in Paris, France.

First Mission - 1951/53

Because I had served in the military right after graduating
from high School and then took some time to build a

the other missionaries when I left on my first mission as

Nice (he came with our mason, Ken Lundgren), Mohand
Berkani from Algeria and Nice, Gerard LeRoy (Hubert’s
older brother) and Mike Methany from Marseille and the
United States. I think Mike and Ted had been proselyting
missionaries who just preferred being building missionaries.
We had a few others like them who served only for short
periods of time. The only ones I’ve followed over the years
are the LeRoy brothers. Hubert came to the States and is a
successful builder in California. Gerard married one of the
Roux girls and seemed to be doing really well until a few years
