It is famous for the “loin cloth fermented with Nakhi mud” known for the cotton fibers that are dyed from natural dyes, whether they be wild cowwood, green joint wood, padauk wood, etc. They are boiled together to create classic colors like gray and light brown. There is also the wisdom of fermenting cloth with fresh mud from the banks of the Mekong River. This will make the fabric color last longer. Phu Sing-Hin Sam Wan It is located in the national reserved forest area, Kala evergreen forest, Phu Sing forest, and pink grove forest, covering an area of 19.2 square km. The terrain is sandstone mountains extending north to south, covering areas of amphoe Mueang Bueng Kan and amphoe Si Wilai. Phu Sing is caused by geological changes in the earth’s crust in various ways, resulting in cliffs, caves, rock terraces, and various rock formations scattered throughout. You can watch the sunrise and sunset on the same mountain. into three rocks. When looked from a distance or from an aerial view, its shape resembles that of parents and child whales, so it is called “Hin Sam Wan”. Phu Tok Phu Thok is the location of Wat Chetiyakhiriwihan (wat Phu Thok), which is the starting point for walking up to the top of Phu Thok. You have to walk along the wooden bridge that circles the steep mountain until reaching the top. Phu Thok is also a place for practicing Dhamma and performing religious duties of the community. The stairs up to Phu Thok are divided into 7 levels, all of which will encounter both tunnels and caves, and there is a Buddha image pavilion for worship. There is a monastery where monks live. The stairs circle round so you can admire the beautiful surrounding scenery in 360 degrees. At present, the area in front of the mountain at wat Chetiyakhiriwihan, there is the “8th Path Museum Chedi” which is a museum pagoda built in the middle of a pond. It is like the Dhamma path that leads human beings beyond the mundane world. Bueng Khong Long Bueng Khong Long is a very large pond with water throughout the year. Bueng Khong Long is a wildlife non-hunting area. It was registered as an international wetland number 1,098 in the world in 1982 and the second in Thailand. Bueng Khong Long is a habitat for animals and plants. Studies observe at least 75 species of aquatic plants, divided into 256 species of land plants, 64 species of fish and 27 species of birds. If you want to take a boat trip to see the natural scenery at Bueng Khong Long, you should come during the bird migratory season when you will see the perfect nature rarely found. Before going up to the Naga Cave, ask for your blessing to travel safely, a prosperous career and good fortune. After Pu Ue Lue Shrine, another place not to be missed in paying homage to Pu Ue Lue is Don Pho island, Bueng Khong Long. Traveling to Don Pho island will take the boat behind the Pu Ue Lue Shrine. When reaching the island, you have to wade through the water to get to the ceremony spot. Naga Cave Located in Phu Langka National Park, Naga Cave has outstanding characteristics: The walls of the cave resemble the scales of a Naga. There is a whole head section, body and scales. Scientifically, this geological phenomenon is called “Sun crack” which is caused by cracks on the surface of the rock and changes according to different temperatures, causing scale-like marks of the Naga. Wat Tham Chai Mongkol Wat Tham Chai Mongkol is the first and oldest route used to ascend Naga Cave before changing the way up to Thitisararam Monastery (wat Tat Wiman Thip). Inside the temple, there is a big grandfather’s head and it is called the king’s head. It is located between the Naga stairs at the reclining Buddha. And that is the highlight of this temple. One of the most beautiful Naga statues in Bueng Kan is Ong Nakarintra Athibodi Dechanakharat (Phu Pho Dam) and Ong Ya Si Pang Tan (Ya Thongkham). Tham Phra Waterfall Tham Phra Waterfall or Phu Tham Phra Waterfall is one of the waterfalls in Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a waterfall from a large rock cliff. The water from Tham Phra Waterfall flows down onto a large and beautiful open rock terrace approximately 100 m wide. The Tham Phra Waterfall rock terrace has become a swimming area that is like a large water park. Entering Tham Phra Waterfall must be travelled by boat. It is a large steel shuttle boat servicing passengers throughout the day. The fare is 20 baht per person. Cha Naen Waterfall Cha Nan Waterfall is located at Ban Phu Ngern. The waterfall was originally named Tat Sa Naen. Tat means “place where water flows.” Sa Naen means “highest peak” or “excellent.” The waterfall originates from Huai Sa Naen, flowing in two cascades, with a width of approximately 100 m. Chet Si Waterfall Chet Si Waterfall is in Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary, Bueng Kan. It is a waterfall that is popular among tourists, with many swimming areas, divided into 3 levels, each level of which is swimmable. Its look is of a very beautiful natural stone terrace. The waterfall comes from the stream of Huai Ka-am flowing out wide and is stunningly beautiful. It hits the rocks below and creates steam droplets. Wat Seka Chetiyaram Located in tambon Seka, it was originally called Wat Ban Seka. They requested to change the name of wat Ban Seka to Seka Chetiyaram on December 29, 2009. At present, it has been appointed as a royal temple of Bueng Kan Province. Inside the temple there are important things including Phra Mahathat Tika Chedi, King Mun Mueang Seka enshrined in the pavilion honoring Her Majesty the Queen’s 72nd birthday, Phra That Gratitude containing the Buddha’s relics. Thamfun Waterfall Tham Fun Waterfall is at the Tham Fun Forest Protection Unit in the Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary. There is water only in the rainy season. The surrounding nature is a sparse forest with beautiful views. The highlight is that there are 2 waterfalls flowing down from the crevices of a high rock cliff to join the basin below. Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary covers areas in amphoe Bueng Kan, amphoe Bung Khla, amphoe Seka and amphoe Bueng Khong Long. There are many beautiful waterfalls. It has an area of approximately 186 square km. The average height above sea level is approximately 150-300 m. Most of the forest is a deciduous forest and a dry evergreen forest and rain forest. Some parts are sandstone ridges. The rocky fields and meadows at this place are still fertile. There are many different species of animals living such as elephants, tigers, leopards, bears, civets, pheasants, jungle fowls, monkeys, gibbons and many types of birds. In the area of Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary, interesting attractions include Tham Fun Waterfall, Chet Si Waterfall, a viewpoint on the back of Phu Wua. Phu Wua Wildlife Sanctuary has lodges, tent sites and tent equipment for rent including informing about the need for porters, guides and numbers of days needed to stay overnight. Wat Sawang Arom Wat Sawang Arom or wat Tham Sithon is located in tambon Non Sila, on a hill with rocks, cliffs, stone terraces, shady trees, and a small stream flowing through the temple area. There is a replica of the Buddha’s footprint. There are a statue of Thao Sithon, a simulated cave tourists can visit inside. There is an upside-down bell-shaped ubosot on a high hill, inside of which is a sacred Buddha image. If you go up to the area where the temple is located, you will be able to see the beautiful surrounding scenery on both the Thai and Lao sides. Wat Sawang Arom is considered a symbol of amphoe Pak Khat and has a high relationship with the community. The community will hold regular events every year. During the Songkran festival, New Year and the end of Buddhist Lent, a large number of people in the community and tourists attend the events. The Charm of life in wonderland. Red Water Lilies Sea at Nong Loeng Red water lilies sea at Nong Loeng, is a large swamp. Located in tambon Don Ya Nang in the middle of Don Ya Nang village. There will be activities including taking pictures of red lilies, rowing a boat to see the red lilies up close, eating on a raft in the middle of Nong Loeng. The red water lilies sea near this lake still has a lot of natural beauty.
