1 SHANGHAI SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Message from Head of School Dear SSIS Community, As we reflect on the academic year gone by, it is with immense pride and gratitude that we acknowledge the tremendous work and effort put forth by all students in their pursuit of excellence. The dedication and commitment displayed by each student in not only academic endeavours but also their efforts in the realms of music, drama, and sports have been truly inspiring. In the classrooms, on the stage, and on the field, our students have showcased their talents and passion, pushing boundaries and striving for excellence. Their achievements speak volumes about their resilience, creativity, and passion to succeed in all aspects of their education and personal development. We must also recognise and appreciate the unwavering support and loyalty of our internationally minded parents and community members. It is through their continuous encouragement and involvement that we are able to nurture a global mindset among our students, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of global citizenship. To our dedicated SSIS teaching staff, we extend our deepest gratitude for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment. They do not see their role as just a job, but as a way of life – shaping young minds, inspiring curiosity, and fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. As we bid farewell to staff and families who may be leaving SSIS, we express our heartfelt wishes for health and happiness in their future endeavours. Your contributions have been invaluable, and your presence will be dearly missed. In the words of Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Let us continue to empower our young Sabres, instil in them a sense of purpose, and equip them with the tools to make a positive impact on the world around them. Finally, as you turn the pages of this yearbook, please remember the moments of triumph, the challenges overcome, and the friendships forged within our SSIS community. Together, we are creating a legacy of excellence, family, and growth that will endure for years to come. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Stronger Together, Mr. David Shirley
