Twelve Princess Chulabhorn Science High Schools (PCSHS) were established in
honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s dedication in science and to
commemorate her 36th birthday in 1993. The curriculum is specialized and intensive in
mathematics and science with focus on science projects and independent research activities.

Canada Wide Science Fair 2019 (CWSF2019)

The Canada Wide Science Fair (CWSF) brings together the country’s top young scientists in grade 7-12. In addition
to scientific, social and cultural activities, the 500 finalists compete for medals, cash prizes, scholarships and exclusive science
opportunities. Three days of school and public viewing welcome over 30,000 virtual visitors who also experience STEM Expo
interactive and inspiring exhibits featuring ideas and opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math.

International Cansat Conference 2019

The CanSat Conference is one of ESA Education’s initiatives to help young people increase their literacy and
competence in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and inspire them to pursue a career in
the STEM fields.
Each CanSat student team is composed of up to six secondary school students aged between 14 and 19 years,
assisted by a teacher or tutor. Similar to what happens in a real-life space programme, the teams are tasked with
developing their small ‘satellite’ project (the CanSat) and asked to submit Progress Reports to experts, who will then send their
feedback and assess if the CanSats are flight-worthy upon arrival at the launch campaign. During the launch campaign, the
teams will launch and operate their CanSats, analyse the data collected, and present their results to a jury who will then assign
the prizes for each scoring category.

The Korea International Youth Olympiad (KIYO) was held by the World Women Inventors & Entrepreneurs Association
