Young Inventors Challenge (YIC) 2019

Young Inventors Challenge is organized by ASTI (Association of Science & Technology & Innovation). ASTI is a NGO
who started this program in 2013 and are growing at almost 100% year on year.
The challenge is team based. YIC requires teams of upto 4-5 secondary students to put their minds together and come
up with an invention. The purpose of programme is to build and encourage the creative and inventive capabilities of our young
people.

Young Scientists Innovation Exhibition (IYSIE)

The International Young Scientists Innovation Exhibition (IYSIE) 2019 was held in Mandarin Court Hotel, Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia on July 8th-12th, 2019. IYSIE was organized by Malaysia Young Scientists Organization (MYSO). This year participants
could choose either Conference (Slide presentation) or Exhibition as their main category. There is no limitation number of
project submission to IYSIE 19 by any organization.
More than 15 countries around the world, such as Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Korea,
Taiwan, Nepal, India and etc. were attending the exhibition. MYSO is expecting more than 200 projects from international
student age between 15 and 19 to participate in IYSIE 2019. There is more to come in IYSIE, sharing session between teachers
and students, excursions and scientific activity for the students.

The ASEAN Student Science Project Competition (ASPC 2019) is held by the National Science Museum Thailand in

World Robot Game 2019

The WRG2019 theme “ROBOTICS at HOME” focuses on promoting and encouraging the use of robotics and A.I in
homes. Teams are challenged not only against each other in our games but also to innovate and create robots according to this
theme.
Initial list of participating countries include, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Taiwan,
Malaysia and more.
The Games will include Sumo Robot, Line Tracing, Search and Rescue MINI, Robot Rugby, and Innovative. There will
also be new games like Line Tracing X-Treme, and many more.
