1. THE SAI MISSION CONTINUES 1836-2023

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam... One World One Family One Future

years of His life, till the age of 96, when He would finally “leave”. This was much like the announcement He had made in 1964, when He formally announced that “He was GOD”. On this occasion He not only explained about the next phase of the subtle form, but also stated that another phase was beginning today, when the doors of “Super-Consciousness” had now opened for anyone and everyone to enter. This was yet another phase in the ongoing Mission of the Triple incarnation of the Sai Avatar. Three Phases The lifespan of Satya Sai Baba can be divided into three distinct transition phases. The first transition occurred in 1940 when at the age of 14 He announced to the world that He was the reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. From that day onwards He assumed the role of the Avatar Satya Sai Baba. He would no longer be known as Satyanarayana Raju, the little “miracle boy” who entertained his peers, classmates and villagers for the last fourteen years. That boy was lost as the “New Avatar” took “birth”. Many still considered Him as another holy man, saint or spiritually enlightened person at that time

not knowing His true reality. Secondly in 1964 at the age of 38, He announced that “I am God”, which represented the second transition phase, where He began to teach and enlighten devotees on the path of spirituality. This period saw many changes, developments and physical infrastructure taking place especially in Prashanti Nilayam, where millions began descending from all corners and parts of the world to get “darshan” of the “Lord of Puttaparthi”. While the first phase lasted for 14 years, the second lasted for 47 years. Thirdly, it was in 2011 when Baba decided to “leave” the physical form at the age of 85, that the next or third phase began. This was when He would take the “subtle form” for the final eleven years until the age of 96. In this phase there would be an enormous change in the speed of the Mission, whereby schools, hospitals, colleges, universities, ashrams, nutritional programs, new educational facilities, research labs, medical outreach programs etc. would expand at an enormous speed and scale, the likes of which have never been seen before, especially in Muddenahalli and the state of Karnataka. In this third phase, huge macro-projects would be taken up with lightning speed in order to help ease

the burden of the poor and needy in the health, educational and nutritional sectors. The speed and scale of these developments was truly remarkable and represented the acceleration of the Mission. While Prashanti Nilayam was a more laid back atmosphere with daily “darshan” and “interviews”, here there was lightening quick growth, expansion and progress at a scale never seen before in the Mission. It was as though Baba was trying to fit one hundred years of “transformation into the last eleven years of His sojourn in the “subtle form”. Everywhere you looked, there was work being done. Multiple projects were simultaneously progressing and the fast pace of development was easily visible for all to see. One could sense that the time for talk and discussion was over and that this third phase was the call to action, construction and development. According to Baba the time for ‘chat, chat, chat” was over. This was the time to be pro-active in setting the stage for the further advancement of His Mission. The year 2022 would be the final year of the “subtle form” of Baba and would represent yet another phase in His Mission where Baba would finally leave the subtle body and form forever having stayed for 96 years on earth.

It was in this year that Sri Madhusudan Sai was also supposed to leave his physical body as well to make way for the next incarnation of Prema Sai Baba to continue the Mission as the third incarnation of the Avatar. But as usual Baba had other plans for Madhusudan and has been previously mentioned Baba can change the rules of the game and make His own rules whenever He decides it is necessary and required for the re-establishment of Dharma throughout the world. After initially being the “Communicator” beginning from 2011, it was on the Guru Purnima day in 2019, that Madhusudan finally “Ascended” to become one with Baba in terms of “BramhaConsciousness” and would now be known as “Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai”. The earlier transition when “Satynarayana Raju” the little boy, had become “Satya Sai Baba” the “Avatar,” had now been repeated again in a similar way on this day, when Madhusudan Naidu the “Communicator” transitioned to “Sri Madhusudan Sai” the “Sadguru.” This would mark a significant new phase in the life of Madhusudan right from being a child, a student, then to being a “Messenger” and a “Vehicle” of Baba and now finally to being a “Sadguru”.

Then in 2022, when Madhusudan was due to leave the physical form, he was granted an “extension” by Baba to continue the good work that he had been doing till now. This also represented another phase in Baba’s “Mission” whereby Madhusudan was granted the responsibility by Baba to continue managing and overseeing the many ongoing projects in India and around the world. Baba have also granted Madhusudan the added responsibility of looking after Prema Sai when He eventually comes to Muddenahalli later on as a student, but more of that later on. For how long this would last and in what capacity, only Baba would finally decide. All that is necessary is for you to make yourself “Available” and Baba would see about the rest in making you “Capable”. “Empty Yourself Of ‘Yourself’ And Become One With The Embodiment Of Divinity Within Yourself.”

6 A “NEW INDIA” BEGINS Transformation Of The Sai Mission (2011-2023) What started off in 1838 with the advent of the first of the triple avatar of Shirdi Sai and then the second of Satya Sai in 1926, was continued with the “subtle body” of Baba from 2011-2022. This will be followed by the advent of Prema Sai, which will then complete the total Sai advent of Shirdi, Satya and Prema. When the Shirdi mission began, it was primarily confined to the small village of Shirdi in Maharashtra. Subsequently, Satya continued it in 1926, starting from the tiny quiet remote village of Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh and eventually spreading to the whole of India and many countries worldwide. With the future advent of Prema, the Mission is slated to cover the whole of humanity across all continents of the earth, as well as across all universes, including and encompassing all beings in the entire creation. The starting point of the Mission in Shirdi can be considered as the “pre-school” or kinder-garden in

the life of a student where Shirdi introduced the concept of “Unity in Diversity” where He brought the community together by being revered simultaneously as a ‘fakir’, ‘saint’ and guru by the villagers representing the Muslim, Christian and Hindu faiths. Puttaparthi could then be likened to the primary school level where Satya crystallised the concept of ‘Bhakti’ and ‘Seva’ to the thousands of devotees that flocked to the ashram daily. He used the medium of ‘darshsan’, ‘satsang’ and the model of programs like Grama Seva, Narayana Seva and free Medical camps to promote this idea of ‘Manava Seva Madhava Seva’ or “Service to Man is Service to God”. He also began building educational institutions and hospitals including the Super-Specialty Hospital whereby free education, health and nutrition for the poor and needy villagers and surrounding communities was provided. All of these programs were meant to inculcate a sense of reverence for each other regardless of what strata of society you came from and to treat everyone with respect and dignity. The advent of the “subtle body in Muddenahalli can be looked at as the secondary school level where the concept of everyone being a part of the divine was

further established via the concept of the Nirguna or formless aspect of creation. In this stage devotees were encouraged and taught how to go beyond the physical external form of the Avatar and instead traverse the internal form of creation through the various levels of consciousness starting with the individual and eventually culminating in the ultimate reality of “Brahman Consciousness” where all of Creation becomes “One” with the “Divine”. The final phase of the Mission with Prema Sai, will be the ultimate stage in the life of a student, which is the Tertiary or University level. Here devotees would be taught that not only they are Divine but that everyone else is also Divine meaning that each and every person is an embodiment of divinity. The difference in this last step would be that students would taught and trained to become divine from an early stage of their lives thus providing a platform for the continuous production of “Divine Souls” for many future generations to come. These “Divine Souls” would then be the forerunner and the “trigger” to lead the rest of humanity unto the path of divinity for centuries to come by spreading, teaching and setting the examples for all to emulate throughout the world.

“Secular vs. Spiritual Education” From entering the “pre-school” to the primary, secondary and tertiary, the student will then have finally completed his training and formal education, to be considered as a fully qualified graduate, who is now ready to take on the world and the rest of life’s challenges equipped with all the necessary worldly knowledge needed to be truly successful in all his endeavours. Such is the formality of what is called “secular education”. The other aspect of education, which is the spiritual aspect must also be looked at in the same manner. Together, these two aspects will integrate, to eventually create what would be a truly well rounded individual, ready to serve the society in whatever capacity he or she would be willing to do so. Sadly, in today’s system of education, the spiritual aspect has been vastly neglected, leading to a very one-sided individual only capable of academic and intellectual skills, but with no knowledge of “Himself,” who “He” is, why “He” has taken birth and what is “His” ultimate goal in life? Consequently, this there is a total lack of moral, ethical, cultural and spiritual values throughout the entire educational system. It is in this aspect that the Sai Mission is especially trying to fill this huge void, by training and creating a values based

system of education in parallel with the normal academic syllabus, in order to ensure that a student of full potential and possibilities is produced at the end of their formal training in school. What started in Puttaparthi with primary, Secondary and University based values education is now continuing in Muddenahalli with an extremely fast paced agenda at all levels. What began with two schools by Madiala Narayana Bhat many decades ago, has now quickly transformed and multiplied into a vast network of not only schools and universities, but also a large network of Super-Specialty Children Hospitals, Special needs Health Programs of mother-child, pre-natal and post-natal facilities. Nutritional school feeding programs, “each-oneeducate-one” past students’ alumni iniatives, establishment of “congenital heart disease specialty hospitals” in foreign countries and lately the establishment of the first ever free medical multi-training hospital facility in India, at the Muddenahalli campus are all further developments which have occurred at a rapid pace of expansion over the last decade. The fast developments in the fields of nutrition, health-care and education together with the many projects which were initially started in Karnataka has now spread its wings to many other states of

the country and will continue to expand at a rapid rate as many more devotees join the Mission. New Educational Campuses Under the astute guidance and leadership of B.N.Narasimha Murthy, Chancellor, Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence and Chief Mentor of the Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Gurukulam group of Institutions, many new facilities came into the fold of the education mission across South India, including 27 campuses across 20 districts of Karnataka and one each in Telangana and Tamil Nadu. The Prashanthi Balamandira Trust (PBT) is a public charitable Trust that came into existence in 1981. It is embedded firmly in the philosophy of ‘Love All Serve All’ and aims to contribute towards all needy individuals by joining hands with its allied Trusts, Foundations and Societies globally, under the umbrella of Sai Global Federation of Foundations (SGFF). The PBT has also recently partnered with and works alongside the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations, by focussing on the four prime areas of Education, Healthcare, Nutrition and Community Service. Leaving not a single person behind is the “Motto” of the institution as it strives to provide the basic

necessities of life, which includes free education to children, free nutrition and healthcare to the needy and also free services to the community that fosters them, without any discrimination what so-ever. The urgent importance of value-based education throughout the entire world is the need of the hour. Education has for the last century and more been confined to the secular or academic aspect of learning which was controlled by the “colonial masters”. No emphasis was given to the cultural or spiritual aspect especially in India, where the core foundation of learning lies in the imparting of spiritual, cultural and religious instruction. This has formed the fundamental basis of all schools of thought and learning throughout the history of Bharat. All this was deliberately removed from the education system by Macaulay and other British politicians when they realised that they could not infiltrate the Gurukul system of education during the colonial era. They purposely made a plan to remove and destroy the identity of Bharatyans by officially removing these aspects from the education syllabus and replace it with their own “perverted” system of secular education.

The plan was simple. Destroy the roots and identity of the Gurukul system by making it illegal to teach spirituality, religion and culture in the schools, thereby reducing the education system to a mere skeleton of academic training alone. From the fields of rice and sugar-cane to the fields of the classroom the goal was one and the same for the former colonisers. One system ensured the physical bondage and slavery through chains on the feet of indentured labourers as slaves, while the other ensured the mental bondage through the mental enslavement of children via the new education syllabus which was now controlled, dominated and run by the British. To have an Indian citizen look physically like an Indian but mentally trained with a British dominated way of thinking was the goal of Macaulay and others. In other words, the hardware was the physical structure of an Indian but the software would be controlled by British algorithms. By training students along the lines of disciplines needed to work in the “Slavic system,” the trap was set whereby the goal was to create a skilled working class to be used for the “Massa” day British raj dominated system in order to control the finance and economy of India.

So, students were trained to be nothing other than human machines or robots” to fit into the system by being mental slaves in the government offices, never to doubt or question anything or anyone, thereby serving to produce a docile non-resistant adolescent youth with absolutely no ambitions in life other than to “serve their masters.” The slavery mentality was transferred from the agricultural fields to the classroom where the whip on the field and the rod in the classroom, would serve as deterrents to any “rebellious thinkers” and “trouble-makers” who dared to think for themselves or opposed the rigid mental Slavic educational system. The damage done to the psyche of generations of Indians was enormous as millions followed blindly whatever was taught to them like sheep following a shepherd. No creativity, thought, imagination, ingenuity, inventiveness, vision or leadership qualities were ever encouraged, taught, fostered or instilled into any student as this would prove to be an immediate threat to the establishment which would eventually destroy their stranglehold on Indians. Even today after 75 years of independence the monstrous impact of that Slavic system of education is still seen today in the form of opposition politicians who openly and sometimes

violently oppose any form of nationalism or nationalistic agenda. It is amazing to see many 60, 70 and 80-year-old politicians who are still stooges and mental slaves of the “British raj” and who are hell-bent on passing on their anti-Indian, anti-Hindu, anti-Bharat venom to the younger generation. Such was the mental scarring on the minds and hearts of that education system on the lives of present day opposition politicians who all passed through that system. It can rightly be said that these are what you call “fake Indians” who look like Indians, “talk” like Indians, eat like Indians, dress like Indians and live like Indians, but who are still totally loyal like slaves to the British Raj. True, but that is the present day sad reality. Thank God that the present government has decided to reverse that trend and have finally redesigned the education system throughout the country although it is still being opposed by the “British raj” politicians in opposition governed states. There used to be almost 100% literacy throughout the length and breadth of Bharat before the British and Islamic invasions, but they both collectively destroyed thousands of temples Gurukuls, schools, universities and education system in a bid to

completely wipe out the Hindu religion, spirituality, philosophy and way of life. Takshashila, the first and largest university in the world in northern Punjab was burnt together with millions of books. It took many months for it to be destroyed due to its massive size. This was done to destroy the knowledge and culture of Bharat. However, one thousand years and more later, Hindus are still standing, wounded yes, but still upright, striving, surviving and determined more than ever before to re-establish their dharma and presence in India and the rest of the world. Bharat is reviving at a rapid rate faster than ever before on a global level and at a speed and scale never imagined before in the last 1000 years. There is a new resurgence in the youth as the revamped education system is starting to take root in the minds and hearts of the children and youth of Bharat. A new refreshing spirit and wave of Bharatyan culture and identity has sparked a new vision amongst many Indians across the world and everyone is now holding their heads high as the light and dawn of a new Bharat emerges from the ancient past much like the lotus flower emerges from the mud and slush of the ponds and lakes, rising above the murky mundane existence to bloom in all its fragrance for all

humanity to experience and enjoy. The new education system will re-establish the Dharmic principles of righteous living and will pave the way for the resurgence of Bharat to become the Vishwa guru once more. This is presently the new education system that is being taught and driven in Muddenahalli and throughout India right now and this will usher in the new “Golden Age” of enlightenment as students truly become spiritually enlightened during their many years of schooling. This is what had transpired in the past and this is what is going to occur in the future coming years as Bharat returns to its days of an ancient glorious past. So, join the mission of the restoration of the ancient Dharmic Bharatyan culture by doing whatever you can to assist in this continuing saga of the Sai Mission. Wherever you are, wherever you may reside, work or travel, become a beacon of light to assist the Avatar in the rebuilding of the ancient highway to dharma and righteousness in the world. This is your chance to do something which will make your children and future generations proud to say, “My mother, father, uncle, aunt etc. were part of the Sai Mission that helped restored the

ancient culture of Bharat as the eternal light of the world. The architecture and majestic beauty of every one of these structures is simply astounding to say the least and these have all been designed to last for the next 1000 years. No one who sees these buildings of majestic art can fail to be totally overawed and impressed by the experience and joy it gives.

Bharat is truly being prepared to be the Vishwa Guru for the next 1000 years. There is no doubt about it. Baba had stated earlier in His discourses that this would happen and it is now finally taking place for all to see. Foreign Institutions Sri Satya Sai School Laos… Toogoolawa Australia… Embodiment of Love Academy Nigeria… Upcoming Institutions Udipi……SSS Ananyanniketanam Mysore ……SSS Ananaaniketanam Shivamogga………SSS Sarvaniketanam Belgavi………..SSS Nithiyaniketanam With Sri Madhusudan and B.N. Narsimhamurthy spearheading this part of the Sai mission there is absolutely no doubt that the Mission of the restoration of dharma throughout Bharat and the rest of the world via the education system is well and truly secured and is destined to succeed. The goal is to establish one Educational Institution throughout every single district of India which will

mean well over 600 schools will have to be built in the coming years. These schools will be set up as role models for the other institutions to follow as an example of how to restore the secular and spiritual cohesive system of education for the re-establishment of the New Bharat. The future of Bharat therefore lies in the majestic hands of Baba and His chosen instruments and the future looks to be bright as ever and one to eagerly look forward to in the coming years by all Bharatyans and citizens of the world as Bharat’s rightful place and position in the world is finally restored. Health With respect to the health sector, the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Centres and Hospitals have been established under the dynamic leadership of Dr. C. Srinivasan, who has worked tirelessly to establish many hospitals and medical centres throughout India and the world at large. Everyone knows about the enormous business oriented machine that health has become in the capitalistic world, where health-care is no longer considered as a service to the people, but rather as a gigantic capitalist commercial enterprise throughout the entire world.

So, when the SSS Sanjeevani Centres threw their doors open in Nava Raipur for the first time catering for free Congenital Heart Disease operations for children, the world stood up and took notice. Were they hearing the correct thing, that these operations would be totally free of cost with absolutely no billing counter at the front desk? Something must be drastically wrong with these people who are doing promoting and carrying out these operations? They must be out of their mind. Who in their right senses would do free operations together with pre and post-operative care in this day and age. Surely, this can’t be true. But, yes it is true! To understand the logic, reasons and understanding of the Sai Health Mission one must look back at the history of Bharat for a little while. See, it wasn’t too long ago, a few hundred years actually, when education, health and food was actually free of cost throughout Bharat and I deliberately say Bharat, because the word India was not known yet to the world. This was pre-colonial and even pre-Islamic invasion times. This was the time when Bharat truly ruled the world in terms of economics, trade, finance, education, arts, philosophy, education, spiritualty, culture, dance, fine arts, architecture, science, medicine, mathematics and many other areas.

During this period of history education was provided totally free of cost via the Gurukul system throughout the country in temples and ashrams. Food was also provided free for anyone who faced famine or hunger via the temples who regularly and daily gave free meals to any pilgrims or anyone desirous of partaking and especially to those who could not have afforded it. Likewise, the Ayurveda system of medicine provided herbal remedies and cures for almost every single disease known to man and there were any number of Ayurveda practitioners in every single village throughout Bharat, so there was no need to go to any doctor when these herbalists were abundant everywhere free of cost to anyone including children, adults and pregnant mothers. All were taken care of speedily and effectively. Fast forward to today’s health system where one of the biggest medical scandals presently plaguing the world is the concept of caesarean section or as is popularly known now as C-section. This practice was unheard of in the past where the baby is considered as having breached a terminology used in many medical centres to justify C-sections operations which cost an enormous amount of money to do. Almost every single mother has to go through this procedure now as it is common practice in all medical institutions.

But the truth of the matter is that the village female elders use to always handle these situations without ever having to go by a doctor. Years of experience and practice had provided these elders with all the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully deal with these situations on a regular basis for all mothers in the villages. Everyone knows the scam that is going on in these medical institutions but as yet no government has had the will-power to implement any kind of legislation to prevent these kind of white-collar crimes and malpractices in the world, since literally every person involved is making huge amounts of money and getting rich off the poor and vulnerable. To think that such a noble profession which is compared and likened to God has now been tarnished to a great extent for the sake of economic aggrandisement is truly sickening and disgusting to say the least. But that is the sad reality that most expectant mothers have to face in these so-called “modern” times. Documentaries and reality movies based on true stories have been made over the years on this matter but nothing has changed, as the system continues to tolerate and accept these white-collar crimes. This is just but one example of the financial scams and atrocities being forced on the unsuspecting public from many medical institutions.

It has reached a stage today where many students now enter the medical profession with the sole intention of making money and not to save patients’ lives. It is a far cry from the so-called western “Hippocrates oath” that students take upon the completion of their medical education and enter into the field of work. It can be said that this oath has now become the “Hypocrites oath”. Who can blame the public for thinking about doctors now as only medical-businessmen and women, the bottom line being the financial gains to be made from this so-called “noble” profession. The respect has by far and large been severely eroded for the medical profession as a service oriented profession and it will be almost impossible to reverse or change this trend of thinking and practice in the near future. It is for precisely this reason that the SSS Sanjeevani Hospitals were constructed by Sri Madhusudan Sai and his few dedicated band of brothers and sisters who have devoted their entire lives to the service of the poor and needy. It takes tremendous fortitude, strength, courage, bravery and visionary foresight to be able to embark on such a mission of providing free health-care to the rural villages throughout the entire country.

Baba had begun this mission in the early 1990’s with the establishment of the Super-Specialty Hospital in Puttaparthi and later in Bangalore, but this has been scaled up many times over with Dr. C Srinivasan spear-heading this mission. He was also involved in the construction of the previous hospitals at Puttaparthi and Bangalore. As with all things, there are always exceptions to the rule and although the medical profession has taken many negative hits over the years, it must be said that there still many medical doctors and other health-care professionals who have not succumbed to this money “craze” and have remained true to their oath and to themselves in continuing to serve their fellow-man on a daily basis. It is in tribute to them that we honour those individuals and organisations who have managed to maintain their integrity in the midst of this financial “storm” and who have emerged out of it unscathed and unblemished in their careers. We truly salute those persons who have not fallen “prey” to the glamour and glitz of western capitalism and who have kept the spirit of Bharat alive by serving humanity and remaining true to the ideals of their most noble profession of saving peoples’ lives first and foremost. By engaging and partnering with these individuals it is envisioned that a new vision of Medicaid will take birth and a new dawn of health-care

professionals will emerge in the future like a butterfly from its cocoon. A new example must be set for others to follow especially the young students presently in the medical schools and colleges and it is for this very reason that a free medical training hospital has been established in Muddenahalli, where students can study free of cost for their entire tenure of studies including post graduate studies. The only stipulated condition for these students is that they must serve in the rural villages upon graduation for the same period of time they studied at the institution in order to assist in caring for the vulnerable, poor and needy. This free medical training facility is the first of its kind in India and probably the world and has no parallel whatsoever. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself came to inaugurate the hospital and was deeply impressed with its vision and mission of providing free medical training for students who will eventually go out into the society to serve the poor and needy in the villages. A unique feature of the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospitals is its comprehensive and holistic approach to healthcare as apart from curated service.
