Leading Student of Green Heart to Give Speech about
Sustainability in Empower Youth Meeting

The leading student of Green Heart, Akarapan Taweesak was appointed as youth ambassador for
sustainable development goals (SDGs) and to give special presentation about sustainable
development goals, modern trend, and Thailand with sustainable development goals for aspiring
youths in the Empowering Youth Meeting held by Young Thai for Sustainable Development
Assembly (YSDA) on 25 January 2021. The special presentation was delivered Online on ZOOM
application for youths inspired by sustainability. The meeting was aimed to be exchanging forum
for knowledge and experience as well as to encourage cooperation in the network both
domestically and internationally and will eventually elevate the environmental quality and
sustainability of Thai universities as role model for sustainable development. This activity worked
in accordance with SDG 2030 article 17: to build cooperation in university network for
sustainable development.

Leading Student of Green Heart Represents Thai Youth
in The Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program

The leading student of Green Heart, Akarapan Taweesak was chosen as student represent for the
46.1 Next Generation Leaders Conference in the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program :
SSEAYP along with other representatives from ASEAN countries and Japan (total of 11 countries
present). The conference was held for 4 sessions on 24 and 31 January then on 7 and 21
February 2021. The conference was held Online via ZOOM application as per defensive measure
against COVID-19 pandemic. The participants attended the conference to share their knowledge
and experience from various countries and encouraged the extensive cooperation of the
network to the academic fields both domestically and internationally and will eventually elevate
the environmental quality and sustainability of Thai universities as role model for sustainable
development. This activity worked in accordance with SDG 2030 article 17: to build cooperation
in university network for sustainable development.

"The 1st Comprehensive Course in Japanese,
Business Innovation Program 2021" Project

On 1 February 2021, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok, together with the
Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) organized a training course for students in
the fields of science, technology and engineering for students of 1st-4th year of King Mongkut's
University of Technology Thonburi, Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering, and The
Institute of Field Robotics, in order to be ready to enter the industrial labor market under the
project "The Comprehensive Course in Japanese Business Innovation Program 2021". The nature
of the project is Followers that train to provide 9 times of soft skill and Hard skills continuously.
After the training, there will be an innovation contest. Teams who score in the 1st and 2nd place
of each university, will be eligible to enter the final for scholarships and get the study trips to
Japan in the form of Educational Trip. This time, it is a training on the topic of “Team
Collaboration Workshop Presentation Skill”.

Green Heart Online Camp under the Concept
of “Green School Network:
Green Heart Junior”

Leading students of Green Heart led the activity, Green Heart Online Camp under the concept of
“Green School Network: Green Heart Junior” as an online event. On 14 February 2021, the
student team led the activities to propagate the knowledge in energy conservation,
environment, safety, and awareness toward health and climate change to the communities, and
schools through their attending members. It was expected that such understanding in energy
conservation, environment, and safety will grow and beneficially affect the surrounding
communities as sustainable improvement to the nation. The activity was held on ZOOM
application to comply with social distancing measure and KMUTT New Normal policy. The
activity interested students and teachers nationwide and had accommodated more than 200
participants. As a result, the Green School Network has extended even more.

Teacher Day Quote 2021 from Prime Minister “New normal

On 1 March 2021, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology KMUTT launched Professional
Teacher Project focus on Teacher Day Quote 2021 from Prime Minister “New normal teacher
focus on digitalize technology and create national morality using on line events by ZOOM. This
event aim to promote the relationship between students and teachers and feedback
mechanism by using communication platform from both side and experience sharing from
teacher and supporting staff to make students proud to be professional teacher in a next future
. Activities from the event are Outstanding Teacher Awards from student vote; Outstanding
Supporting Awards and The Excellent Voluntary Student Awards announcement along with
special talks from the outstanding teacher. 1,413 students and staff join this event which
supports the SDG 4 Quality Education.

Industrial Education KMUTT organized human
competency training according to professional

standards and professional qualifications

Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) in cooperation with the
Department of Industrial Education, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King
Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, organized human competence training according
to professional standards and professional qualifications, Group of personnel in the industrial
ecosystem. The objective is to support the trainees to be able to upgrade their skills and learn
new skills (Up-Skill and Re-Skill) according to professional standards, to support the development
of professional personnel in potential key industries that will become the new growth engine of
the country, to lead the development of professional qualifications, and to further increase the
competitiveness of the industry. A total of 60 people attended the training.

EESH Held Basic Firefighting Training,
Department of Chemical Engineering at

KMUTT Bangmod campus

Energy Environment Safety and Health Center (EESH) held the basic firefighting training as per
standard of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (Ministry of Labour) for
management and other staffs along with the students of the Department of Chemical
Engineering, KMUTT, Bangmod campus on 2 April 2021 at Jamras-Chayapong meeting hall,
building 2. The basic firefighting training was given by Thung Khru fire station. The attendees
should be able to fight fire at a minimal scale. The workshop had over 150 attendees.

EESH Held Workshop for Energy
Environment and Health Management System

at KMUTT, Bangmod Campus

Energy Environment Safety and Health Center (EESH) organized a workshop on Energy
Environment and Health Management System for its staffs and contractors at KMUTT Bangmod
campus, on 20 March 2021 and 3 April 2021. The workshops were to raise awareness in KMUTT
New Normal policy, including energy management system, waste management, Thailand lab
safety standard, and emergency response protocol within the university to the related staffs
(which comprise cleaning, security, maintenance, and gardening staffs). The workshop was led
by lecturer from EESH center and core students from Green Heart. The workshop was aimed to
improve understanding in the KMUTT system for seamless operation within the university and
prime it for becoming the sustainable and green university. The workshop had over 200
attendees.

seminar to prepare professional standards and professional

qualifications for rail transportation

On 8 April 2021, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi by the Faculty of Industrial
Education and Technology, together with the Training Center of State Railway of Thailand,
assigned by the Institute of Professional Qualifications (Public Organization) to organize a
seminar to invite participants in the preparation of professional standards and professional
qualifications and professional qualifications in the rail transportation system profession 1)
Locomotive driver 2) Road maintenance driver at Safety Ed. Center, SRT Training Center,
Chatuchak District, Bangkok. The objective is to create an understanding of the professional
qualifications system and clarify the project objectives. The seminar was honored by Asst. Prof.
(Special) Dr. Siripong Pruitthiphan, Deputy Governor of Locomotive and Wheeled Maintenance
Business Group., State Railway of Thailand, and Dr. Noppadon Piyatrapoom, Director of the
Institute of Professional Qualifications, presided over the seminar. Such seminar invited
stakeholders in the professional field, both public and private agencies, professional personnel,
and experts in the professional field, related organizations involved in professional fields such as
the Department of Rail Transport. More than 50 people from government agencies and the
private sector participated in the event and have followed strictly the measures to prevent the
spread of the COVID-19 virus.

FSci Alumni career day and networking 2021
and Post Training for fourth year student .

On 26 April 2021 ,Faculty of Science KMUTT held the FSci Alumni career day and networking
2021 and Post Training for fourth year student using online activity by ZOOM. This on line event
aim to initiate university – industry networking with FSCI Alumni who are the owner or
collaborate with the potential industries who want to collaborate KMUTT by using industry as a
training site and also will be a stakeholder to use our student to work after graduation. More
than 20 industries join the event and recruit our 4th year students to work in their industry in
this events. Also the Freshman of Faculty of Science will know their career path with the
impression on their Alumni activities. More than 1,000 students join the event which supports
the SDG 4 Quality Education SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and SDG 17
Partnership for the Goals.

FIET EXHIBITION AND POST TRAINING PROJECT 2020
focus on Preparation to go to work
under the COVID19 pandemic .

On 3 May 2021, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology KMUTT launched FIET
EXHIBITION AND POST TRAINING PROJECT 2020 using on line events by ZOOM. This event aims
to help the students know the post COVID-19 Trends of Business and works including how to
prepare themselves to go to work under the COVID-19 pandemics. In this event has a special
lecture from Super Resume Co.Ltd. By Mr. Krissapas Na.Pattalung in the topic of “Graduate
preparation for Post COVID with Impressive Resume Writing :Get A job after Gradate” . FIET
EXHIBITION 2020 also showed the innovative and impressive project from the fourth year
students. 914 students join the event which supports the SDG 4 Quality Education SDG 9
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure .

The 2nd SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2021 focus
on Innovative Science Curriculum

On 8 May 2021, Faculty of Science KMUTT launched The 2nd SCIENCE EXHIBITION 2021 using
on line events by ZOOM. This event aims to promote the Innovative Science Curriculum for
High school students as target groups.145 high school students join this event and give a good
response by joining the admission process for Faculty of Science KMUTT. This event supports
the SDG 4 Quality Education and SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

On July 2, 2021, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, by Social Lab with
collaboration Continuing Education Center held the ceremony 8th Training – Interning Project for
Disabled person to prepare working organization via zoom online. This activity received honor by
Advisor to President is open speech and The President of Training – Interning Project, King
Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi to speak welcome. This year held the training 3
courses on July 1 – December 31, 2021 via Zoom meeting. There is pass to participate totally 56
people.

“Love Culture with the Green World”

The Energy Environment Safety and Health Office (EESH) organized the 2021 Loy Krathong Rak
Lok Theme “Love Culture with the Green World” on November 19th, 2021. Green Heart students
are the leader on handling the” Natural materials Krathong Workshop” taught by folk wisdom
from the community surround.More than 100 KMUTT students and staff made environmentally-
friendly Krathong using natural waste materials from coconut shells and orchids supported by
the Phuttha Bucha community. This activity complies with SDG 12:Responsible Consumption
and Production,SDG 13:Climate Action and SDG 14:Life below water.

Administration, paid a courtesy visit to KMUTT. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assoc.
Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, KMUTT President, together with Dr. Kanyawim Kirtikara, Senior Vice
President for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang, Vice President KM
for Internationalisation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chonlameth Arpnikanondt, Associate Dean for

Luxembourg visited the department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, the Joint
Graduate School of Energy and Environment (JGSEE) and the Institute of Field Robotics (FIBO) as
