Mall of the Emirates is a shopping mall in Dubai,
developed and owned by Majid Al
Futtaim Properties. The multi-level shopping mall
features more than 630 retail outlets, 7900 parking
spaces, over 100 restaurants and cafés, 80 luxury
stores and 250 flagship stores. It has a total gross
leasable area of 255,489 square meters. In 2017,
Forbes named Mall of the Emirates as one of the
top five shopping malls in Dubai.

IEMS executed this project as a Joint Venture called
Voltas – IEMS JV.

Voltas was responsible for execution of
Airconditioning and Ventilation Works whereas
IEMS was responsible for Electrical, Fire Alarm,
Plumbing, Drainage & Fire Protection Works.

RGIA is the first Indian airport to have the Airport
97 Operations Control Centre, the nerve centre for all
coordination within the airport.

RGIA is also the first airport in the world to get the
Leadership Energy and Environment Design (LEED) ‘Silver’
rating for its eco-friendly design.

The main EPC contractors were Larsen & Toubro for
airside and landside works, and China State Construction
& Engineering (Hong Kong) for the construction of the
passenger terminal building and the ATC Tower.
