ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has created many problems, especially in the global economy. The peak of
the pandemic is estimated to reach 3.78 million people affected by covid 19 and the percentage of
unemployment has increased. Besides, the Small Scale Industry (UMKM) is going bankrupt in
Indonesia by as much as 20%. Therefore, this innovation appears to implement the use of the
platform as a sustainable start-up entrepreneur with the online Marketplace. An online marketplace is
a platform that acts as an intermediary between sellers and buyers on the internet. The marketplace of
the Indonesian government has different advantages from the currently developed platform, such as
Tokopedia. Tokopedia has the advantages of having many features that aim to facilitate transactions
and have benefits for the whole community to provide development innovations in conducting a
trade, while the government's Marketplace is currently not widely known in the practical application
of buying and selling systems. Therefore, this article discussed Developing Online Shopping In the
Marketplace. It was a kind of research that used Research and Development Design (R & D). The
subject of this research was Small Scale Industries in Mojokerto, Indonesia. The first step of this
research was doing need analysis by using questionnaire as an instrument. Based on the result of this
questionnaire, researchers developed Online Shop in the Marketplace In conclusion, by creating an
online shop in the marketplace, it can reduce the percentage of unemployment and improve the
economy in the post-pandemic era of the world.

ABSTRACT

In the world's education, the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic made 61 countries decide to close
schools from elementary to tertiary levels. According to data published by UNESCO in 2020, there
are approximately 1.5 billion million students worldwide who have to carry out teaching and learning
activities from home. Besides, 463 million students were unable to do online learning because of the
lack of technology. This fact can be regarded as a learning disruption that affects their competence
and educational achievement. The implementation strategy and curriculum design is an important
aspect to be considered in the education sector in overcoming learning disruption. This study showed
an overview of the Merdeka curriculum in overcoming learning disruption by providing an effective
adjustment of the more simple, independent, relevant, interactive and has a wider range of learning
methods. The research method used is a descriptive survey model with a random sampling technique
with primary data collection techniques through questionnaires or surveys on students, educators, and
education units. The results of the study showed that the Merdeka curriculum is more simple and
more in-depth because this curriculum focuses on essential materials and the development of
students’ competencies. In addition, students are also given the freedom to choose subjects according
to their interests, talents, and aspirations which can increase their learning passion. In conclusion, the
implementation of the merdeka curriculum can reduce learning disruption in the COVID-19 post-
pandemic.

ABSTRACT

The Covid-19 pandemic has a massive impact on all countries in the world, including Indonesia. This
pandemic affects all aspects of life, especially in the socio-economic aspect which ultimately has an
impact on increasing unemployment. In this case, the Indonesian government has made a policy by
multiplying employment opportunities expansion programs, establishing entrepreneurship training
and guidance, and direct cash assistance for MSMEs to restore the economy. However, in this all-
digital era, there are still many entrepreneurs who haven't been able to maximize the marketing of
their products through marketing 4.0 and still use traditional marketing so that their MSMEs are not
optimal. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of marketing 4.0 in maximizing the
potential of MSMEs. This study used an experimental method, in which researchers analyzed
marketing 4.0 and traditional marketing, then compared the effectiveness of both of them. The
primary data sources of the research used were taken from the results of surveys and interviews, while
the secondary data were taken from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency. The object of this
research is MSME entrepreneurs in Mojokerto, Indonesia who uses marketing 4.0 and some MSME
entrepreneurs that still use traditional marketing by using random sampling. The results of the
research showed that in the digital and the industrial era 4.0, marketing 4.0 is an effective marketing
technique to expand market reach and consumers, so that the potential of MSMEs in Indonesia can be
maximized.

POVERTY today has become a major issue surrounding countries around the world. So much so that
governments and international organizations have deemed the matter a top global priority, enlisting
numerous policies and strategies to deal with the situation. However, the outbreak of the COVID-19
pandemic has added more uncertainties to these reduction efforts. Fighting for survival is the top
concern of the poor now. That is why we, a group of four students from team Vietnam 1 decided to
conduct this study to find out the current state of developing countries including Vietnam, and ways to
help boost their economies through the post-pandemic phase. Secondary data and archival material will
be collected and analyzed to thoroughly investigate the topic so that to gain deeper insight into the
situation of poverty and the global endeavors to tackle the problem. Our team will try to give an account
of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on poverty status. Then we will delve into the ways and
means these countries have for coping with the post-pandemic situation. Finally, we will point out the
absolute necessity for governments, international organizations, and individuals to join hands to help
people escape poverty.

ABSTRACT

Covid-19 pandemic has swept across the globe for more than 02 years, battered the world economy,
jeopardized the lives of millions of people and changed our lifestyles. Now, with the latest widespread
vaccination covered for people, Covid 19 is gradually becoming endemic. Out of many changes
associated with the pandemic when in full swing previously and now as endemic, our team has
conducted a research on change in jobs and career. The purpose of our research paper is to provide
insights and broader understanding of career sustainability and the emergence of new career paths. We
use exploratory methodology in our research, starting with defining career sustainability and its
connection to SDG9. Then, we will illustrate how the pandemic has changed the career landscape as
well as how the career trend has developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. With this fast change like
this, it comes to the question whether students in Vietnam have been well-prepared for this? Our team
has conceptualized our data survey and collection on this question, supporting our findings on what
they’ve already been equipped for or what they still lack and need to upskill themselves. Gone are the
days when people could pick a career path and stick to it for the rest of their working ages. Students
now should take up the challenges arising out of Covid time, properly interpret the work requirements,
willing to lifelong learn new things, flexible to adapt themselves in a rapidly evolving labor market,
and this part will wrap up our research.

ABSTRACT

Over the past few years, COVID-19 has emerged as the most universal health and socio-economic
crisis in history. As the world addresses this highly transmissible and lethal infection, effective
vaccines have been produced and gone to deployment in such a record time. However, the success
against the pandemic so far is dented by inadequate vaccine supply among different countries, areas
and populations and the widespread vaccine hesitancy. The goal of this research is to examine the
underlying causes of vaccine inequity and solutions to tackle this problem. The paper is divided into
five chapters; 1) background study of vaccine equity: the definition and meaning of vaccine equity, 2)
research goal: to understand the fundamental imperative of vaccine equity in general, 3) research on
the reality of vaccine inequity in the ongoing fight against COVID-19, 4) research on recent
remarkable efforts to resolve the issue of the current global vaccine disparity. It is hoped that this
research would provide an insight into the present situation of vaccine inequity and urgent measures
on how to close the global vaccine equity gap.

ABSTRACT

The WHO in March 2020 declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global pandemic. It was followed by the
implementation of activity restriction policies such as lockdown and social distancing, which led to
school closures. This significantly affects a crisis for students. Beyond falling behind on their
education, many students are experiencing difficulty in the learning process. This study aimed to find
out the relation between online learning and learning loss among high school students from 6
countries: Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Brazil, and the United Kingdom by
comparing their academic performances before the pandemic (2019), during the pandemic (2022-
2021) and after the pandemic (2022). This study is based on data from a survey and interview of some
respondents on the range of age 15 to 18 years old. The results stated that most students are
experiencing a loss of learning caused by some factors such as the lack of facilities, knowledge, and
study motivation, internet connection problems, as well as facing a lot of distractions during studying
at home. In order to avert the loss covid generation, we're creating a study program consisting of high
schoolers students where we can share our knowledge to other students called Tutor Sebaya Program.
This program will be our solution to end the learning loss and create the learning gain.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic brought serious impacts on economic sectors. This was getting worse as the
countries imposed an emergency public activity restriction. The suspended economic activities
rendered many sectors of the economy inoperable. The employers, employees and the potential buyers
had gotten the major impacts as they tightly isolated themselves due to the prevention of the spread of
the deadly disease of the Covid 19. This study was aimed at describing and on analyzing the best
practices on how countries had risen from adversity due to the severe COVID-19 pandemic impacts.
The study focused on dealing with the impacts of the pandemic of some countries. The subjects of the
study were three governments of the three countries in Asia: Indonesia, India, and China. As the study
was a descriptive quantitative study, the data were presented in qualitative and quantitative ones to
support the findings. From the study it was found that the gradual moves of the governments seriously
revived their broken economic sectors to get rid from the bad impacts the pandemic brought.

ABSTRACT

In 2020, the world experienced a crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus, and it has caused many
impacts such as social, economic, and education crises. Regarding this situation, the government has
begun to set various policies to deal with the crises caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some
countries respond quickly to the resulting crisis, while other countries tend to be slow. The
government's initial steps in responding to COVID-19 certainly had a significant impact during the
pandemic and the post-pandemic period. With this research, we analyze the policies set by the
government in various countries to find the right policies and solutions. So that they can be used as
references and can be carried out by other countries that are still having difficulty entering the
endemic period. We conducted research on five countries that were in the world's spotlight during the
COVID-19 pandemic. These countries are Indonesia, India, Italy, China, and the United States of
America. Of the five countries, we analyze by comparing the terms of their government policies, how
the society responds to these policies, and the impact of implementing these policies. To get definite
data, we conducted research through the official website of the government of that country. From our
analysis, countries that are quick to respond by setting good policies to the crisis caused by the
COVID-19 pandemic will enter the endemic period more quickly. Meanwhile, countries that tend to
be slow will find it difficult to restore their country to enter an endemic period.

ABSTRACT

The rising economic concerns caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic with inflation hitting the roof,
life has become very difficult for people. Now that we are coming out of the shadows of COVID 19,
there has been a discussion on Post-Pandemic Recovery and Outlook [SDG 8]. We could observe the
impact of the recession worldwide and so our research. The aim of our research has been to find out if
securing a job post pandemic has been easy, whether the wages have improved, and people's opinion
on initiatives by the government. We conducted a on how to bring back the economy to shape and to
normalize the financial position at national and as well as at a personal level. Most of the respondents
were young adults because they are the future of our nation. People revealed many problems which
they had faced during the pandemic and are still facing. A comparative analysis of the same was done.
The close observation of the survey made us see varied answers - one of the respondents said that he
will encourage his mother to take up a job while another respondent suggested that new career paths
should be promoted. We also interviewed different people to know their stand on our theme. As a
result of the interviews and survey we observed that despite all the optimism that prevails in our
country, people are still finding it difficult to stabilize their finance and household expenditure due to
the fluctuation of the economy.

ABSTRACT

Our team conducted research on the topic “Career Sustainability And The Emergence of New Career
Paths (SDG9)”. The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost every aspect of our lives. There was
widespread disruption in numerous industries and institutions, forcing many businesses to shut down.
We conducted a survey to collect primary data from the general public regarding the impact of the
pandemic on their respective careers and whether their choice of career has been altered post
pandemic. We prepared a short questionnaire and conducted interviews of people who have switched
careers. Many of the respondents started their own business and freelancing also came up as a major
profession, as it allowed them space for freedom and creativity, flexible working hours and a personal-
professional balance. The popular opinion was that career opportunities have expanded post pandemic
because even though a few doors closed, people started finding keys to other ones. Seeing the ongoing
situation, their preferred line of work was to either start their own business, get employed, freelance,
try social media influencing, get involved in social work or health care services. Nearly 42% of people
believe that the newfound career opportunities have long term career security. As a result of the
interviews and surveys we conducted, we found that the leading thought among the public was that
when their sources of income were hindered, they started thinking of new ways to earn a living.

ABSTRACT

This abstract mostly covers how we can establish the “Economic Recovery” after the Pandemic comes
to an end. Primarily, we should increase investment by providing direct capital injections through
investment, loans, and grants. This would provide profit for the governments while also helping their
economic politics in the long run. Besides, governments can inject their capital into the banking
system to encourage people to invest. We can also incorporate increasing activity through private
partnership structures into their economic policies. This would establish a steady partnership between
the government and private companies. We can promote domestic spending on domestically produced
goods and services by means of tax-rebate checks, stimulus checks, low-interest rates, and increased
tariffs on imports. This would provide massive revenue for the government to create economic
recovery. Reducing taxes on businesses would be a great action to be taken by the government since
it would encourage companies to produce goods. Moreover, it would encourage them to make
investments. It would raise the income from the exports, with the added bonus of an increase in money
circulation. We should also create a strong enabling environment for the geniuses across the country.
It would encourage talented people to invent and it would become a great source of income since the
exportation of new technological goods is one of the most profitable types of exportation all around
the world.

ABSTRACT

As we all know, humanity has gone through a rough patch over the past couple of years. In the two
years since SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 began to spread rapidly across the globe,
many people have had to become familiar with new words. It is one of pandemics and antibodies,
rapid tests, and vaccination rates. However, as the pandemic kept continuing, another word has been
added to the collective lexicon: endemic. With the virus unlikely to disappear, global health experts
want people to think of COVID-19 as an endemic disease, not a pandemic. At its most basic, endemic
disease is one with a constant, predictable, or expected presence. Endemic diseases infect millions of
people across the world each year, and some endemic diseases claim hundreds of thousands of lives.
Some we can treat and vaccinate against. Yet they can also cause unexpected outbreaks and significant
suffering. Among the many forms endemic disease can take, one thing is clear: Endemic does not
mean the end of the disease. Instead, it means living with, and often managing, a disease that has not
been, or cannot be, stamped out. Health experts say that countries must use control measures, like
testing, treatments, and vaccinations, to keep endemic diseases in check. Therefore, our main purpose
in this research and symposium will be to raise awareness and form adequate consciousness on the
matter. Furthermore, we are going to come up with solutions and suggestions for the governments to
put into effect.

ABSTRACT

This abstract mostly covers the effects of the Covid 19 Virus on Technology, the new career paths it
created, and how the industry was affected. Also, we will look at the changes in the workforce and
occupations post-Covid 19. The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed lives worldwide, and one of
the biggest changes happened in the business world. It accelerated existing trends in remote work, e-
commerce, and automation with up to 25% more workers switching occupations. In addition, a
significant increase in online shopping prompted a notable rise in the choice of some occupations too.
During the pandemic, many workers shifted to remote work. After switching to remote work, the
working class started adopting Artificial intelligence and automation at a faster pace. A disadvantage
is that negotiations, critical business decisions, brainstorming sessions, providing sensitive feedback,
and on-boarding new employees became harder and less effective than before. Also, we can see a
change in employees’ working habits too. According to a survey, 78% of the attendants chose the
layout which consists of three days online working per week. Moreover, technology and digital
engineering companies were more than happy to jump on the opportunity. Programs like Zoom,
Microsoft Teams, and many others skyrocketed as demand was at an all-time high, leading to
hundreds following their trail and creating their own programs.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to investigate the leading causes of small businesses closing during the pandemic in
order to suggest the best course of action they should follow in the post-pandemic phase. A survey
conducted involving more than 5800 businesses was used in the research to get the robust findings.
The outcomes indicate that pandemic was a massive dislocation and generating enough revenue is the
biggest post-pandemic challenge that employers are facing. We conclude that the industry or the
financial weakness of small businesses can make it difficult for them to survive the pandemic and
post-pandemic phase. However business leaders, fiscal policy makers, or the community can do their
part to support small businesses during the crisis.

ABSTRACT

The pandemic has impacted people all over the world, but children might be the most impacted ones.
We lost almost two years of education because of COVID-19 and we have to turn this around. An
action must be taken immediately to clear out the worst effects of the pandemic. Our aim is to
minimize the side effects of the pandemic on children. Their mental and physical health should be the
priority. Then comes the need for intensive support to recover lost education, since online education
has led to unfinished learning. The more actions we take, the fewer children will be affected by
COVID-19. Only by enforcing a well thought of program, we can achieve our goals. UNICEF’s “six
point plan to protect children” is the best. Therefore, by applying that plan, all children will have
equal opportunities in education and they will get over the challenges. Every child will have the
assurance to stay healthy by getting vaccinated and having access to clean water, sanitation, etc.
Decreasing child poverty and increasing the efforts to protect the families and the children in need,
will be nothing but helpful on our objective. Despite the economic developments in Covid-19, it is
obvious that this situation threatens humanity when agricultural production and health care creates
difficulties in an emergency. Consequently, COVID-19 pandemic created an education crisis which
robbed many students of the opportunities to learn what they were expected to and caused them to
lose skills they had already gained.

ABSTRACT

The study was conducted to examine global acceptance and prejudice of vaccine equity regarding
Covid-19. The vaccination process started in advanced economies such as the USA and EUAs at the
beginning of the pandemic crisis. People from these nations were willing to reduce the side effects on
the economy and daily life. The predicted effects were the rise in deaths and irreversible diseases.
Meanwhile, fresh vaccines did not even reach emerging economies. African countries' inability to
access vaccines made them manufacture their supplies. Consequently, this has led to a rise in national
debt. Even though these low-income countries wanted to make an impact on Covid-19 vaccines,
pharmaceutical companies and governments of high-income countries have proclaimed uncertainty
over the ability of manufacturers in those countries. Vaccination has always had a precious part in our
lives. In this project, we led the way through what had been done correctly and what had been done
wrongly.

ABSTRACT

In this new era, the world is changing and technology thrives on with it. With the expansion of this
unprecedented digital world, new career models emerge and current ones accord with this new life.
With that being said, especially for IT-related careers which changed their working methods tend to
work remotely more than before. Furthermore, like what happened in the pandemic, most of the
companies now prefer online meetings to not lose much time and be more efficient. At the same time,
many web 2.0 tools or applications have emerged instead of the old orthodox methods. What’s more is
that, now, some countries in Europe even started the only 4 days of work a week procedure to get the
best out of their employees which also lets them move their social life into a higher gear. The long and
the short of it, technology entered into our lives and rather than only being a part of it, now, our lives
depend on this particular life-changing invention.
