149 Results of educating health information among diabetes and hypertension patients by using the E-Domitai innovation for slowly progressive chronic kidney disease: Pilot study Abstract An exploratory study was conducted in this research. The purpose of this study was to explore the results of educating health information among diabetes and hypertension patients by using the E-Domitai innovation for slowly progressive chronic kidney disease (CKD). The participants of this study were 30 using a purposive sampling strategy. Eligible criteria included: residing in Khon Kaen district, Khon Kaen province; and having diagnosed as hypertension and diabetes with CKD stage 3B at least (GFR 30-44 mL/min). The tools of this study were a knowledge chronic kidney disease tool and innovative satisfaction tool. The reliability Cronbach alpha was 0.78. This study was conducted between February and March in 2021. The results of this study showed that the average score of post-test knowledge chronic kidney disease by using the E-Domitai for slowly progressive chronic kidney disease was ̅=11.97 out of 15 that was higher than pre-test (̅=9.32 out of 15). The Effectiveness of the E-Domitai innovation (E1-E2) was 0.78 and Effective Index (E.I) was 0.5. The results of satisfaction of the E-Domitai, including content, design, presentation, and utilization, were good. Moreover, participants gave the feedback that the E-Domitai was informative and practical in daily life. The E-Domitai is also suitable during the pandemic COVID-19 situation that they can educate themselves at home and can do socially distancing. However, participants suggested that it would be more reliable if the E-Domitai has been added the educated games. Rigorous research will be recommended for next study to examine the effectiveness of the E-Domitai innovation.
150 Innovative body mass index assessment: BMI OFFICIAL Thanawan Srisaem, Tharinee Malayutthasri, Nittaya Manmai, Warunee Sawamichai, Sitattikan Parapim,Sirirat Wiang-in Songsuda Muenthaisong Abstract This project aimed to 1) develop an innovative body mass index assessment (BMI official), 2) evaluate the consequence of using the BMI official, and 3) determine the satisfaction of the participants who used the BMI official. The 4 steps of Damming cycle were used for 2 cycles to develop the BMI official including 1) Plan, 2) Do, 3) Check, and 4) Act. The developed innovation was the BMI official which can be used via the LINE official account on a smartphone and a laptop/PC computer. The contents which included in the BMI official were easy to access, short and clear, easily understandable, and interesting as well as emphasizing combined technologies in order to promote the users for achieving an appropriate body mass index. The contents consisted of 4 aspects including 1) food, 2) exercise, 3) assessment of potential risks of diseases, and 4) relaxation and rest. The content validity of the BMI official was validated by 3 experts with the index of consistency (IOC) of 1.00. The reliability of the BMI official content was 0.74 after a pilot test from 30 nursing students. The data collection tools were the knowledge assessment form of 60 items, and 2) the satisfaction form on the BMI official for 17 items. The targeted participants to use the BMI official were the 2nd year nursing students who registered for academic year 2020. The 40 participants were randomly enrolled in the project using computer generated. The consequence of using the BMI official was observed from December 2020 to March 2021. Findings revealed as follows: 1.All participants used the BMI official during 7 pm to 12 pm and accessed to all functions of the application with the total time spent from 30 min to 1.30 hr. The participants’ BMI were at 3 levels which included 1) normal BMI with mean (SD) of 17.84 (1.90) (32 participants), 2) lower BMI with mean (SD) of 17.2 (1.32) (5 participants), and 3) higher BMI with mean (SD) of 11.2 (1.00) (3 participants). 2.The participants’ knowledge was at a very good level on health promotion with mean (SD) of 17.84 (1.90). 3.The participants were satisfied with the BMI official with mean (SD) of 14.69 (1.90). Recommendations: This BMI official innovation is useful for BMI self-assessment and suitable for users who have a smartphone with LINE application. The automatic message should be adjusted for the concise communication. Adding gimmicks to incentivize accessibility and communication channels with administrator should be made and expanding the implementation of innovations in the general public to a greater extent should be plan.

It causes open wounds, wound infections or other infections from blood and secretions, such as, AIDS and hepatitis. The needlestick incidence usually happens in the period of medication preparation, providing intravenous fluid and storing equipment. The One hand crystal was created for reducing the incidence of needlestick by inserting a needle sleeve by one hand. The innovation is similar to a keychain which comprises a needle base for covering a needle sleeve and an attachment loop. The prototype of innovation was approved by three experts with the IOC score of 0.93. The innovation was utilized by the fourthyear nursing students and registered nurses. The results of the study found that the innovative users were satisfied with the materials, durable and handiness of the One hand crystal. This could help to reduce the incidence of needlestick. Furthermore, the One hand crystal could be a souvenir which is value added from this innovation.

For the elderly, they are at risk of chronic diseases and decline of the ability to do selfcare. Moreover, they think and read slowly. If they have a diagnosis with chronic disease, they would be more dependent and lean on the caregivers. The cerebrovascular disease affects gross and fine motors, therefore the patients will be weak and have joint stiffness. Muscle and tendon rehabilitation is crucial for the first stage of illness. The Miracle of five fingers was developed by applying the concepts of abduction and adduction combining with the Thai traditional medicines regrading herbs, massage and hot compression. The innovation was developed from inexpensive local materials. This innovation will improve fine muscle capacity espacially to strengthen hands and fingers. Therefore, the patients would be able to grab things better and improve metacarpophalangeal movement regarding abduction, flexion and extension. Furthermore, the innovation could stimulate hand blood circulation, prevent locked fingers and muscle spasm. Hence, it is relaxing after using the Miracle of five fingers innovation.

This factor can cause office syndrome which leads to pain or numbness. This could link to muscle and skeletal diseases. Over 53% of patients with muscle and skeletal diseases choose to massage, taking painkiller and analgesic drugs which is a temporary treatment. However, this group of disease could be cured by the patients themselves, for example, stretching and exercise. The “Totally forgot it was pain” innovation was created by applying hot compression therapy and muscle stretching. Hot compression therapy was used for reducing pain, increasing blood circulation and stimulating peripheral nerves. All of this was combined with the principle of physiotherapy regarding using exercise bands for muscle stretching. There are two parts of innovation components, namely, pain relief and muscle stretching equipment, and user manual. The innovation was made from low- cost local materials. It is easy to use. After applying the “Totally forgot it was pain” innovation in the working age group, the results showed that it could help to reduce pain without negative side effects and the sample satisfaction was at a high level.
