GIRLS’
GYMNASTICS

For girls, gym nastics is the
newest interscholastic sport.
For the first tim e last year a
meet was held and the result
was a tie between the Notting
ham girls and those of Central
Tech. This year the sport was
expanded even further with ad
ditional meets with the other two
high schools. With some new
equipment, including uneven-
parallel bars and a balance
beam, these girls have been ex
posed to a wider view of gym
nastics.

somehow missed their mark.

Ode to One Fleeing a Fleaing Flee A Tale from the Epic

W here is there one who loves naught the flea? Jeffrey Johnson says, “ I want my M aypo!”
I hearest thou doth naught love the flea Jan A. B arenholtz says, “ I w ant my M aypo!”
Knoweth I well the flea loveth thee Steve K illian says, “ I want my M aypo!”
For Flye the flea confideth all to me Bill Harris says, “ I want my M aypo!”
Why, praytell, doth thou fleeth the flea? Douglas Goldman says, “ I want my M aypo!”
The om nipotent Flye, the wondrous flea Aeneas ait, “ Ego cupit meus M ayponum !”
Warty bliggins, the toad, might flee from thee
But knowest thou he fleeth naught the flea See, kids - Even the Heroes cry out for their Maypo!
O! to flee by flying from Flye the flea
(Only a fleabag fleeth our Flye)
For what doth Flye, the fleaing flea, flee?
For no fee at all, Flye flies for free,
