The Year We Sweat Excellence

Summer 2019 was our best yet! Live Ball, Guest Days, Kid's
Camps and a fourth place finish at Nationals for our Men's
3.0 team. The sun shone brightly for the ladies this summer
as well. At Ladies Guest Day, Robin Engelson and Rachel
Latour repeated as the 4.0 & Above champions. Heather
Besikof and Maddie Suk were the runners up. Cassie
Benowitz and Lauren Sundick repeated as the 3.0/3.5
champions, barely edging out runners up Julie Gainsley and
Karen Knapp by one game.

How 'Bout Those
Oak Ridge Boys?

Our Oak Ridge Tennis USTA teams once again did us
proud this summer. The Mens 3.0 team was led by Brad
Sundick. Team members were Alan Cosentino, Ryan
Rosoff, Jared Greenbaum, Evan Miller, Barry Kern,
Jeremy Frank, Brian Schumer and David Benowitz. The
team completed an undefeated season, a sectional
championship and a trip to nationals that resulted in a
fourth place finish. Not only a VERY big deal for Oak
Ridge, but also a VERY big deal for our Northern section.
Well done gentlemen!!
