One large Silver Gilt and Enamel Freedom Casket by W & S.
Hallmarked Sterling Silver Birmingham 1908.
Presented to MR ALDERMAN RICHARDS.

Comprises rectangular case centred on one side by a medallion depicting Queen
Victoria and on the other side by the monogram of the recipient. The concave sides
enamelled with views of the reservoirs, the recipient and the Parish church. Hung at

the corners with garlanded scrolls.
Detachable cover with four open scroll supports centred by an enamelled
representation of the Borough Seal. Presented on Gilt mounted velvet covered Oak

wooden base.
