Membership Eligibility Criteria

• All AOII chapters must abide by AOII’s Governing
Documents for minimum membership criteria
(minimum 2.5 cumulative on high school GPA and
minimum 2.0 cumulative on college GPA); however, if
your chapter bylaws state an increased GPA
requirement please insert said criteria here.

• Accepting of all fraternal responsibilities – financial,
housing, attendance, etc.

Platoon Rotation

• After an initial conversation period, Bumpers (#4) are
released to go find #1 in her group and initiate the
rotation. The #1 will go find #2 and after appropriate
introductions, #2 will go find #3.

• Floaters are used as needed, but they do not enter
the rotation. They ensure that the rotation does not
“break down.”

• Rotation moves so AOII #1 always goes to find #2, #2
always goes to find #3 and so on.

Involvement Fair

Breakdown

• The purpose of the Involvement Fair is to kick off the academic year
and allow students to get involved on campus.

• Panhellenic will set up on the Student Center lawn and AOII will have an assigned
table.

• Panhellenic has set a limit of five members per chapter allowed at
each table.

• We will be signing up in 45 minute shifts to be present at the event.
• If you are selected to be at the table, you will be present at the table and engage

with students and other Panhellenic sisters.
• All other members assigned to each shift will browse the Involvement Fair and

engage with students and other organizations.

• All chapter members attending the event will come recruitment ready
with a positive attitude :)

• Those tabling will be wearing coral AOII PR shirts with stylish bottoms and
everyone else will wear an AOII shirt of their choosing.

• We will be using the switch/buddy system for Welcome Round

• Explain how a rotation group moves through each party.
• Each PNM will meet at least two AOIIs with the potential to meet additional sisters
(floaters).
• Each rotation group will meet four PNMs total.
• Two rotation group members will partner with two other members of the rotation
group for the switch/buddy system. Example: 1 & 2 are a pair, and 3 & 4 are a pair.
• If there is an odd number of members in a rotation group, one person will
serve as the floater for this round.
• Partners will “switch” PNMs at the 11:00 minute mark when signaled by the
Assistant VPMR.

• A chalkboard with “Welcome to AOII!” will be placed on an easel at the
entrance of the room. Cocktail tables will be arranged around the room with
white tablecloths and an infinity rose patterned table runner. Tables will be
topped with an infinity rose centerpiece and assorted picture frames with
photos of members. Professionally printed sisterhood photos will be hanging
from pipe and drape on ribbon to serve as the backdrop.

• Will food/drink be served? If so…
• Serving pink lemonade in clear plastic cups and white petits fours topped
with fondant infinity rose
• A refreshments table will be set up with an infinity rose patterned tablecloth,
and the pink lemonade will be displayed in clear drink dispensers with cups
alongside. Petits Fours will be passed by floaters during the first
conversation.
