Charles Randall Hines has lived in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains
of Southwest Virginia most of his life. He is an amateur genealogist and
collector of anything “old”. He grew up in Carroll County with respect
for his elders, ancestors, and the “mountain ways” of life.
