The management at Finsbury Pump Systems and Powamac Products
and Manufacturing are proud to present one of the largest ranges of
high quality pumps available in the Australian market. This is our
third Pumpalogue® and has grown another 25% in size compared to
the previous and very popular 2015/16 edition.
The Pumpalogue® is only a small sample of the many hundreds of
pump models available in each of the pump ranges. If the pump that

Our product range continues to grow both in our locally designed

We are also proud to announce the opening of a new Finsbury Pump
Systems branch in Perth, Western Australia. The new Western

BOOSTER PUMP SETS
Finsbury manufacture a large range of booster sets using our SCR,
SCRI or SCRN pumps. Pumps are available with cast iron water-
ways or in a full 304 or 316 stainless steel. The booster sets use 2 to 8
pumps with or without expansion tanks and are readily made in our
Australian factory. Reliable booster sets deliver water in areas where
constant medium to high heads are required with varying small to
high duty flows.

The 1600 series self priming pump line has been designed for maximum versatility and is ideally

The casing has been designed with generous proportions in the recirculation chamber to
provide short priming times without the use of troublesome flappers and check valves.
The inlet has been sized to minimize NPSH requirements to provide greater allowable suction
lifts. The pump’s flexible stuffing box design accepts a wide variety of shaft sealing configurations
to suit the needs of specific applications, including both outside and double inside mechanical
seals. For additional corrosion-resistance, the entire pump and drive unit is mounted on a
Fybroc fiberglass baseplate.

CONSTRUCTION AND MINING PUMPS
Finsbury produce a range of Wet and Dry priming pumpsets for the construction, hire,
local government and mining industries up to flows of 310 L/sec and heads up to 165m.
Our Wet priming pumps are self priming, have open impellers and can take solids up
to 76mm diameter.
Our Dry priming pumps are primed using our inhouse developed and environmentally
friendly diaphragm vacuum system. These pumps have closed impellers for higher
efficiencies and can take solids up to 32mm diameter (depending on the pump chosen).
All pump / engine combinations can be enclosed with sound canopies to reduce sound
levels to below 64db. Each pumpset can be mounted on a forklift base or the heavier
duty mining skids. All have built in fuel tanks, the largest being 1400 litres in size.

Finsbury Pump Systems are proud to offer the British built Q series
Hydraulic drive submersible trash and waste water pumps. A full range
of submersible pumps from 50mm to 150mm pumps with a variety of
impeller types for different pumping requirements. External power packs
are available for all pump sizes. These power packs are standard fitted
with a Hatz engine enclosed in an engine sound canopy for lower sound
levels. Also available with alternative makes of diesel engines.
The pump design does everything possible to avoid the leaking of oil into
the customer’s water. This is done by sealing the hydraulic motor itself,
the bearing and mechanical seal area has a seperate oil chamber for the dry
running of the unit. The motor shaft seal is the most likely area for leaks
however we use a three line hydraulic system where the third drain hose
keeps the pressure as low as possible on the shaft seal.
Most pumps are available in a steel or in a lighter weight aluminium build
format.

These positive displacement gear pumps are excellent for pumping fluids at
medium to high pressures. Very useful for pressure boosting, liquid transfer,
factory process pumping and lubricating duties. The standard pumps are fabri-
cated in bronze - these gear pumps come in three sizes of 15, 20 and 25mm and in
3 different specifications - the BB series is also available in cast iron.
