:[email protected] Mohd Haf iz Faizal is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Mul-
timedia Section at Malaysian Institute of Information
Technology, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) since 2019.
He obtained his PhD in 2017 f rom Universiti Kebang-
saan Malaysia (UKM) in Visual Informatics Study.
Before joined Unikl, he has working experience in
the area of integrated digital marketing for two years.
He has published several papers in journal and con-
ference proceeding. His area of expertise includes
Human-Computer Interaction, Usability, User In-
terface Design, User Experience Design, Visual Com-
munication and Advertising. He is currently an editori-
al board of Journal of Computing and Creative Content

:[email protected] A.k.a Miss Gibb is an established Senior Lecturer and re-
searcher in the Creative Multimedia Section at Universiti
Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Information Tech-
nology (UniKL MIIT). She received a MSc in Multimedia
Information Systems from the University of Portsmouth,
England and worked as a lecturer since 1998. She has
received training in Game Rating at Game Rating and
Administration Committee (GRAC previously known as
Game Rating Board (GRB)) in Seoul, South Korea. She
involved with a lot of partnership between UniKL and
Korean Universities in setting up collaborations and
programmes. Currently coordinating Advancement
and Continuing Education (ACE) unit in UniKL MIIT.She
is in charge of developing and marketing short courses,
professional certificates, franchise and special projects.

RESEARCH AREAS

Her research interests include multi platform of inter-
active applications, game development, game de-
sign, graphic design, interactive learning, mobile ap-
plication, mobile game, cognitive rehabilitation using
game and interactive video, and interactive storytelling
(Digital and Non-Digital). She actively participated in a
number of Multimedia projects in UniKL MIIT. Received
RM50K grant from MARA to develop a prototype of an
interactive hologram application. One of main com-
mittees for ACM IMCOM, an international conference
organised by Sungkyunkwan University & University
Kuala Lumpur.

tory in corrugated box making and knowledge in shares
processing. She has also good knowledge with MS Excels.

She has a Diploma in Statistics f rom UiTM in 1993, Bach-
elor of Computing and Statistics f rom Portsmouth Uni-
versity, Portsmouth, UK in 1997 and M.Sc in Mechatronics
Engineering (Signals and Systems) from International

Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University
of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK in 2012. She is currently an
Associate Professor at the Computer Engineering Sec-
tion, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of In-
formation Technology. Her main research interests are
in the area of IoT, signal and image processing, pattern
recognition, computer vision, image enhancement
and superresolution. She was appointed as the Head of
Computer Engineering Section at UniKL MIIT in Octo-
ber 2015. Haidawati is a Member of the Institute of Elec-
trical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Member of
IEEE Signal Processing Society. She is currently serving
as the Honorary Secretary of the IEEE Malaysia Section.
