Twelve Princess Chulabhorn Science High Schools (PCSHS) were established in
honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s dedication in science and to commemorate
her 36th birthday in 1993. The curriculum is specialized and intensive in mathematics and
science with focus on science projects and independent research activities.

Intel ISEF is the premier high school science competition in the world and provides a forum
for almost 2,000 students from about 80 countries around the world. It is the opportunity
for students to display their talent on an international stage and submit their work for judging
by doctoral-level scientists. The students were selected by The Science Society of Thailand
under the Patronage of H.M. The King.

The 2018 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) is a way for primary through
undergraduate students from all GLOBE countries to showcase their hard work. With GLOBE,
students learn the practices of science through hands-on investigations in their own communities,
sparking their curiosity and interest in science. This often leads to inquiries that help solve real-world
problems and further understanding of our global environment. All projects will be scored by a team
of judges from the GLOBE International STEM Professionals Network.

The Korea International Youth Olympiad (KIYO) was held by the World Women Inventors
& Entrepreneurs Association (WWWIEA). The event took place in Hwasungsi, Korea. This event
utilizes two unique aspects: an on – location challenge and a competition open only to former
