The International Young Inventors Award (IYIA) is the technological advancement of innovation
among academics and students is quite fast. To promote and appreciate the young innovators
around the world in an innovation and invention exhibition, the International Young Inventors Award
(IYIA) is organized annually. The 5th edition of IYIA was organized by the Indonesian Invention and
Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA) and supported by the International Federation of Inventors
Association (IFIA).
PCSHS’s students were selected by the Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion
Association (INNOPA), the World Invention Intellectual Property Associations (WIIPA) and the International
Federation of Inventors Association (IFIA) to participate in the event.

skills through the research on the projects and exhibition to the public. Winning teams may be selected
to join overseas science and technology exchange program, or participate in overseas science competitions,

The Young Inventor Challenge is a competition for secondary school students and is open
to teams of 4 – 5 young people. The theme for 2018 was “INVENTIONS TO SERVE”. By participat-
