OR MAGNESIUM-CITRATE.
This is the ONLY effervescing SALINE recommended by the FACDCIiTY and MEDICAL PRESS. Hitherto
it has been found impossible to make those Salines so largely used such that on an analysis of their contents
being made the Medical Press and Faculty could give them their approval and recommendation. The attached
reports should, it is hoped, secure the confidence of the public, and show the immense superiority of
lyiAGNESILTNE over all other Salines. Attention is also directed to its exceedingly low price.
This simple Preparation, which preserves its peculiar properties unimpaired for any length of time, when
taken regularly, COOLS, PURIFIES, and VITALISES the BLOOD, and furnishes the system with, those
saline principles that are essential to health.
SICKNESS, HEADACHE, and NAUSEA are in most cases immediately relieved by taking a teaspoonful
in half a tumblerful of water.
For BILIOUS CONSTITUTIONS, giving rise to INDIGESTION and ERUPTIONS on the SKIN, a
teaspoonf ul should be taken twice a day in half a tumblerful of water.

Defendant moved for a NEW TRIAL,—application REFUSED.
This action, which was brought for the alleged in-
fringement of the Plaintiff's Trade Mark, was tried at
the last sittings at Guildhall, before Mr. Baron Cleasby,
when the verdict was for the Plaintiff with damages.
The PLAINTIFF was the HUSBAND of the
DAUGHTER of the late JOHN BOND, the PRO-
PRIETOR of BOND'S CRYSTAL PALACE MARK-
ING INK. The Defendant was a Druggist, and he
had sold a similar Ink, manufactured by a Mr. Murphy,
and the Plaintiff complained that the Labels on
Murphy's Ink were an infringement of his Labels.
A TRADE MARK is not only a SYMBOL, or
CHARACTER, but the general appearance of a Label,
whereby the Public would be deceived.
Their lordships this morning after consulting Mr,
Baron Cleasby on the matter, refused the rule, that
