Ode to my dog
Dear scout.
Slobber, fur and bad breath
Oh that breath.
When you wake up in the morning
It looks like you are doing the downward dog.
That fur. Oh that fur. I find it in my food and my toung.
But I love the way that you love me.
You eat like you could eat a horse
Every Monday night football game you sit next to me.
Eating chicken.
You love chicken.
Your love for chicken is like how squirrels love nuts.
But why do you ask for 40 walks a day?
I love when you do the splat when you lay down.
I could never ask for a better dog.
You are the best dog a kid could ask for.
Abandoned farmhouse
Small little guy said the hospital blanket. I agree said the bed. Too
bad he died.
What happened to him? Remember the bomb? Right before he
went into a mental hospital.
Said the syringe. Right before he left he said something. I will never
forget it.
Dear Jack,
I remember you like a slice of bacon.
All those wonderful
Walks
Your love for me was like a cat and yarn
I remember when you smashed the car with a baseball.
Bang! Went the dent.
I loved that you snuck cheese into your room to give to me.
Playing in the street with the big red ball.
I kissed you goodbye right before the big blue car took me away.
I miss you jack.
Sincerely, The Yellow dog Sky
Love that dog,
Like a kangaroo loves to jump
I said love that dog
Like a kangaroo loves to jump.
Just like is mama
I said just like is mama
Eats bacon like its his last meal
I said Eats bacon like its his last meal
He is a good dog
I said he is a good dog
Before he is done
I love that dog.
There was one a turtle named duke
He ate too much so he puked
Then he sleep on a shoe
He enjoyed sleeping by the bay
He had a friend named edd
Edd loved to eat a beat
Edd loves to sleep
My family lives on a field.
Dad is the lacrosse stick
Strong and thin
Mom is the grass
Smooth and nice
And Me.
I'm the dirt
Making this family a family

Ode to fall
Trees and their orange leaves.
Falling, falling, down.
The leaves are Crunching, Crackling, Crumbling. Under your feet
Fall is like chocolate. So sweet and sometimes bitter.
Halloween. Fun with friends. Candy. Sweets.
Cool, crisp wind blowing through your hair.
I love fall
