INTRODUCTION

1.1 INTRODUCTION

The course is an industrial attachment course offered in the final year
to expose course offered in the final year to expose students to the real

work situation in related industries from the basic responsibilities up
to the managerial stage performance

1.2 PRELIMERY

The main focus of this industrial training is to manufacture a
prepare and capable graduates student in facing work industry
either in academic field or non-academic field with a high professionalism
spirit. It is also to expose the students to the real life corporate industry
other than enhance the student’s social skillls. At the end of industrial
training, students are expected to accomplish all the objectives and
benefits all accomplish all the objectives and benefits all the knowledge

that has been gained in facing thw work challenges in the future.

1.3 INDUSTRIAL TRAINING OBJECTIVE

Be exposed to real life art and design employment situations
.

Build and enhance technical and design-related knowledge and skills

Develop professionalism, aptitude and adaptive skills in real-life situations

Enhance interpersonal and collaborative skills in a team-based

1.4 REPORT OBJECTIVE

Give an overall picture about stuudent’s activities and work task
during industrial training.

As a book to collect all the datas information obtained during industrial
training.

Explain more specific on work that has been done based on daily
logbook student.

An early reference for another student that will go through industrial
training in the future.

A reference to any company to improve their company to improve their
company policy on industrial training. To qualify certificate award for

degree in UITM.

1.5 IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING TO
STUDENTS

Every bachelor degree UITM student has been obliged to undergo one
industrial training for a duration of three months.Industrial training is
compulsory to each students before graduates. The importance of
industrial training to students is to expose them to life work envirnment
before they start their work life phase. In fact, this initial exposure can
strengthening student to continue their studies until they manage to
graduate and obtain a degree certificate. After undergoing industrial
training, students will be more confident and aware of the real working
environment, this actually can help students a lot to practice what has

been learned in a lecture.

ORGANIZATION

2.1 ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND

Safwan Anggerik Enterprise or more known as The Chetak is a company
that provide such a high standard result and produce incredible settlement
to people out there. The Chetak was established in 18th September 2012
and this company is own by young man Mr. Safwan or more known as Wan.
The Chetak is just a small business of young man who provided printing
services for customers. The company’s goal is to make the company
developed and success in many aspects, not like some other companies
which only concerned with sales without having service satisfactory for

customers. So, the company want to filled the room.
In The Chetak, their prioritize is on their sales, fast and friendly services also
in satisfying their customer. They are able to produce and provide great out-
come to their customers. The company began operate actively in 2013 and
still in progressing stages but has started gain trust of their customers be-
cause of their quality and good work. They also gain new customers each
years and keep on growing as a great printing company.The Chetak could
be a very high possibilities in future that might be well known across the
world. Because The Chetak have totally gain trust from their customers by
delivering and providing the best outcome of result and solutions to satisfy

their customers.

2.3 ORGANIZATIONAL ESTABLISHED
BACKGROUND

Safwan Anggerik Enterprise or more known as The Chetak is a sole propri-
etorship Bumiputra company that was established in 18th September 2012
and this company is own by a young man Mr. Safwan or well known as
Wan. Initially, this company was named as Mai Cetak Baju because the
only service they had was T-shirt printing at that time. But they had changed
their company’s name after they received many offers for printing services
and products. The Chetak was found by Muhammad Safwan who held Po-
liteknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah diploma course in land survey in Kulim,
Kedah. After received various orders from customers, this company also
provide printing service for mugs, silk screen t-shirt and more to satisfy their
customers. Now, there are many loyal customers who gave their trust
towards this company in printing service since they keep produce a great

outcome

The Chetak run business for the first time in a small store that rent at
D’Mara Building and move on to other place which more bigger and strate-
gic to attract customers at Taman Ria, Grik. At the beginning, The Chetak
only offer service for T-shirt printing and do the printing process at home.
Then, after their businesses grow well, Mr. Safwan take the liberty to buy a
banner printer which cost him thousands ringgit. After that, he get more
confidences and offer a variety of services for customers because he saw a

chance of success for his
company.

3.1 INTRODUCTION

Industrial Training Policy of UITM has helps students goes
exposure and experience of the real corporate industry like in
relevant organization that in line with the wishes of the UITM to create

first-class human capital that is knowledeable, competative , creative,
innovative, critical and analytical and also competent. In addition, it is able
to produce graduates with techbical and soft skills to enhance student

market ability and employability skills to meet the needs of current
workforce. The Industrial Training Cours is compulsary for all students of t
he academic level certificate Diploma and Bachelor of Degree to quality for
the award of certificate of Diploma and Bachelor Degree.Student must pass

industrial training as specified in the course of study.

3.2 PROCESS

I was asked to plan the design for the 63rd national day banner. With that, I
search for references on google and searched for materials to design with the

theme of love for the country of Malaysia with the background of indepen-
dence day.

DESIGN RATIONAL

In this banner design, I used the concept of independence. The background
is the Malaysian flag to increase the spirit of love for the country. In addition,
I also used color tones that related to the color of the Malaysian flag in all
deisgn related to independence day, which is red, yellow, blue and white

DESIGN RATIONAL

As told by customers, I put their information details of their promoted food and
putting the great name for each title of foods. For backgrounds, mostly I used
contrast color of the foods so that the food can be the eye seeker of the banner
and bunting. I also put some related icons for each banners and buntings ac-

cording to the foods to shows the ingredients and the visual
presentation of the foods

DESIGN RATIONAL

For set of book menu, as told by customers, I put their information details about
the menu in the design. I arranged the menu flow following the customer
request. For backgrounds, mostly I used contrast color of the foods so that the
food can be the eye seeker of the banner and bunting. I also put some related

icons for each banners and buntings according to the foods to shows the
ingredients and the visual presentation of the food.

3.5 PROCESS

I was asked to design a business card according to the customer's require-
ments in relation to the products and services that they run. By looking for
many references on the internet so that I can made interesting designs as
well. I put pictures requested by customers and information that is important
to attract their customers. With the help and guidance of supervisors and

customer consent.
