Our heritage

Everyday when we go to work, we are hoping to do two things; share yogurts with our friends and help everyone to have
a healthy lifestyle

Nutrilo story

Fatihah was an nutritionist who graduated from UM and completed her research on yogurt drinks. From that she started
the idea of making yogurt after the benefits of yogurt was unveiled back then in 2003 by N.Shah in encyclopaedia of food
sciences and nutrition .Then she got a team of four- Shi, Navin and Mus.We had personal interest on yogurt, they started
to learn research more about yogurt and had a vision to improvise the yogur. Besides that, we wanted all the human kinds
to know about the benefits of yogurt therefore we started to manufacture yogurt also and made it in the lowest cost so
that even the poorest person on a country could afford it.

We always believed in serving the best yogurt possible. It isour goal for all of our yogurts to be grown under the highest
standards of quality, using ethical sourcing practices.

manufacturing and distribution company that is
based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia.

• In 2015, Nutrilo Sdn Bhd expands into
Malaysia by forming a joint venture with Mamee
Double-Decker (M) Sdn Bhd focusing on
businesses across the Asia Pacific.

• Nutrilo Sdn Bhd products includes probiotic
milk beverages, yogurt, chilled drinks and
carbonated drinks. One of their brands is
Yobick which is sponsoring Malaysian
badminton mixed double pair Chan Peng Soon
and Goh Liu Ying since 2019

1. Saturated fats: Saturated fats in some flavored yogurts increase low-density lipoprotein which puts
you at high risk of heart disease. Yogurts with more than 5 grams of saturated fats put you at high risk.

2. Sugar: Some brands flavored brands contain sugar and taking them in excess can contribute to
health problems and increase the cholesterol level in your body.
3. Fewer probiotics: Although it contains good bacteria suitable for gut health, the quantities of
probiotics are significantly less than those found in Kefir.
4. Made of dairy product: Although most of lactose and whey are removed, the product still contains
dairy and the proteins and casein components can cause digestive issues or lead to headaches, skin
rashes, and other issues.
5. Milk allergy: If you’re allergic to some milk proteins like whey and casein, then taking yogurts with a
high content of these proteins it can lead to allergies like hives and swelling.
6. Heart disease: Sweetened yogurt with a high amount of fructose or sugar leads to high levels of bad
cholesterol or LDL and this is linked to increased risk of heart disease and atherosclerosis.
7. Overindulgence risk: Eating more than three cups of yogurt per day especially the sweetened
yogurt puts you at health risk. It is recommended you take an overall dairy serving of three cups in a
day.
8. Bloating or discomfort: Some people with lactose intolerance however how small it is may
experience discomfort, gas, or bloating after consuming frozen yogurt.
9. Digestive symptoms: Those who are allergic to dairy products or lactose intolerance should avoid
taking yogurt because they may experience symptoms like abdominal pain and diarrhea.
10. Risk of kidney stones: Too much calcium contained in yogurt can increase the risk of kidney stones,
prostate cancer, as well as impair absorption of iron and zinc.

Among all varieties of yogurt, Greek yogurt is considered to be the healthiest. It has the perfect ratio of protein and
carbohydrate and is a brilliant post workout snack. If you have a bowl of Greek yogurt within 60 minutes of your workout, it
releases amino acids that help repair muscles. Tip: Have a glass of water with your yogurt and it improves the absorption
of water by intestines - thereby enhancing your hydration and controls blood pressure.

Salt is the main culprit behind high blood pressure and if not monitored high BP can lead to serious health complications
such as hypertension and kidney disease. The potassium present in yogurt helps eradicate excess of sodium from our
bodies. In fact, a recent study suggested that low fat dairy helped them keep BP issues at bay. Builds immunity

The probiotics present in yogurt works on building your immunity and lowers your chances of contracting various illnesses.
Probiotics have long been proven to work on strengthening gut health.

Yogurt also had zinc and other minerals that are absolutely essential for good health. Prevents yeast infections

Yogurt consumption is directly linked to reduction in yeast infections. So if you are prone to such infections, it's best to
increase it in your diet. Yogurt may not be for everyone

While the benefits of yogurt are many, it may not be good for everyone. Those who suffer from some sort of a milk allergy
or are lactose intolerant, be cautious before you consume it as it can lead to serious implications. For the uninitiated, one
is lactose intolerant when the body doesn't have lactase, an essential enzyme that is needed to break down lactose. It can
lead to diarrhea and even abdominal pain. However, there are some cases where people who are lactose intolerant may
be able to eat yogurt. However, it has to be a trial and error method to know. If you are on a weight loss diet, be wary of
just any yogurt variety. There are some yogurts that have added sugars that may have been added just to add flavour.
Consumption of excess sugar can lead to obesity and diabetes. So read the food label to know what you are eating.

Product Function

Milk products such as yogurt are subject to a variety of safety testing. Some of these
include tests for microbial quality, degree of pasteurization, and various forms of
contaminants. The microbial quality of the incoming milk is determined by using a dye
reaction test. This method shows the number of organisms present in the incoming milk.
If the microbial count is too high at this point, the milk may not be used for manufacture.
Since complete pasteurization inactivates most organisms in milk, the degree of
pasteurization is determined by measuring the level of an enzyme in the milk called
phosphatase. Governmental regulations require that this test be run to ensure that
pasteurization is done properly. Beyond microbial contamination, raw milk is subject to
other kinds of contaminants such as antibiotics, pesticides or even radioactivity. These
can all be found through safety testing and the milk is treated accordingly.In addition to
safety tests, the final yogurt product is also evaluated to ensure that it meets the
manufacturer for characteristics such as pH, rheology, tasthe specifications set by te,
color, and odor. These factors are tested using various laboratory equipment such as pH
meters and viscometers and also human panelists.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

The production of our product sanus requires only two ingredients: milk and live cultures.
However, producers may also include, dry milk powder, stabilizers, fruit, and sweeteners.
Milk is the main ingredient used when making yogurt. It can be cream, whole, low-fat, or skim.
Whole milk is used to make full-fat or regular yogurt, low-fat milk is used to make low-fat yogurt,
and skim milk is used to make non-fat yogurt. In general, the higher the fat content of the milk, the
smoother and creamier.Cream may be added to adjust the fat content of milk. Non-fat, dry milk
powder is used to adjust the content of yogurt solids above the 8.25% minimum to achieve better
body and texture. Stabilizers also function to improve body and texture as well as to increase
firmness. They help keep fruit uniformly mixed in the yogurt and prevent separation of whey.
Examples of stabilizers include alginates, gelatin, gums, pectins, and starch
