Message from the PresidentI am proud to present the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Annual Report for 2025. This year reflects not only growth, but national recognition and continued expansion — all grounded in our unwavering commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute was recognized nationally by Leapfrog as a top teaching hospital — an honor that reflects our commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes and transparency. We also advanced in the U.S. News & World Report rankings, a testament to the expertise and dedication of our physicians and care teams. Most importantly, our patient satisfaction remained in the 99th percentile — a powerful affirmation of the trust our patients place in us.Since opening in March 2023, our surgery center has completed more than 25,000 procedures, demonstrating both efficiency and outstanding outcomes. We expanded our footprint with new clinics in St. Petersburg and South Orlando, along with a clinic expansion in Seminole County.Bringing together Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute to form Orlando Health Spine Center marks a significant step in delivering fully integrated spine care. We’ve expanded our Central Florida footprint to the east and west, and we have presence in Brevard and Indian River Counties on Florida’s East Coast, and in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco Counties on Florida’s West Coast.Looking ahead, we will open a new clinic in Winter Park and continue expanding thoughtfully to meet the needs of our growing communities. We also remain committed to education and mentorship through our residency, research, physician mentor and fellowship programs. These accomplishments are made possible by the dedication of our physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and administrative teams. Together, we are advancing orthopedic and spine care and helping patients return to the lives they love.Respectfully yours,Michael V. In 1936, Eugene L. Jewett, MD, and his wife,Dr. Ruth Jewett, relocated to Orlando with a vision: to bring innovative orthopedic care to a growing community. With degrees from Cornell and Harvard, Dr. Jewett quickly became a pioneer in fracture treatment and rehabilitation, developing groundbreaking prosthetic devices that transformed recovery during the 1930s and 1940s.Today, that legacy continues in Winter Park. The Jewett LegacyFor decades, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute has proudly served the Winter Park community. In 2026, we are building on that commitment by constructing a new, purpose-built clinic designed to support the next generation of orthopedic care. The new 27,000-square-foot, two-story facility will bring orthopedics, rehabilitation and MRI services together under one roof. Designed to enhance access, efficiency and patient experience, the new Winter Park clinic will represent both continuity and progress. This innovative, expanded facility will replace our original Winter Park clinic. It will feature advanced orthopedic technology while building on the strong foundation established at our original location.Rooted in history and focused on the future, the Jewett legacy lives on — advancing care, expanding access and strengthening our commitment to the communities we serve.143960700 - PRINT - OHJOI 2025 Annual Report - Booklet_R15.indd 14 5/13/26 12:27 PM
