Michael Jablonski and Bruce Levy. Advancing Orthopedic ResearchResearch and education are central to our mission. Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute physicians publish leading research, present at national and international forums and help shape global consensus on complex orthopedic care.In FY 2025, we advanced our orthopedic research program as we now include more prospective research that is industry-sponsored, grant-funded and investigator-led. Highlighted research projects included a partnership with the United States Department of Defense titled, “Surgical Timing and Rehabilitation for Multiple Ligament Knee Injuries: A Multicenter Integrated Clinical Trial.” In addition, we launched a sponsored study titled “Regeneration of Acutely Injured Nerves with Temporary Electrical Stimulation (REGAIN): A Prospective, Multicenter, Double-Blinded and Randomized Clinical Trial.” The purpose of this study is to evaluate the definitive safety and effectiveness of Epineuron’s Temporary Peripheral Nerve Stimulation System for aiding the regeneration of injured peripheral nerves as an adjunct to surgical repair.More Than700Contributions toJournals and Research50+Physicians Wrote ArticlesScan the QR code to view all our physician articles.Orthopedic Surgeons Working Alongside the Next Generation of LeadersOne of the strongest examples of this commitment is the work of student research program participant Alexander K.
