LCM - NEW LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH
Minutes of the 46th Annual General Meeting of the members of the church held online
at 10.30am on Sunday, January 31, 2021.

Prelude
The meeting commenced at 10.30am with the chairman moving a motion to conduct the
AGM online due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) was still in force. Forty-three
participants had logged in to the online meeting from a list of 149 active members. They
gave their unanimous consent to have the virtual meeting. This was in line with the
advice given by LCM Secretary Rev. Thomas Low. The floor consented to having
Pastor Sunil Peter as an observer in the meeting. Bro Edward Kon and Sis Cheah Yet
Thang were appointed as joint-secretaries. The proceeding would be recorded via
Zoom platform.

1. Opening prayer
Pastor Agnes Wong led the opening prayer.

2. Appointment of teller
Sis Chai Soo Ling was appointed as teller. A total of 43 members had logged on
to the online meeting, thus achieving the required quorum.

3. Acceptance of agenda
Sis Cheah Yet Thang proposed to accept the agenda and Lydia Ong seconded
the motion. The agenda was duly accepted.

4. Acceptance of last meeting minutes
Bro Ping Kok Koh proposed to accept the minutes of last meeting and Christine
Foo seconded the motion. The minutes of the 45th AGM was duly accepted.

5. Matters arising
Pastor Agnes Wong spoke on item 6.4.1 where it was recorded no visits were
carried out to the homes of either Children Church or Kindergarten kids. Sis Chai
Soo Ling who recorded the minutes mentioned that it was stated as such in the
last meeting. Sis Yeoh Thien Khim, the former Kindergarten Principal and
teacher in charge of Children Church clarified that visits were carried out but only
to a few homes.

6. Reports
The following reports were presented to the meeting.

6.1 Pastor’s Report – Pastor Agnes Wong
Pastor Agnes Wong reported that despite the pandemic in 2020, Christmas was
celebrated on a low-profile manner, with an attendance restricted to 30 members
as the CMCO still in force. Some ministries had gone virtual that encompassed
Youth Fellowship, prayer meeting, Sunday worship and council meetings. She
had come up with the 2021 new church theme ‘United Together’ where she
hoped members would remain united. She also said performance evaluation

should be carried out bilaterally that involved both the pastor and the church
council members. Bro Desmond Leong commented that the new theme should
be applied to the church wholly, not just among pastor and council members. He
said it was time for the church to be outward-looking rather than inward-looking.

Sis Kon Choi Ying proposed to accept the pastor’s report while Sis Yeoh Thein
Kim seconded it.

6.2 Chairperson’s Report – Brother Raymond Chin
Bro Raymond Chin thanked the 2019-2020 council members for their contribution
and service and apologized for any shortfalls that might have hurt the feelings of
church members. Bro Ping Kok Koh proposed to accept the chairperson’s report
and was seconded by Sis Rosalind Ng Chow Suen.

6.3 Treasurer’s Report – Sister Adrinna Hew Yoke Chen
Bro Desmond Leong queried the discrepancy found in the closing balance of
2019 and the opening balance in 2020. Sis Adrinna Hew said that the difference
was an error caused by applying a formula in the spreadsheet. This error would
be rectified.

Bro Phuak Chew Kit enquired why the RM50k was placed under MCO Relief
Fund. Sis Adrinna Hew said the council had agreed to have it placed under such
category. Bro Raymond Chin said the fund was a contribution from Bro Ping Kok
Koh meant to provide relief to those who were financially affected by Covid-19.
The former thanked the latter for his generosity. This fund was still intact. Bro
Khong Poh Choy said that cell leaders were informed of its existence, and that
they would be able to identify those that needed financial aid.

Sis Yeoh Thien Kim wanted to know if the MCO Relief Fund could be utilized by
the kindergarten and her query was met with an affirmation from Bro Raymond
Chin. Bro Sam Quah said the MCO Relief Fund should be open and made
known to all members.

Bro Desmond Leong expressed that there might be a conflict of interest if council
members were paid allowances for carrying out administrative duties. Sis
Adrinna Hew replied that the allowances were paid to her for carrying out the
certain duties which were done by the administrative clerk who had quit from her
post. The council had green-lighted her to receive such allowances. Bro Ying
Siew Kee, while agreeable to Bro Desmond Leong’s view of conflict of interest,
said flexibility should be factored in as the circumstances did not permit the
immediate recruitment of a new administrative clerk.

Sis Melissa Tham proposed to accept the treasurer’s report and was seconded
by Sis Lydia Ong.

6.4 Christian Education Ministry Report – Sister Chin Hoon Yan
Sis Chin Hoon Yan commented that Rainbow Youth and Young Adult Fellowship
meetings had gone online in 2020. Pastor Agnes Wong said the Children Church
had yet to go online. As part of the Christmas celebration, children were given
gifts. Bro Khong Poh Choy proposed to accept her report and it was seconded by
Sis Yeoh Thien Kim.

6.5 Social Concern and Visitation Ministry Report – Sister Rosalind Ng
Amidst the MCO, Sis Rosalind Ng and Pastor Agnes Wong carried out visitations
personally. Sis Kon Choi Ying advised Sis Rosalind Ng that she need not visit the
members personally but rather could just make use of phone calls to express
concerns and care for the members. Christmas love gifts were distributed to
church elders.

Bro Khong Poh Choy said it was time for the new council to consider having
virtual Holy Communion amidst the MCO. Sis Chai Soo Ling expressed her
concern that was brought up by Timothy Chew in the 2019 AGM. She said
history had repeated itself again. It was unwise to upload pictures on social
media groups as such images might be miserable to the parties concerned,
especially when they were uploaded and shared without their consent.
Bro Edward Kon proposed to accept the social concern ministry report while
Melissa Tham seconded it.

6.6 Mission and Evangelism Ministry Report – Sister Tan Lean Hwa
Sis Tan Lean Hwa expressed her thanks and appreciation to Bro Ping Kok Koh,
Sis Kon Choi Ying and every member of the mission team, that despite the
pandemic, they managed to make 7 trips altogether up to Cameron Highlands for
the Orang Asli ministry. Most notably was the trip in December where 40 orang
asli were baptized. Bro Bro Phuak Chew Kit said the new council should assign
financial allocations for this ministry in future.

Sis Chin Hoon Yan proposed to accept the social concern ministry report while
Bro Desmond Leong seconded it.

6.7 Stewardship and Maintenance Ministry Report – Sister Melissa Tham
Pastor Agnes Wong thanked her and Bro Raymond Chin for disinfection done
with proper equipment, hand sanitizers and QR code to adhere to MCO SOPs.
Bro Raymond Chin also expressed his thanks to Bro Ying Siew Kee and Bro Ooi
Kian Hoe for their tireless efforts in getting the weekly church service up and
running again.
Bro Raymond Chin proposed to accept the stewardship and maintenance
ministry report while Bro Khong Poh Choy seconded it.

6.8 Lutheran Kindergarten Report - Sister Soong Wai Siong

Sis Vicky Chen said that she was unfairly dismissed from her post despite the
fact that the kindergarten had managed to claim a total sum of RM51,200

financial aid from the authorities. Bro Raymond Chin replied that it was the
former principal Sis Yeoh Thien Kim who made the decision to employ both Sis
Vicky Chen and Sis Recah. Since they were foreigners, they were not allowed to
work in Malaysia. Yet, the kindergarten took them in to serve in good faith. Since
both are foreigners, they could not be placed in the kindergarten payroll.

Both Sis Vicky and Sis Recah were required to sign on payment vouchers as
allowances were disbursed to them. The Inland Revenue department had
recently started making queries on the payments made to Sis Vicky. The present
principal, Sis Soong Wai Siong made a suggestion to the board members to
cease Sis Vicky’s service since there were complaints from parents with regards
to her Chinese accent and her lack of flexibility. To protect the kindergarten and
the church, Sis Vicky was let go.

Sis Vicky’s raving and ranting went on. Bro Sam Quah, her husband then
interjected, saying that his spouse – Sis Vicky was unfairly treated. Bro Edward
Kon then clarified that in the first place, there was no contract of employment
between the kindergarten and Sis Vicky. Being a foreigner, she had no locus
standi to claim that she had been dismissed. Bro Edward Kon then said that she
could not claim to have been terminated when in the first instance there was
never a contract. As a matter of courtesy, a letter written in Chinese was issued
to her to thank her for her past contribution. The decision to let her go was made
to protect the kindergarten and the church. If the Immigration were aware that
illegals were being engaged, the kindergarten would suffer dire consequences
such as being shut down. Therefore, the protection of the kindergarten and the
church took precedence. It was nothing personal. He advised Bro Sam Quah not
to believe in rumours alleging that his wife was unfairly treated.

Bro Edward Kon rebutted Bro Sam Quah who alleged that the Kindergarten
Board failed to appreciate the service of former principal, Sis Yeoh Thien Kim,
who had tendered her resignation, without any sending off ceremony. Bro
Edward Kon said that the Kindergarten Board did made two attempts to hold a
welcoming- cum-farewell lunch/dinner treat but on both occasions, it was
cancelled because the MCO was still in force.

Bro Ping Kok Koh said the church would have to find ways out of such
predicament. He concurred that what had happened was now water under the
bridge. The new council would have to deliberate and resolve this issue.

Sis Melissa Tham proposed to accept the kindergarten report, seconded by Sis
Cheah Yet Thang.

7. Nomination of New Council

The Nomination Committee, headed by Bro Phuak Chew Kit, and assisted by
Pastor Agnes Wong, Sis Tan Lean Hwa and Sis Lydia Ong had nominated the
following as members of the 2021 Council:

Bro Victor Tan was the sole candidate for the post of chairperson as there was
no other nominee. Bro Khong Poh Choy proposed that the nomination for the
post of chairperson be closed which was seconded by Sis Kon Choi Ying.

Sis Cheah Yet Thang accepted the nomination as the Secretary, and there was
no other nominee. Bro Desmond Leong proposed the nomination closed and was
seconded by Sis Christine Foo.

Likewise, Bro Khong Poh Choy too accepted the nomination for treasurer. Bro
Ping Kok Koh proposed that the nomination be closed and it was seconded by
Sis Kon Choi Ying.

For the rest of the council members, Bro Phuak Chew Kit suggested that floor
members should accept their nomination en masse. Ultimately, when the election
was held, all the respective nominees were unanimously elected.

8. Any Other Business (AOB)

8.1 Bro Ping Kok Koh queried why the need to establish the executive council
(exco) within the council when it was not debated in the 45th AGM. Bro Raymond
Chin told him the exco was set up with the consent of the council, with strong
support from Pastor Agnes. The exco’s formation was found in the council
meeting minutes. The exco was abolished during the last 2020 council meeting.

8.2 Bro Ping Kok Koh proposed that in future members of the kindergarten board
should be elected during the AGM. He also suggested that the new council
should deliberate on terminating the current kindergarten principal, Sis Soong
Wai Siong’s tenure, to be replaced with a Lutheran church candidate. His
proposal was seconded by Sis Cheah Yet Thang.

9. Adjournment and closing prayer

Bro Raymond Chin adjourned the meeting at 1.35pm. Pastor Agnes Wong
closed it with a prayer.

妹提到，上次会议是这样说的。前幼儿园校长兼儿童教会教师 杨珍金姐妹澄清说，他们
进行了探访，但只探访了少数家庭。

6. 报告
向会议提交了以下报告。

6.1 牧师报告 – 黄德敏传道
黄德敏传道报告说，尽管 2020 年发生了疫情，但圣诞节还是以低调的方式庆祝，由于

陈宏亮弟兄感谢 2019-2020 年理事会成员的贡献和服务，并为他可能伤害教会成员感情
的任何不足之处道歉。 彭国高弟兄提议接受主席的报告，得到 吴秋裳姐妹的附议。

6.3 财政报告 – 丘玉菁姐妹
梁宗杰弟兄提出在 2019 年期末余额和 2020 年期初余额中发现的差异。丘玉菁姐妹表示，
差异是由于在电子表格中应用公式导致的错误。这个错误将得到纠正。

潘秋杰弟兄询问为什么将 RM50k 放在 MCO 救济基金下。 丘玉菁表示，议会已同意将其

6.5 社会关怀和家庭探访事工报告 – 吴秋棠姐妹
在行动管制令期间，吴秋棠姐妹和黄德敏传道亲自探访。管彩英姐妹建议吴秋棠姐妹不必
亲自拜访会员，可通过电话表达对会员的关心和关怀即可。圣诞爱心礼物被分发给教会长
老。

邝宝财弟兄表示，现在是新理事会考虑在 MCO 中举行虚拟圣餐的时候了。 蔡淑玲姐妹
表达了她在 2019 年年度股东大会上由 周治良弟兄提出的担忧。她说历史再次重演。在

6.6 宣教布道事工报告 – 陈莲花姐妹
陈莲花姐妹对 彭国高弟兄、管彩英姐妹 和宣教团的每一位成员表示感谢和赞赏，尽管发
生了疫情，他们还是设法为 原住民事工完成了 7 次前往金马伦高原的探访。最值得注意
的是 12 月的一次探访，40 名原住民接受了洗礼。 潘秋杰弟兄表示，新理事会应在未来
为该部分配财政拨款。

陈竑晏姐妹提议接受社会关怀部的报告，梁宗杰弟兄附议。

6.7 管理和维修部报告 – 谭丽霞姐妹
黄德敏传道感谢她和陈宏亮弟兄提供适当的设备、洗手液和二维码进行消毒，以遵守
MCO SOP。 陈宏亮弟兄也感谢 袁少奇弟兄和 黄建和弟兄为使每周的教堂服务重新开始
和运行所做的不懈努力。

陈宏亮弟兄提议接受管理和维修部的报告，邝宝财附议。

6.8 信义会幼稚园报告 –Soong Wai Siong 姐妹
陈丽荣姐妹说，尽管幼儿园已设法向当局申请了总额为 51,200 令吉的经济援助，但她被
不公平地开除。 陈宏亮弟兄回答说，是前校长 杨珍金决定聘用 陈丽荣姐妹和 Recah。由
于他们是外国人，他们不被允许在马来西亚工作。然而，幼儿园却善意地收留了他们。由
于两人都是外国人，他们不能被列入幼儿园工资单。

8. 任何其他业务 (AOB)
8.1 彭国高弟兄质疑为何需要在第 45 届年度股东大会上没有辩论时在理事会内设立执行

6.1 主理传道报告 黄德敏传道

感谢上帝的恩典与带领！和新生命堂弟兄姐妹们给予敝人机会在堂会的服事已经进入第五
个年头了（2017 八月份始）。众所周知我们与全世界已经进入新冠疫情的第三年 3.0，
疫情虽然继续肆孽和无情！但上帝满满的恩典，保守与看顾的应许都随着祂的儿女们和教
会。虽然在疫情下，去年有许多的长者们都先后离开了我们，我们确实痛失了许多的会友！
但其中也确实见证上帝在其中特别的恩典、怜悯、安慰与带领，让一切的丧礼事宜都得以
平安与顺利的进行。

然而，看到一些弟兄姐妹在疫情下委身的服事与默默的付出，甚是让身为牧者和领袖们得
以感到慰藉与鼓舞之事。愿荣耀归于至上上帝的圣名！也愿上帝亲自赐福报答凡在祂面前
乐意捐献与委身、忠心事奉的弟兄姐妹们。特此要见证耶和华以勒的上帝，在疫情下牧者
与每一位领袖特别是负责崇拜的事奉人员我们都面对了事工的调整与严峻的考验和挑战，
正所谓“计划赶不上变化”的情形年复一年。感恩上帝预备职青成团队在两堂崇拜的事工中
不断的寻求科技资讯上进步和更新并提供崇拜中直播的服务，使更多的弟兄姐妹们可以在
不方便前来参与实体崇拜时，多了一个选择即参与线上直播包括线上圣餐。感恩！！与鼓
舞，特别是看到弟兄姐妹们愿意学习成长和作自我灵里调整的心志。

然而与其关注弟兄姐妹们是否固定参与实体或线上崇拜，更关切的则是会友们属灵生命的
成长观景。深切期望弟兄姐妹能在面对疫情下的考验时，彼此主里的扶持、同心服事与爱
心劝勉。所以牧者和执事们同心议决将延续去年教会的主题『齐心合一』，继续前往更加
爱神、爱人的目标前进和努力。特别为今年中文线上祷告会的参与人数增加倍数感恩！也
越来越多的弟兄姐妹们可以学习上线参与封锁期间（五月份）每周的线上主日崇拜和各项
线上活动及珍惜重新开放时的实体崇拜（十二月份）特别是未能上线的长者们。还有每周
间日须要凭着信心回到教会服事和工作信义幼儿园的园长及老师们（七月份复课），愿主
赐福与报答她们。
特感谢新届执事部“承先启后”为过去未能完成的教内外许多事工进行更新与突破。不论是
建堂如还清总会的贷款、教会里外建筑设施的装修或维修、环境的设置、成立游戏小组和
危机处理小组等事工。还有特别是对本堂有需要的会友提供基本日常需要，延至对社区的
关怀与服务如提供救济物品和幼儿园贫苦家庭学生的助学金等。这些事工在疫情下得以推
展确实如“雪中送炭”般珍贵！愿主赐福。

但愿正迈向教会主题齐心合一 2.0 之余，我们靠主的力量，展望未来：祈求上帝继续赐福
与带领新生命堂的牧者、领袖们特别是执事部和各肢体领袖及弟兄姐妹们能有在主里的同

感一灵、各按其职、继续『用和平彼此联络，竭力保守圣灵所赐合而为一的心。』（弗 4
章 3 节）面对未来教会各事工的挑战与考验。特别是在爱上帝（如谨守主日、个人灵修&
研读圣经、参与祷告会、奉献与服事上学习成长并精益求精。）；爱人（如增强家人关系

与见证、参与代祷、关怀&服伺（必要时的探访、送餐、带领去看医生、接种疫苗等）、

下智慧、创意和所需用的各项恩赐或恩膏来启示、继续指示和引领我们如何教会上下同心
合一并达成个人与教会各事工的方向和目标，荣神益人！阿们。

6.1 Pastor Report Pastor Wong Teck Mee, Agnes

Thank God for His grace and guidance! And the opportunity given to me to serve in
New Life Lutheran church since August 2017. As we all know, we are now entering the
third year of having the Covid-19 pandemic which has seriously affecting our daily life.
Though the Covid-19 pandemic is causing pain and adversity in us, the fullness of
God's grace, the promise of protection and care, is with his children and the church.
Many elders left us last year due to the infection of Covid-19 pandemic, but it also does
testify to God's special grace, mercy, comfort and guidance in it, so that all funeral
matters were carried out safely and smoothly.

However, seeing some brothers and sisters dedicated to serving and giving silently
during the epidemic is very comforting and encouraging for the pastors and leaders.
May all the glory be to God. May God personally bless and reward all brothers and
sisters who are willing to donate, dedicate and serving faithfully before Him. I hereby
bear witness to the God of Jehovah Jireh that the Pastor and leaders especially those
who are responsible for the worship ministry have undergone challenges to adjust and
to adapt to the new worship order. We are grateful to God for leading the working youth
constantly seeking technological improvement by providing live broadcast services
during worship. This is to enable those who are unable to attending physical worship
can have alternative worship platform including virtual communion. We are touched and
encouraged by brothers and sister who are willing to learn in order to grow and to adjust
spiritually and emotionally in the new normalcy.

Instead of paying attention to whether brothers and sisters regularly participate in
physical or online worship, it is more important to concern the spiritual status of our
members. We sincerely hope that brothers and sisters can support, serve together and
exhort one another with love when facing the test of the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore,
Pastors and the Council have decided to continue to use the last year church theme
“United Together “in order to foster the aim to love God and men more and move
forward towards our goal. Give thanks for the increase of participants in Chinese online
prayer meeting this year. There are more brothers and sisters who are learning to
participate online weekly Sunday worship during the lockdown in May.

We treasure and cherish the physical worship when church reopened in December.
This is good for those senior members who are unable to do online worship. We also
like to thank the kindergarten teachers who have to come to help out in the church
ministry other than having the work in kindergarten. May God bless them richly.
Special thanks to the new council for completing the unfinished works by having
renewal and breakthrough. We have managed to pay off the building loan, improved the
facilities and the maintained conducive environment for worship. We have also set up
game team and crisis management team. We also give assistance in kind and money to
those needy church members. The assistance also extended to the family of our
kindergarten children and the nearby community. Services such as providing relief items
and bursaries for students from poor families in kindergarten. May God shower the
blessings.

As we move towards the church theme of United Together 2.0, we will rely on the power
of the Lord to move forward. Pray that God will continue to bless and lead the Pastors
and leaders of New Life Church, especially the council and the leaders of various
ministries as well as brothers and sisters can have one spirit, work according to their
duties and continue to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond
of peace (Ephesians 4:3) to face the challenges and trials of the various ministries of
the church in the future. Especially love God (e.g. Sunday observance, personal
devotion & Bible study, participation in prayer meeting, giving and serving); love for
people (e.g. strengthening family relationships and testimony, participating in
intercession, caring & Serving (visiting, delivering meals when necessary, bringing
people to visit doctor, vaccinations, etc.) Small groups/fellowships (currently suitable for
online), various services and evangelism, etc. to achieve a balanced development.
Glory to the name of the Lord!

We wish to specially pray for the ministries that we have not been able to fully
implement due to Covid-19 pandemic in the past two years, such as children, youth,
and vocational youth. We hope to train and prepare for future leaders and successors of
the church! Lord have mercy. Pray that the Holy Spirit will give wisdom, creativity, and
all the gifts or anointings needed to enlighten us. Continue to lead and guide us on how
to unite the church and achieve the direction and goals of personal and church
ministries, glorifying God and benefiting others! Amen.

理事会在 31.1.1.121 年选出以来，我们以高效和顺利的方式面对管理教会的许多挑战。
随着疫情、各种封锁和遵守标准管制守则，我们的任务并没有那么容易。.

多亏了先进的技术，我们能够通过线上继续我们教会的各种活动和事工。 感谢负责管理

Zoom 和互联网的弟兄姐妹们。 由于他们的辛勤工作，我们能够毫无障碍地运作。 我们
也要感谢会众的理解与合作。

在这些艰难时期，理事会对教会结构进行了一些改进，以及与会友交流的新方式。
我们加入了一些新的事工来加强我们教会的活动，例如：

危机管理
游戏事工
导师-被指导者
社会与关怀
社会关怀 （好撒玛利亚人事工）
牧者公告
小组讨论
每个事工都由一个团队而不是个人管理。 这将使该部的工作更轻松、更有效。 我们要感
谢那些在各个部委中提供帮助的同工。 我们在各部委中需要更多的同工。 希望有更多的
人愿意提供帮助。

我们始终铭记上帝要我们为非信徒带来福音信息的任务和命令。目前，我们的教会有 4
个外展事工来接触非信徒。

我们真的要感谢上帝对我们教会的丰富怜悯。 请继续严格遵守 SOP。 保持警惕，避免去
人多的地方。 我们的重点是预防措施。 每个人都需要自我调节，并在你的活动和互动中

保持纪律。

我还要感谢传道和理事会成员的大力支持、理解和合作，使教会能够高效地向前迈进，并

6.2 Council Chairman Report Brother Victor Tan Pang Teck

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

Since the Council was elected on 31.1.2021, we face many challenges to manage the
church in an efficient and smooth manner. With the pandemic, various lockdowns and
observing SOP, our tasks has not been easy.

Thanks to new technology we are able to continue our various activities and ministries
in church via online streaming. Thanks to those brothers and sisters who are in-charge
of managing the Zoom and internet. Due to their hardwork, we are able to function
without much hindrances. We also like to thank the congregation for their understanding
and cooperation.

In these trying period, the Council has make some improvement to the church structure
and new ways to communicate with church members.

We have included some new ministries to strengthen our church activities such as:

Property Management Crisis Management

Games Ministry Mentor-Mentee

Social and Care Good Samaritan

Pastoral Announcement Group Discussion

Each ministry is managed by a Team instead of individuals. This would make the
ministry work lighter and more effective. We want to thank those who have help out in
various ministries. We are in need of more helpers in various ministries. Hope more
people will volunteer to help out.

We are always mindful of the tasks and commands of God to bring the gospel message

to the non-Christians. At present our church has 4 Outreach ministries to reach out to

non-Christians.

i) Kindergarten iii) Orang Asli Ministry

ii) Good Samaritan iv) Games Ministry

We really want to thank God for his abundant mercies to our church. Please continue
to follow SOP strictly. Be vigilant and avoid crowded places. Our focus is on preventive
measures. Everyone need to self-regulate and be discipline in your movement and
interactions.

I also like to thank the Pastors and Council members for their strong support,
understanding and cooperation so that the church can move forward efficiently and with
a clear vision.

To close, I give all thanks and glory to God for his goodness and mercies to us. Amen.

6.4.1 彩虹少年团契

感谢神因祂是我们的依靠。圣经上记载着：“信就是所望之事的实底，是未见之事的确
据。”（希伯来书 11：1）虽然我们只有两个时常出席的少年人，我们想感谢神虽然疫情
的情况我们能够用网络不同的平台去和少年人了解他们的近况。于此同时，我们也和其他
没有出席的少年人们保持联络。也希望我们能够在安排一个时间让其他少年人也能够参加
我们的活动。

自从八月起，我们把聚会时间从每个星期六傍晚 4:30 换去每个星期六晚上以迁就活跃的
少年人。我们将会再次更改时间以方便更多少年人出席聚会。以下是一年的活动：

电影晚会 游戏晚会
祷告会 感恩晚会

导师以及助手们还在学习如何带领少年人，所以想要在此和大家道歉，因为我们有些地方
还需改进。我们今年将竭尽全力把福音传给还没信主的少年人，让他们愿意在他们的生活
当中来依靠主耶稣作为他们的救主。

感谢主！我们非常荣幸能够发起这个圣诞礼物发出及探访少年人们以及知道他们的近况和
如何安排接下来的少年团活动。在 12 月 23 日当天把礼物发出并去探访且把我们的祝福
送到的三个家庭如下：
（a） 陈凯希，陈凯定和吴镇洋（凯希和凯定的堂兄）
（b） 叶承轩和叶泇慧
（c） 夏颂原

还有一份礼物交给了吴雪祈姐妹把礼物发给她的弟弟，吴伟轩。
还有其他三份礼物还没发出，因为少年们当时并不在。我们将会再次安排时间把礼物送出。

6.4.1 Rainbow Youth Fellowship Sister Angelina Chin Hoon Yan

Thank you Lord for He is always faithful towards us. As the Bible in Hebrews 11:1 told
us: “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
Although we only had two regular members, we want to thank Him that in the current
pandemic situation, we are still able to use various platforms on the internet to get to
know the situations of our members. In the meantime, we tried to keep in touch with the
members that no longer attending our online gathering. Hopefully, we will be able to
arrange a time where there will be more would be able to join the fellowship.

We changed our fellowship time from Saturday evening at 4:30 to Friday night at 8 pm
because the current active members won’t be able to attend the fellowship at the
previous time since August. We would rearrange the time again in order to suit the
needs of the youths. Hereby below is the list of activities done:

There are things that all the mentors and helpers are still in the learning stage that we
might not be able to do well and we would like to apologize for the mistakes that we had
done in the previous year. We will try our best again this year that we will be able to
spread the gospel to the youths that are yet to know God and rely on Jesus to be their
Saviour in their daily lives.

Report of Christmas Gifts to the Youth:

Praise the Lord! We are glad to have organized this Christmas Gift Visitation for some
of the youths and get to know their situation and what we should plan for the future
event for the Youth Fellowship. We went to three houses on the 23rd of December and
sent out our Christmas Greetings to them as well.

Below shown the name list of youths that we sent the Gifts to:

a. Kai Xi, Kai Ding and Zhen Yang (cousin of Kai Xi and Kai Ding)
b. Zhen Hin and Jia Hui
c. Edson

One gift was passed to Joyce Ng to give to her brother, Wei Xuen. There are 3 gifts left
because the Youths are not around. We will plan a visit to them soon.

This is the overall report of Rainbow Youth Fellowship. All the glory and honor belongs

我们想要为着陈封德弟兄和 Pastor Sunil 在这一年里的查经和分享的教导方式来感谢神。
因着他们在这一年里的教导，职青们的灵命也能够得到帮助。虽然职青团契人数少，但是

我们也会继续邀请其他职青能够在他们的空闲时间来一起学习神的话语让他们也能够受益。

职青团契的活动如下：

We would want to thank the Lord for Brother Victor and Pastor Sunil to mentor the
young adults by providing Bible Study and by sharing different topics to help the young
adults to grow spiritually. Although the numbers are small, we continue to invite the
young adults who are free to join our Bible Study and Topic sharing’s so that they will be
benefited from these.

The activities of Young Adult Fellowship were listed below:
(a) Bible Study on Ephesians
(b) Sharing topics of:

a. Career - Work
b. Why do Young People Struggle with their faith?
c. Can Christians listen to secular music?
d. Young Bible character: Gideon
e. Dream (Impian)

6.4.3 查经与祷告会 (英文部) 陈封德弟兄

查经班

每个星期二。时间从晚上 7.30 到 8.30。
目前我们大约有 6 至 10 人参加 查经班。有时会有 1 至 2 个非基督徒加入我们。我们要
感谢上帝，我们的教会现在有查经班。因为我们教会多年来都没有查经班。这不是一个良

好的情况。教会应该是一个可以让人们进来分享或讨论神的话语的地方。我们鼓励更多的

人加入我们。不仅是为了学习神的话语，也可以有团契时间。

祷告会
每个星期二。时间从晚上 8.30 到晚上 9.30。
目前我们大约有六到八人参加祷告会。我们为教会、教会里的领袖们、传道、病者、原住
民事工祈祷，也为我们的国家和为着国家能有良好的管理而祈祷。如果会友们能够彼此祈
祷，彼此关心，并寻求上帝的医治，将会是一个好的现象。我们鼓励更多人们可以加入我
们的祷告会。

6.4.3 Bible Study and Prayer Meeting (Eng Congregation) Brother Victor Tan

Bible Study
Every Tuesday. Time from 7.30 to 8.30 pm.
At present we have about 6 to 10 persons attending the BS. Sometimes 1 or 2 non-
Christians will join us. We want to thank God that our church now has in-house Bible
Study. For many years we do not have any in-house Bible Study. This is not a healthy
situation. A church should be a place where people can come in for sharing or
discussion on God’s Word. We encourage more people to join us. Not only to study
God’s Word but also to have fellowship together.

Prayer Meeting
Every Tuesday. Time from 8.30 to 9.30 pm.
At present we have about 6 to 8 people attending Prayer Meeting. We prayed for the
church, its leaders, pastors, for the sick, orang Asli ministry, pray for our country and
good management of the country. It is good if church members pray for one another,
show concern for one another and seek healings from God. We encourage more people
to join in our prayer meetings.

6.4.4 Mentor-Mentee 计划 Peter Sunil (Pastor)

Mentor-mentee 计划于去年在 New Life 中推出。 整个教会的目的是使耶稣成为门徒。
该计划的目的是教导和装备教会成员从事事工。

第一个导师-学员计划是在课程中，基督教领导和管理。 本课程由彼得·苏尼尔牧师主持。
领导和行政是教会非常重要的职能。

大部分英语会众的领袖和成员都参加了这个课程。

6.4.4 Mentor-Mentee Program Peter Sunil (Pastor)

The Mentor-mentee program was introduced last year in New Life. The purpose of the
church at large is to make disciples of Jesus. The purpose of this program is to teach
and equip members of the church for ministry.

The first mentor-mentee program was on the course, Christian Leadership and
Administration. This course was facilitated by Pastor Peter Sunil.

This course was well attended by mostly leaders and members of the English
congregation.

6.5.1 物业管理
成员 ：

目的 ：
监督教会物业，给予适当的维修，以确保会友们可以安全的使用。

在去年的大部分时间里都因为封锁的关系，我们无法进入教堂场所。 希望今年情况会有

所改善。年内开展了多项工作，例如：

- 拿走教会大堂入口处的台阶，以防会友们跌倒。
- 安装灯管以在夜间更能照亮教堂场所
- 更换已磨损的电动门发动机和滚筒

2022 年各项工作计划（受疫情限制及 SOP 较少）
- 为磨损的墙壁或结构油漆
- 为电动门和墙格栅油漆
- 覆盖乐器，以免积尘
- 用包书纸包裹或重新包裹赞美诗书

6.5.1 Property Management Brother Victor Tan

Objective:
To upkeep church property with proper maintenance as well as to make it safe and
secure for its users.

For a major part of last year, we are unable to enter church premises due to several
lockdowns. Hopefully this year the situation will improve. Various work has been done
during the year such as :

- Take away the cement slab at church entrance door to prevent people from
falling.

- Install lighting to brighten up the church premises at night
- Change electric gate motor and roller which has worn out

Various work plan for Year 2022 (subject to less restriction and SOP due to pandemic)

- Put covering on musical instruments to avoid collecting dust

6.5.2 危机管理 陈封德弟兄

成员 ：陈封德弟兄 邝宝财弟兄 谢怡丹姐妹

目的 ：

1) 让教会中的一群人准备好应对如果疫情加重的情况
2) 当教会出现感染（危机）时，我们要做好准备。 我们必须知道该怎么做。 而不是

感到不幸，不知道在危机中该怎么办。

3) 采取预防感染的先发制人措施。

我们一共开了 6 次会议。 我们从三个方面讨论了疫情。
1) 危机前期（预防阶段）
2) 危机期间（危机应对计划）
3) 危机后期（恢复阶段的准备）

经过讨论，我们得出：

i) 我们自己圣堂内关于进行崇拜的 SOP。
ii) 疫情时期危机管理手册。如果教堂场所发生感染（危机），本手册将作为指南。

两 (2) 份手册将保存在教会办公室以备将来参考。
iii) 名为“给会众的重要建议”的预防指南

团队强烈鼓励会众在教堂场所遵守严格的 SOP，以避免感染。 自我调节是预防感染的好
方法。

6.5.2 Crisis Management Brother Victor Tan

Objectives:
1) To prepare a group of people in church to be ready to tackle the pandemic
problem if it arises.
2) We want to be ready and prepared when there is an infection (crisis) in church.
We must know what to do. Instead of feeling hapless and don’t know what to do
in a crisis.
3) To take preemptive measures to prevent infections.

Altogether we had 6 meetings. We discussed the pandemic from 3 aspects.
1) Pre-Crisis Period (Prevention Stage)
2) During Crisis Period (Crisis Response Plan)
3) Post Crisis Period (Preparation for Recovery Stage)

After discussions we manage to produce:
i) Our own Sanctuary SOP for worship purposes.
ii) A Manual on Crisis Management during Pandemic Times.
This handbook will be used as a guide in the event there is an infection (crisis) in
church premises. Two (2) copies of Manual is kept in church office for future
reference.
iii) A preventive guideline entitled “Important Advice to Congregation”.

The Team strongly encourage the congregation to observe strict SOP while in church
premises to avoid infections. Self-regulation is a good way to prevent infections.

6.6 社会关怀事工报告 Social Concern Ministry Report

6.6.1 社会关怀 & 探访事工/家庭圣餐 吴秋裳姐妹

社会关怀 （好撒玛利亚人事工）

因新冠病毒肆虐全球， 导致许多人丢掉饭碗，生计收到影响。教会因此设立了此事工，
以援助贫困的人士。成员包括陈封德，谢怡丹，邝宝财，杨珍金和吴秋裳。

受惠人士原有 7 位狮尾崇德华小学生及 1 位年老非会友（天主教徒）。随着疫情下降，
政府开放多个领域，生活好转，3 位学生退出了此计划，现剩下 4 位学生。每个月除了替
1 位学生家长交房租，其他的都是买食品给他们。

深愿通过此事工，能把未信者带到主前，享受祂无尽的供应及祝福。阿门。

探访事工/家庭圣餐报告

因疫情的严峻，探访事工今年停止探访及施圣餐给行动不便的会友。在这段日子，虽不能
探访，我们也透过电话与他们连接，问候等。私底下我有时也亲自探访附近的年老会友，
如覃绍英老姐妹，邓绮华姐妹，高宝珠姐妹和杨梅姐妹等。

此事工成员包括黄徳敏传道，曹彼得牧师及吴秋裳姐妹。

6.6.1 Good Samaritan and Visitation Sister Rosalind Ng

Good Samaritan

The Covid pandemic has spread across the world, resulted in job losses and affected
livelihoods of many. Hence the church set up this ministry to help the needy in the
community, with members comprised of Victor Tan, Cheah Yet Thang, Khong Poh Choy,
Mimi Yeoh and Rosalind Ng.

The beneficiaries include 7 Chung Tuck primary school students and 1 non-church
elderly (a catholic). As the Covid situation improved, the government allowed more
industries to operate and hence improved the economy. Now 3 students have exited the
program and the other 4 remain. Every month we help a student to pay rent and buy
groceries for other beneficiaries.

It is our hope that pre-believers will come to know Christ through this ministry and enjoy
his unlimited provision and blessings. Amen.

Visitation

Visitation ministry members include Pastor Agnes, Rev. Peter Chua and Rosalind Ng.
Due to the seriousness of Covid situation, visitation ministry has stopped visiting and
serving holy communion to church members with mobility issues. Nevertheless, we still
connect with them through phone calls. Other times, I pay private visitations to elderly
church members who live in church vicinity, such as Shum Siew Ying, Mrs Iek, Helen
Kow, and Cindy Young.

Members of this work include Pastor Agnes Wong, Pastor Peter Chua and Sister
Rosalind Ng.

社会与关怀报告

成员 : 杨珍金姐妹 、吴秋棠姐妹、谢怡丹姐妹、陈封德弟兄 、邝宝财弟兄

社会关怀有以下两项工作：

罗马书 12 : 13 圣徒缺乏要帮补，客要一味地款待。

1) 会友的关怀 –
在疫情的冲击中，有些会友在生活中极需要缓助，因此我们 为这些家庭每月提供

一百元的物资供应，受惠者共有六人。

希伯来书 13 : 16 只是不可忘记行善和捐输的事，因为这样的祭，是神喜悦的。

2) 好撒玛利亚人 - （住教会附近的非基督徒）
疫情使一些人失去工作或正常的收入，因此影响他们正常的家庭生活，为减轻他们
的负担。我们为一些教会附近的非会友提供每月六十元的物资供应，并希望通过接

触有机会向他们传福音。受惠者共十五人。

1) Social and Care (For church members)
We are aware that in church there are some members that needs help. As fellow
brothers and sisters we are making efforts to reach out and assist them. Every
month we will purchased basic foodstuffs worth RM100 and delivered to them. At
present there are six (6) persons that are receiving help.

Heb. 13: 16
Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God
is pleased.

2) Good Samaritan (For non-Christians living in vicinity of church)
During this pandemic times we are aware that many people lost their jobs or
income. Many families are badly affected. As a church we want to give a helping
hand and lighten their burdens. We choose to focus on those people who are
staying in the vicinity of the church. Every month we will purchased basic
foodstuffs worth RM60 and delivered to them. At present there are fifteen (15)
persons that are receiving help. By helping them we are also seeing that God
has open doors for us to reach out to them in future.

当我们可以邀请非基督徒参加游戏时，也可以当做一个扩展事工。

目前我们有 13 个赞助商。 每个人都为比赛的获胜者赞助了一份礼物。 我们感谢慷慨的
赞助商。

在中文部中，我们每周大约有 9 到 13 人参加

在英文部中，我们每周大约有 10 到 14 人参加。

目前中文部有 3 名非基督徒加入我们的游戏。

我们真心希望更多的会员能够加入我们，这样我们就可以一起玩得开心，为教会带来一个
更欢乐的氛围。

Objectives:
To bring fun and laughter into the church environment.
Also to foster fellowship and interactions among brothers and sisters.
It is also an outreach work when we invite non-Christians to join in the Games.

At present we have 13 Sponsors. Each person sponsors a gift for the winners of the
Games. We thanked the sponsors for their generosity.

At the Chinese congregation we have about 9 to 13 participants per week

At the English congregation we have about 10 to 14 participants per week.

At present there are 3 non-Christians in the Chinese Congregation joining us in
these Games.

We really hope more members will come in and join us so that we can have fun
together and create excitement in church environment.

6.7.1 原住民宣教布道事工 邝宝财弟兄

原住民宣教事工

恩典与平安来自我们的父神和主耶稣基督。
今年成立了一个委员会以策划和监督原住民事工为要。
委员会成员由以下人员组成：

4. 谢怡丹姐妹
5. 蔡淑玲姐妹
6. 陈连花姐妹

我们非常感激和感恩於彭弟兄夫妇乐意担任原住民事工的顾问。凭借他们对参与原住民事

工方面超过 10 年的丰富经验，并在圣灵的帮助和授权下，祈求上帝继续祝福我们的原住
民事工，以擴展神的国度。

由于 行动管制令(MCO) 的延长，原先策划到 Pos Betau 村庄当地领导人的定期访问受到
了拦阻。

7 月 21 日，宣布被列在紧急行动管制令（EMCO） 的村庄位于打巴第 19 英里直至 Pos
Betau 区。尽管是在紧急行动管制令期间，我们还是设法透过智慧手机 whatsapp 功能，
双方保持联系以获取信息和跟进有关他们状况的最新消息。

根据 9 月 21 日报道，当地有 70% 的确诊人数，来自 Pos Betau 社区，其中包括一些当
地牧者 Bah Man, 领导人 Jamil 弟兄以及 Kampong Simoi 村庄的酋长 Tok Batin 也相继
被感染了。

感谢上帝，经过我们持续逼切地祷告，神的医治大能、怜悯和保守临到原住民社区。 酋

长 Tok Batin 在住院期间看见异象，亲自经历了上帝的同在，并在事发的一个月过后决志
受洗了。将一切荣耀和尊贵都归给我们的主耶稣基督。

11 月和 12 月末，金马仑高原多地因大雨而发生水患和山崩事件，然而令人惊讶的是在
2021 年 12 月份两次的短宣中， 每到抵达拜访的村庄，我们经历到上帝皆允许我们的车
辆在乾地上行驶， 使我们毫不费力的顺利完成所有分发粮食与食品给那些村名的工作。

哈利路亚！ 以马内利，上帝与我们同在，并在我们身上彰显。再次将所有颂赞荣耀归于

神！
