Individual Apprentice Portfolio

This is one of my requirements for our Supervised Field Work in the Municipality of Corella.

REFLECTION DAY 32 August 17, 2023 Today, we, #TeamCorella apprentices, assisted in the refinement of the Comprehensive Development Plan outputs at the Corella Training Center. Our engagement in providing technical assistance highlights our dedication to capacity building and knowledge transfer. Our involvement not only supports the refinement process but also fosters professional growth and hands-on learning. This collaborative effort in refining the CDP of the municipality underscores the LGU’s emphasis on effective governance and participatory decision-making. It demonstrates a commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and the integration of diverse perspectives. In a broader context, I believe that the initiatives like this play a vital role in shaping the destiny of the municipality. Acting as observers also during the activity, we can draw inspiration from this reflection on Corella's proactive approach to development. It serves as a reminder of the importance of involving all stakeholders, fostering learning and growth, and aiming for a future that prioritizes the well-being and aspirations of the community. Working despite not feeling well is a challenging experience that often requires a delicate balance between personal well-being and professional responsibilities. I still reported to work despite my condition because I believe I will be sicker when left alone in the house. The decision to work while unwell showcases my work ethic and a sense of responsibility. Amid the challenges of working while not feeling well, experiencing the unexpected joy of my husband's surprise visit brings a heartwarming and uplifting dimension to the day. The moments of connection and love had a profound impact on my emotional well-being and perspective. I just feel happy today because of this surprise. I believe this is a powerful reminder of the support network I have and I felt his attentiveness to my well-being. His gesture demonstrates care, understanding, love, and a willingness to go out of his way to be with me and I feel really loved by him. Page 51 of 241

This moment gave me the energy to update our weekly team and my individual online tracker accomplishment report. I am certain that maintaining our online tracker for individual and team weekly accomplishment reports is a valuable practice that can contribute to enhanced communication, transparency, and productivity within a team. I also think our tracker serves as a centralized platform for sharing updates and accomplishments. REFLECTION DAY 33 August 18, 2023 As we approach the finalization of our policy brief for presentation next week, I find myself reflecting on the journey we've undertaken and the significance of this upcoming milestone. This process has been both challenging and enlightening, and I believe it has prepared us well to present a compelling set of policy options. This has reminded me of the crucial role of effective communication. Presenting our policy options in a concise manner is essential to ensure our message resonates with our stakeholders. This exercise honed our communication skills and reinforced the importance of conveying information clearly to facilitate understanding and support. The #TeamCorella apprentices invested significant time and effort in gathering accurate data, conducting stakeholder consultations, and comprehensively assessing the challenges and opportunities at hand. A series of interviews, brainstorming sessions, and discussions enriched our perspectives and allowed us to benefit from the diverse expertise and insights of local functionaries. We faced the task of selecting the most appropriate policy options from a wide array of choices. We are still finalizing our policy recommendations and we will ensure that these are grounded in a thorough understanding of the context. Our discussions centered around evaluating the impact, urgency, and resource availability of each option to finalize our policy recommendations, which serve as actionable steps that contribute directly to our municipality's development goals and aspirations. We are taking serious action for our policy brief as we see it as not merely a theoretical exercise but a roadmap for real-world change and improvement of the municipality. As we finalize the policy brief, we recognize that our work does not end here. The implementation of these recommendations will be a journey that requires ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and adaptability to ensure their effectiveness and relevance. Lastly, I've realized the value of anticipating potential questions and concerns that local functionaries might raise. Being well-prepared to address these queries demonstrates a thorough understanding of our recommendations and enhances our credibility. Page 52 of 241

I’m excited to finish our policy brief since it is one of the major fieldwork requirements. As I move forward, I carry with me a deep appreciation for the value of experiential learning and a renewed commitment to contributing positively to the world around me. After this, I will focus on my individual portfolio and finalization of our requirements. REFLECTION DAY 34 August 19, 2023 As I reflect on the process of completing the policy brief titled "Revitalizing Corella's Growth: A Policy Brief for Sustainable Economic Development," I am filled with a sense of fulfillment. I really enjoyed this process as this has not only allowed me to delve deep into the economic challenges and potential opportunities of the municipality but also provided a platform to propose practical solutions that can shape the LGU’s future and transformation. Throughout the analysis and writing process, I have gained a deeper understanding of the complex interplay between various economic, social, and environmental factors that influence the LGU’s development. Analyzing Corella's current economic landscape and identifying key bottlenecks has highlighted the urgency of implementing targeted policies to foster sustainable growth. What struck me the most from this project is the importance of a holistic approach to economic development. There’s a need for a broader perspective that encompasses aspects such as economic, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and quality of life of residents is crucial. This is personal for me because I have experienced living in this community for over a month now. Also, crafting viable policy recommendations required careful consideration. We ensured that we balance the immediate needs of Corella's economy with the imperative of laying the groundwork for sustained progress. As we conclude this policy brief, I am reminded of the transformative potential that well-informed policies can have on a community which was highlighted during module 2 in this training program. While the challenges of revitalizing Corella's growth are undoubtedly formidable, they are not impossible. It is my hope that the recommendations put forth in our policy brief will serve as a catalyst for constructive dialogue, strategic planning, and collective action. If these suggestions are embraced and adapted to Corella's specific context, they have the power to steer the LGU toward a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous future. And I hope that we can witness that in the near future. We will now focus our energy on preparing for the presentation of our policy brief slated next week. I am excited to finish our requirements of this Supervised Field Work and enjoy the remaining period assisting the LGU and proposing innovations. Page 53 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 35 August 20, 2023 As I reflect on my Sunday was a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of the workweek. It was a chance to unwind, recharge, and engage in activities that bring joy and relaxation. I’m glad to have been visited by my husband who really prepared and cooked good meals for us this weekend. Spending quality time with my husband was heartwarming. We shared conversations, laughter, and strengthened our bond. We likewise attended and heard mass today which brought a sense of peace. It was a time to reflect, find inspiration, and reconnect with my faith. These moments are a reminder of the importance of spirituality and nurturing relationships in my life. This reflection reminds me of the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, as it directly contributes to my overall well-being and productivity. Preparing the presentation for the policy brief was a significant task that required careful planning, and attention to detail. It reminded me of the value of thorough preparation in any professional endeavor. As we worked on the presentation, I recognized the need for clear communication, compelling visuals, and a wellstructured narrative to convey the message effectively. Good thing, we have a very creative colleague in #TeamCorella apprentices. Also, I had the chance to update the weekly individual and team accomplishment reports. This served as a reminder of the progress we've made and the goals we've achieved. It highlighted the importance of tracking and celebrating our accomplishments, it may be small or large. Reviewing these reports allowed me to appreciate the collective efforts of the team and acknowledge the contributions of each member. It also provided insights into areas where improvements could be made, fostering a sense of accountability and continuous growth. I believe that these activities underscored the multifaceted nature of a balanced and productive life. They highlighted the significance of self-care, thorough preparation, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork. This made me realize that I have to ensure to prioritize my well-being, approach tasks with diligence, and foster a culture of collaboration and achievement within the team. I know everything will make sense in the future. I just have to continue trusting the process. Well, to end this reflection, I’m glad that there’s no work tomorrow! Moreover, our supervisor granted me permission to utilize my pass slip for Monday, enabling me to have extended time with my husband, who will be returning home on Tuesday. Page 54 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 36 August 21, 2023 -Republic Act No. 2956, signed into law in 2004, declares August 21 of every year as “Ninoy Aquino Day.” Spending a holiday with my husband was an enchanting escape, woven with love and shared moments. We embraced the freedom to explore and cherish each other's company. The pass slip I used was definitely worth it. It served as a gateway to unlocking thrilling escapades, allowing us entry to captivating encounters. We partook in the Loboc River Cruise and explored the Sikatuna Mirror of the World. Additionally, we had the opportunity to tour the Loay and Loboc churches. Our detour to the manmade forest was also a memorable experience. As we ventured into new places, this trip became a symbol of discovery, igniting our curiosity to unravel the beauty around us. The joy of being together etched a chapter in our story, reminding us that sometimes the smallest things can lead to the grandest adventures. Page 55 of 241

Even if we are not required to write a reflection, I just want to share this memory in my daily journal because of how memorable it was. REFLECTION DAY 37 August 22, 2023 As I sit down to write the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and script for the upcoming policy brief presentation scheduled for tomorrow, I'm filled with a mix of anticipation and responsibility. This task carries the weight of effectively communicating complex ideas to a diverse audience in a concise and understandable manner. Writing the FAQs feels like a critical step in ensuring that the audience engages with the policy brief presentation. I'm reminded that not everyone will have the same level of familiarity with the topic, so these questions should cater to a range of understanding. As I draft each question, I find myself putting myself in the shoes of someone hearing about this policy for the first time. What questions would naturally arise? What points might be unclear? I aim to strike a balance between addressing the basics and delving into more nuanced aspects that could spark interest and deeper understanding. Actually, the feedback from our supervisor was a guide in our FAQs. On another note, crafting the script for the presentation is where my thoughts turn to storytelling. I recognize the importance of weaving a narrative that captures attention and maintains it throughout the presentation. A clear structure helps organize the content, leading the audience through the issue, the proposed policy recommendations, its potential impacts, and the rationale behind it. I find myself mentally mapping out the flow of the presentation, making sure each point logically connects to the next. I am assigned to present the policy options and the policy recommendations. These are important in the policy brief. Likewise, it will make or break our presentation. I hope I could deliver the needed information during our presentation tomorrow. The pressure to get this right is undeniable. But in the midst of it all, I remind myself that this is not just a task to check off a to-do list. It's an opportunity to communicate a meaningful message, to inspire understanding and even action. As I pour my thoughts onto the page, I can't help but feel a sense of purpose – a recognition that my words might contribute to positive change or deeper insights for those who will hear them tomorrow. And as I refine the FAQs and script, I'm reminded of the power of effective communication and the responsibility we hold to convey complex ideas with clarity and impact. Page 56 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 38 August 23, 2023 The triumphant moment of standing before Mayor Juan Manuel Lim and local functionaries of the Municipality of Corella to present our policy brief is etched in our memories. The journey that led us here, as #TeamCorella apprentices, has been an immersive learning experience, and this presentation was the pinnacle of our efforts. Our policy brief delved into the intricacies of local government operations of the municipality, scrutinizing Development Planning, Fiscal Management, Local Legislation, Community Mobilization, and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation. As apprentices, this endeavor was not merely an academic requirement but a realworld application of our skills and a demonstration of our commitment to effecting positive change. Mayor Lim's reception of our presentation was beyond gratifying. His satisfaction and acknowledgment that our recommendations closely aligned with his administration's vision validated our efforts. It underscored the significance of our role as apprentices and our potential to contribute meaningfully to the LGU’s development. This experience showcased the power of collaboration and the impact of comprehensive research and analysis. It reinforced the importance of clear and persuasive communication, as we articulated our policy options and recommendations. Witnessing the support and engagement of MLGOO Josie Montes and other municipal leaders during our presentation underscored the broader ripple effect of our work. And I am really proud of the work we’ve done here. As we reflect on this achievement, we are filled with a profound sense of accomplishment. We have learned that through dedication, perseverance, and a genuine desire to make a difference, even apprentices like us can influence policy Page 57 of 241

decisions. This successful presentation has energized us to continue our journey with renewed vigor, eager to embrace new challenges and contribute our skills to further meaningful transformations in the municipality. We ended our day by assisting in packaging the LLA entry of the Sangguniang Bayan of Corella. The meticulous effort put into organizing and presenting their achievements highlighted the legislative body’s dedication to effective governance. Being a part of this process allowed me to witness firsthand the commitment of our local leaders to serving the community. However, it is important to note that the dedication and support of the MLGOO are also crucial in this endeavor. For our part, it is inspiring to contribute to showcasing the hard work of the LGU and our MLGOO, and it reinforces my belief in the power of local initiatives to drive positive change. REFLECTION DAY 39 August 24, 2023 Today, we assisted in the drafting of the narrative for the packaging of the Local Legislative Award 2023, it made me think that this task is not just about words on paper; it was about encapsulating the journey, the dedication, and the collective spirit of the Sangguniang Bayan members in a way that would resonate deeply. Writing this narrative was not merely a task; it felt like capturing a chapter of a story that was unfolding right before my eyes. As I delved into the accomplishments and efforts of the Sanggunian, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of respect and admiration for these individuals who dedicated their time and energy to the service of their community. What struck me most was the unmistakable unity that surrounded this endeavor. From the onset, it was evident that the members of the Sangguniang Bayan were not simply participating in the award system to secure another accolade for the municipality. No, this was different. This was about gauging their own growth, assessing their achievements, and refining their legislative strategies for the betterment of the community they served. During today’s process and activity, we have felt the support of the Sanggunian. Their willingness to engage in this evaluation process showcased a profound commitment to their roles beyond the surface. It was about acknowledging their strengths and identifying areas that held room for improvement. This narrative was shaping up to be a mirror reflecting the very essence of their journey. It was a testament to their synergy, their growth, and their willingness to be accountable to the community they served. As I added the final touches to the narrative, I couldn't help but feel a sense of fulfillment. It was more than just a task completed; it was a story shared. It was Page 58 of 241

a tribute to the individuals who shaped their municipality's legislative landscape, who worked not just for an award, but for the continuous improvement of their service to their constituents. And in that moment, I felt privileged to have been part of narrating this chapter of their remarkable journey. I also want to highlight the support of the SB Secretary and the staff. They are crucial in the process as they exemplify their shared determination to rise above difficulties and their readiness to provide assistance to the legislative body. Lastly, the support of the MLGOO for the SB’s participation in the LLA is a driving force that propels the sanggunian towards higher standards of governance. Ma’am Josie’s assistance and support speak of the shared commitment to fulfilling their roles with dedication, integrity, and a sincere desire to contribute meaningfully to the progress of our municipality. REFLECTION DAY 40 August 25, 2023 Today, we continued the provision of assistance to the packaging of the entry of Sangguniang Bayan of Corella to the 2023 Local Legislative Award (LLA). I was assigned to write the executive summary and narratives for the five innovations of the Sanggunian. As I reflect on crafting the five initiatives of the Sangguniang Bayan to be featured in LLA, I am reminded of the immense responsibility that comes with capturing their dedication and impact. It's more than just words on paper; it's about conveying their commitment to their constituents' well-being and the positive changes they've brought about. I actually missed writing impactful stories. As I sat down to reflect on the process of crafting the initiatives of the Sanggunian, I realized that it's about capturing the heart and soul of their dedication, innovation, and impact. What came to my mind also was the realization that personnel of LGUs should also be taught about writing stories and other matters on documentation. I believe this is important in government service. Writing the executive summary for the entire entry was both exhilarating and challenging. How do you condense months or even years of hard work into just a few sentences? Each word became a vessel, carrying the weight of their endeavors, their resilience, and their unwavering pursuit of progress. It's not just about showcasing their achievements; it's about making sure the essence of their efforts shines through. Page 59 of 241

Our assistance to the Sanggunian was not left unnoticed. It was commended not only by our supervisor but also by members of the Sanggunian and their staff. We just did what we were asked to do and it’s like preparing a gift, hoping that it will be received with the same enthusiasm and dedication that went into creating it. I'm humbled by the opportunity to be a part of this process. Writing about these initiatives is more than a task; it's a chance to amplify the voices of those who are dedicated to making their community better. It's a reminder that every word matter, and every detail count. It's a privilege to contribute to a narrative of progress, unity, and the tireless pursuit of a better tomorrow. Lastly, we witnessed the opening of the Araw ng Corella. The bazaar brought a novel experience for us, given the usual serenity that characterizes this town. Despite the bustling activities on this busy Friday, we relished the day's festivities. REFLECTION DAY 41 August 26, 2023 Spending Saturday taking a much-needed rest due to dysmenorrhea allowed me to reflect on the importance of self-care. Sometimes, our bodies demand a break, forcing us to slow down and pay attention to our well-being. As I lay there, I realized how crucial it is to listen to our bodies and provide them with the care they deserve. Throughout the day, I found solace in simple activities that brought comfort – sipping coffee, watching a movie, and indulging in soothing music. This forced pause reminded me that it's okay to step away from the hustle and bustle of life and prioritize my health. It's a reminder that self-worth isn't tied to productivity, and taking care of oneself is a priority. As the day progressed, my quiet time unexpectedly turned into a heartwarming surprise. My mother and sister's visit filled the room with joy and laughter. Their unexpected presence transformed my restful day into a moment of connection and love. It was a beautiful reminder of the importance of family bonds and how their support can lift our spirits even on the most challenging days. Page 60 of 241

This Saturday left me with a profound sense of gratitude – for the body that signals when it needs care, for the solitude that fosters reflection, and for the loved ones whose presence can turn any day into a brighter one. It reinforced the lesson that even in moments of discomfort, there is beauty in the simplicity of rest and the power of unexpected moments of togetherness. REFLECTION DAY 42 August 27, 2023 Spending a Sunday with my mommy and sister, who visited me here in Corella, has always been a cherished experience, and this weekend was no exception. We decided to make the most of the day by using the pass slip I had, which turned out to be a fantastic idea. Good thing, my pass slip was approved by my supervisor even with short notice. We embarked in a mini-adventure that took us to a nearby tarsier sanctuary and the Sikatuna’s Mirror of the World. The park was alive with families engaging in various activities - kids playing on the swings, couples taking leisurely walks, and friends having picnics. We likewise attended a Mass. As the mass came to a close, my spirits were uplifted, and the anticipation of the upcoming evening at the food bazaar added an extra spring to my step. The hours in between were spent in quiet contemplation and preparation, a chance to reflect on the teachings of the service and its relevance to my life. This past Sunday was particularly enriching as I not only had the opportunity to hear the mass but also stumbled upon a delightful surprise – a bustling food bazaar that added an unexpected flavor to my day. Heading back home, heart and stomach full, I felt a deep sense of contentment. The day had been a beautiful balance of the sacred and the earthly, a reminder that life's experiences – whether they're spiritual or gastronomic – are meant to be embraced and savored. In the evening, I had to allot some of my time to update and edit my individual and our team's weekly accomplishment reports that are due tomorrow. The reports have been refined, and I know that they will now communicate the dedication, teamwork, and accomplishments they represent. As I close my laptop, Page 61 of 241

I can't help but smile, knowing that even on a Sunday spent editing reports, there's a deeper satisfaction that comes from contributing to the collective success of the team. Good thing, we have our online tracker so it would not be a difficult task to do this weekly reporting. As I lay in bed, the events of the day replay in my mind like scenes from a heartwarming movie. The joy of spending Sunday with my mommy and sister, using the pass slip to explore and connect, reminds me of the importance of such moments in our lives. It's not about the destination; it's about the journey we undertake together, nurturing the bonds that truly matter. REFLECTION DAY 43 August 28, 2023 Today is National Heroes' Day and it is a time for us to reflect on and honor the individuals who have made significant contributions to our nation's history, development, and identity. As I ponder this day in 2023, I am reminded of the remarkable men and women who have selflessly dedicated their lives to advancing the ideals that shape our country. On this day, we remember not only the iconic figures from the past but also those unsung heroes who might not be as widely known but have made invaluable contributions to our society. These heroes come from diverse fields—scientists, artists, activists, and more— each leaving a lasting legacy that has helped shape the fabric of our nation. As I reflect, I find myself contemplating the traits that define a national hero. It's not just about their accomplishments, but also about their values, courage, and commitment to a better future. These heroes often display qualities such as resilience, perseverance, and a willingness to challenge the status quo for the greater good. In the end, National Heroes' Day is not just about commemorating historical figures—it's a call to action. It's a reminder that heroism isn't limited to the extraordinary; it can be found in everyday acts of kindness, in standing up for justice, and in working towards a more inclusive and equitable society. As we honor the heroes of our past, we also embrace the challenge of becoming heroes in our own right, contributing to the ongoing narrative of our nation's journey. But, for today, I spent my holiday in a state of rest due to a persistent headache and it was not at all how I envisioned my day. As the days leading up to my time Page 62 of 241

off filled me with anticipation, I pictured exciting adventures, working on the script for the Local Legislative Award entry, and others. However, life had other plans, and I found myself resting and battling the throbbing pain in my head. The irony of having uninterrupted time off while being unable to fully enjoy it was not lost on me. The sun's rays filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the room, yet I lay there, cocooned in darkness to ease the intensity of my headache. The thought of missed opportunities for exploration and laughter tugged at my heart. I would have wanted to use my pass slip and be with my mother and sister who were affected by the influx of people at the terminal. But, I was told by my mom to just sleep and rest. So, I just did. Thankfully, I feel better now. REFLECTION DAY 44 August 29, 2023 As I reflect on today’s activity, the weight of accomplishment and satisfaction settles in. Completing the audiovisual presentation (AVP) script for the Sangguniang Bayan of Corella's 2023 local legislative award entry has been a journey filled with reflection, creativity, and dedication. As the final words are penned, I can't help but marvel at how this piece has transformed from a mere set of ideas into a powerful narrative that hopefully encapsulates the spirit of innovation, dedication, and community service. Crafting the script was more than just stringing together words; it was about distilling the Sanggunian's remarkable achievements and innovations into a concise yet impactful story. Each sentence carried the weight of their commitment to governance, their resilience during crises, and their efforts to empower their constituents. In every line, I endeavored to capture not just facts, but the essence of their journey – a journey of progress, unity, and selfless service. But words alone could not bring this story to life. Recording the voice clips for the AVP was a process of infusing each word with emotion and sincerity. Hearing the words spoken aloud added a human touch, bridging the gap between the script and the hearts of those who would eventually watch and listen. The moments spent recording those clips were a meditation on the stories behind each achievement, a deep connection with the Sanggunian's dedication, and a humbling reminder of the impact of their work on their community. Page 63 of 241

This journey, though fulfilling, wasn't without its challenges. Ensuring that every detail was accurate, every nuance captured, and every sentiment conveyed required meticulous attention. Each revision was a step toward perfection, a labor of love for the Sanggunian and their commitment to excellence. The late nights and countless edits were a testament to the respect and admiration I hold for their efforts. As I press pause and reflect on this journey, I am overwhelmed by a sense of accomplishment. It's more than just completing a script and recording voice clips – it's about playing a small part in sharing their story with the world. It's about recognizing the dedication of public servants, the power of innovation, and the impact of collective effort. It's a reminder that even through the challenges, the process is just as valuable as the end result. The Sangguniang Bayan of Corella's story is now encapsulated in the AVP, a testament to their resilience and commitment. As the final product takes shape, I find solace in knowing that this AVP will not only be a part of an award entry but a tribute to their unwavering dedication to improving the lives of their community. With each word and voice clip, their story echoes, inspiring us all to strive for excellence, unity, and positive change. Hopefully, we can finish the whole aspect of the AVP tomorrow. REFLECTION DAY 45 August 30, 2023 Today, I had the privilege of contributing to the finalization of the audiovisual presentation for the LLA entry of the Sangguniang Bayan of Corella. Collaborating on this project not only showcased the town's accomplishments but also highlighted the dedication of its leaders and citizens. Crafting the audiovisual presentation was a multifaceted endeavor. It involved meticulous research to gather data on Corella's developmental initiatives, community projects, and legislative milestones. Distilling this information into a compelling narrative was a challenge that required balancing facts with a touch of emotional resonance. By emphasizing the positive impact of the Sangguniang Bayan's decisions on the lives of the residents, the presentation resonated deeply with the award's evaluators. Working alongside the passionate members of the sanggunian, I witnessed firsthand their commitment to their constituents. The camaraderie among the members was evident as we collaborated to compile images, videos, and testimonials that captured the essence of Corella's growth. This collaboration breathed life into the presentation, making it a vivid reflection of the town's journey. Beyond the presentation, we had the honor of assisting in the mock validation and interview process for the Sangguniang Bayan members. Page 64 of 241

This step was crucial in preparing them for potential questions from the evaluators. Through role-playing and constructive feedback sessions, I witnessed the members' determination to effectively communicate their roles, decisions, and aspirations for Corella. The mock validation and interview process revealed the importance of not only having a deep understanding of policies and initiatives but also the ability to articulate them with clarity and conviction. The members' receptive attitudes toward feedback underscored their eagerness to continuously improve and serve the community better. In retrospect, this experience reinforced the significance of effective communication in local governance. By collaborating on the audiovisual presentation and assisting in the mock validation and interview, the #TeamCorella apprentices played a small part in showcasing the sanggunian’s achievements to a wider audience. The process highlighted the town's progress while also fostering a sense of unity among its leaders. As I reflect on this endeavor, I am reminded that every community's success is a result of collective efforts. The Sangguniang Bayan of Corella exemplifies the power of collaboration, dedication, and visionary leadership. It was an honor to contribute to their journey of recognition and to witness firsthand the transformative impact of their work on the town and its people. REFLECTION DAY 46 August 31, 2023 As the month of August concludes today, I had the chance to edit my individual portfolio. As I revisited the narratives of my experiences, I was struck by how far I had come since the beginning of my supervised field work here in Corella. The narrative was a testament to the growth that had unfolded—growth not just in terms of experience, but also in terms of perspective. Page 65 of 241

In addition, as I revisited my SFW journey, I was reminded of the challenges I had overcome, the skills I had acquired, and the impact I had been a part of. The editing process demanded a keen eye for detail and a creative touch to ensure that my portfolio captured not just my accomplishments and insights but also the essence of my dedication and aspirations. Looking ahead, I am motivated to carry forward the lessons learned. These lessons will undoubtedly shape my future contributions, whether in the realm of local governance or any other endeavor I embark upon. On another note, we had the chance to further collaborate with the dedicated members of the Sangguniang Bayan team of Corella to prepare for the Local Legislative Award provincial evaluation tomorrow. What struck me most profoundly was the realization of the integral role played by the DILG. As the driving force behind this entry, the DILG stands as a cornerstone of support, guidance, and recognition for Corella. The MLGOO’s contribution was not just administrative—it was like the beacon that illuminated the path of progress for Corella. The DILG's commitment to fostering effective local governance and acknowledging outstanding achievements reverberated through every step of the preparation process. The guidance of MLGOO transformed the process into an opportunity for the LGU to reflect, refine, and elevate its governance practices. Likewise, the DILG's contribution mirrored the essence of collective collaboration. The MLGOO really embodied the spirit of partnership which guided Corella toward growth. I am certain that the provincial evaluation itself will be an opportunity for introspection. It allowed us to measure the progress of the Sanggunian against the goals they had set, encouraging them to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement. This experience reinforced the importance of effective communication, collaboration, and adaptability in navigating complex tasks. Moreover, it illuminated the value of recognizing and celebrating achievements, as this fuels the drive to keep striving for excellence. Anyway, in the end, this experience was not just about achieving recognition or accolades; it was about the journey of growth, the bonds formed with dedicated colleagues, and the impact created within the community. Page 66 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 47 September 1, 2023 Today’s series of activities showcased a vibrant and engaged community committed to local governance and development. Mayor Juan Manuel Lim, ViceMayor Danilo Bandala, and various officials led these events, demonstrating their dedication to their municipality. It started with a Mass and followed by the unveiling of the official municipal flag and singing of the new Corella Hymn symbolize the town's unity and pride, celebrating its 139th Adlaw sa Corella. Such traditions reflect a strong sense of identity and community spirit. For us the apprentices, highlighting our day was the visit of DILG Bohol Provincial Director Jerome Gonzales. It emphasizes the importance of mentorship and continuous learning in public service. PD Gonzales accessed our online Sub-Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC), an innovation of the apprentices that was also supported by our supervisor. Another activity today was the provincial evaluation and review of documents for the 2023 Local Legislative Award (LLA) of the Sangguniang Bayan of Corella. The Page 67 of 241

involvement of our supervisor, ma’am Josie, in facilitating the activity exemplifies the importance of DILG’s contribution and efforts in promoting good governance. Hopefully, the validators will see the sanggunian’s commitment to legislation that fosters local development, adding that their essential role in shaping meaningful local administration will be recognized. I also want to underscore the DILG's contributions to local government operations, which are essential for promoting good governance, enhancing local autonomy, and improving the overall quality of life for residents of the municipality. Its multifaceted role encompasses capacity building, policy implementation and more, all aimed at creating stronger and more effective local governments. Hopefully, local officials will also see the contributions of the Department. To end, today’s activities in Corella reflect a dynamic and progressive community that values tradition and actively participates in promoting transparent and accountable governance. They serve as an example of how local government can work collaboratively to improve the lives of residents. REFLECTION DAY 48 September 2, 2023 Spending Saturdays with loved ones is a treasure, and today was no exception. As one of my best friends visited me, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the weekly surprises from those dearest to me. Each visit, whether it was my husband, my mom, my sister, or now my bestie, has filled my heart with joy and warmth. These Saturdays are more than just simple gatherings; they are moments of connection and love. I cherish the laughter, the shared stories, and the feeling of being surrounded by people who truly care about me. It's a reminder of the importance of nurturing relationships and making time for the people who matter most. With my best friend today, we reminisced about our adventures, discussed our dreams, and simply enjoyed each other's company. It's incredible how these Saturdays have become a tradition, a source of comfort and happiness in my life. I'm reminded of the beauty of friendship and the support system that surrounds me. These moments make me realize how fortunate I am to have such wonderful people in my life. Today, as we said our goodbyes, I couldn't help but look forward Page 68 of 241

to the next Saturday surprise, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to create more cherished memories with those I love. These Saturday breaks are like a breath of fresh air after a long and hectic work week. They serve as a much-needed pause button in the hustle and bustle of daily life. During the workweek, it's easy to get caught up in deadlines, meetings, and responsibilities. Saturdays offer a precious respite from the daily grind, allowing me to recharge and rejuvenate. It's a time to step away from the demands of work and focus on self-care, relaxation, and doing things that bring me joy. Whether it's sleeping in a bit longer, enjoying a leisurely breakfast, or spending quality time with loved ones, Saturdays provide the freedom to do what truly makes me happy. They remind me that life is not just about work; it's about finding balance and making time for the things that matter beyond the office. REFLECTION DAY 49 September 3, 2023 The weekly routine of preparing individual and team accomplishment reports had become a staple in our Supervised Field Work. It was a meticulous process that demanded dedication and attention to detail, but it also served as a valuable tool for self-reflection and growth. As we compiled our achievements, it was not merely a matter of listing completed tasks; it was an opportunity to delve into our own progress, to understand where we excelled, and where we could improve. For me, this reflection process became a powerful mechanism for selfimprovement. I could pinpoint patterns in my work, identify areas where I consistently performed well, and recognize those that required more effort. It was a humbling experience, acknowledging that there was always room for growth. The reports served as a compass, guiding me towards setting realistic goals and continuously pushing myself to achieve them. Beyond personal growth, these reports also played a crucial role in fostering teamwork and collaboration. Each team member's accomplishments contributed to the collective success of the group. We celebrated not only our individual victories but also the synergy of our combined efforts. It strengthened our bonds, encouraged open communication, and promoted a culture of accountability. Amidst this commitment to our professional development, we were also privileged to participate in the 139th Adlaw sa Corella celebration. The foundation day of Corella was a momentous occasion, a celebration of Page 69 of 241

history and community. It was a day when the town came alive with vibrant vibes, lively music, and a deep sense of unity. Attending the celebration was more than just a social event. Our involvement in this celebration not only deepened our connection with the local community but also reinforced the importance of our work. To end, the weekly routine of preparing individual and team accomplishment reports was not just a professional obligation; it was a journey of self-discovery and growth. It reminded us that success is not static; it is an ongoing process of improvement. Attending the 139th Adlaw sa Corella celebration further highlighted the significance of our work and our role in the community's prosperity. Together, these experiences served as a testament to the power of reflection and the value of community engagement in our lives. REFLECTION DAY 50 September 4, 2023 As I reflect on the process of working on team outputs and submitting weekly individual and team reports, I am reminded of the importance of collaboration, communication, and accountability in achieving common goals. This experience has not only enhanced my understanding of teamwork but has also allowed me to develop valuable skills and insights that are applicable to various aspects of life. One of the most significant takeaways from this experience is the power of collaboration. Working as a team has taught me the significance of combining our unique strengths and abilities to create a more comprehensive and effective outcome. When everyone contributes their expertise and effort towards a common objective, it not only leads to better results but also fosters a sense of unity and camaraderie within the team. I have learned that effective teamwork involves active listening, respect for diverse perspectives, and a willingness to compromise for the greater good. Today, we had the chance to comply with our team outputs. We worked on the terminal report of our presentation of policy brief, which is part of the team outputs. It has highlighted the significance of clear communication. Regular updates, progress checks, and open dialogue with team members are essential for ensuring that everyone is on the same page. I've learned that asking questions, seeking clarification, and sharing insights are all essential elements of productive collaboration. Page 70 of 241

Additionally, complying with team outputs has taught me the importance of personal accountability. Each team member's contributions matter, and fulfilling one's responsibilities is vital for the success of the team as a whole. It's easy to rely on others or become complacent, but taking ownership of one's role and commitments is essential. Furthermore, the process of submitting weekly individual and team reports has highlighted the importance of communication and transparency. Regular updates and accomplishment reports ensure that members of the #TeamCorella apprentices are on the same page and aware of our progress. Effective communication within the team not only promotes efficiency but also helps in building trust and maintaining accountability. Speaking of accountability, this experience has reinforced the importance of taking ownership of my responsibilities and commitments. When working on team outputs, each team member relies on others to fulfill their tasks promptly. Meeting deadlines and delivering quality work is not only a matter of personal integrity but also essential for the success of the team. This realization has encouraged me to be more organized, manage my time efficiently, and stay committed to my obligations. To end, the experience of working on team outputs and submitting weekly individual and team reports has been a valuable journey of personal and professional growth. It has reinforced the importance of collaboration, communication, and accountability while providing opportunities to develop essential skills. As I move forward, I will carry these lessons with me, knowing that they will continue to benefit me in my future endeavors, whether in the workplace or in other aspects of life. Page 71 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 51 September 5, 2023 Completing the final packaging for the policy brief has been a culmination of a significant and challenging journey that has allowed me to delve into the intricacies of policy research, synthesis, and communication. This experience has not only broadened my understanding of the policy-making process but has also honed my research and presentation skills. First and foremost, this endeavor has reinforced the importance of thorough research and analysis in the policy-making arena. Crafting a policy brief that is both informative and persuasive necessitates an in-depth examination of the issue at hand. Organizing our attachments, especially when dealing with a substantial volume of content like 400 pages, can indeed be a daunting challenge. Our reference materials and appendices are too many that is why it reached this stage. It's crucial to approach this task systematically and efficiently to ensure that the documents are well-organized and easily navigable. Moreover, completing the packaging for the final policy brief has highlighted the significance of effective communication. Presenting complex policy issues in a clear, concise, and compelling manner is a formidable challenge. I have come to appreciate the art of distilling intricate ideas into digestible, actionable insights that resonate with policymakers and stakeholders. This skill is not only valuable in the realm of policy but is also transferable to various professional contexts. We will focus on the finalization of our terminal report about the presentation of the policy brief in the coming days so we can close this team output to this phase. When our SFW coordinator asked the apprentices about the updates to our work plan, I really felt proud to be the first to present the policy brief and implement the learning event. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that taught me the importance of preparation, adaptability, and leadership by example. I feel proud for #TeamCorella apprentices. Further, it allowed me to develop valuable skills and provided a sense of accomplishment in setting the pace for the team outputs. We will focus on the packaging of our team outputs for the rest of the SFW and also assist our supervisor in the activities. In addition, this experience has reinforced the idea that policy work is a collaborative effort. Collaborating with team members, local functionaries, supervisors and others has enriched my perspective and strengthened the quality of the policy brief. Working in a team allowed for a diversity of insights and ideas, Page 72 of 241

fostering a more holistic approach to problem-solving. It has been a reminder that collective knowledge and effort often lead to more comprehensive and effective outcomes. My experience today has deepened my appreciation for the complexities of policy work and the importance of evidence-based recommendations. This journey has not only equipped me with valuable experience and insights for future policy endeavors but has also instilled in me a sense of purpose in contributing to informed and impactful decision-making processes. REFLECTION DAY 52 September 6, 2023 I enjoyed our day at the office today despite not feeling well. We started our terminal report for our policy brief, I must say a demanding task. This situation is a testament to the commitment, responsibility, and dedication that people in policy research often exhibit. Starting a terminal report while not feeling well is a challenge that many can relate to, regardless of their profession. It demands a delicate balance between self-care and professional obligations. It's a reflection of the determination to fulfill one's responsibilities despite physical or emotional discomfort. In such situations, it is crucial to acknowledge the need for self-compassion and, when possible, make necessary adjustments to accommodate one's well-being. I am just glad that my colleagues accepted my slow-paced work today knowing my health concerns. To navigate this situation effectively, it's necessary to prioritize tasks and manage energy efficiently. Starting with the most critical elements of the report and working methodically can help conserve energy and maintain focus. Taking short breaks for rest and hydration is vital to prevent burnout. Furthermore, seeking support from colleagues or supervisors, when appropriate, can help distribute the workload or provide guidance. This task when done under the weather underscores the resilience and dedication of professionals in this field. It reminds me of the value of our work and the impact it can have on society. However, it is equally important to acknowledge our limitations, seek support when needed, and advocate for workplace practices that prioritize well-being, ensuring that we can continue to produce quality research and contribute meaningfully to policy development. We still have a lot of things to do for this packaging but I am confident that with collaboration and cooperation among #TeamCorella apprentices, we will finish this as soon as possible. We have to work on the processing of the pre- and postevaluation tests for them to be analyzed and included in the terminal report. Page 73 of 241

Ultimately, this deliverable fulfills a necessary component of our learning management activities. It's gratifying to realize that we've successfully completed one of the three team outputs required during our supervised field work. I'm enthusiastic about finishing all our tasks and ultimately concluding our supervised fieldwork on a strong note, just like our peers. REFLECTION DAY 53 September 7, 2023 Having more time to complete our team outputs has been an enlightening experience that has allowed me to reflect on the value of time management, collaboration, and the quality of our work. In this reflection, I want to share how our extra time has impacted our team and the outcomes we have achieved. First and foremost, my self-imposed extra and more time provided us with a sense of relief and reduced stress. Often, tight deadlines can lead to rushed decisions and compromised quality. With the luxury of extra time, we have been able to approach our tasks with greater thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Moreover, the extra time has fostered better collaboration within our team. When we are not racing against the clock, we have more opportunities for brainstorming, discussion, and feedback. This has encouraged open communication and a sense of camaraderie among #TeamCorella apprentices. We have been able to leverage each other's strengths and perspectives more effectively. One thing that challenges me and the team right now is to maximize our time to finish all the team outputs ahead of time so we have more time to do our individual output. Truly, it requires discipline to stay on track. To maximize the benefits of the extra time, we must maintain a balance between using it wisely and avoiding unnecessary delays. This made me realize that having more time to complete our team outputs has been a positive experience. It has enabled us to produce higher-quality work, enhance collaboration, and conduct more thorough research. However, it also requires discipline to avoid procrastination. As we move forward, we should continue to find ways to optimize our time management and ensure that we make the most of the opportunities that additional time affords us. Page 74 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 54 September 8, 2023 The celebration of Mama Mary's birthday today holds a special place in the hearts of many Catholics and Christians around the world. It's a day when we come together to commemorate the birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who played a crucial role in the story of Christianity. Reflecting on Mama Mary's birthday is a time to appreciate her virtues and significance in our faith. Her life of humility, obedience, and unwavering faith serves as an inspiring example for all believers. She accepted her divine calling with grace and became the mother of Jesus, our Savior. On top of that, we, the #TeamCorella apprentices joined the series of activities organized by the Corella Municipal Health Office to commemorate Obesity Prevention Awareness Week today. This initiative underscored the importance of tackling the growing epidemic of obesity and promoting a healthier lifestyle within our community. Part of the activity were the Zumba session that brought national and local government employees of all ages and fitness levels together. It was not only a fun and energetic way to end the day but also a powerful reminder that exercise can be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. The lively music and supportive atmosphere made it easy to forget that we were exercising. What struck me the most about this event was the sense of community and shared purpose it fostered. We were all there for a common cause - to raise awareness about obesity and its prevention. It was heartwarming to see public servants, friends, and even strangers come together to support one another on their wellness journeys. Today’s activities made me realize to always make healthy lifestyle choices. This event not only improved my understanding of the importance of a healthy lifestyle but also strengthened my sense of community and commitment to promoting wellness within the community. I look forward to future initiatives like this one and hope that they continue to inspire positive change in the community. Page 75 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 55 September 9, 2023 Self-care is a crucial aspect of maintaining one's physical and mental well-being. In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to neglect ourselves amidst the chaos of work and daily responsibilities. Recently, I had the opportunity to truly indulge in selfcare, which included going home to visit my family, watching movies, and treating myself to a much-needed massage. Going home after a long absence was a heartwarming experience. The familiar sights, sounds, and smells instantly put me at ease. Reconnecting with family provided a sense of belonging and support that I had been missing. We spent quality time together, sharing stories, laughter, and meals. It reminded me of the importance of nurturing familial bonds, which often get overshadowed by our busy lives. Watching movies has always been a beloved pastime, but it was only during this self-care period that I truly appreciated its therapeutic benefits. I carefully selected a mix of old favorites and new releases. As I immersed myself in captivating plots and characters, I found an escape from daily stressors. It was a reminder that indulging in simple pleasures can be a form of self-care that rejuvenates the mind and spirit. The highlight of my self-care journey was undoubtedly the massage. Tension had been building up in my body for months, and it was beginning to take a toll on my overall well-being. The skilled therapist's expert touch melted away the knots and stress, leaving me feeling lighter and more relaxed than I had in ages. It was a powerful reminder of the significance of physical self-care, how it can release pentup stress and contribute to a more balanced life. In retrospect, this period of self-care was transformative. It reinforced the importance of taking time for oneself in our busy lives. The experience of going home and connecting with family reminded me of the support network that is always there, even when we get caught up in our own world. Watching movies provided a simple yet effective escape, and the massage was a literal and figurative weight lifted off my shoulders. Self-care isn't a luxury; it's a necessity for our physical and mental well-being. This reflection on my self-care journey serves as a reminder that taking time for ourselves, nurturing relationships, enjoying simple pleasures, and addressing physical needs are essential components of a balanced and healthy life. It's something I plan to incorporate more regularly into my routine, as I've seen firsthand the positive impact it can have on my overall happiness and well-being. Page 76 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 56 September 10, 2023 While going back to my LGU of assignment today, I read the book entitled “The Miracle of the Ordinary", a book written by Fr. Roseller Atilnao Jr. It is a book that has left a lasting impact on my perspective on faith, prayer, and the beauty of everyday life. What struck me most profoundly were the words that resonated from its pages: "God knows our deepest prayers even before we tell him, but when you articulate your desire, then it becomes easier for you to recognize God's answer to your prayers. And when you realize that your prayer has been granted, then your happiness becomes more concrete, and gratitude comes more easily." These lines have illuminated the power of articulation in our relationship with the divine. It's a reminder that prayer is not merely a one-sided conversation, but a dialogue with the divine. It encourages us to be specific, to open our hearts, and to voice our desires, no matter how ordinary or extravagant they may seem. The idea of imagining oneself in a conversation with Jesus, where He asks, "Tell me, what you really, really want," is a profoundly beautiful image. It removes the barriers of formality and invites us to be completely authentic in our communication with Him. It suggests that God is not distant and judgmental but intimately interested in our desires and dreams. This notion of specificity in prayer has had a transformative effect on my spiritual life. It has encouraged me to be more open and honest in my conversations with God. I've learned that when I articulate my desires, hopes, and fears, it not only strengthens my connection with the divine but also allows me to see the answers to my prayers more clearly. Moreover, it has heightened my awareness of the everyday miracles that surround us. I've come to appreciate the ordinary moments in life as potential conduits for divine grace. Incorporating this perspective into my daily life has fostered a sense of gratitude that comes more naturally. I find myself more attuned to the subtle ways in which my prayers are answered, and my happiness has indeed become more concrete. It's as if a veil has been lifted, allowing me to perceive the divine presence in the mundane and the extraordinary alike. This book has taught me the profound significance of specific, heartfelt prayer and the joy that stems from recognizing God's responses in the everyday moments of life. It encourages us to embrace the simple, authentic desires of our hearts and to trust in the beauty of the divine dialogue. Also, I had the time to update my weekly individual and team accomplishment reports today. Page 77 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 57 September 11, 2023 We started our day with the submission of individual and team weekly accomplishment reports. These reports, for me, serve as a window into the progress made and the overall performance of both individuals and the #TeamCorella apprentices as a whole. On an individual level, submitting weekly accomplishment reports encourages a sense of responsibility and self-reflection. It prompts team members to evaluate our contributions, recognize our strengths, and possibly identify areas where improvement is needed. This self-assessment is crucial for personal growth and development. It helps team members set goals, track their progress, and make adjustments as necessary. Our supervisor also tapped us, #TeamCorella apprentices, in the final packaging of Corella’s Comprehensive Development Plan. This, for me, demonstrates the team's commitment to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth. It also highlights the team's dedication to the project's success, as apprentices are entrusted with important responsibilities. This hands-on experience not only benefits the apprentices but also brings fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the project. Page 78 of 241

We ended the day with the surprise supervisory visit by RD Leo Trovela to evaluate the performance of LGOO apprentices assigned here in Corella. Highlighting the visit was his commendation of the LGOO apprentices for our innovations, including the online Sub-Local Governance Resource Center and the establishment of DILG Corella Facebook page. On top of that, he expressed appreciation for the welldesigned Locator’s Chart, Organizational Chart, among others. RD Trovela's commendation to the #TeamCorella apprentices for our innovative projects is a moment of pride for us, especially to our supervisor who has supported all our initiatives. It underscores the importance of nurturing talent, embracing technology, and fostering a culture of innovation within the Department. This commendation not only recognizes past achievements but also sets the stage for even more significant contributions in the future, ultimately benefiting the community and advancing the Department’s vision. REFLECTION DAY 58 September 12, 2023 Today, we had the chance to accomplish tasks for our team outputs. We processed the pre- and post-evaluation results answered by the participants during the presentation of our policy brief and we also finalized the terminal report during the same activity. These are critical aspect of any decision-making process of the LGU. The process of processing these evaluations can be challenging, especially on how we see constructive criticisms. For us, #TeamCorella apprentices, we are glad that the evaluation results indicate that the majority of the participants "strongly agree" that four out of the six objectives of the activity were successfully achieved, while most “agree” for the remaining two objectives. Meanwhile, the majority of participants have improved their level of knowledge in all four topics discussed during the activity, progressing from "average" to "high", as indicated in the evaluation. Moreover, several participants have exhibited significant improvement, reaching "very high" levels. As to the terminal report during the presentation of our policy brief, it's vital to summarize pre- and post-evaluation findings concisely as it will be incorporated in the terminal report. The report should highlight strengths and acknowledge weaknesses in the presentation. Providing a clear action plan to address these weaknesses is essential, demonstrating a commitment to improvement. We will continue polishing the terminal report tomorrow and hopefully finish the packaging of our MLE within the week. Effective communication is paramount in today’s activities. It involves conveying the right information that transpired during the presentation of our policy brief. Page 79 of 241

We also had the chance to attend the meeting attended by all employees of the Municipality of Corella wherein the upcoming Family Day-related activities were discussed. One of the highlights was the holding of a symposium on September 28 with topics on peace and order and Gender and Development. These topics are highly relevant and have a direct impact on the well-being of employees. The family day celebration for the municipality promotes unity, engagement, and a sense of community among participants. It reflects a genuine commitment to celebrating family values and fostering stronger bonds among colleagues and families in the municipality. REFLECTION DAY 59 September 13, 2023 We focused our energy on polishing our terminal report for the presentation of our policy brief today. This process, however, demands meticulous attention to detail. It's about refining the document, ensuring that it is well-structured, coherent, and effectively conveys the message. This entails reviewing the report for clarity, grammar, and punctuation, as well as ensuring that it follows any established formatting guidelines. It's essential to eliminate any ambiguities, inconsistencies, or errors that may detract from the report's professionalism and impact. We send the polished document to our supervisor for comments and/or approval. Pending her comments/approval, we packaged the terminal report with its attachments. Each attachment should be selected thoughtfully to supplement and enhance the report's content. These attachments/annexes included the attendance sheets, photos during the activity, powerpoint presentations, and proceedings, among others. Our goal is to make the report comprehensive and user-friendly for the readers, providing them with easy access to additional information if needed. Additionally, I edited the previously posted articles on the former account of DILG Corella and transferred it to the official DILG Corella Facebook page. I have edited at least 20 stories and assisted the posting online. As we all know, social media is a powerful tool for communication, and the content posted reflects the department’s image and values. Editing and re-writing stories is about maintaining consistency, accuracy, and relevance. It involves ensuring that the content is engaging, concise, and free from errors. This process involves a delicate balance between preserving the essence of the stories and tailoring them to suit the present context. It's about making past stories feel timely and relatable, thus maintaining the continuity of the department’s narrative. Page 80 of 241

As someone entrusted with these responsibilities, it's crucial to approach them with a commitment to excellence. Attention to detail and a deep understanding of the department’s goals are essential attributes. Effective communication skills are also vital in conveying the essence of the policy brief and stories to the intended audience. Furthermore, it's essential to recognize the broader impact of these tasks. A wellpolished terminal report can be a valuable resource for policymakers and stakeholders, potentially leading to informed decisions and positive change. Likewise, well-crafted social media stories can engage the community, promote transparency, and build trust in the department. To end, polishing a terminal report, packaging it with attachments, and editing social media articles are tasks that demand dedication and a keen sense of responsibility. These efforts play a crucial role in the department’s advocacy and communication strategies, impacting how it is perceived by its audience and stakeholders. REFLECTION DAY 60 September 14, 2023 It’s field day today! We accompanied our supervisor during the barangay visitations in two barangays today - Barangay Poblacion and Anislag. For Barangay Poblacion, we attended the barangay session. It allowed me to witness the heart of local governance. The barangay visitation in Barangay Poblacion served as an eye-opener to the challenges and triumphs faced by a local community. As we entered the session hall, we were welcomed by a sense of unity among the barangay officials. The openness and warmth of the people were evident, creating a conducive atmosphere for collaboration. During the session, we had the opportunity to interact with barangay officials. We introduced ourselves and offered technical assistance where needed. For Barangay Anislag, we assisted the barangay in the planning and workshop of its Barangay Development Planning. We witnessed the tangible impact of grassroots initiatives. The planning process was inclusive, involving active Page 81 of 241

participation from community members, purok leaders, and CSO representatives. I was struck by the genuine desire of the community members to improve their living conditions. My role as a facilitator was to guide discussions. It was heartening to witness the enthusiasm and creativity of the community members as they shared their visions for a better Barangay Anislag. Their dedication to education, healthcare, infrastructure programs, and environmental conservation was inspiring. Throughout this experience, I learned the importance of grassroots democracy and the power of community involvement. The barangay session in Poblacion showcased the essence of local governance, emphasizing the significance of responsive and accountable leadership. Meanwhile, the development planning process in Anislag underscored the potential for positive change when communities come together to shape their future. Moreover, this experience reaffirmed the vital role of technical assistance and facilitation of the Department in the barangays. Providing guidance and resources to local leaders can help them make informed decisions and execute projects effectively. It also highlights the need for continued support and capacity-building initiatives at the barangay level. To end, the barangay visitation in Barangay Poblacion and facilitation during the Barangay Development Planning in Barangay Anislag were enriching experiences that deepened my appreciation for grassroots governance and community-driven development. It was a privilege to witness the resilience, dedication, and unity of the residents and local leaders. These experiences serve as a reminder of the transformative potential within every community, and the importance of fostering collaboration and empowerment at the grassroots level to create positive and lasting change. REFLECTION DAY 61 September 15, 2023 I am so happy today as another initiative of the #TeamCorella apprentices was released. I wrote the concept note for the "Kahibaw ba mo?" series, Bisaya words which mean “Did you know?” a series that will consist of a collection of 30-second videos to one-minute videos that aim to share valuable information and trivia about the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Municipality of Corella. Page 82 of 241

It is an engaging and informative initiative by the Corella Sub-Local Governance Resource Center. The name itself, "Kahibaw ba mo?", has an inviting and inquisitive tone that is likely to capture the attention of the audience. This series has the potential to be a powerful tool for education and awareness, making complex information accessible to a wider audience through bite-sized content. The utilization of short videos aligns with the current trends in online engagement, catering to the short attention spans of viewers while delivering valuable insights. On top of that, attending the joint meeting of the Sangguniang Kabataan and Local Youth Development Council is for me a demonstration of a strong commitment to community engagement and youth empowerment. The discussion regarding the cleanup drive in the community reflects a proactive approach towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment. This initiative not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the locality but also promotes a sense of responsibility among the youth towards their community. Additionally, I feel so proud of my colleague who discussed the DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-047, highlighting the importance of transparency and accountability in governance, on behalf of our supervisor. It underscores the commitment of the local government to uphold ethical standards and proper management of resources. To end, the efforts in conceptualizing the "Kahibaw ba mo?" series and our active involvement in community matters, such as the joint meeting, reflect a genuine concern for the welfare and development of Corella. These initiatives have the potential to enhance public awareness, promote civic engagement, and contribute to the overall progress of the municipality. Our dedication as apprentices to these endeavors holds great promise for the betterment of the community that we serve. REFLECTION DAY 62 September 16, 2023 It’s Saturday and it’s self-care day! For me, it is a vital aspect of maintaining overall well-being, and there are moments in life when it becomes especially crucial. I found myself feeling under the weather after just recovering from a bout of cough and colds. It was a stark reminder of the importance of self-care in one's life. During those days, I recognized that sometimes the simplest acts of self-care can make a significant difference. The first step was acknowledging that I needed to take it easy, allowing myself the space to rest and heal. Watching Netflix movies became a soothing escape from the discomfort I was experiencing. It was a reminder that taking a break to unwind can be therapeutic. Page 83 of 241

Also, I had to manage my upset tummy throughout the day, and it was a reminder that self-care also means addressing physical ailments promptly. Sipping on medication, I reflected on how caring for my physical health is an act of self-love. Self-care also involved staying hydrated, getting ample sleep, and nourishing my body with the yummy food. This experience emphasized that self-care is an ongoing practice, not just a response to sickness but a way of life to prevent it. In those moments of discomfort, I realized that self-care is not selfish but necessary for a healthy and balanced life. It encompasses both physical and mental well-being, reminding us to listen to our bodies and prioritize our health. Watching Netflix movies and taking medication were small acts, but they contributed to my healing and reinforced the importance of self-care in my life. REFLECTION DAY 63 September 17, 2023 Today, I attended the Unity Walk and Covenant Signing event at Our Lady of the Village Parish Church. Witnessing the candidates for both barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan posts come together to commit to orderly and safe elections left a lasting impression on my sense of civic responsibility. The event was a testament to the candidates' willingness to rise above political rivalries and prioritize the greater good of Corella. In a world often divided by partisanship, this display of unity was a breath of fresh air. It reminded me that, at its core, public service should be about serving the people and their interests, regardless of political affiliation. The covenant signing was a significant moment during the event. Seeing all the candidates put their signatures on the same document was symbolic. It signified their collective promise to uphold ethical conduct, transparency, and the welfare of Corellahanon. It was a moment that transcended politics and highlighted their commitment to responsible governance. Page 84 of 241

Taking the Integrity Pledge was equally inspiring. This commitment to lead with integrity, honesty, and accountability demonstrated the candidates' understanding of the trust bestowed upon them by the people. It was a reminder that these elections were not just about winning a seat; they were about becoming leaders who would set an example for future generations. As I reflect on this event, it rekindles my hope in the democratic process. It reminds me that change is possible when individuals with diverse backgrounds and ideologies come together for a common purpose. It also underscores the importance of active citizenship and holding our leaders accountable. In a time when political divisiveness often dominates the headlines, witnessing the Unity Walk and Covenant Signing filled me with optimism for Corella's future. It serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us all that, regardless of the challenges we face, unity, integrity, and accountable leadership can light the way towards a brighter and more prosperous community. REFLECTION DAY 64 September 18, 2023 Submitting weekly reports has become a routine part of my work, and it's interesting to see how this simple task has evolved over time. Initially, it felt like just another administrative duty, but as weeks passed, I began to appreciate its significance. These reports not only document our progress but also serve as a valuable tool for self-assessment and team coordination. They help me track my own accomplishments and set new goals. Additionally, team reports allow us to synchronize our efforts, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working toward our shared objectives. Today, we also crafted the script for the "Kahibaw Ba Mo" series. It has been a creative journey filled with both excitement and challenges. We launched our first episode! We are so glad that our supervisor is very supportive of our initiatives. The series also provides a platform to address important issues and engage with our viewers on a deeper level, making it a truly fulfilling endeavor. On top of that, as we near the completion of our MLE documents, finalizing the terminal report has been a reflective and comprehensive process. It's a culmination of all the hard work, challenges, and achievements we've experienced throughout the project. This report not only serves as a documentation of our efforts but also as a tool for learning and improvement. It's an opportunity to assess the impact of our work, identify areas for growth, and share our findings with key officials of the Department. Crafting this report has given me a deeper appreciation for the importance of thorough evaluation and the role it plays in shaping future projects. It's a reminder that every endeavor, no matter how big or small, contributes to our collective knowledge and growth. Page 85 of 241

They have reinforced the importance of regular communication, creativity, teamwork, and evaluation in achieving our goals and making a meaningful impact. Each of these endeavors has its unique challenges and rewards, contributing to a wellrounded and fulfilling journey. The process of refining the terminal report has been a testament to our commitment to delivering quality work. It's not just about meeting deadlines and ticking off tasks; it's about ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted to convey the essence of our efforts and the significance of the learning event. This report is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion we poured into the project. It's a reflection of our growth as professionals in the field of local governance. Also, we are asked by our supervisor to assist her in the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for the Municipality of Corella. It has been both a challenge and an opportunity to test our mettle as aspiring local government professionals. As we delved into the CDP for Corella, we realized the immense responsibility that lay ahead. Crafting a roadmap for a municipality's future development is no small feat. It involves understanding the needs and aspirations of the community, analyzing data, and synthesizing all of this into a coherent plan. It's a complex puzzle where every piece is vital, and each decision carries profound implications for the municipality and its residents. Our reflections on this journey go beyond the technical aspects of planning and report writing. We've learned the value of collaboration and teamwork. In the world of local governance, no one can achieve meaningful progress in isolation. reflections on this journey serve as a reminder of the responsibility we carry and the immense potential we have to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve. REFLECTION DAY 66 September 20, 2023 The second day of packaging the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for the Municipality of Corella marked a significant step forward in our journey as Local Government Operations Officer (LGOO) apprentices. This day was all about diving deeper into the intricacies of the CDP process, focusing on the development of the expanded problem solution finding matrix for every sector. The expanded PSFM was a daunting task, but it was also an eye-opener. As we delved into each sector, we encountered a myriad of challenges and issues that the municipality faces. These issues ranged from basic infrastructure deficiencies to more complex economic concerns. It was both humbling and concerning to see the extent of the problems faced by the community. However, this experience reinforced our determination to make a meaningful impact through the CDP. Working on the matrix also highlighted the importance of thorough research and data analysis. We had to gather and review a wealth of information to identify the root causes of each problem and propose realistic solutions. In addition to our work on the CDP, we had the privilege of continuing new program, the "Kahibaw ba mo?" series, initiated by the DILG Corella Sub-Local Governance Resource Center. This engaging series, provided us with a unique opportunity to connect with the local community and share valuable information about the Department and the Municipality of Corella. Through short 30-second to one-minute videos, we aimed to disseminate interesting facts and trivia about our work and the town itself. It was a refreshing break from the intensive planning work and allowed us to communicate directly with the local functionaries of the municipality. What made this experience truly special was the sense of collaboration and camaraderie within our team and with the LGU. We shoot various videos today, raising questions to local functionaries about government programs and services to more complex issues related to governance and development. In retrospect, the second day of packaging the CDP was a reminder of the multifaceted nature of our work as LGOO apprentices. It showed us that the process of development planning goes beyond paperwork and statistics; it's about understanding the community's needs and aspirations on a profound level. It also Page 87 of 241

emphasized the importance of transparency and communication in building trust between the government and the citizens. As we continue our journey, we carry with us the lessons and insights gained from this day. We are more motivated than ever to contribute to the creation of a CDP that truly reflects the desires and needs of the Municipality of Corella, and we remain committed to the principles of open governance and community engagement embodied by the "Kahibaw Ba Mo" series. REFLECTION DAY 67 September 21, 2023 Continuing with the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for the Municipality of Corella has been a journey filled with challenges. As LGOO apprentices, our commitment to shaping the future of this community has only deepened, and we're acutely aware of the profound responsibility that comes with this task. The process of crafting the CDP is akin to building a complex puzzle. Each sector, from infrastructure and social to economic, institutional, and environment, demands meticulous attention. It's a humbling experience that underscores the interconnectedness of all aspects of governance and the vital role local governments play in shaping people's lives. One of the highlights of today’s tasks was the packaging of the MLE outputs. These outputs are the culmination of our efforts in facilitating learning events, and they serve as a testament to our dedication to fostering knowledge and capacity building in the LGU where we are assigned. As we package these outputs, we're not merely compiling data and documents; we're creating a legacy of shared knowledge and growth. Another task of the day was writing narratives for our Facebook page. It's our way of reaching out to the residents of Corella, sharing our progress, and keeping them informed about the developments in their municipality. Yet, this journey has not been without its challenges. The weight of expectations, the complexity of the issues, and the need for constant adaptation and innovation can be overwhelming at times. However, it's in these moments of challenge that we find our resilience and determination strengthened. We are reminded that our work isn't just about paperwork; it's about the lives and futures of the people we serve. In reflection, continuing with the packaging of the CDP and MLE outputs, as well as crafting narratives for our Facebook page, has been a deeply enriching experience. It's an embodiment of our commitment to public service, a testament to our growth as professionals, and a reminder of the profound impact that wellPage 88 of 241

crafted policies and initiatives can have on communities. As we press on with this journey, we do so with a sense of purpose, knowing that our efforts are contributing to the betterment of Corella and the lives of its residents. REFLECTION DAY 68 September 22, 2023 Assisting Barangay Pandol during its Barangay Development Plan workshop was a deeply enriching and fulfilling experience. As I reflect on my role in this community endeavor, I am reminded of the profound impact that collaborative efforts can have on the well-being of a community. The journey began with a sense of anticipation and excitement, as I joined the dedicated members of Barangay Pandol in their quest to chart a path towards sustainable development. The workshop served as a platform where ideas and aspirations converged, and my role was to facilitate and support this convergence. During the workshops, I had the privilege of witnessing the collective wisdom of the community members. It was heartening to see individuals from diverse backgrounds and walks of life come together with a shared vision for the betterment of their barangay. My role as a knowledge sharer was to provide insights and information, drawing from my own experiences and expertise in monitoring and evaluation. One of the most significant aspects of the workshop was the emphasis on participatory planning. The community members were actively engaged in identifying their needs, setting priorities, and formulating strategies to address those needs. This approach empowered them to take ownership of their development, fostering a sense of responsibility and pride in their collective achievements. This was highlighted by our MLGOO and supervisor in her message to the barangay officials and CSO representatives. As I shared my information on monitoring and evaluation, I witnessed a genuine thirst for understanding and improvement. The community members were eager to learn how to assess the impact of their initiatives and make data-informed decisions. This demonstrated their commitment to ensuring that their Page 89 of 241

development efforts were not just well-intentioned but also effective and sustainable. In the midst of these workshops, I was struck by the spirit of camaraderie and unity that permeated Barangay Pandol. Despite facing numerous challenges, including limited resources, the community members were determined to overcome obstacles and work together towards their goals. It was a testament to the resilience and determination of the human spirit. As I look back on my time assisting Barangay Pandol, I am reminded of the profound impact of community-driven development. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of collective action and the importance of empowering communities to shape their own destinies. It was a privilege to be a part of their journey, to share knowledge, and to witness the transformation that can occur when people come together with a shared vision and a commitment to positive change. To end, my experience assisting Barangay Pandol during its Barangay Development Plan workshop was a humbling reminder of the potential for positive change when communities are empowered, informed, and united in their pursuit of development. It was a privilege to play a role in this process, and I am grateful for the lessons learned and the relationships formed during this meaningful endeavor. REFLECTION DAY 69 September 23, 2023 Staying at home on Saturdays has become a cherished ritual for me. In a fastpaced world where weekdays are filled with work commitments and social engagements, Saturdays offer a much-needed pause. This simple act of staying in can be a form of self-care and a chance to reconnect with what truly matters. Saturdays at home allow me to step off the treadmill of life's demands and relish the luxury of unhurried moments. The day often begins with a leisurely brunch, savoring a cup of coffee. This calm start sets the tone for a day of tranquility. One of the greatest pleasures of staying home on Saturdays is the freedom to set my own pace. Whether it's delving into a captivating Netflix movie, tackling a creative project, or simply lounging in comfortable attire, I revel in the freedom to do as I please. There's an inherent joy in not being bound by schedules or obligations, a welcome contrast to the structured weekdays. Saturdays at home also provide an opportunity to nurture connections. It's a day when I can invite friends or family over for a casual brunch or game night. These moments of togetherness, free from the distractions of busy restaurants or crowded venues, allow for genuine conversations and the strengthening of bonds. Page 90 of 241

As the day transitions into evening, I often find solace in the stillness of my home. It's a time to reflect on the week gone by, set intentions for the week ahead, and simply be present in the moment. In essence, staying at home on Saturdays is a practice in mindfulness and selfcompassion. It's a reminder that, amidst the hustle and bustle of life, there is beauty in simplicity. These Saturdays provide an anchor, a sanctuary where I can recharge, connect, and find contentment in the ordinary. They are a gentle reminder that sometimes the most profound experiences can be found within the walls of our own homes. REFLECTION DAY 70 September 24, 2023 Attending Mass in the early morning has always been a ritual that grounds me and offers a sense of tranquility. There's something profoundly peaceful about stepping into the hushed ambiance of a church before the world awakens. The dimly lit interior, the faint scent of incense, and the gentle murmur of prayers create an atmosphere of reverence. As I kneel in the pew, I find solace in the familiar rituals—the hymns that fill the air, the rhythmic recitation of prayers, and the moment of quiet reflection. It's a time to reset my mind, to reconnect with my spirituality, and to seek guidance for the week ahead. The Mass reminds me of the values of compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude, which are integral to leading a meaningful life. After Mass, I venture to the local market. The vibrant energy of the market is a stark contrast to the serenity of the church. The bustling stalls and the lively chatter of vendors and shoppers create a lively symphony. As I browse through the fresh produce and interact with the friendly vendors, I am reminded of the beauty of community and the importance of supporting local businesses. Returning home, I immerse myself in a good book. Reading is a sanctuary of the mind, a journey to distant lands or different worlds, all from the comfort of my bed. Once I've had my fill of literary adventure, it's time to focus on my responsibilities. I sit down to update my weekly accomplishment report, both for myself and my team. This task demands attention to detail as I chronicle our achievements, challenges, and plans. It's a moment for self-assessment, a chance to evaluate progress and set new goals. The individual report helps me track my personal growth and professional development. It's a reminder of the importance of continuous improvement and the satisfaction of setting and achieving milestones. Page 91 of 241

The team report, on the other hand, fosters collaboration and transparency. It ensures that everyone is aligned with our collective objectives and encourages open communication among team members. As I compile these reports, I am reminded that success is often a collective effort, and effective communication is the cornerstone of a high-performing team. In these simple yet meaningful rituals—attending Mass, exploring the market, reading, and documenting achievements—I find balance and purpose in my life. They serve as a reminder that life is a delicate interplay of the spiritual, the communal, the intellectual, and the professional. Each aspect enriches the other, creating a harmonious existence that brings fulfillment and meaning to my days. REFLECTION DAY 71 September 25, 2023 Submitting weekly individual and team accomplishment reports, utilizing a pass slip to head home for a surprise visit to my husband, and then returning to work to assist our supervisor during a meeting with barangay secretaries in the packaging of their respective Barangay Development Plans was quite an eventful and fulfilling day. Firstly, the practice of submitting regular reports, both individually and as a team, plays a significant role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective communication within the workplace. It allows us to track our progress, identify areas of improvement, and celebrate achievements together. This routine has become a vital part of our work culture, promoting a sense of responsibility and teamwork. Surprising my husband with a visit during the workday was a heartwarming experience. It's easy to get caught up in the demands of work and forget to nurture personal relationships. Taking a brief moment to show appreciation and love can do wonders for both of us, and it's a reminder of the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Returning to work swiftly to assist our supervisor during the meeting with barangay secretaries demonstrated my dedication to my job. These meetings were pivotal in shaping the future of the barangays. It was a privilege to contribute to the discussions and help package the BDPs, knowing that our efforts would have a positive impact on our community. It is noteworthy that the Page 92 of 241

DILG's contribution to the formulation of BDPs is instrumental in promoting sustainable and inclusive development at the grassroots level. Its expertise, support, and oversight help barangays create plans that not only address their immediate needs but also contribute to the overall progress of the nation. The DILG's role is a testament to the government's commitment to strengthening local governance and ensuring that no community is left behind in the journey toward progress. To end, this day highlighted the significance of balance in our lives. It reinforced the idea that work is essential, but so are personal connections and moments of surprise and joy. It also underscored the importance of teamwork and how our collective efforts can drive positive change within our community. REFLECTION DAY 72 September 26, 2023 Joining the Municipal Assessment and Turnover Team (MATT) for the inspection of barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) properties, legislative and administrative documents was a truly enlightening experience. This endeavor encompassed visits to four distinct barangays – Sambog, Anislag, Tanday, and Poblacion. It also marked our first-ever visit to barangays Sambog and Tanday, leaving just one barangay unexplored in Corella: Barangay Canapnapan. The task at hand was not just a routine inventory; it was a deep dive into the core of local governance. As we embarked on this journey, I couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility and curiosity. The records we scrutinized held the essence of public trust, and our role was to ensure that this trust was upheld. We were entrusted by our supervisor to examine the documents of the barangays. Our task involved scrutinizing a wide range of documents, including legislative and administrative files and property records. This role came with a significant level of trust and responsibility as we delved into the records that form the backbone of local governance. Throughout this journey, I couldn't help but reflect on the importance of these processes in maintaining the integrity of our local governments. It's not just about numbers and documents; it's about the commitment of these officials to their communities and the trust placed in them by the people they serve. Page 93 of 241

As we wrapped up our inventory, I felt a profound sense of satisfaction. Our role in MATT was not just about checking boxes; it was about contributing to the larger goal of ensuring that public resources were being used judiciously for the betterment of their communities. In addition, continuing the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) of Corella was a journey filled with challenges. While this process allowed me to gain a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of local development planning and the significant impact it has on the community, I encountered the challenge for meticulous data gathering and analysis. To formulate a meaningful and effective CDP, we had to rely on accurate and up-to-date information. In this case, we had to rely on the data provided by heads of departments and offices of the municipality in their workshop outputs. Overall, the journey of packaging the CDP was a profound learning experience. It taught me the value of data-driven decision-making, the significance of community engagement, and the necessity of sustainability in local planning. This process reinforced my commitment to the betterment of our community and provided me with valuable insights that will continue to guide me in my involvement in local governance and development. REFLECTION DAY 73 September 27, 2023 Continuing the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) of Corella has been a journey filled with growth and a deep sense of responsibility. My specific assignment involved polishing the workshops for the infrastructure and institutional sectors, and I'm proud to say that I've successfully completed seven workshops in these areas today. First and foremost, this experience has reaffirmed my belief in the importance of long-term planning for a community's well-being. The CDP isn't just a document; it's a vision for the future, a blueprint that will guide the development of the municipality for years to come. Every workshop I worked on felt like a piece of the puzzle, contributing to the larger picture of Corella's progress. The infrastructure sector workshops required meticulous attention to detail, especially with the jargon and the technical words of this sector. It was eyeopening to realize the extent to which proper infrastructure can enhance the quality of life for Corellahanons. It also made me acutely aware of the need for sustainability in these projects to ensure they benefit future generations. On the other hand, the institutional sector workshops delved into the governance structures, policies, and services that underpin the municipality. It was fascinating to explore how effective governance can drive development and create a conducive environment for residents and businesses alike. Ensuring transparency, Page 94 of 241

accountability, and the efficient delivery of services became recurring themes in these workshops. What struck me most during this journey was the collaborative spirit that underpinned our efforts. Working with #TeamCorella apprentices has been smooth sailing since we also consider the pacing of our team members. As I completed each workshop, I couldn't help but reflect on the significance of our work. We were not just crunching numbers and drafting documents; we were shaping the destiny of Corella. It's a responsibility that weighs heavy, but it's also a privilege that fills me with pride. To conclude, continuing the packaging of the CDP of Corella has been a transformative experience. It has reinforced my commitment to the principles of long-term planning, sustainability, and collaborative governance. As I move forward to complete the remaining workshops, I do so with a sense of purpose and optimism, knowing that our collective efforts will contribute to a brighter future for Corella and its residents. REFLECTION DAY 74 September 28, 2023 Attending Holy Mass, continuing the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan of the Municipality of Corella, and shooting a video for the "Kahibaw ba mo?" series have all been diverse yet meaningful experiences that have enriched my connection with the municipality and my spirituality. The act of attending Holy Mass transcends mere religious ritual; it's an opportunity to find solace and a sense of belonging. As I sat amidst my fellow public servants, I felt the collective energy of devotion and hope. The resonance of hymns and prayers united us in a profound way, reminding me of the importance of faith in our lives. It was a time for reflection, for seeking guidance, and for renewing my commitment to living a purposeful life. On the other hand, delving into the packaging of the CDP of the Municipality of Corella was a glimpse into the meticulous planning required for community growth. This endeavor involves the careful consideration of the needs, aspirations, and resources of the town. It reaffirmed my belief in the power of local governance Page 95 of 241

to shape the future of Corellahanons. I realized that contributing to such a plan is not merely a bureaucratic task; it's a civic duty that directly impacts the wellbeing of our neighbors and friends. It is through these small steps that we collectively build a brighter tomorrow. Shooting a video for the "Kahibaw ba mo?" series was an opportunity to bridge the gap between the local government and its constituents. In these brief yet engaging clips, we aimed to share essential information and trivia about the Department and the Municipality of Corella. It was a chance to empower our community with knowledge. Through this initiative, I saw firsthand the importance of effective communication in fostering a sense of inclusion and transparency in governance. In essence, these three experiences have reinforced my belief in the interconnectedness of spirituality, community engagement, and civic responsibility. Attending Holy Mass reminded me of the importance of faith and reflection in my life while working on the development plan underscored the significance of active participation in shaping our community's future. Finally, creating videos for "Kahibaw ba mo?" reiterated the power of information and communication in building stronger, more informed societies. Each of these endeavors, in its own way, contributes to the betterment of our municipality and the enrichment of my own soul. They remind me that our lives are not isolated but deeply intertwined with the people and places we hold dear, and by nurturing these connections, we can create a brighter and more harmonious future for all. REFLECTION DAY 75 September 29, 2023 Celebrating Family Day alongside the dedicated employees and officials of the Municipality of Corella, including the esteemed personnel of DILG Corella, PNP, BFP, and Comelec, was an experience that truly embodied the essence of unity, community, and shared purpose. Page 96 of 241

As we gathered on this special occasion, the first thing that struck me was the warmth and camaraderie that enveloped us. It was as if we had all been part of one big family for years. This familial atmosphere made me appreciate the importance of community bonds in our lives. It served as a reminder that beyond our official roles and responsibilities, we are all connected by our shared commitment to serving the municipality and its people. The activities planned for the day were not only fun but also reflective of our shared values. The team-building exercises emphasized cooperation and communication, qualities that are essential in our respective roles. These activities reinforced the idea that we are stronger when we work together, just like a family. The presence of officials from various departments, including DILG, PNP, BFP, and Comelec, added a layer of significance to the celebration. It underscored the importance of collaboration between different branches of government in achieving common goals. It was a valuable reminder that we are all part of a larger system working towards the betterment of the community here. Being chosen as judges for the office presentations was an unexpected but exciting opportunity. It was a role that came with responsibility and the chance to see our colleagues in a different light. I really enjoyed our Friday! It was a delightful and cherished part of my week. It's a time when the weight of work temporarily lifts, and we come together to celebrate the approaching weekend. These moments of camaraderie offer valuable reflections on the importance of work-life balance and building meaningful relationships. To end, celebrating Family Day with the employees and officials of the Municipality of Corella, alongside our DILG, PNP, BFP, and Comelec family members, was a heartfelt reminder of the strength that lies in unity and the importance of the bonds we share as a community. It was a day filled with laughter and a deep appreciation for the collective effort that goes into making the municipality a better place. This experience will undoubtedly serve as a source of inspiration as we continue to work together for the betterment of our beloved Corella. Page 97 of 241

REFLECTION DAY 76 September 30, 2023 Spending a Saturday watching Netflix movies, doing the laundry, and cleaning the house might sound like a mundane way to pass the day, but it takes on a special significance when you consider that there are only two weeks left of our Supervised Field Work here in Corella before we head back to Cebu. As I settled onto the bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort and contentment. The week had been long and challenging. So, this Saturday was a well-deserved break, a chance to recharge before the final sprint. Netflix, with its vast library of movies and shows, became my portal to different worlds. It was more than just entertainment; it was a temporary escape from the rigors of our fieldwork. As I watched stories unfold on the screen, I found myself reflecting on the parallels between the characters' journeys and our own. Each plot twist and character development seemed to mirror our own growth during this experience. Amidst the binge-watching, I couldn't ignore the pile of laundry that had been growing steadily in the corner. Doing chores like this felt strangely therapeutic. Folding clothes, scrubbing dishes - they provided a break from mental tasks and allowed me to engage with my surroundings in a different way. It reminded me that even in the midst of our busy schedules, the simple act of maintaining our living space brought a sense of order and normalcy to our lives. Cleaning the house also led to moments of reflection. As I wiped down countertops and swept floors, I thought about how, in just two weeks, this place we had called home during our fieldwork would be left behind. The familiar corners and nooks that had become our sanctuary would soon be replaced by the hustle and bustle of Cebu City. It was a bittersweet realization, a reminder that our time here was limited and that we should savor every moment. The day's activities, seemingly ordinary, held a deeper significance. They allowed me to appreciate the small moments, to find solace in the routine, and to acknowledge the impending transition back to our regular lives in Cebu. It was a reminder that even the most mundane of days can be filled with meaning when viewed through the lens of time's passing. REFLECTION DAY 77 October 1, 2023 Today, we welcomed the month of October with over 15 hours of power outage. But, it did not hinder me from doing my usual Sunday routine. Page 98 of 241

Spending Sundays in devout reflection, centered around attending Holy Mass and engaging in prayer, carries profound spiritual significance. It's a day of spiritual rejuvenation and connection with the divine. However, when combined with the responsibilities of updating weekly reports and expected interruptions like power outages, it can become a challenging juggling act that tests one's patience and resilience. The anticipation of Holy Mass fills me with a sense of calm and purpose. Attending Holy Mass is not just a religious obligation but an opportunity to immerse myself in a community of believers, sharing in the sacrament of Eucharist and reflecting on the week's blessings and challenges. The recitation of the rosary is another essential part of my Sunday ritual since October is a rosary month. It's a meditative practice that allows me to contemplate the life of Jesus and the teachings of Mary, providing spiritual guidance and comfort. The repetitive prayers serve as a form of mindfulness, helping me find inner peace amidst life's chaos. However, the day's tranquility is often disrupted by the looming task of updating weekly accomplishment reports. It can be a daunting responsibility, especially when it extends into the precious hours of Sunday. Furthermore, the frustration of power interruptions adds an extra layer of complexity to the day. It's disheartening to see the modern world's conveniences vanish suddenly, reminding me of the fragility of the systems we rely on. Yet, in the midst of these challenges, there's an opportunity for growth. Navigating through the power outages teaches patience and adaptability. It reminds me that life often throws unexpected obstacles our way, and it's essential to stay resilient and focused on what truly matters. In retrospect, despite the long and sometimes arduous Sundays, there's a profound sense of fulfillment that comes from this routine. It's a reminder that life is a delicate balance between the earthly and the spiritual, and finding harmony between the two is an ongoing journey. In facing challenges and disruptions, I discover the importance of patience, persistence, and the resilience fueled by faith. Sundays, with their mix of religious commitment and everyday responsibilities, mirror the ongoing pursuit of a balanced and purposeful life. REFLECTION DAY 78 October 2, 2023 The ongoing process of submitting weekly individual and team achievement reports, as well as progressing with the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan for the Municipality of Corella, has proven to be a priceless journey. It has not only contributed to my professional development but has also Page 99 of 241

nurtured a strong sense of community and a shared sense of purpose. This continuous effort reflects the core values of collaboration, dedication, and the pursuit of a shared objective. First and foremost, the act of submitting weekly individual and team accomplishment reports has been a powerful tool for personal development. It has instilled discipline, time management, and accountability into my daily and weekly routine. The process of summarizing my achievements, challenges, and goals each week has provided me with a clear perspective of my progress and areas that require improvement. This self-reflection has not only enhanced my efficiency but has also motivated me to set higher standards for myself. Furthermore, this practice has promoted transparency and open communication within our team. Sharing our accomplishments and challenges on a regular basis has created an atmosphere of trust and support. We have learned to celebrate each other's successes and provide constructive feedback when necessary. This collaborative spirit has significantly strengthened our bonds and our ability to work cohesively towards our common objectives. On a broader scale, the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan of the Municipality of Corella is a task of great significance. It embodies our commitment to the welfare and progress of our community. As we meticulously compile data, conduct research, and analyze the needs of the municipality, it becomes evident that our efforts contribute to the betterment of the lives of our fellow citizens. The development plan is not just a document; it represents a vision for the future. It outlines strategies to address critical issues such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability. Our team's dedication to this endeavor reflects our deep-rooted sense of responsibility and pride in being part of Corella's transformation. To end, submitting weekly individual and team accomplishment reports while continuing the packaging of the Comprehensive Development Plan of the Municipality of Corella has been a transformative experience. It has allowed for personal growth, strengthened team dynamics, and underscored the importance of our mission. We are not just contributors; we are stewards of Corella's future, and this journey has reaffirmed our commitment to making a positive impact on our community. Together, we strive for progress, knowing that our collective efforts will shape a brighter tomorrow for Corella and its residents. REFLECTION DAY 79 October 3, 2023 Last 11 days and we are going home! Today, we still continued the packaging of Corella's Comprehensive Development Plan. As I have said over and over again, this has been a journey marked by both challenges and accomplishments. It's a Page 100 of 241
