Celebrating Christmas
at the Lake

Chapter 1
It must have been one of the coldest days
of the year when my family congregated
together to celebrate one of our favorite
holiday….

Chapter 2
One of the favorite activities of the day was
the ice bowling tournament. First the lane
had to be shoveled from the deep snow.
Holes needed to be drilled partially into the
ice. Not so deep that the ball would fall
through, but deep enough that the ball
would securely land in place for points to
be counted.
It took many rounds of ice bowling before a
winner was determined.

Chapter 3
The evening meal is always something
to savor as the crab legs are prepared.
Huge roasters of water are heated and
pounds of butter are melted. The table
is set with dishes and appropriate crab
leg utensils.
Everyone looks forward to this special
meal filled with food and laughter.
