INTRODUCTION

In every state in Malaysia there is a leader. As well as Johor. Many Johor leaders who have
done a lot in Johor. Such as Sultan Iskandar, Dato Onn Jaafar and many more.
I would like to choose SULTAN IBRAHIM IBNI ALMARHUM SULTAN ISKANDAR as
my Johor Leader.

BIODATA OF SULTAN
IBRAHIM

Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar is the 25th Sultan of Johor and the 5th Sultan
of Modern Johor. His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim is born on 22 November 1958 in
Sultanah Aminah Hospital and the son of Sultan Iskandar. His Royal Highness Sultan
Ibrahim is married to Her Royal Highness Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris
Shah. They are blessed with 6 children, five princes and a princees.

The late Sultan Iskandar sent His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim to complete his secondary
education at Trinity Grammar School in Sydney, Australia from 1968 until 1970. After
finishing his high school, His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim sent to Pusat Latihan Tentera
Darat [PULADA] in Kota Tinggi for basic military training. His Royal Highness Sultan
Ibrahim also received military training in the US at Fort Beginning, Georgia and later at Fort
Bragg, North Carolina.

THE CAREER OF SULTAN
IBRAHIM

When his father His Royal Highness Sultan Iskandar ascended the throne of Johor, Tunku
Ibrahim was appointed Heir and proclaimed as the Crown Prince on 3 July 1981. And
when his father was appointed Yang Di Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Tunku Ibrahim was
made the Regent of Johor from 25 April 1984 to 25 April 1989 carrying out the duties of a
sovereign. It was during on his tenure as Regent that he honed his skills and put into
practice the discipline, knowledge and ability he had acquired to administer and rule his
state.
On the demise of his father, Tunku Ibrahim Ismail was proclaimed the Sultan of Johor on
23 January 2010.

CONTRIBUTION OF SULTAN
IBRAHIM

1. His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim contribute to needy families through its scholarships
and affordable housing scheme through in Rumah Mimpi Mampu Johor.

2. During Covid 19 pandemic, His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim presented donations of
various equipment and essential items sponsored by various corporation to hospitals in the
state to fight Covid 19 pandemic through Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation [YSIJ].

His Royal Highness Sultan Ibrahim has done a lot in the state of Johor. His Royal Highness
Sultan Ibrahim leadership, creadibility and personality make him an Ruler much respected
and loved by the people of Johor.
In conclusion, let us take a lesson from success achieved by Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum
Sultan Iskandar.
