As Ben could now not see anything from his window, he came out quietly, there was no one there. Ben ran and picked his hat and three shiny red glass like stones, there was nobody there. Ben thought for a while and was now quite sure that the figure he saw was an alien from another planet who had visited him, in a flying saucer. He decided to call the alien Zadock. Zadock was friendly thought Ben as he did not cause any harm but left him with a gift from his planet. Ben walked back home to tell his parents and friends about Zadock and the flying saucer. The spooky sleepover!!
By Diya Bhartiya PYP5B “The day has finally arrived!” I screamed as soon as I stepped into my classroom, today was the day I, Sargun and Noora were having our sleepover that too, on Halloween! I was really excited as we were planning on this whole thing for days… Sargun and Noora were very excited too! Since it was Halloween, we were allowed to dress up as any character, so I, Sargun and Noora decided to dress up as three witches. The rest of the day we were so excited that we would have probably said barely anything else except “I am so excited!”. Soon, the moment came, where we finally took a step into my bus… we continued planning for our sleepover until we reached my villa, we got down and we walked to my house, filled with excitement... Then we decided to freshen up a little, eat something and then go swimming, as we had planned! Soon we got changed into our swimming costume, and just as we were walking down the stairs, when Noora gave out a scream, I turned back to see what had happened, and it was my dog that seemed to have given her a fright! I explained her that it was just my dog “Hachiko.” On the way to the swimming pool decided to take Hachiko, along with us while trick or treating, so that he can be a Halloween character too! As soon as we saw the swimming pool we ran as fast as we could and jumped in! We mostly played rather than swim, but I guess its fine as we still had loads of fun! After a while we walked back to my house so that we can eat something and build a fort just in time so that we can go trick or treating… We finally started building the fort, we put it in the living room so that we could stay in it even while watching the movie at night. We made nachos with salsa before putting our costumes on, and the best part was dressing Hachiko up! And we were ready to go out to trick or treat. The Trio in Halloween costumes
Soon we finished trick-or-treating most of the houses and our bags were already full, so we went back to get different bags. We soon finished all the houses, but then there was one house left that no one even dared to walk in front of, it was sure that no one would want to go to that creepy house, especially on Halloween, but Noora insisted on going, just for the sake of more candy! So, we slowly walked to the front porch, the door was slightly open, but none of us dared to open it, so Noora rang the doorbell, we heard footsteps, the door opened a little more, but we didn’t see anyone… I wanted to scream! Something furry jumped onto us! We ran as fast as we could, I turned back to see what it was… and it was Hachiko! we were so relieved… We went back home, we decided to play board games for a while as my mum ordered pizza and ice cream for dinner. After finishing our dinner, we decided to make Halloween-themed cards and charms. Later, after some time we decorated our fort more before starting the movie, we also gave each other a really fun nail manicure! We watched the movie past midnight, and then we went to sleep… We woke up late morning, we had breakfast, and we also removed our fort. Soon Sargun’s and Noora’s moms came to pick them up, and it was really sad to end our sleepover, but I am happy that we had so much fun!

The Naughty Monkey By Aarav Jayagopal PYP 5C One day a group of players were playing football on the outskirt of forest near the sea shore. They were practising for their tournament in the net. Firstly, they did warm up with lunges, quats, mountain climbers, wall drives, squat jumps. They all wore safe gear like helmets, shoulder pads, mouth guard, shoes. They played with smile, some times with a big laugh with giggly jokes. They hit the ball in close control building a rhythm and tempo, they learn to move the ball side to side incorporating turns and skills working off both feet. They were learning how to move in different directions. It was a hard work. They got tired. They stopped to rest. They put down their helmets, shoulder pads, shoes on the ground. They sat down to eat. A Little later they went for a nap, soon some monkeys came there. They looked at the men. One baby monkey was very naughty. He ran near the net. He jumped and danced on top of it. He tried to do lunges, mountain climbers, wall drives. He wore the helmet, T-shirt, shoulder pads, he put his tiny leg into the shoes and starting dancing on the ball. Then kicking the ball. His mother shouted, Get down now, its dangerous. The naughty monkey did not listen. He danced and he sang and sang screech, reeeech! Wheeeeeeee! Just look at meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! The naughty monkey jumped on the ball and fell on the ground and broke his bone. The naughty little monkey shrieked and the mother monkey and other monkeys screeched loudly. The men woke up and saw the little monkey crying with fear. The men carried the little monkey to dispensary, give the first aid and sent it to his mother waiting away near a big tree.
Shah Jahan and the Dragon King: The Legend of the Red Fort By: Abhimanyu singh PYP 5C Once there was a great emperor named Shah Jahan. He wanted to construct a majestic fort as a symbol of his strength. So, he set his best builders to work. Work started in full bloom but every full moon night structure came tumbling down. Architects tried repeatedly but all in vain. The king got worried, and made an announcement, “Whoever can solve this problem will be awarded.” Many people attempted, but no one heard or saw anything. Far away there used to live one wise man who was blind and deaf. He decided to help the king and went to the site on full moon night. Around midnight he started hearing weird noises. “WHAT! How is this possible”? He started walking towards the source of the noise and to his surprise saw two gigantic dragons fighting and many smaller dragons cheering.He bowed to the dragon king and asked “How is this possible?” “I am both blind and deaf, yet I can hear and see you all. Dragon king responded with a smile “Using magic, I have reversed the noise and visibility of my dragons. “So, only people like you can hear or see us.” “Oh, that explains everything,” the man said. In the morning he went straight to Shah Jahan and told him the extraordinary experience. The king was astonished and on the next full moon night went with the blind man to the site. The man introduced Shah Jahan to the dragon king. The dragon king reversed the magic and the Emperor explained his problem with the fort construction and asked why is it happening. “It is an ancient tradition for two dragons to fight on the full moon night and all others to cheer them. This place has always been my arena and because my dragons fight fiercely the structure is bound to break” the dragon king explained. Shah Jahan understood the problem and asked for dragon king’s help. Hearing Shah Jahan’s plea , dragon king blessed Shah Jahan “even after my dragons fight your fort won’t break.” “It will be counted as one of the strongest fort on earth”. “I will dedicate this part of the arena for you and your dragons to fight,” Shah Jahan said. The next day the construction started and the Red Fort was built in no time. Legend says even after all these years, some people still hear noises every full moon night.
WHAT A DREAM! By: Aditya Prasanth PYP 5C Once, there were four children: Alice, George, Pat, and Lucy. Alice loved to read and so did Lucy. Pat was a shy little kid. He was the youngest but also the smartest. George was very interested in birds. In fact, he had a parrot of his own. Its name was Zeke. It was a noisy parrot and loved to copy very loud or annoying sounds (it could also talk very well). But the one thing they all loved was going to many places around the world. It was a sunny day in the town where the children lived. There Pat sat under a tree trying to solve some algebra problems. There was no one around but he heard a voice that would probably be talking to him. Wipe your feet before coming in! For the last time go have a bath! Pat stood up and looked around to see if anyone was there. When the voice stopped, he immediately went back to his algebra. It was about 6:00, and his mum called him for supper. When he reached his house he saw that Alice, Lucy, and George were already there. Hello Pat! said George. His parrot Zeke was there too. Hello George! said Pat. Are you done with your homework, Pat? said his mother. Yes mum. All done! Where are Lucy and Alice? Oh, they are coming. Look there they are right now. Hi mum! said Lucy and Alice. Go tidy up and get ready for supper. How are you Zeke? said Pat. Hillo! Wipe your feet! said Zeke. Huh?! said Pat. George giggled. He is copying our neighbor! laughed George. So that’s who I heard! said Pat. What's for supper mum? said Alice, coming down the staircase. Vegetable soup, rice, chicken and some pudding. Said their mum. Delicious! Said Pat. Let’s eat. I have some news children. said their mum. I have decided to go on a vacation. I haven’t decided where to go yet, but I thought I could ask you. Alice, Pat, George, and Lucy were all excited. Can we go to Panama? Said George. Can we go to Ireland? Said Alice and Lucy. Can we go to the Maldives? Said Pat. Ok. But before we go, I want you to tell me why you wanted to go to Panama, Ireland, and the Maldives. Panama is an amazing country known for its birds! Ireland is known for its treasured literature and great works. Maldives is known for its good climate, clear blue ocean, big beaches, clean air, and a great place to relax. Alright then, those are the places we are going to for vacation! Even Zeke will like it. Said their mum. We leave in 2 days. The next morning, they all began to pack their things and the day after that, Ring! Ring! Pat saw himself on his bed, very confused. Wait, was that a dream? He said to himself. I was very excited even though it was a dream. said Pat sadly. At least we can go on a vacation this summer.

I was just casually walking in the house when a floor tile suddenly broke. I was startled but before I could I could react I started falling. Thud! I hit the ground. After that extra painful incident, I got up and started exploring. But then suddenly I found this weird looking thing. It had a clock, some keys like a laptop and a bunch of screens. What is this, how does it work? I looked at that machine. Then I kicked it. After that I punched it. Finally, after punching and kicking I got back to my senses. I saw a button in the shape of a watch I pushed it and my it was a watch.
There was a stairway that got me back home. And off I went. I reached home, lay on the bed thinking how it works. Then I realized oh my god I was so silly. I just needed to type the Year, Month, Date, Event A failed experiment I typed Year as 2020, Month as April, date as 19 and pressed travel. I went back but without the machine. Oops luckily the moment only lasted for an hour, and I got whisked away to my own time phew. Next try. Okay now I was relived I was back. I had a good night’s sleep. Next day I woke up early and tried again but before pressing travel I described the situation. Well, I got stuck again. And after being whisked again I was fed up. I thought this time machine was broken. These experiences of me getting whisked back, it was so disappointing. After that it was time for breakfast. I was happy that my mom made my favourite pizza dosa. After that goodness. I got up and started jotting down ideas and experiences. Successful experiment I tried for the millionth time but before pressing travel I converted the machine into a watch and I set the travel time to 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I was whisked off to my time. Amazing, awesome I screamed in delight. Back in time I went to amusement parks, restaurants, theatres, rock climbing walls and to fix mistakes. In 2018 I went to Wonderla. The experience was wonderful. I really wanted to go again but my family did not get time. So, I took a trip to Wonderla. It was fun taking the rides, but my favourite was the water rides. I ate Maggi, Fixed a fight etc. Forward in time I saw the future how I would fail my tests. How I would get a scholarship to my dream college. How my friend would be bruised. Lucky us I had a time machine. I saved many people and changed the world for the better. Conclusion I am glad. That I can change the world and I still use the time machine up to some good.
Halloween By : Ananmay Maheshwari PYP 5C HALLOWEEN Ram me and your father are going out for dinner, and we will come back late at night so after you give the candy to everyone you go to your room and sleep. I replied saying “fine after distributing the candy I will go to my room and sleep if it is past 12 am. After giving candy, for about 20 minutes no one came to our door, so I thought everyone went home but as I was going up the stairs, I heard the door open and since my parents were out, I went to my room and locked it. After locking the door, I went and started calling my parents, but it said that their phones were unavailable and if you want to leave a voice message because they did not answer I called my friend Raj, but he also did not pick up. Then I heard the door open I got so scared because Raj was sitting next to the 2 clowns so I begged them to let him go but they said no so I started feeling very scared. Then all of them came out of their disguises and screamed that this was all a prank so I was relieved to see it was them and I made it clear not to pull this prank again. NEXT HALLOWEEN I partnered with my other friends to pull the same prank on them on the most unexpected time, so they got very scared and I came out of my disguise and told them this is the taste of your own medicine.

Then she decided to wait for some time. She waited and waited but they did not come. Then she decided to go home. She started to ride her cycle but then she saw her friend Emily and she said, “sorry I was late, I had to finish my homework.” “That’s okay,” said Tina. They started playing tag for 15 min. After that Tina’s mom came to pick her up. Emily wanted to eat ice cream because it was hot, but her mom never allowed her to buy so she decided to ask Tina’s mom to buy ice cream. So, she asked Tina’s mom to buy some ice cream for Tina and for herself. Tina’s mom said OKAY. CHAPTER 2 So, they went to the nearby store. When they reached, Tina chose vanilla ice cream and Emily got Oreo ice cream. When they reached the billing place, they saw their friend Amanda coming into the store. Tina and Emily called “Amanda.” Amanda turned around and called “hi Emily, hi Tina. What are you doing here?” “We are buying some ice cream. What are you doing?” Amanda replied “I am buying some pens. Then all three of them went out, said bye and went home. But before Emily went, she told Tina’s mom not to tell her mom that she bought ice cream. One could control the water while another could control the ground.They did not know that they were capable of doing it until they were nine. Their names are Aqua,Windy,Animia and Fiery. When they were babies, their mom had given them lockets which resembled their superpower. It was also a protection for them when they were young. July 19 is the day they were born. Today was an exciting day tomorove is their 10th birthday. When it was their birthday, their powers used to increase. It was nighttime. They all fell asleep. Suddenly they all had a dream that said the 4 elements are in danger. Someone is trying to destroy it.We need help to protect it you element protecters can only help us please help.They all woke up with a start. Just then they saw a small portal to the magical world.They thought that if they were missing on their birthday, it would be a catastrophe just then they heard a noise it said in magic time 1minute in the human world means 1 week here so you girls can come.They thought they can practice fighting using their powers for a week and start the adventure tomoreve. Chapter-2 They joined hands and entered the portal. They saw a beautiful red carpet below their legs and flowers decorated in diverse ways which looked spended.They went to their house in the magical world. They slept for a while and went to the practicing field.The first day they had fought with each other water x air, earth x fire.They all made a tie. Then they used their powers and attacked a human model and all of them had breacked it into pieces. Next day they fought against professional fighters, and they all won. Next, they all used their powers and made a beautiful house for them. All their houses were magnificent. The next day they made a powerful shield so that nobody could harm them. It worked all the villagers tried putting tomatoes on them but not even one touched them. Then they helped everyone out. The next day, they shopped, went to the spa and had pizza. The next day they used their powers and made improvements in their society. The next day they had a tour around the world and helped the needy. On the last day they said bye, see you later and went back to their bedrooms and slept. Chapter-3 The next day was their birthday, they had a huge party, pizza and ice cream, invited everyone to play a few games and gave away the presents. It was night and they headed off to the magical world. When they reached it, they saw that small rivers or ponds were drying up, so they decided to start with the water adventure. Then they found a small note that said that to save the water in the city you must find the water gem and give it to Aqua and ask her to tie it like a necklace and touch the empty ponds and lakes. Then behind the note there was a map. The map showed where the gem was. They packed some food and water and left for the journey. First, they had to cross a river called the Fanta River. It was basically made of Fanta and other delicious sodas like colas and other beverages. To cross it, the girls had to make a pink raft made of chocolate and other sweets. For that they had to go to Chocolate Land which was extremely far from The Fanta River. Windy had an idea, she used her magical wind powers to create a strong gust of wind that carried them to Chocolate Land in a moment. So, they all went with some supplies to build plus food and water if they got hungry or thirsty while building. When they reached, they got off and checked the map in the map there was a river full of water but now there was no water in the river. They quickly
collected dark, pink chocolate, they also collected pink marshmallows. But as they wondered how in the world would they make a boat from chocolate. For that matter how would they make a boat at all. Suddenly the note transformed before their very eyes into a book titled How to Make a Boat with Pink Chocolate and Pink Marshmallows. The girls happily took the book and started to read how to make it. They finally finished making the boat. As they surveyed their work, they saw it was stunning. They journeyed on to the Fanta River. Next, they had to solve 3 riddles from the protecter of the gem. It was WHERE IS A PLACE WERE A HOLE FOR A RIVER BUT IT DOSNT HAVE WATER IN IT? Aqua imeadetly said a map. It was the correct answer. Next WHAT HAS HANDS BUT CAN NOT HOLD STUFF, WHAT CAN MOVE BUT CAN NOT STOP. Anamia quickly said a clock. Last question WHAT HAS 4 LEGS BUT CAN NOT MOVE?Immediatly all of them told table. The protector said excellent job since you have correctly answered you can enter. The girls quickly took the gem and left. Aqua tied the gem like a necklace and touched all the dried lakes and ponds. Chapter-4 Next, the girls decided to check if any other of the elements needed help. Then Fiery saw a note it said you need to help the fire element it is in great danger you must find 3 riddles that will inform you were the mega lamp which gives all the fire in the world. The evil person is trying to destroy it. Once you have found it you must give it too fiery. But Fiery won't be able to come with you. It is important for her to stay back because she will be weak since the lamp is weak. You see she made the lamp when she was young to show whether she was fit or not. Till now she was fine but now she is weak. One of your sisters must stay back with fiery. The first riddle will be in chocolate land where you created the pink boat. So, they decided that Aqua will stay with Fiery and Windy and Anamia will search for the lamp. So, they started off Windy used a gust of wind and they both reached chocolate land. They searched and searched but they couldn't find it. Just then they saw a paper. When they reached it, they it was a question on it saying what is 1 + 1. Immediately the girls understood that they had to go to 2 world. So, they headed off to the 2 world. When they reached, they saw that it was crowded they saw the 2 riddle that said what is sweet but hard to chew. The girls instantly knew where they had to go. But there was a problem, they needed Aqua. They needed Aqua because she had residency for a swimming competition. They needed residency. So, they decided to switch Anamia and Aqua so that they could go to sweet land and get the 3 riddle. They came back and went to sweet land. They kept searching everywhere for the 3 riddle but it was not there. In the night Aqua asked whether they had taken this long to find the 1 and 2 clues and Windy said no it had taken an hour or two to find it. Then Aqua got worried whether it was the correct place or not and checked the riddle again. It was correct just then they saw a note below that said you can find a place called the grand otsave there is a small cave right in the middle. You must go there and find the lamp and give it too Fiery. So, they decided to do it tomorrow. The next day they went to the grand otsave. They saw a cave in the middle to reach quicker they used Windys power and went up they went inside the cave it was very dark. Suddenly they saw a person he looked like, as if he hadn’t eaten for ages. He asked them, "Can I have some food? The girls immeadetly gave him some food. Then they looked for the lamp. When they turned back to see where the man was, they saw that the lamp was there. They took the lamp and reached back. They gave it too Fiery. She looked tired. They gave her the lamp and she began to glow, and she fixed the fire issue. Chapter-5 All the 4 girls were happy but tired, so they decided to go back into the non-magic world and have some sleep and continue their adventures tomorove night. So, they went back and had some sleep. The next morning, they all researched a special type of flower in class it was believed to solve any soil issue. That night they packed some food and water and set off. When they reached, they saw cracks all around and when they turned back to see Anamia, they saw that there were cracks on her. When they asked how she felt, she said she had a bad headache and fever. They
took her to their house and started helping her feel better. Then they saw a note it said Anamia won't feel better until you give her the flower. She is sick because the soil is bad. The one of you must stay back with her. I would advise Windy to stay back since the next adventure is going to come for air. So, the girls decided that Windy will stay with Anamia and Aqua and Fiery will go and find the flower. Then they wondered how to reach there. Just then the note became a map to reach the flower. It was a long distance so Windy made a thunder bolt. She said keep this with you anytime you must go somewhere tap this twice and it will take you there be careful and take care of yourself. They took the thunderbolt and said thanks Windy will be safe and take care of Anamia. So, they left they first had to go to chocolate land take some hot chocolate and go to marshmallow land and get a pot made from it. Next, they must go to gems land and collect some gems and decorate the pot next, they must go to Puranam and get the flower and put it in the pot and give it to Anamia. So, the girls started and reached chocolate land. They went to the pound full of hot chocolate. Then Fiery made a small watering can and filled it up with hot chocolate. Next, they went to Marshmallow land and got a pot which was made out of marshmallow and filled the hot chocolate in it. Next, they went to gem land, took some gems and decorated the pot. Next, they went to Puranam, took the flower and placed it in the pot. Just then a note said in another 5 seconds if you don’t take the flower back it will die. So, they used Windy’s thunderbolt and made it back. They gave the flower to Anamia and Anamia became normal. Then she walked on the bad soil, and everything became normal. They decided to go back and continue this Tomorow night. So, they went back and slept. Chapter-6 The next morning, they woke up tired. They went to breakfast. They saw that their mother was struggling to set a fire to cook. They tried to help their mother by making Fiery blow a Fire and Windy to try and stop the wind. Both tried their best, but it did not work. So, they went to a restaurant and had breakfast. They also tried it for lunch, but it did not work. They tried to go to a restaurant, but all were closed so they had to use storage food which tasted a bit old, but they all ate it happily but for dinner they had nothing. They all went to bed early that day, so they thought after this adventure they could celebrate a bit and meet their friends there. So, they went to the magical world to solve the last adventure. When they reached it, they saw it was the same thing there. They saw the note on a tree it was about to fly when Windy flew in the air and caught it, it said that they all had to go and please the god of thunder to give the most powerful thunderbolt named thundress and give it too Windy so that she can use it and stop the air bye and see you later. Then they went to please the god. They had already met him. He liked Aqua the most, so they decided that she should ask. Then when they reached, Aqua went to him and asked “Oh lord you are so powerful please grant me one wish out of the two wishes that you promised to give that time. Please grant me the thundress to help the world and you. We promise that we will use it in the right way. The god was not so pleased and said Aqua to complete your wish you must go and get the blue flower for me. She said yes, I will. She set off to get the flower, it was in river Srivani. She went there when she was about to get the flower when a person stopped her and said I protect the flower who are you. I am Aqua. I am here to complete a mission. She was about to explain about the mission when he challenged a battle. They both fought equally but it felt like Aqua was winning. They fought a lot. After some time, Aqua got fed up and made a swirl that nobody could escape. The man was about to drown but she saved him. When she went to get some medicine, the man changed into the flower. Now she understood that it was a test to see if it was worth giving the thundress to them and she had proved that it was worth it. So, she went and gave it to the god. He was pleased and said all of you will be good and healthy. Here is the Thunderess. Keep it safe. So, they came back to the city. Windy dashed the thunderess as she chanted glee glee glim. Suddenly the wind stopped, and everything became normal. Then they gathered the 4 objects that represent them and joined them together and made a staff. Next, they made a small hut. Made a mat and put the staff on it and said you all if you get a problem take the staff and tap it 2 times all the problems will vanish. Goodbye and keep it safe. So, all left and lived happily ever after.
Haunted By:Arjun Pedasingu PYP 5c CHAPTER 1 - SOCCER It was an ordinary school day. Arjun, Rishith, Sathvik, Chitransh and Sanjith challenged the 8th grade to soccer match. They played like tough cheetahs; they were scoring goals alternately. There was no time left, Sanjith dribbles through everyone he megs through the opponent and takes a shot but misses it. The bell rang and break was over, it was a tie, no one won the match. Rishith was exasperated with the way their team played in today's soccer match, while they were so happy that they were able to compete with our opponents, he started shouting at them because they were not passing and playing. Arjun and Chitransh just ignored him. Sathvik and Sanjith were shouting back at him. Our teacher distracted us as she knew that they were going to fight, so she said “children it's time for music class. Form a line and start moving. We were all arguing on the way to the music room. They picked guitar as their instrument for music class, so they five went to the guitar room. CHAPTER 2 - SCARED They were taking our guitar lessons. They were revising the chords and trying to play them without any gap. Suddenly the power went off. Chitransh gasped. Rishith crawled onto Chitransh’s back and jerked as well as said “boo.” He squeaked. Our teacher told us to take a ten-minute break and go to check the internet in some other room for our class to get power. Everyone asked Arjun to tell a horror story. He begins to tell a story. Arjun was telling a story called Ouija. He came to a scary seen were there was a black hooded man that appears and at the same time the doors start to bang. Everyone was scared so they cuddled up. Rishith peeked out of the window and saw a black hooded man waving at him. He screamed so loud that all the others screamed too. He shouted, “I SAW SOMEONE NEAR THE WINDOW. SOMTHING IS WRONG.” They all peeked through the window, but they did not see anyone. dhu dhu dhu.” the door started to bang. Rishith said, “I told you guys something is wrong.” they turned back towards the window and saw the black hooded man now. They were so scared. Chitransh started whining. They ran out so fast they could not see themselves. They ran to their teacher and told him everything that happened.
CHAPTER 3 - SEARCH They searched the whole school in their free play period, but they did not find a black hooded man. So, the next day they had a plan to ask their seniors if something happened to them in 5th grade in guitar class. They asked 3 sections in grade 6. They went to ask the last section. Grade 6d said yes. They said it was a prank by the vocal students. They started investigating the vocal students one by one, but they got nothing. Then they started investigating keyboard students, but they still got nothing. Chitransh started thinking they were all hallucinating. They were checking the CCTV cameras. They noticed that Sanjith was not there in the room, they checked where Sanjith was going, at last they saw Sanjith wearing the hood and cloak. They were so angry at the same time, satisfied and happy as Sanjith was not with them. They ran to their class teacher and talked about Sanjith. Moral – never try to do anything to anyone and tell lies that it was not you.
The Adventures of Rody By:Arjun Rawat PYP 5C Story - Chapter 1: Rody and Eric’s jump into the land of magic Rody was a boy who was curious and adventurous. His best friend’s name was Eric. Eric is a very smart person and knew everything about nature. Eric is also a good friend to Rody since they think alike. One day they decided to go on a walk in the forest. When they went into the forest they saw many things like diverse types of plants, Birds, Insects, and a lot more. When they got back home, they were very tired, so Eric decided to sleep in Rody’s house. They woke up and they were in the forest. They were thinking how did they end up in the forest? But there was something different about the forest. The forest looked like one of the forests in fantasy books, but all they wanted was to go back home. Until they heard a huge scream for help. They followed the sound and found a baby Dragon being chased by a massive Ogre, so Rody picked up the Baby Dragon and they started running away from the Ogre. They were able to hide inside a cave so the Ogre could not get them. After they calmed down the Baby Dragon began to talk. The Baby Dragon said his name was Blaze. Rody and Eric asked Blaze where they were. Blaze told them they were in the land of magic. Chapter 2 - The Land of Magic Blaze told them that he was one of the last fire dragons, so every single creature in the land of magic is trying to hunt the last fire dragons that is why the ogre was chasing him. They said that they will protect him from people who are trying to hunt Blaze. Rody and Eric became friends with Blaze, and he told them he could get them back home. But the problem was they needed to get one of the most Sacred scrolls in the entire land of magic, so they embraced on their journey. Blaze told them one more person is trying to get the scroll. Her name is Cordelia. But most creatures call her the “The Witch of Darkness.” Rody asked why Cordelia wants the Sacred scroll? Blaze told them that if she combined the Scroll with her Dark Magic, she could destroy all the nine realms with her Magic. So, we must get the scroll before her or everyone is in danger. Chapter 3 – The Sacred Scroll After a lot of travelling, they finally found the Sacred scroll. Rody picked it up and immediately turned into a being with infinite power. Although they thought they won Blaze sighed. He said the sacred scroll was not the scroll Cordelia wanted she wanted the Scroll of Darkness. Blaze said now that they could go back to their home, but they said “No” They would first help Blaze stop Cordelia and Blaze thanked them. Rody made a ship with his powers and made it fly with his magic so now they were right in front of Cordelia. Chapter 5 – The Epic Batlle Rody and Cordelia and began fighting their magic shook the 9 realms. Meanwhile Eric and Blaze were fighting the evil creatures Cordelia created. But in the end Rody lost but Cordelia took him to a place called the Realm of nothingness and offered him to rule the 9 realms with her, but he said no so she took him back and when he was about to kill him blaze took the scroll and became a giant dragon. Blaze blasted an omnipotent beam which destroyed Cordelia immediately and Rody and Eric said thank you to Blaze and Blaze sent them back to Earth. They woke up again and thought was it a dream?
The Gold Quest: Wrath of the Death Ninjas By:Chithransh. S Shamanna PYP 5C CHAPTER 1: TYLER AND HIS BACKROUND: It was a starry night in Sydney, Australia. As the morning light grew a baby boy was to be born. This boy's name was Tyler, ten years later the boy was already a black belt in martial arts. This world was full of quests, animals live in this world. Some say the quests were to defeat a water monster or fiery fire goblin, it was crazy, if a person finishes a quest, the quest will be reborn for the next person. The year was 2075, when you are born, the master of the universe keeps track on how many quests you succeed in, and how many you fail. If you succeed in a quest, you earn a point, and if you lose a lose you will lose a point. When you die you get to stay in heaven for the number of years for the number of quests you won. Also, when you die, you must stay in hell for the number of years for the number of quests you lost. As he became older. He was 20 he could destroy trees with his bare hands, now Tyler was in his thirties he was a world champion in all the martial arts, and he his mouth didn’t look so good because when he was young he used to remember that all his friends used to mock him and tease him because his mouth was crooked. That’s why he always remembered to specifically keep a ninja mask, even when he’s with his mom, and I forgot to mention he had an eye disease, so the doctor had recommended keeping a pair of cool shades before his eyes. One day Tyler came back heavy and lost, sleepy it was almost like around half past ten, his mom had already a left a reminder to sound because mom would come and serve him food, the alarm rang loudly with an ear screeching noise which woke his mom. She came hurriedly with half an eye closed and the other one open. She looked weary,” son why did you come so late, at least you could have informed me and gone" said his mom slowly, “I was too busy teaching some advanced moves of martial arts to teens”, “well come have some food”. Tyler ate his food quickly and went to bed. Tyler had fought and won 20 quests and has lost 2 quests. His mom was old, so she won 47 quests and lost 10 quests. Tyler happened to have a friend who was a cat named Olivia. She too was like Tyler but was a cat. CHAPTER 2: THE CHALLENGE AND THE HUNT FOR TEAMATES: The next day arose; Tyler woke with a sudden start wondering if anything has happened, well to his thought nothing happened, but he still had this thought in his mind fluttering around will the Ninjas take over Australia? He came down from his room to ask his mom a question. He asked slowly “Mom is it true that the Ninjas will take over Australia after they’re done with the 99th quest “, “well the 99th quest is impossible to do”, and nobody has ever done it before she chuckled
sheepishly”. "I was worried you would do anything to save our country and I was worried you would get hurt" said Mom scarily. “Mom I'm not a little kid anymore’ said Ty patriotically,” I'm starting Tomorrow no matter what said ty again without a sound his mom didn't say anything. Tyler woke with a start the next morning he packed and planned everything beforehand who are the teammates he’s going to need and where are the ninjas. He first needed to go to Olivia house because she knows and's incredibly good at karate, fighting. and being a samurai. He drove slowly to Melbourne it was a long drive though, after an extraordinarily long time he reached, he slowly knocked the door she opened it they both greeted each other with a hug. She asked, “what the matter is”, “you know what I was of afraid of yes” so, “it's that thing” he said nervously “I’m gathering a group of animals and people to stop these death ninjas” he said again. “Well then let us get going”, she said excitedly”. Both hoped in the car and, “now we must go to Keanu’s place”, he said, searching for the map in the car,” hurry lets go” Olivia rushed. Tyler rushed his car to Adalaide they reached in about an hour, “huff”, “that was long,” said Olivia. Keanu was a wizard and fascinates his ability in magic he wasn't so dark, in fact he was a peacock he knew all the spells and tricks to cure and kill. They knocked on his old shaft loudly since he was a little deaf, he opened it carefully and asked darkly “what's the problem. His voice was a little dark.” "You know what happened”, it's about them”, said Tyler. “We’re gathering a group of people to defeat them”, “so are you in” asked Olivia patiently, “yes, I'm in” said Keanu come on “let's get going,” said Ty. All of them hoped in the car, “now we must go to Marcel’s place” told Olivia, “Which is Queensland”. It took almost 4 hours to reach. Meanwhile in the car drive they had to complete a quest on the way to Queensland, that was to defeat a sea monster to get to the other side, Keanu picked up his wand and said “yuce slic” and that monster was right there, and it was decapitated by the head and fell on the floor suddenly. “I was a thinking a more nonviolent way” said Tyler slowly, “all right gang we have reached Marcels place”, said Tyler in a valiant way. Marcel was a shark; he could do both walking with his tail and swimming with his fins underwater. His house was shaped like a rectangle which was tilted by the side, the weather was a little gloomy as it was already half past 7. Tyler typically knocked on the door, Marcel said “come in” with a grunt, he said with a very dark voice. All of them came inside his monstrosity of a house. Tyler said, “you know what I was worried about”, “it is about that,” he jumped at the sight of those words and said “Well then what are you waiting for”, “come on mate let us get going”, all of them hoped in the car, and Tyler started to drive to the next person's place. Everybody had a distinct style as they all always remembered to keep a pair of shades on top of their faces since they needed to look dashy and cool between their enemies and hostages, people.
They had finally reached Martin’s house, Tyler knocked on the door very loudly because Martin was deaf. All of them were in Queensland right now, Martin was a dog, he was exceptionally good with guns and a little bit about fighting. Martin opened the door suddenly and said "what's the matter" he said quickly, “well it is that thing that I was worried about” Tyler replied. “If that is the case”, “then let us get going”, now they had one more person in Tyler’s car. “Now we have one last person we must go to Dwayne's house which right now is in Canberra”, “and it will take us at least 5 hours to reach”, said Olivia sarcastically. It was a long ride to Canberra; everybody was bored stiff till they reached it. Finally, after a long time they reached Canberra. Dwayne’s house was inside the city center, so it took another 10 minutes to reach, Tyler knocked on the door gently, Dwayne’s house was as big as a mansion he was very rich in fact, Dwayne opened the big door gently and asked “what happened” in the formal British way, Tyler said “you know what I was worried about” hardly, and he said “okay fine let's get going then”. Now they had one more person in the 8-seater car. Dwayne was a monkey who liked to show off his skills and how rich he was. CHAPTER 3: THE ULTIMATE PLAN: The death ninjas lived in a big cave in Capricorn and that is where their secret hideout was, and nobody ever visited, because the death ninjas usually kidnapped whoever was there and make ask them questions about what happens in the real world and leave them or let them get away. Whoever gets cocky and refuses to answer, the outside world would lose a huge monument and they would kill one of the cricket players in Australia, because their country was an enormous success in that sport. The government had built a huge electric fence around the Capricorn cave and a door from the inside which only they could open, the wall was 9 feet thick, nobody could get through the wall, and even if they wanted to, they needed to have a special pass from the prime minister himself to enter the cave where the death ninjas resided. Three people in Australia who have a special pass are Pat Cummins, Anthony Albanese and Gina Rinehart. Tyler had it all planned out now to get a special pass from the three people who could enter the Capricorn cave where the Ninjas existed. Tyler and his people were in his secret old base in the tropic of Capricorn which was underground. They had all the weapons, top training facilities in the world, AI one on one fighting and the Guns which they need to defeat all those anomalies out there. It was almost a fortnight before they had started the finding of people. Tyler had woken with start thinking about his mates becoming loyal to the ninjas and they would turn on him with the ninjas in his old base in Capricorn. Olivia was already awake; she was practicing with the AI module fighting training, once she came out Tyler was standing outside with an A4 parchment rolled up in his hands. Olivia asked, “what's all this for”, Tyler said nothing for 5 seconds and then he said, “call everyone only then”. Olivia rushed to wake up everyone Everyone came to the main practice hall, Tyler then opened his chart and started to tell, “so guys this the final plan what we are going to do to get the special pass”, “first just to make sure how the ninjas are”, “the ninjas use this technique called as Usagi”, “it's when you use hypnotization to trick them into following whatever the ninjas tell them” “and they could only do it for five minutes”, “the Ninjas have done it many times and have gotten a pitch black eye”. ‘Guys now we must really
focus on this point”, “the person we’re going to get our special pass is the prime minister himself “, “so what I’m going to do is convince him to do it. “We have our meeting scheduled at 8:30 sharp”. “Our main idea is to hypnotize into convincing him to give our special pass”, “I know there would be”, “some heavy force armed guard's protecting him so I want Keanu positioned inside”, “you have to use the invisibility charm to station yourself behind the curtains”, “and I will give you a signal for you to disable the guard’s and drop those heavy guns on their heads”. “At that time, you will have 3 seconds to start your magic”, “and then I will start the hypnotization”. “Keanu”, said Tyler, “after I'm done the hypnotization”, “you put the guard’s back where they were standing before and then put a memory charm on them so that or they don’t remember anything for at least for an hour”, “after that you should put a dehypno charm on the prime minister so that he gets back to normal”, “we all exit”, “I want you all to act normal including Keanu.” “BTW (by the way) remember to be ready at 6:00”, “cause it’s a long drive to the Prime minister TS (top secret) place”. They all left early since they had some work to do to get the special pass. It was an exceptionally long drive, and what they did in the car was practicing their positions and their actions. When they reached, the prime minister greeted them very formally and asked them to come in to talk, only Tyler went inside to talk, and Keanu was using invisibility charm when he too went inside, the plan had just begun. Tyler was now inside talking about the situation, while Keanu was stationed inside the rooftop where Ty and the prime minister were talking, with an invisible charm. Few minutes later Tyler gave an immersive hand signal to Keanu who was invisible behind a plant, Tyler started to do his hypnotization, while Keanu with his magical wand he appeared out of the curtains, and muttered something, and then knocked out the guards by dropping down the heavy guns at them, next Tyler asked the “Minister, please give me your special pass to enter Capricorns cave”, he gave it unknowingly gave the special pass to him with all the other documents which were signed by him. Then Tyler left, moments later he left, Keanu put a dehypno charm on the minister, and he too left the rooftop to come down. CHAPTER: 4: THE MISSILE: After some time, they returned to the Base to revise their plan, all of them gathered around the meeting table, after everyone had come over to the table. Tyler opened his mouth, and said that;” Now everybody listens carefully”, “we all know that the ninjas will be hiding something up their sleeve”, mostly we would have hostiles waiting for them to be rescued”, “they may threaten us so we must be ready to face them which they charge us with they may put up force fields around them so even if the”... The red alarm rang loudly with an ear-piercing noise, and that could mean only one thing Australia’s in danger, whenever this alarm is signaled that means some criminal breakout or someone being kidnapped, there are two types of sounds, The loud ear-piercing one and the Squeaky screeching and this is if anything or someone came inside Australia. They had to hurry since something was happening at Canberra, which is the capital, and which was extremely near to their Base, so they had to rush. Tyler grabbed his ninja equipment and gear which he needed and for his team, all of them were rushing towards the back door, which is on the other side of the Cave. Their Cave was positioned at the start of a huge when other tourists enter, or any other people come inside the cave, the entrance would be too narrow for
them to enter. When Tyler or any other teammates came inside there was voice recognition, which could be opened from their voices. As they rushed out in their jeep to the Big city, on their way they could see all the humans and animals were living in peace, everything seemed perfectly normal. It was a false alarm, nothing had happened, Tyler asked everyone if everybody was there, Olivia said Martin is missing swiftly, and Tyler asked why with a bit of curiosity. He told me to tell you, but I forgot he told me to tell you that he had a drooling allergy, so he had to put some medicines, oh I never thought he was sick, never mind let's get going, false alarm people he said, and they went back to base. As they all returned to their base, everybody saw Martin lying on the bed with a handkerchief on his nose, he was a dog resting on the bed sickly. Tyler asked Martin with some sympathies how are you feeling, a bit good he replied roughly, everybody could see how sick he was it was he was almost going to die. Everybody partied all night, since it was Dwayne’s birthday, nobody slept that night, everybody complained that there were strange noises coming from Martin’s room, nobody cared about it later. Everything was going well at the party at 12 am, until a missile hit their base. Everything was gone, Olivia was unconscious, lying down on the broken bricks, Dwayne was severely hurt, his arm bleeding, Marcel coughed on the ground, and burnt his tail. Tyler rushed out to their medical supply; the missile hit them on the side of their cave, as Tyler came out with some bandages, water, he quickly rushed to Olivia’s side, he swiftly took out some bandages and put it out on her head, she had a few burn marks on her, like that he did that to everybody, they were up and running in no time. Martin had disappeared, there was no trace of him after the missile bombard, all of them thought that Marcel was sick, or he was dead, or he just disappeared. Olivia was in bed for one or two fortnights. Tyler used to visit Olivia every day, after everything calmed down. Olivia was fine and Marcel’s burn marks had been gone. Dwayne's birthday was over. Keanu was fine because he was not partying, he was practicing his spells. The missile bombard had been done 3 weeks ago and nothing had happened since then. Everybody was back in base, Tyler arranged for a meeting at 4 pm. Everybody had come to the base and Tyler had scheduled a meeting at 4:00 PM. Olivia asked, “what's happening”? “Why did you arrange a meeting”? she asked swiftly. “Yeah man why did you” asked Marcel. Tyler said. “Well,”, “you'll get to know first”, “Listen to the plan”, “I think something fishy is happening with Martin”. “He seems so weird all the time "he said as he lowered his voice. “Guys”, “I think Martin is going to turn on us and he's on the death ninja’s side”, “what makes you think that’, said Olivia, “can't you see that he's acting so weird lately?” “I think he's acting a lot”, “and I hope you guys found out by now”. I don't see why he's guilty, “I mean”, “like his disappearance”, “did you guys even see that”?
Guys, we need to be prepared for anything, even if Martin turns on us said Tyler in a brave way, Keanu said “I’ll show him the true power of the gold quest, nobody knows what the Gold Quest is about”, “even if they have all the spells in the world”,” they can't finish a single quest”. “Legend says whoever reaches the 99th quest and wants to finish the 100th quest”, “they can't because they need to be worthy of finishing the Golden quest. “So, here's the plan”, “I need Keanu to first put a Memory Charm on Martin so that he forgets everything when we get there”, “and, even when the Death ninjas show a show Martin like he's on our side”, “then he would turn on us and they would use the Usagi on Martin”, “they can't because we would have put a memory charm on him by then”. “Next, I want Olivia to take on one of the ninjas and try to fight them. I know they might be hard to fight, but you must try your best”. “Dwayne and Marcel take on the other Death ninja, while I take on the main one, and Martin”. Everybody was brave and calm. They knew that nothing would go wrong in the fight. As the sun grew, Tyler was practicing his moves against the Death ninjas and what he had to do, everybody was listening to him, he had woken them up at 4:00 AM to do some practice. By the time it was 6:00 AM, they were up and running, it looked like nothing could stop them. Tyler planned to go the Death ninjas base at dusk, evening. It was already evening by the time they knew it. Tyler and his team were pumped up to face the Death ninjas, they were all ready to face them. CHAPTER 5: THE BIG FIGHT – Tyler said,” come on guys let's get going”, as they left, they took some weapons with them, they reached in no time. Tyler took out, took out his. Special powers which Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister himself, gave him, from a hypnotization. There was a big door with a special pass opener in front of them. The door was five feet thick. Tyler took out the special pass and said,” Well, there's only one way to do this”, and he put the special pass in, and the voice inside the gate said come in, the gates opened, at the same time the big door opened. The whole gang went inside the door, they were all shocked in awe, as they saw how neat the caves were, it was as if there was no one living inside the caves, but to their sight they saw that a death ninja was on top of the cave, he was in his stance, Tyler said, “Now we have a little death ninja over here”, well let me tell you something,” you can't go kidnapping people like that, and destroy the world”, “now, now, do we have ourselves little Tyler and his puny little people”, said the other Ninja, he had a very dark voice. “Come and fight us if you have the guts to”, said Tyler, now came another death ninja saying, “, well, we couldn't help it, we just want power, “and we can't finish the gold quest and you just led us do it. Martin came walking with a smirk on his face and said,” guys sorry, but I was working with them the whole time and you guys didn't even notice”. Then Tyler said, “Oh, we did, and that's why we came prepared”.
Marcel in rage took out his HP 5000 and blasted it on all death ninjas faces, the death ninjas not so reflexive couldn't block the shots, it hit them, which uncovered a big truth! All of them gasped in awe in amazement, the truth was that the death ninjas were robots and there were three small figures inside the robot running it. Tyler was thinking that, all this while the death ninjas were some small figures who were running AI robots. After that Martin begged for forgiveness and he will never do this again and turn on them, for his sorry Tyler demanded that he should go to Jail for all the crimes he’s ever committed, and as for the Death ninjas they were sent to a remote jail island which is on another planet, which is top secret. Tyler and his people were awarded the Australian act of heroism, now Tyler and his mates were known all over Australia, everybody was now living in peace with no more distractions. To be Continued
The missing bag By:Harsha Bandanadam PYP 5C -------------CHAPTER-ONE----------- Once again it was a boring day at school. I had recently moved to this school because my parents saw “good ratings” on my school’s website. My school’s name was along the lines of “Great Miami.” Currently we were in the 3rd period which was Mathematics. I hated Math because it was so hard, especially in 6th Grade. The only thing I liked about math was that a few of the questions were easy to solve. As I mentioned earlier, I was new to this school, and it had been around 3-4 weeks since I joined, and since I was new I had only a few friends. The only thing I liked about my new school was that we had P.E (Physical Education), and before I knew it the bell rang, and our next period was Arts, I took my art supplies and my swimming bag, I took my swimming bag since it was P.E after arts, and we were instructed to go directly to the ground after class. I just wasted my time doing the border and adding a few details to it. Once again, the bell rang, and it was P.E! ------------CHAPTER-TWO------------ Finally, P.E! I could show everyone how good I was at swimming! I took my swimming bag and raced off to the swimming pool (200ftx50ft). I quickly changed into my swimming clothes and dove into the pool. It was so much fun since I was so good at swimming, I just practiced backstrokes and butterfly stroke. After that I just did some laps in the pool. The teacher said that time was up. after another hour or so. I decided to head out early, since It was LUNCHHHHH! I got out of the pool and went to the changing rooms. I changed my clothes back into the school uniform and headed for lunch. While eating my lunch, I felt something was off, but nothing was coming to me, then I realized I left my bag at the pool, but I didn’t worry since it was just a quick trip to the pool and then off to class. ------------Chapter-Three ----------- After lunch I went to the pool to find my bag wasn’t there, I looked everywhere, and I even asked the teacher, but she said that “she didn’t know where it was.” I gave the description “Its Blue, cylinder shaped, has the name J Halland, and has two leather straps” to my teacher, she answered once again that she didn’t know where it was. I came back to class feeling defeated, because I hadn’t found my bag yet. I decided to make a sign on the noticeboard, which you could see upon entering the school, so that everyone could help me find it. I had also asked my hrt to help me find my bag, she said “I will help you find it, but it’s going to take a long time”, I replied with “I’m fine with how long it takes I just want it back”, me and my teacher had a little chuckle and went back to our work. After I came back home and told my parents about the news, they got very mad (they’re strict) because I lost the bag. I said that I would go tomorrow and find it. After that conversation, I just completed some pending tasks and my homework. ---------Chapter-Four----------- It was the next day, and I had Various thoughts about where it could be, I was thinking about the bag all night. First, I went to the pool to check if it had fallen in the pool, or if it was in one of the changing lockers. It wasn’t there in either place, so I decided to check in the school cafeteria, it wasn’t there either. I was starting to get a little worried, because I didn't want my parents to scold me! The only option left that could come to my mind was checking the cctv cameras. I asked my teacher to come with me to the security room to check the cameras, and we headed off. --------Chapter-Five---------- We asked the guard to show the footage of last Friday, he skipped to that day, and we asked him if he could check the swimming pool cameras between the time periods “11:00-11:50 AM.” I saw myself walking to the changing lockers and when I came out, I put my bag against the door and went to play with some of my friends. After, I just left with my friends for the school cafeteria. We saw a janitor take my bag to the lost and found, located near the swimming pool and keep it in a
sort of small locker. She locked the small locker and left. We asked the janitor for the keys to the locker, she said that. She gave it to the swimming teacher. We went to the swimming teacher, and she said that she had some sort of key, and she gave it to us, and we went to the locker. We found not only my swimming bag, but a watch, a pen, and (the weirdest of them all) a Toy Train. This was so weird since we had only seen one of these items being put in this locker, whatever I was just happy that I got my bag back! The End
THE GHOST OF OAKRIDGE RETURNS By:ISHANI BASU PYP 5C As we remember, even though it was a long time ago, the ghost of Oakridge left but soon came back again. As we all know this ghost comes alive when it enters people’s bodies. This time it chose a regular old girl, named Ahana, my best friend. We were going to watch the football match interschool, ours vs Inventure academy, it was a home match. Before the match began the spirit onside her decided to use her body. She broke out before the match even started. Terrorized the players of inventure started running everywhere. We gathered them when she also started aiming for us. The away team was stuck in the auditorium, while we were stuck in our respective classrooms. Still in the auditorium, the away team were petrified, wishing they could run to their bus. Suddenly out of nowhere a huge arm burst down the door trying to drag out the kids, while this was happening, me and a few friends were running, risking our lives to protect the opposing football team, the teachers and everyone in our school. When we arrived the nearest kid to the auditorium door was caught by her. We were climbing up the stairs when this happened, and at that second everyone became statues, everything turned black and white except ourselves. Some of us were in shock, but my friend snapped us out of it, and we ran up. When we reached using all our might we set up a fight with the monster. During this epic fight the monster let out an enormous roar that shook the whole building. There were 5 of us there, because of the roar Anjana and Tia were paralyzed. When it happened, we were surprised. With more might our anger made us stronger. But then it gave Inayaat a huge blow in her stomach which doubled her up in pain, with what strength she had, she gathered it and said very weakly “go and finish the ghost, bring our friend back to normal.’’ Then she collapsed. Then our motivation grew higher. But then it gave me a pushed me so hard I froze, now it was all up to Yashna. Regardless of her size she recalled all her happy memories with Ahana and all of us. These memories got us out all at once and Yashna floated into the sky a protection layer of fire around her. Suddenly we all had fire hands we killed the ghost inside her and brought Ahana back to her jolly old self. Then all the elements of earth and space changed the color of the layer and it brought everything back to life. Along with our hands everything was back to normal, and we played the football match, and we won it and thanks to that everything was back to normal. Well, my friends I shall tell you more with another exciting story.
The girl who loved badminton By: Maya Ketkar PYP 5C Chapter 1 Once there was a girl who loved badminton. Her name is Aditi. When Aditi was born her mother used to play badminton. Her summer break was coming soon so she told her mother that she wanted to try badminton and her mother said yes. Then the next morning at 4:00 am she got up go to the bus stop, then she reached the place she told the coach that she wanted to join but the coach said the batch was full. So, her mother found a badminton racket and started to play. Chapter 2 Then a person came and spoke to her mother and asked if she was in a batch. The mother said no. So, the person said “hello I am a sir in this academy. What is your name, Aditi, Aditi Mudholkar. Aditi was so happy she got to train for the next 5 weeks she got up go to the bus stop, then she reached and did her class and after her summer break she went to school after her class. After 7 weeks a tournament came, and Aditi went for it. She went for under 10,11,12.13, and 14 and she was 9 years and she beat so all people in 10,11,12,13 but one person was left but she lost 20 to 21 she was disappointed with her defeat, but her parents were very proud.
The strong four By:Neel murthy PYP :5c Once upon a time there was a boy named peter, his family and he had gone out to eat dinner they were there for almost two hours, but when they were going into the car a random person was following peter and he was almost about to grab peter, and his family had taken him. And that stranger had got in so angry, then he started to build all sorts of inventions, to find that boy he built a army of robots to search for them and they’ve been trying to find him from 5 years. And peter and his friends, are on the charge of finding him. Okay guys said, peter. I've come up with a new plan since we can’t find this joker I have a better plan, we are going to stay up till 2 o’clock so during that time peter and his friends went but there was no sign of the joker then suddenly a voice came, so you are the boy named peter who’s that? Said peter, I am the joker and I have come to finish you and it’s time for the final battle. Just as soon has the joker left peter and his friends got teleported to a place, and the joker said let’s see who’s stronger it took almost 20 minutes the battle, but peter and his friends defeated the joker and there was a party on the next day to celebrate how they defeated the joker.

This city was famous because a phoenix is protecting the city. But the citizens thought that the phoenix was destroying the city because it would always accidently destroy the city while fighting against monsters. The Greek people formed an alliance of warriors called the “sotíres tis Elládas” (The Saviors of Greece). The so called “Saviors of Greece” started mercilessly attacking the phoenix with swords, spears, ballistas, and any other weapon they had, but they underestimated the phoenix because he did not even feel a scratch. He did not even hurt a single person in the whole fight! The phoenix was getting tired of all this hatred. But he understood why the humans are afraid of him, so he flew to the city center and tried to communicate with some of the humans.” Mortal beings, please understand that I am not here to hurt you. In fact, I am here to save you all from future threats that could destroy you and your city.” The phoenix said. One of the many humans stood up with no fear and said, “I understand what you said, but when you do save us from the dangers, you wreck our city and leave it in ashes. That is why we are trying to terminate you. If you would be so considerate to not destroy our city when you save us, we would be immensely grateful.” So it was, they all agreed, and the city was prosperous, until a dragon came and somehow defeated the phoenix and threw him away. The city was in ashes, and this all became a story. Some people have spotted the phoenix in Greece. They say it takes the form of chicken in the daylight and a phoenix in the night. That probably not true right?
I want to be with you Ria Sharma PYP5C Once there were 2 girls, one was named Lori & the other was jury. They were the best of friends. One day Jury asked Lori " I wonder how we met?" Lori said went to school, they tried to switch sections but when they switched both swapped sections! After a few days, their parents called the kids coordinator and asked if they could be in the same section, the coordinator said yes for the kids to be in the same section. After that, the kids were studying extremely hard for their first test ever! Lori and Jury asked everyone if they were happy today, yesterday, and every day, if they were not Lori and Jury would make them happy! That is how they spent the rest of the year

They were known for their development, it was built near the ocean, it was majestic, and it had been named after the Greek titan Atlas. For many years thing were going well for this city it was having 10 cities in it, each being known for one thing every king used worship Atlas it was like this for many years, but then once there was a king who wouldn’t take blame for any thing he did, which resulted in destruction or chaos. Once The queen was going around the town in her carriage near the mine where the miners where digging out gold for the new throne, there the queen’s carriage got stuck in a pothole and there was a slight earthquake and then a land slide at the exact spot, which buried the mine and everyone near or in it, after the king found out, he was heartbroken. He blamed the tragedy on Atlas. So he ordered every person in Atlantis to stop worshiping him and if anyone worshiped him they would be executed. The gods where furious! This continued for a few years. Then it was end of time for Atlantis. The following month there was a huge earthquake that ruptured the land, then there was a tornado destroying the building, then there was a lightning which caused a fire and burned everything by now Atlantis was a wasteland, then the ocean ate Atlantis leaving nothing left related to Atlantis.

However, at his birthday celebration, he was unexpectedly removed from the under-12 football team due to a concealed ankle injury. He had been limping for the past few days, which explained his absence from several matches. Fast forward a few years, John Cena, now 19, was preparing for WWE qualifiers. Making it to the finals, the match unfolded with the opponent quickly scoring 10 points. However, Cena made a comeback with 15 points, creating an intense competition. As the last minute of the match approached, the scores were tied. In a pivotal moment, Cena delivered a powerful hit to his opponent's face, causing them to go down. 3, 2, 1… ding ding ding! John Cena emerges victorious, securing a spot in the WWE World Championships. What an incredible journey for the young man, once rejected from a football team at the age of 12, and now the youngest contender in the WWE world championships. Returning home after the finals, Cena was greeted with a surprise party from his entire family, marking the first time they had all been together in six years. I'm just a random girl who likes to study, listen to music and be alone and no one knows the real me so people will laugh at me so I’m just gone wear pants. Whatever you say Misha but i think what you were trying to say is that you're a nerd. Don’t say that out loud stephanie!!Okay says Stephanie giggling. As Misha and Stephanie were walking to their classroom all everyone was talking about was this field trip. Are we going to the makeup museum yelled Stephanie. No Misha said were going to the dinosaur museum the biggest fossils are kept in that museum I’m so excited to go!!Later in class Misha whispered to stephanie yeah now i know why you called me a nerd. The next day the teacher Mrs.Budwhite confirmed that there will be a field trip in the dinosaur museum. Misha shrieked with joy. However, Stephanie groaned in sadness as if she was going to die! After hearing this amazing news Misha ran to her locker and she was packing her bag for the field trip when it wasn't even the day of the field trip. After Stephanie was done with her makeup btw she did it secretly. Stephanie asked Misha why she was already packing her bag four days away from the actual field trip!After Stephanie left someone came behind Misha.Hi looks like you're excited for the field trip Misha got startled.Oh!Hi leo you scared me.Sorry i didn't mean to but anyways will you be my partner for the field trip.Sorry Misha said im already with Stephanie.But we can have a group of four people so i was thinking you,me,Stephanie,and maybe Britney…Misha paused wait like bratty Britney as in your sister?! Yeah leo said.Misha said i can put up with her but Stephanie will rather die she hates Britney.Suddenly Stephanie barged in and asked why misha didn't come with her.Then she saw leo and she screamed WHAT DO YOU WANT!!Misha soon explained everything to stephanie and then she calmed down but then…she was in complete shock when misha said britney was joining.Stephanie yelled no not her she is the most brattiest girl in the whole world she's even more brattier than me.and she's so annoying no one likes her here and no one will i won't be in her vaccinity even if it means i'm not in your group!?Stephanie stormed off misha giggled nervously yeah that's what happens when you talk about Britney.Leo told misha that hell talk to stephanie and surprisingly a few minutes later stephanie joined still mad as ever but at least she joined.Leo!What are you doing with them? Let's go to lunch, come on!Umm Britney we all are a group is that okay with you yeah britney said then she noticed stephnie NOO im not being in her group once an enemy always an enemy.After what seemed like a hundred years of begging Britney agreed.Suddenly a girl named Evergreen barged in and no one had ever heard her talk before,she was the new kid.She never talked to anyone but today was different for her she was asking if she could be part of our group for the halloween party.Misha didn 't really care but Leo was dead serious on not letting her being part of the group either way misha didn 't care.The next day the teacher announced the field trip will be tomorrow due to the rain.Everyone was pumped because they had to postpone a test since there will be a field trip.However mish was about to cry because the test was canceled.Then Leo came asking misha what was wrong.And in tears misha told him everything.Then while wiping her tears Misha heard a laugh it was Leo laughing at her.Suddenly Misha went ballistic “ you dont understand do you?!! You always get everything handed out since your so rich.But i actually try.Leo was too stunned to speak.And broken down in tears Misha walked away.Later at lunch when stephanie noticed why misha hasn 't come she searched for her and soon after found her crying on the floor.Stephanie comforted her ad took her to lunch she never why she was crying but she just wanted to help a dear fried.Woosh!! The next day came by as quick as lightning Misha was super excited to go but the only thing was she didnt want leo to come.On the bus Misha and Leo observed that Stephanie and Britney were bonding really fast but Misha and Leo not so much.When the bus stopped to the Museum everyone looked bored except Misha.Misha was over the moon!!Then a teacher came and instructed everyone to go and explore the Museum with their groups.Once Misha got with her group she ran to go see a dinosaur
fossil.Misha felt a tug on her arm it was Leo he explained how he was sorry and Misha accepted his apology but Misha didn 't want to deal with all this she just wanted to go!After some time she found another fossil while taking a picture she found a girl who looked really young she was crying saying”don 't go in” then she ran off to her mom and dad.Misha thought it was strange but she ignored it.A few hours passed by and Misha got back with the others.They all decided to follow where that girl was crying.While they were going a random woman grabbed Leo and Misha told the woman to stop.When she stopped she grabbed Misha!Misha got out of her arms and they all began running as fast as they could but two other people stopped them at took them away.After a few hours they all woke and they found out they were tied to chairs.Misha was the first one to make up she woke everyone up and everyone looked really weak.Leo asked “ where are we?” No one knew then Britney screamed Where in a chamber!!!!Suddenly they heard a thud Stephanie tripped over a dead body they screamed and the woman and those two men came.The mysterious woman said “ oh finally you woke up” as she was talking she was sharpening a knife and suddenly Stephanie screamed..RUNNN!!!! Everyone ran for hour until there was a dead end.Leo said it was a water chamber before Leo could finish water started to rise up quickly they all went down to push the locked drain it didn 't work.When they thought nothing could work miraculously Leo pushed the drain open the water drained out quickly when they got out Stephanie was mad when Misha asked why she said her high heel chipped because of the water pressure.Everyone was looking at Stephanie in shock because they almost died.Britney was also awfully quiet because that water reminded her of something really special but she never said what.When Misha begged she finally opened up and she said “i feel my mothers presence here i dont know why and i don 't know how”Misha asked Leo if he felt the same way since they both were siblings.Britney was then caught off guard”siblings!? We are not related whatsoever but were best friends``Leo then began to chuckle nervously “hehehe yeah i just think of Britney as my little sister that's all''.``okaaay misha said in a confused yet shocked tone of voice.Oh my god!!I Can 't believe that we are not out of this disgusting,wretched,annoyingly gross place said Stephanie.Before Anyone said anything they all stared at Misha wondering why her face was so surprised.And when they looked at the direction Misha looked they were stunned.Leo then started laughing.Everyone was confused until Leo told them to come out.Immediately after one girl and two men came out.Misha noticed it was the same people that told them to see something cool in the room.The girl introduced herself as Kenzie and the two men were anonymous.Misha was at a loss of words she didn 't know what to say and neither did britney or stephanie.Leo seriously told Misha that she has to show where the gold is or else….Misha was scared tears started to come down her eyes.”noo!please don 't do this, you ' re better than this please!”Leo looked as if he was going to say yes but then he got mad and told Misha to keep walking.knock knock! The night Misha ended up telling them where the gold was and after a few more minutes of walking Misha stopped.”this is it”Leo chuckled, the gold is all mine.They were all kinds of gold,emerald,sapphire and ruby.Leo started to dance in front all of the gold he took so much and stuffed it all in bags.Just then Misha took three steps back and then the floor collapsed.Misha smiled looking at leo trying his hardest to hold on the ledge then she started to talk.”oh Leo if only you were a little smarter you would understand this gold belonged to my ancestors that means i am the heir to this gold and if you don 't know i went undercover to find you and stop you from taking what's rightfully mine.Oh and this gold is fake ''What Leo yelled its fake all this work and its fake.Misha chuckled she kicked leos hand off the ledge and all the others.Brittney hugged Misha so did stephanie.After a few minutes Stephanie wondered how they will get back Misha chuckled and she snapped her fingers.Boom! After a tiring week, she was ready to have a relaxing weekend. Let's get to know Sophia a bit more. She's a spirited teenager with a knack for adventure, always sporting a long, swaying ponytail. The one thing everyone in her town knows about her, is that she is amazing at lassoing. She stretched her arms out and looked at her clock on the bedside table. It was 9:30 AM as she had expected. She picked up her phone to look at the date. “Ahh, Saturday at last”, she sighed to herself. She peeked out of her window, thinking it would be a nice sunny day. It was the exact opposite. It was still the dead of night! Sophia couldn’t believe it. She was shocked! She ran down the stairs and swung the front door open. Everyone in her neighborhood were standing outside in confusion. Suddenly Sofia started feeling dizzy. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in the vast expanse of outer space, with a panoramic view of the solar system. The sight was breathtaking, yet something seemed amiss. Suddenly, she felt a surge of heat and spun around to see a flaming sphere hurtling towards her. She was trembling and said, “I wish something can help me get out of here!”. Out of nowhere, a flurry of small lights started shooting past her. She then realized they were shooting stars. An idea sparked in her mind. "I could hitch a ride on a shooting star!" she exclaimed. With a leap of faith, she clung onto one and was whisked away to safety. She saw the sun still moving closer to her. In a flash of inspiration, she grabbed her trusty lasso, swung it with all her might, and caught hold of the sun. Then she flung it back to the center of the solar system. “Phew!” she huffed “that was close”. The familiar “BEEP, BEEP! BEEP, BEEP!” of her alarm clock jolted her awake. She jumped out of sleep and looked around. She fumbled for her phone to check the date – It was indeed Saturday. The clock on her bedside table read “9.30 am”. She spun around to open the window and saw a bright sunny day outside. She cheered, “it’s just a DREAM!!”.
The hard-working boy achieved his goal By: Sathvik km PYP 5C Chapter 1 Once upon a time there lived a boy named Jake. His wish was to go to space. There was a space station near his small village. one day jake came out to play after some time while playing he saw a rocket which was launching, he was so happy and excited to know about rocket, after some time he went home thinking about space study he had his dinner and went to bed. He had a beautiful dream about rocketing as an Astronaut. When he woke up, he saw another rocket launching, he ran outside and started jumping with so much excitement. He got interested in studying it and becoming an astronaut, but his family did not have enough money for his studies. One day a family adopted him because they did not have children, so they adopted jake and took care of him with all his needs and wants. once Jake told his wish to his parents he want to become an astronaut they were so happy and proud , they joined him in an international school he was so happy , and the next day the he went to the school his class teacher introduce him to the class after few days later everyone became his best friends because of his intelligence, kind hearted and very focused on his studies after few years he was in 12th grade he choose science as a subject to study about astronaut he wrote an exam to become an astronaut after days he got a results but he couldn’t reach his score in the exam to continue. Chapter 2 When he came back home, he started crying so his mom suggested to him why don't you choose something else like as you wish, and she encouraged him not to become low there are many other ways to reach the goals in the life. why do not you start your own business in your choose so you can reach our goal and earn what you want, so he thought of becoming a business man , the next day after thinking overnight he got an idea and told his parents that I will start a new business so he started a hotel, after few years his business became so famous that so many people started liking his food taste, cleanness and gave him good review. He became so happy he was earning 10 lakhs per month slowly he became so richest man he could help 100 poor people in their needs gave them jobs, and he also gave them shelter so everyone became proud of him, and his family became proud of him and he was 20 years old and his parents told Jake there are many ways in the life to reach the success for each and every human but one day you might become what you want. Chapter 3 After many years of hard work, he told himself that I can do it after a day he went to the exam and finished his exam he waited for his results after weeks he got his results, he 1qualifed to the next round he was so happy that he qualified he came to his mom and told his parents that I qualified to the next round his parents his parents were happy of him. A few weeks after his final exam came, he was so nervous he did the exam and came back home then he got his results and he qualified. He was so happy and excited to be in the astronaut team. After years of hard work, he achieved his goal after working as an astronaut he got a chance to go the to another space station which is NASA he had a lot of joy in his face, and he was working there for several years and successfully got a chance to go to space. When he got the chance to go to the space with all his friends and he also forget that he was the main caption and he had to carry his team on his shoulders he was always waiting for this moment so he can go to space and see what is there like the planets and the galaxy he was happy and excited to go to the space and look what is there with his team and enjoy the space nature after he went there the next day when he reached NASA space station an got on the rocket and there was 10 seconds for takeoff he was nervous when it was taking off after it toke off he felt relaxing after when reached their after days he saw space the first time and enjoyed it.
Berk By: Smyra Singh PYP 5C One fine sunny morning some Vikings were out fishing. They were from a different and oddly shaped island called Berk. There was a very systematic and disciplined way of doing things here such as – 1 boat had two women and one man. The man’s job was to put the several types of fish into the different barrels and the woman’s job was to catch the fish. They all sang a song while fishing too! It went like this - There once was a ship that put to sea, The name of the ship was Billy O’ Tea, The winds blew up, her bow dipped down, Oh blow, my bully boys blow {huh}… After the fishing, they cooked the fish and many other dishes and laid it out in a large hall. Tonight was a full moon night, which is why as per their calendar it was Viking Night. This is an incredibly special night for Vikings as this was the day that the Vikings came to life. They also have a lot of singing and dancing along with jokes and laughter, and they basically had a lot of fun (and food!). Before even 15 minutes the whole town came into the hall. First the chief, Stoick the Victorious, Announced the beginning of spring. 7 children were born so the families came to the Stoick to take his blessing. A man called Alfie the Adventurous had died during one of his adventures to a place called Hazard Island too. This island had earned its name. Why? Well, it was believed that there were poisonous plants such as, Tangle Vines, Death Traps, Venomous Seaweed, Sea Shockers etc. So, all the Vikings paid their respect and then started to eat. After the feast, all children, Men, and women gathered around a sacred tree and sang the song “Halleluiah.” Soon many Vikings from neighboring towns also joined in and there was a lot of singing. After that, there was a dancing competition won by Dugard the Dancer, an art comp won by Amile the Artist and a hilarious theatre about the life of a Viking. This theatre starts with a baby Viking playing with his dad. Then it shows how the baby toddles his first steps. Before long, the baby is now a teen and likes to hang out with his friends, more than his family. When he is in his early twenties’ he realizes his responsibilities and tries his best to fulfill them. But unfortunately, he keeps bumping into stuff and things which he does are quite silly enough to make you laugh. Moreover, he is so clumsy that if he is holding a bottle, it will fall. If it does not, it is a miracle. After the theatre, all the people went to sleep in their respective houses. The next day all the town’s Vikings started to chat about Viking Night. They all enjoyed it, especially Fingard the Finicky who was extremely hard to impress. He really liked the theatre played by Rilatre the Ridiculous! If the town people were satisfied with Viking night, Stoick was satisfied with Viking night. So, to conclude, Viking night is a special night for Vikings. They have no limitations when it comes to celebrating their special night. So, my dear friends, I will not say goodbye, but I shall say see you soon and I mean it.
The Ayyar’s Go To Singapore Book 2 of the Aan series! By Vivaan Ayyar PYP 5C Chapter 1 It was a beautiful Saturday morning. It was the sixteenth of March, Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Vivaan and I live in Bangalore with my parents, grandparents, and my brother. And my two cousins are in Singapore and their names are Ahaan and Nivaan. I Vivaan am 22, Ahaan is 20, Ishaan is 18 and Nivaan is 17. Chapter 2 As I was saying it was the sixteenth of March and suddenly Ahaan called, he said, “why don’t you come to Singapore, and we can have some fun?”. I said, “sure I’ll book the flights”. “We will discuss where we should go in Singapore” exclaimed Ahaan. I immediately checked the internet for flights, and I found a good flight that goes straight to Singapore. So, I told everyone the news. Guys, I’ll tell you a little secret I got a first-class seat, but it was on the 31st of March and the problem was it was Ishaan’s birthday. It was a Friday, so decided to celebrate his birthday on the weekend before. [the next weekend] We planned a surprise party for Ishaan in the evening. I told all my relatives in Bangalore to come. First, we played some games then we ate chaat for dinner. [The next Friday] I booked a night flight, so I had to wait, wait, and wait all day finally after what felt like a dozen centuries it was night and the taxi came but I needed to wait two hours to reach the airport. [in Singapore] Chapter 3 So, we reached the Singapore airport, and we went to Baggage Collection Centre, but we waited, forever but we still didn’t find our luggage then I asked the help desk they said, “the flight from Bangalore has arrived” I said, “can you track our luggage” he said “yes, your name please” “Vivaan” I said, “it is currently in Malaysia”. I told everyone the bad news, then I called up Ahaan that, I had to take a diversion, but he said “come here we will see what we can do” “fine” I said as we hopped in a taxi and told them the address it is an hour’s drive but on the bright side, this was the first time seeing their new house. [1 hour later] The taxi driver could not go through some roads so he left us at a bus stop and we took a bus and once I stepped in the bus I was astonished the bus was so nice, it was even double decker, we
took that strait to the bus stop in front of their house looking at the house it looked huge and it extends to the back of the house. As soon as we entered the gate Ahaan and Nivaan came running since they knew where we were everyone helped us with the luggage then I greeted everyone and then I played with their dog, Fluffy. Everyone went to sleep but me and Ahaan played games on his console, we slept only at one O clock in the morning. we decided to go to Malaysia tomorrow, we also told the airlines to keep the luggage there. So that day was normal, the next day everyone woke up early, got ready and left. Chapter 4 It was a one-and-a-half-hour drive. There was only one part where we had to stop you have to pass immigration to cross but otherwise it was smooth once we reached Malaysia it was a tenminute drive to the airport. [ten minutes later] At the airport, the four of us went to the lost and found section and had to wait for an hour. Finally, we got our luggage alright, but we had to walk a long, long way to the car park. The drive to the hotel was uneventful and frankly we did not want more adventure. We had the fill for the day. All we wanted to do was to dump our luggage and crash on the bed. [the next day] “What a beautiful day!!” said Ahaan jumping out of the bed. But I was too sleepy and did not want to leave the warm blanket yet. But the thought of going to Lego Land and the fun that we would have, got me started. All of us got ready quickly, had our breakfast and we were on our way in no time. [in the land of Legos…] Once we reached, we scanned our entry passes and we were in the land of Legos. Once we entered, we all noticed all the shops looked like they were made of Lego, so this area is just the sopping area, all the activities and rides are in the next area. So, we walked more and then we received a map of all the zones and a trail which marks where to go, so first we had the city area. We got Lego cars to go to the end there were tons on the street they were fast and nippy so we could get around fast and easily. First there were some Kidde rides then there was a roller coaster it was so crazy for the first ride; it went upside down and everything. After that we watched an interesting documentary on how the place was made. It was two hours long, but it was very nice. Next we went to the RC circuit, so you know how I told you that we had mini personal cars, they gave us controllers to which pair to the car, and we race them around the track. oh yeah, here’s another secret, one of my hobbies is driving an RC car, so I had a lot of fun. If you move on there are a few more coasters but you find one that stands out. It was called standing coaster, so I went inside and checked so, you stand for five minutes around the track, we all did it. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Then we took a trip through Jurassic Park, it was a roller coaster in the river. It was a memorable experience where we passed many dinosaurs and where we re-lived a few of the scenes from the original Jurassic Park. The next interesting zone that we all went is “Design and Race your own Lego Car”. This was a mind-blowing experience as there were many children who were doing awesome Lego car designs and later testing them on the track.
I remember very well how I had designed my car – it was a quadruple motor beast with two brains which I could control from my remote. This gave tough competition for the other cars. We then headed to the Harry Potter zone; we were welcomed by the “Spell Experience Zone” where I could cast a random spell and wait for its impact. My brother Ahaan being Harry Potter’s super fan enjoyed it thoroughly. We all were super exhausted after trying out different spells on each other. It was time to take a bio break and we then headed to the souvenir shop. I scanned the aisles for different Legos and small souvenirs for my buddies. I ended up picking few Legos sets which I was scouting for few years now. Chapter 5 It was time to say goodbye to Legoland and head back to the Hotel. We all unwind in the restaurant, had our dinner, and crashed. We had to start early morning next day to drive back to Singapore. The next morning was uneventful where we all packed our bags, checked out and started our drive back home. We were welcomed by our parents, and we all shared our experiences of different activities that were there. We ended our day early as we had to catch an early morning flight back to Bangalore. This time we made many memories together which always makes us want more and this is what keeps all of us together. Until next time…….

The boy who loved football By Aarush Rajasekar PYP 5D Once upon a time, there lived a boy called Robert who loved Football. He studied 10th grade in Stonehill International School in Bangalore. He sleeps wearing his team’s full kit and dreams of winning the FA Cup final. He plays football during lunchtime; he plays football after school hours. He even plays in his room until his mum scolds him off. He is the best player on the field, but he never stopped trying to get better. Every day he worked hard and taught himself new moves. One fine day there was a new joiner named Fernandes in his class. He is also a Football mad. He plays football around the clock. Robert came to know about Fernandes. Fernandes always outshines Robert in Football. Till Fernandes came Robert thought that he was the only player who played football very nicely. There is no one to beat him. Days passed and Robert started getting gloomy because Fernandes was better. So, one day Robert was not able to take it anymore. He came and challenged Fernandes to a one-on-one battle. So, they had a challenge game the next day. No matter how hard Robert played he lost the game with the Fernandes. Robert was upset. After that match, Robert was angry at himself that he didn't touch Football at all. Fernandes came to know of this, and he felt guilty about himself. One year went by, Robert without playing Football. Fernandes was changing schools the next year before that he thought he would have a word with Robert. Fernandes told Robert that “Losing and Winning is a part of the game”. Participation is more important than winning the game. He further added that he will leave the school and Robert can continue playing Football. Robert felt guilty about his behavior towards Fernandes and apologized to him. The Fish and the cat By Abir Rautela PYP 5D In a jungle near a river, there was a large-sized fish which was peach and silver in color. His name was Tuna, he was very quick and sleek in water, Tuna was way faster than all the other fish whenever the other fish went in a group, Tuna would dash right through the group leaving the other fish to be splashed by his bubbles. Tuna was a bit of a bully to the other fish. He always teased them, stole their stuff, called them names, He also slapped some of them with his tail! Beside the river, there was a lush forest, and in that deep, vast territory there was a cat named Whiskers. Whiskers was a wild cat that used to love eating fish (especially tunas!) But there was a problem Whiskers hated getting wet and fish was his favorite food! Whiskers barely got a chance to eat the fish. He also only ate scraps of fish that he found by the riverbank. Whiskers only dreamt about hunting fish. One day Whiskers was walking along the riverbank, and he heard something going on under the water, the fish were swimming roughly underneath the water Whiskers wondered what was going on. Meanwhile, underwater tuna was leaping up and harassing other fish tuna jumped up and down the water. On land, Whiskers was staring at the underwater commotion. He watched as tuna jumped up and down in the water, suddenly Whiskers threw himself at Tuna and grabbing him right in midair. Now Whiskers had got a giant fish he could eat, and all the other fish did not need to worry about tuna ever again.

A visit to Mahabalipuram By Aditya Sundaravadanan PYP5D In Bengaluru, there was a boy called Uday. He was a very smart kid. There was only one thing common between Uday and his dad, they both got stressed over trivial things. One day in Uday’s class, his teacher gave the whole class a project. They needed to make a “Show and tell” about Mahabalipuram. Uday was so stressed that he could not use his computer for any research because his little brother broke it. He did not have any prior knowledge about that place. So, he started thinking about what to do, but he was not getting any ideas. Then he grabbed a snack from the fridge and when he eats a snack, his brain works much faster. As soon as he opened the fridge, he saw something strange. Initially, he thought it was a piggy bank but when he looked at it closely, it was a time machine. Uday showed that time machine to his dad. His dad was speechless. Uday sat and thought, about where that time machine came in his fridge and why. He also told his friend Aman about it. After some brainstorming, they both decided to go to Mahabalipuram in 632 AD and learn about it for their project. When they (Uday and Aman) reached Mahabalipuram, they were surprised to see such big statues. Then, they went to meet the king of Mahabalipuram at that time, Mahendra Varman (king of the Pallava dynasty). As soon as they started talking, a message came from Pulikesi. War was about to start. Uday and Aman also had a weapon called a “Laser gun.” They made more such guns and taught all the soldiers how to use them. So, The Pallavas won the war with laser guns. After the war was over, Uday and Aman came back to the present time. The next day, they shared their experience with their class and got good applause for their project. Uday remembered this experience and stopped getting stressed over trivial things in future. THE END
The mystery By Aanya J PYP5D The shadow Dear diary, it was a cold night, in my office where I was still thinking about the mystery that hadn't been solved, yet. As I thought to myself about how the mystery could be solved, I noticed something outside the window. I approached it and saw nothing. “I must have imagined it” I thought to myself. I sat back down on my dusty old chair, and I heard something like “ssssssss.” I checked the window again, and there was nothing. "It must be the wind” I thought “I must. be seeing things. I better catch some z’s.” The dream Dear diary, last night I had a haunting dream, “where am I?” I spoke. THUD! "What is this, a toy doll?” I don’t quite remember, but I think There was an eight sign on the doll. It was in a dark forest, where I saw kids happily playing. I rushed to them like a chetah and tried to warn them someone or something was nearby. They couldn't hear me, but something else caught my eye, it was an apple that had the same eight sign as the doll. Interrogation Dear diary the mystery is something that many people have been complaining about, so I decided I would interrogate them. Jemma- “I had a nephew who went out with his friends and never came back. I think he went to a forest or something.” Thats when it hit me the dark forest in my dream was where people went missing, but where did they go, and how did they get there? Lana- “I saw an apple tree like the one -” “Like the one outside the window?” I asked. Lana- “yeah, the one outside the window” The apple tree that I had seen in my dream is the apple tree outside! Kaila- “My child went into the forest and came back with an infinity mark on her hand, and on her doll.” The eight mark was an infinity mark that I saw on the apple and the doll, so someone like the SHADOW! The shadow that I saw and heard must be behind this! Whatever it touches has an infinity mark on it. The people are not gone forever their just lost! I need to call the rescue team to help them, and I'll find the shadow.
Bird Hero By Anshul Balaramamahanti PYP5D Have you ever wondered why you have been living near a forest that is prone to wild animals lurking inside, which is spooky and known as the creepiest forest? Well, it is known as “Vancouver Forest” and around the Vancouver Village, was a nest of a hyper spy named Jax the hyper bald eagle, and while He was sleeping, all the sudden a green explosion busted his ears in a flash, he trooped to the forest, but before he started to fly, he got his super suit, and raced in the maximum speed of an airplane, and “SKEEEEEEEEEEE” he gaped at the forest has turned to an evergreen kingdom, he triggered his spy mode, sneaked underground, and saw the witches as apprenticed with a king named lord evil, when he noticed his head, he plopped down, and with his utility backpack, he pulled out a giant boxer and saw one of the witch’s spot, and, “ZONG!”, “AAAAAAAAAAA” Screamed the witch, the other witches and lord evil heard the scream of the witch, and bird hero giggle with both of their ears, “I think that puny eagle threw the witch out” said lord evil “That’s right!” Bird Hero plopped out, but before that, he sharpened his beak, “Ready or not, Here I Come!!!” shouted Bird Hero, and then a light brown trail whooshed on the other witches and the witches are flung as Bird Hero bounces at them, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY APPRENTICES?!”, exclaimed lord evil, “I... don’t care about your punky tattletale low down good for nothing witches” said lord evil, all of the sudden, lord evil lost his temper, and Bird Hero shot out his wing and grabbed him, “Grand Boss Finale, finished!”, and spun around and flung him away to the outer space, “Klattu Barada Nikto” Bird hero said, and then, applauses from the whole continent, and his face is all over all social media and the news the universe contains, hooray for bird hero!!!, said all the continents in the world, and whenever he would travel, he would travel in a limousine

She wanted to meet her mother and father, but it would be difficult with. Everything going on. With Elizabeth. In the train ride. Elizabeth caught up with best friends. It was her whole gang of friends which went on many adventures with her. She hugged them tightly crying. She told them the whole story Violet tried to comfort her. While it was one of her best friends. She was from China. A whole city of wonders. As if she was shy but. She always used to comfort her friend. Once they reached Australia, Elizabeth ran. Even though she was in an Uncomfortable dress. Once she reached the ranch, she forgot about her friends at the train station. Luckily, they came. They came right behind her. Her grandmother looked tired. From working on the ranch alone. In Australia Elizabeth hugged her grandmother. Asking where is the sheep? She went into the barn seeing tired looking Sheep. She looked in their food bowl but there was nothing but food. She patted the sheep a lot. “Anyway, why do you love sheep so much?” Colette asked. Another one of her friends. She was from Paris. So, you know how all this is? Means. She is the queen of fashion. In Paris. When Colette is on a farm, she hates farms. So, she always gets some extra boots. Just in case her boots were ruined. By the mud Elizabeth told her sheep was important. “Because They trimmed the hair of the sheep and just sell it. That's how they earn money.” as they all were talking.
