PREFACE

This handbook is prepared by the Banner Team of
Wesley Methodist Church Kuantan. It is to provide
those who are interested in banner worship with a
helpful reference by the team. It includes an overview
of what banner worship is about; the symbolics and
significance of the banner and its colors, guides to
banner movements and choreographies, the personal
journies of the Banner Team members, opinions from

the church members on banner worship, and
highlights of past events the Banner Team has taken
part in. This handbook is bilingual, with English and
Mandarin. We do hope that readers would understand
more in-depth about banner worship and will be keen
to learn this unique way of worshipping the Lord. We,
the Banner Team, hope to guide each and everyone to

the path of worshipping through banner dance.

INTRODUCTION

认识旌旗

旗舞定义: 舞旗融入舞蹈所结合而成，可应用于敬拜、争战、代祷、代求中。
