Renowned artist/photographer Ari Marcopoulos worked hand-in-hand with Incase designers to defy convention and create a camera bag that provided fast access to cameras and equipment in a highly evolved, easy-to-carry ergonomic design, reimagining the functionality and style of a camera bag into a simple, beautiful design.
First edition releases of the bag included a copy of Now Is Forever, a book of previously unseen photographs by Ari whose work can be found in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum of Art, SFMoMA and Berkeley Museum of Art.

ACE HOTEL 2011
Incase and Ace Hotel released a capsule collection of travel and technology accessories evincing Ace’s rustic-urban aesthetic and Incase’s minimalist approach to functional product design. Inspired by classic flight jackets, the five-piece collection includes a Duffel Bag, Shoulder Bag, 15” Sleeve, Portfolio for iPad and Snap Case for iPhone 4.

A.P.C. 2011
Incase and A.P.C partnered to create a capsule collection that combines the nuanced look and feel of the finest Japanese selvage denim with superb device-driven design. These accessories were designed especially for Apple users who appreciate refined fashion and relish the latest technology. The clean, minimalist design of the A.P.C. Book Jacket and A.P.C. Sleeve evoke the essence of simplicity, while premium denim and leather trim offer an exceptional look and feel.

Fashion leader BEAMS forever changed Japanese youth culture with their understated style suited to daily life. We made these limited-edition BEAMS Packs exclusively for BEAMS Japan, based on our signature Campus Pack design.

Shawn Stüssy singlehandedly redefined streetwear and workwear with a skate- and surf-inspired aesthetic. The Incase | Stüssy Series 001 Collection fuses utilitarian design with superior technology protection. We created military-inspired bags and accessories to form a modular carrying system that easily adapts to the demands of long expeditions or short missions.

Todd wanders the world with his camera, one step at a time. Based in his hometown of San Diego, Todd’s work has taken him to remote surf spots all over the world.
As a staff photographer for Surfer Magazine, Todd has captured some of the biggest names in the surf world and photographed some of the world’s most famous and dangerous waves.
Featured in the 2010 release “Surfer Magazine: Fifty Years,” Todd was awarded a Follow The Light Foundation grant in 2008 and won 2009 Surfer Magazine Photo of the Year, amongst numerous other awards. Most recently, his image of Kelly Slater was inducted into the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC.

Incase was called upon by musician John Mayer to develop a collection of products inspired by tactical traveling and military fashioning for his upcoming world tour. Incase designers worked with John through the development process to arrive at the artist’s ultimate complimentary collection of traveling solutions, which includes the World Tour Case guitar bag, iPod Dop Kit, Stage Kit and Scribe Folio.

Incase partnered with John once again to create the custom Gigbag and Hardshell Case designed to protect the Fender Custom Shop Masterbuild John Mayer BLACK1 Tribute Stratocaster, limited to 83 in total worldwide.

2010 - 2013
We created Room 205, a rehearsal and live recording space in Downtown Los Angeles, to share our passion for art and music and showcase the people that inspire us. Working in collaboration with a revolving cast of filmmakers, set designers, audio engineers and friends, Room 205 played host to touring and local musicians who each performed three songs and lives on as a series of intimate recorded performances by some of independent music’s most original artists.

OriginalFake was the brain child of the inimitable contemporary artist KAWS. To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the OriginalFake boutique in the Aoyama district of Tokyo, Arkitip, KAWS and Incase worked together to create a custom designed notebook sleeve, which served as the packaging for Arkitip Issue No. 0041.

2005
As part of a collaborative show in Paris by DC Shoes and Arkitip Magazine featuring the work of famed grafiti artist André, Incase produced a special edition Hipsack to coordinate with a limited release of 250 shoes handpainted by the artist to commemorate the special event.


KRINK 2008
Curated by Arkitip launched with the KRINK Sleeve, the first in an ongoing series aimed at delivering artistically embellished Apple- based products to users who have an appreciation for the creative arts and technology. Featured artists were selected by Arkitip for dedication to their respective art forms and unique points of view.
