Our schools students participated in ICSQC- Mauritius and performed remarkably
well.
Rani Priyanshi (12-C) bagged the first position in the Mathematics Competition while
Anaika Pathak (12-F) secured first position in English debate. In Hindi Kavya
Sammelan, Akriti Singh (12-E2) got the best speaker award. Our students also
bagged the second prize- Deming Award in Case study Presentation. Besides, we
also got the best Creative Team award in Cultural events. The icing on the cake was
the overall Championship trophy-the Best Participating Team award .

TALK OF THE TOWN-THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY
A solemn occasion
to prepare the

don the mantle of
leadership and

entrusted upon

A special assembly was held to welcome
back the junior children .The assembly
began with the song 'he sharde maa...'
seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati,
the Goddess of Wisdom. Students not only
sang but also deleberated on the
importance of the day. Respected In Charge
ma'am, Mrs. Neelam Pandey along with the
sub incharge Mrs. Shikha Bhatnagar,
coordinators Mrs. Sarita Bhaskar and Mrs
Savita Mall led the prayer and sought the
blessings of the Goddess.Ma'am incharge
introduced the new staff members and
welcomed the new students in her
insightful speech.The enriching assembly
ended with the rythmic aerobic exercises
led by Mr. Prashant Yadav , the physical
Instructor.
The Junior Youth Empowerment Program
developing language skills, power of
expression and the overall empowerment of
the new generations of young people.
The day was glorified with the altruistic and benign presence of
most respected founder manager, Dr . JAGDISH GANDHI in his
powerful speech impressed upon the meaning and benefits of
leading a spiritual life . Dr. Gandhi , an epitome of humility
unveiled the incidents from all holy books and threw light on the
lives of all avatars. Eventually, Dr.Gandhi held a much discerning
interactive session in which many students actively took part and
elaborated the meaning of the school prayer .Most respected
senior Principal ma'am *Dr . *Mrs.VINEETA KAMRAN graced the
occasion with her reassuring and most desired presence and
blessed the children with her contemplative and enriching words.
The assembly conducted by the students of class 6 D was special
in its true spirit and essence . The explanation of the first three
lines followed by the song itself and the explanation of a few
verses and hymns from the holy Guru Granth Sahib which was a
visual treat lit the spiritual light in every child. The virtue of
humility reflected upon the benefits of being humble. The
presentation on SDG 15, Life on Land focused on its goals
enlightening students about the need of protecting and restoring
of our ecosystems.
Investiture Ceremony was held in the
WUCC Auditorium in the finest order and
grandeur. Most respected Principal
ma'am,
Dr. Mrs.Vineeta Kamran, formally
invested the students wisely chosen
with varied duties and responsibilities
with the honourable gesture of
conferring badges to them. The regal
entry of the office bearers in
accompaniment with the band was a
feast to the eyes of the beholders.
Respected principal ma'am in her
address prevailed on the importance of
the office and tasks of the newly chosen
office bearers .The house Coordinator
Mrs.Protibha Ghosh played a leading
role along with Mr.Anjan in selection of
the best of students Incharge of
section--Mrs.Neelam Pandey blessed the
students & proposed the vote of thanks.
The orientation programme started with the
school prayer. The parents were warmly
welcomed by coordinators of each class. They
apprised the parents about Global
Competencies, Active Learning Strategies and
importance of counseling. They gave tips on
parents' role in imbibing the moral values in
children with a modern outlook. A brief
description of the Institute which included
history and reputation of college was given.
Dr.Abdulla Rasheed Ahmed , Minister of State
for Education country of Maldives, made the
occasion distinct and significant . He shared his
valuable experiences in different states of India.
A purposeful presentation by the councillor, Ms
Rebekah Dubey, on modern parenting was given.
She emphasized on limiting screen time,
becoming a good role model, spending quality
time with children and discussing about
problems children are facing. Teacher experts
acquainted the students with the rules and
regulations which they need to abide to. They
laid emphasis on the cooperation of parents
regarding the current environmental issues
taken up by the institution. The incharge of the
junior section, Ms Neelam Pandey briefed about
the changes in assessment pattern. She told
about the aims, process, question paper pattern,
marks distribution, unit projects etc. of the new
assessment pattern.
75 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS- Azadi ka Amrit
Mahotsav May your spirits rise with the flag today! The day's
celebration was set in motion by the 'Prabhat Bheri', the
ceremonial procession, tricolour clad , led by the magnificent
school pipe band. The Marching of the parade was indeed eye
catching. Honourable Principal, Dr.Mrs. Vineeta Kamran
hoisted the flag and then the National Anthem filled the air
with patriotic fervour . In her insightful address, she threw
light on the importance of the day. She said, "Today is a day
to feel proud about being a part of this great nation and let's
strain every nerve to take her ahead. "The sense of happiness
and pride could be clearly seen on the faces of all the
pupils.The cultural program which commenced with the
Fancy Dress competition of the Pre primary children was a
symbol of a diverse but united India .The Inter House Dance
competition held at Junior level depicted the diverse rich
cultural heritage of our great nation.'A street show' on Clean
India , the patriotic songs led by Mr. Sanjay Saxena and Ms.
Poonam Singh and poem recitation were a few of the
highlights of the day.Respected Principal ma'am herself
graced the occasion by distributing prizes to all the deserving
participants.-- dressed to the Occasion A large number of
students attended the day's celebrations.Respected
Headmistress Mrs.Rucha Ahuja proposed the vote of
thanks.Sweets were distributed to the students.May this
spirit of freedom lead us all to success and glory in life.

17 August, the eve of Janmashtami witnessed
one of the most extravagant and colourful
celebrations at Junior Section.To recreate the
incidents from Krishna's life , students presented
a skit on Janmashtami in the morning assembly.
By commemorating Krishna's love for Radha, the
message of love was spread in the morning
assembly.Devotional songs in praise of Radha and
Krishna were sung by the students of Junior
Section while the children and teachers playing
different roles in the skit danced in praise of Lord
Krishna.Distribution of prizes for different
categories in various competitions was held in
the assembly. The children were praised by the
Respected Vice Principal for their earnest efforts
and hardwork.Under the guidance of Mr. Arvind ,
the talented Fine Arts teacher, an artistic Temple
was built to keep the idol of the infant Krishna.
Students bathed and placed the holy infant in a
cradle to make the occasion meaningful and
insightful.May Lord Krishna shower his choicest
blessings on all of us .
