SHINING STARS

Atharva Dwivedi, a student of XI, received the first prize, certificate, shield and 600r rupees cash in the
essay competition organized by the National Council for Substitution of Indian Languages, Uttar Pradesh.
Priya Singh and Nandini Tripathi of X I got the certificate of second prize, Vachetna Choubey , Yogendra
Singh of X A student got the third prize.

Along with this, citations were awarded to the teacher Dr. Devesh
Trivedi and Dr. Shail Pandey.

Certificates, shields and 400 rupees were awarded to 3 students for 2nd place in
Antakshari competition. They are IX - I Arna Bajpai, IX - B Navnoor Kaur and Devaj Mishra of class 8.

ANNUAL FETE
AND

CARNIVAL -

15th July 2022 was a wonderful day filled with laughter, fun games and community spirit
building activities as it was Annual Fete and Carnival at City Montessori School, Kanpur
Road Campus. The event organized by the students council and Teachers after the

lockdown received a marvelous response with the participation of Children along with their
parents, in a great number. A wide variety of food and game stalls were arranged. Major
attractions for the visitors were tambola and 'Frosty Frills'. There were attractive gifts for
the participants who expressed their excitement, zeal and willingness to engage in the
celebration. It was an effort to raise funds for the deprived and City Montessori School
expresses heart felt gratitude to everyone for their whole hearted participants.

VIDYA KA PARV

Education is the basic necessity of life. It is an
integral tool that aids the overall growth and

development. Education has a plethora of
meanings and educates and empowers you within
the four walls of the classroom as well as imbibe in
your environment. CMS Kanpur Road celebrated
VIDYA KA PARV by welcoming the students after
the summer vacations ended, on 1st July 2022. A

special assembly was conducted by the senior
students. The Principal Dr Mrs. Vineeta Kamran

welcomed the students in her address . She
emphasised that education refers to ‘the process

of providing and receiving instructions, through
academic and scholastic efforts.’ Vice-Principal

Mrs. Shipra Bajpai told the students about the
importance of discipline in education. The

students were delighted to be back in school after
the vacations. The tone was set for the coming
academic session

CONCORDIA 2022

A diligent young talent of CMS Kanpur
road campus- Snehil Siddharth won the

2nd prize in the NATIONAL LEVEL
CONCORDIA EVENT (mic rap battle).
Organized by W.H Memorial School in
Banaras, Up-the competition witnessed
participants from around the globe. It is
an honor for the institution to celebrate
the victory of our budding singer who
brought laurels with his stupendous

performance.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY OF CMS KANPUR ROAD
CAMPUS -

The momentous day of investiture held on 27th July 2022 , dawned to bestow responsibilities on the
deserving young talents of the school to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence
and competence . The school held the ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was the occasion where the young
students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to

them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to felicitate them for being an
important and integral part of the student administrative body, ‘Student Council’. The institution proudly
stands on the these young pillars of strength who one day will become magnificent towers of leadership.

Two students of the campus- Shruti(11-C) and Aadya mishra( 9-
C) were a part of the students reporters meet at Dayal Bagh.

The lively interaction was facilitated by the glorious presence of
the Joint Commissioner of Up- Piyush Mordia sir. The students
were also felicitated for the interaction by Dheeraj Malhotra sir

(principal of kunwar school) and the MD of Dayal group and
companies- Rajesh Singh. The budding reporters were given an
encouraging address regarding issues concerning journalism,

law and order in the city and the role of the youth in the
progress of the country.

On 3rd August an Inter- house salad brunch
competition was organized under the guidance of

our house coordinator, Mudita Kumar . The
various delicacies, new fascinating recipes and
magical blends of tastes left us all ecstatic. The
participating teams filled the atmosphere with
great enthusiasm and zeal -to which the campus is
a great witness. With Unity house bagging the first
spot and hope and love following the footsteps

acquiring the second and third position
respectively-today's competition was a attested

by great fervor and flavors.



Under the guidance of DK Trivedi sir, six
students from class 11th- [Shruti(11-c)
Nandita (11-C) Purvi (11-B) Srishti (11-B)
Pragya (11-A) Khyati(11-G)] interviewed
a panel of doctors at the CMS radio . The
interview was based on the issues and
queries regarding monkey pox, Covid-19,
adolescence, diet and heath routines. Dr.
Nirmala Mishra and Dr . Nirupama Joshi
interacted with students and praised
them for the awareness and enthusiastic
approach. Harsh Bawa sir also praised

the students for their perfect
coordination and spontaneous

responses.

AZAADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV
CELEBRATION

Many more competitions were held in CMS
Kanpur Road Branch pertaining to the UP
government directive Students from class
ninth to twelfth participated with lots of zeal in

painting competition “DRAW YOUR
FAVOURITE FREEDOM FIGHTER ”
Simultaneously the poetry writing competition
“HINDI KAVYA PATH” was conducted where
the participants were given only 1 hour to
prepare. The students exhibited their
rendering skills by reciting Patriotic Poems

INTER HOUSE DANCE COMPETITION -

In CMS Kanpur Road Branch an inter house dance
competition was held to promote the feeling of
patriotism and competitive spirit amongst the
students and celebrate “AZAADI KA AMRIT

MAHOTSAV ” The students presented a plethora
of dance forms from classical to contemporary .
The judges found it to be a very arduous process

to judge such stellar performances The First
position in the competition was awarded to HOPE
House Second position was secured by PEACE

House and Third position was taken up by
LOVE House

75th INDEPENDENCE DAY OF INDIA -

On the joyous occasion of the 75th
Independence Day of our beloved motherland,

the school band and school council held the
flags with all the zeal and enthusiasm and

marched till the 'Prabhat Pheri'. The patriotism
and respect for the long, glorious freedom was
well displayed in the astounding , stupendous

conduct and comportment. The celebration
was also filled with patriotism by their

commemorating speeches and performances.
